Oh, and I saw this little gem once I submitted my review, and I'd be lying if I said I was surprised: 3,860 TOTAL REVIEWS 30 ISSUES RESOLVED That's 0.007% of issues resolved. Good job guys.

The people at Lowe's don't have two brain cells to rub together. The only difference is that my disaster scenario involved them charging my card 11 times for one order, maxing out my card, and causing my bank to call me incessantly while I'm at work to ask me if these charges are valid. Beyond that, the order was supposed to be delivered on Thursday... then Friday... now it's Saturday morning and they can't finalize the order because they maxed out my card yesterday and the card was stopped for fraud activity - these bastards had the audacity to ask me for another card and told me that my order wouldn't be delivered until Saturday evening. The brain trust at Lowe's must have not understood the previous 724 times I told them that I needed the order on Saturday morning to complete a customer's job. Typically, money is exchanged for goods and services; in this scenario, it was exchanged for broken promises, frustrations, idiocy, and 4 hours of my life spent dealing with insipid customer service that I'll never get back. Call it a broad generalization if you must, but every single person at Lowe's is 100% pure, unadulterated, uncut, organic, genuine garbage

Go into the store and purchase the items yourself. Lowe's doesn't have the capacity to fulfill online orders reliably.

Lowes - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

My wife and I went to Millsboro De. store to purchase a grill . The salesman gave me his card with a part number on it told me to go to the cashier .We followed his directions the poor cashier was confused told us to go back to the salesman he needs to give you an invoice .It took an embarrassing half hour to get this right .The delivery was scheduled for that wed. The delivery company called and told me they would be there between 1 and 3pm. they never showed . I called the store but could not get anyone to answer the phone . I called the next day spoke with Jess the delivery manager she told me she would reschedule it for that friday .Friday came no delivery and once again no answer at the store .After 4 hours of calling I finally got in touch with someone and was on hold for almost a half of hour waiting for the manager to pick up . Eventually a woman picked up and told me the manager would call me back in 1 minute . I never received a phone call . We still have no grill and this poorly run store has my money. Truly my fault because this is the second time this exact store has done the exact thing to my family . Don't let this happen to you because Lowes does not care about you one bit once they have your hard eared money .

Went to this location out of convenience, had an expectation that the customer service would be the same as it is across the board with other Lowe’s locations... (I was completely wrong) I had a project that I wanted to complete this weekend that would have cost a little under $200 once I priced everything that I needed. As I walked and grabbed the items that I needed, I realized that their inventory was a little off from the information that I received previously... No biggie... I was flexible with my choices, so I switched my items up. As I began gathering the replacement items, I asked one gentleman in appliances to assist me, he told me to wait and that he would help... after 15 minutes he walked away and didn’t return.. I tried not to allow that to steal my excitement. I walked each aisle hoping that i would find other items to incorporate.. I got the the aisle with PVC piping and had a brain storm.. I walked over to the register in the wood area and spoke to an older lady... she educated me that they would cut the pipe to my specifications and that she would page someone for me... she pages twice and no one ever showed up.. (I waited for 38 minutes) I decided to call the store at this point and ask for a manager to come over to assist me.. the first call that I made... after selecting “0” no one answered. I tried again, this time the operator said that she would page the manager on duty.. I heard her page this manager twice and again... nothing! Once I realized that my mood was changing, I took it as a sign and walked past the lady again at the register that helped previously and thanked her... I’m not sure of what is going on at this location, but there is room for improvement and opportunities of growth. Your business is losing sales for various reasons, your employees that are being paid to assist your customers are not accountable to their role and the managers are to busy to answer the phone! Sounds like you either need more employees, dedicated employees and possibly more managers. I highly doubt that i am the only person that has experienced this, as I went through this process today... just walking through the door at Lowe's is a very unsettling experience. They have the strangest employees I have ever come across in any store. They follow you around and are intrusive rather than helpful. The store manager is absolutely the worst. Meetings are scheduled twice a day and employees are berated for not selling enough product. I have heard of the employees that tried to do the right thing and give them two weeks notice that they are quitting only to be told to leave immediately! The two men behind the Pro desk are the worst ever. From now on I will only be shopping at Menards.

Lowes - Terrible service

A few months ago I visited the Lowe's in Durham on 15-501. I expressed interest in purchasing (replacing) some wall-to-wall carpeting in our two master closets plus our adjacent linen closet. I was told that the person who schedules measurements would contact me. That never happened. Several weeks later I stopped by the store in Pittsboro and requested the same thing and selected a carpet preference. I was scheduled for a particular date/time range through Legacy. The person never showed at the appointed time. After several calls and waiting on line, they rescheduled the visit for another day. A few days after the measurements I received an email with a quote. I responded by email that I would go with the quote and asked to have the