Lowes - Poor customer service in the appliance department

Today I was shopping for new appliances. No one ever came to ask me if they could help me. I went to the customer desk in appliances twice during my visit were to gentleman were standing and talking. One of the sales associate was helping a customer the other one was just there. Never once did they come over to talk to me about appliances. While I was looking at appliances the one sales associate helped two other customers but never came and asked me if he could help me. When I went to the customer desk the second time one of the men actually rolled his eyes at me. I left the store without making a purchase. I went to Home Depot where I Recieved excellent service and made my $6000 purchase there.

Lowes - Never again

I will never again buy any appliance or equipment from Lowe's again. I purchase I refrigerator from them with an extended warranty. I have had problems with the refrigerator from day one. And every single person I spoke with from Lowe's gave me a different answer. In the beginning, I trusted what they were advising me to do. Which in time, didn't help me at all. Now, fast forward, one and half years later. I have to get and paid for a repairman( they say i will be reimbursed, but i don't trust them). this repairman will probably do the same replacements and service that has already been done ( doesn't work) and will cost me at least 900.00. Never again. going to Home Depot forever

If you had problems with the refrigerator from the start why aren't you complaining about the manufacturer. The manufacturer is responsible for warranty repairs for the first year, then your service contract kicks in. If the manufacturer couldn't get it fixed in a year it seams like you would be upset with them.

Maybe the fault lies with the manufacturer - it is their product that failed - not the retailer.It ill only perform as well as it is built - and you never told us who built it - so I think you're way out of bounds blaming only the retailer.

Lowes - Website won't let me use my gift eCertificate

I've wasted 3 days attempting to place online order using my certificate. Keep getting message that 'gift certificates can't be used to purchase other certificates'. Problem is I'm NOT trying to purchase another certificate, I want to order plumbing and electrical supplies. Used their useless "Chat" feature multiple times only to be told over and over to try again . . . their website and help features suck! It's 2018 folks, fix your website, unless you're trying to lose customers to Home Depot. I really do not like to have to deal with these types of problems when I need to make a purchase and will avoid shopping at Lowes in the future.

You don't say what your problem in getting assistance is. Your are shopping in a big box retail store which is for the most part self service.

The employees that work in big box stores are trained in specific departments. The person working in the electrical department isn't going to be able to help you in the plumbing or appliance department. The person in appliances isn't going to be able to help you with windows. To maximize profits there aren't many people working at any time in a big box store.

If you need help in a big box store you have to be patient and wait for the person working ing the department you need help in to be available. Running around the store expecting people in other departments to help you gets you nowhere.

If service is what you need, go to a locally owned specialty shop. Sure you will pay a little more but they have to pay the people that will be there to help you.

Last March I ordered a Honeycombs blinds lowes, and today May 25/2018 two and a half months later I have not received this order in its entirety, there are 7 items and I have only received three, and still do not give me exact date when I am going to receive the rest and they do not want to return my money either, very bad service, I have been in my new house waiting for this order to cover my windows and nothing they do not solve. Please do not buy with this company, you feel that your money and your time are stolen. En Marzo pasado yo ordene unas honeycombs blinds Lowes, y hoy Mayo 25/2018 dos meses y medio despues yo no he recibido esta orden en su totalidad, son 7 items y solo he recibido tres, y todavia no me dan fecha exacta de cuando voy a recibir el resto y tampoco quieren regresar mi dinero, muy mal servicio, yo he estado en mi casa nueva esperando esta orden para cubrir mis ventanas y no me solucionan nada. Por favor no comprar con esta compania, sientes que te roban tu dinero y tu tiempo.

Lowes in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida - WORST WINDOW PROJECT INSTALL EVER

Ordered $6k worth of Windows from Lowes - said turnaround is roughly 8-10 weeks. 4 months later the installers showed up (who are great guys, contractors for Lowes) and our picture windows was manufactured incorrectly. Now have to wait another 4-6 weeks. Lowes project management department in Indialantic Florida Lowes is awful. Poor communication, non professional, and no QA process in place. Our windows sat at Lowes for over a month, no one checked the specs to see if windows were build to spec. NEVER USE LOWES for Windows installs from Indialantic Florida Lowes. Plus they jack the *** out of install prices. I will never step foot in another Lowes. Happy to drive the extra 5 minutes to Home Depot for run of the mill items, which adds up to thousands of dollars.

The worst experience customer service over the phone and in person. These folks should not be in this business with the lack of professionalism and communication skills of a baboon. Scratch that. I’ve seen baboons exhibit more grace. I paid for custom shades and installation months ago. Apparently the guy who’s suppose to let the contractor know I received it is never to be found. When I’ve found him, he says he’ll take care of it. Fast forward 2 weeks and still nothing. What a clusterf of a store. The one is Westborough puts this one to shame. I used to spend thousands yearly at this store. No more.

Lowes in Louisville, Kentucky - Lowe's install fail

Lowes - Lowe's install fail
Bought a dishwasher at Lowe's and had them remove my old one and install the new one. Installation went well, woke up the next morning and water is dripping from the ceiling of my finished basement below the dishwasher that was installed. Called the installer and they came to check it out (8 hours later). The connections to the dishwasher were dry, so the installer guessed that the supply line that is between the bottom of the cabinet and the ceiling in the basement must have sprung a leak. Even though he was in there installing a junction box for the electric and working with the supply line, it couldn't possibly be caused by him. No problems with this ever and all of a sudden we have a dishwasher installed and pipes in between floors start to leak. So i contact Lowe's and they basically said, "that is your problem, call your insurance company". If the dishwasher works, that is all they are concerned about. So now I will have to pay a deductable, and my insurance will go up 15% because Lowe's doesn't stand behind their installations. #Loweshomeimprovement #Lowesinstallationfail

Stop complaining. Typical of society today, people wanted to save a buck or two by going to these Big Box stores instead of supporting thier local lumber yard.

Now that the local lumber yards are out of business, the big box stores could care less and you are stuck with *** lumber and poor service. I hope it was worth it.

Lowes - Worst customer service ever!

Lowes has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered appliances from lowes (physical store) to be delivered to my new residence. They give me a delivery date with a time frame of 3pm-5pm. At 5:30 pm I call and they tell me they weren’t able to deliver today (no call, no email to let me know). They tell me delivery will be the following day from 5pm-7pm. They arrive 7:40 pm. The next day when I open the dishwasher it is banged up on one side- It looked like the delivery men threw down the boxes without care. I call to let them know that the dishwasher came defective and if they can come and replace it and they tell me I have to come and bring it to the store for an exchange which is ridiculous!! Wait there’s more… I had also placed an order online for 3 ceiling fans and two thermostats from them. They called me a few days later and told me they did not have the thermostats in stock and would not be able to deliver them. I told them that was fine and that I'd get the thermostats somewhere else. The day after my missed scheduled delivery, I call and I am informed that our order has been cancelled because of inventory issues (again, no call no e-mail). The girl I spoke to on the phone didn’t even want to attempt to help me. I asked that the order be placed again and due to their mess up I asked if they could expedite the delivery, which she refused. I was persistent and she put me on hold for 30 minutes!!! After waiting and waiting I started yelling into the phone that I would be filing a complaint and magically she answered the phone right then! Anyways she told me one day shipping wasn't possible, which I don't believe, but I agreed to the 3 day shipping. A day later I get an email with the delivery confirmation and the address is somewhere in Alabama (I live in Las Vegas) and on the order its one thermostat and 2 ceiling fans (supposed to be 3 ceiling fans only). I call today to fix and they tell ME, that I have to call fedex to fix the address or call back tomorrow to essentially remind them to do their jobs. I call the next day again and they tell me that a “specialist team” was going to contact me in 3 days to reorder the products, I told them to just give me my money back. What a terrible experience. Go to Home Depot! Much more professional and helpful. PS Lowe's uses a third party carrier to deliver their products so they can differ blame and responsibility.
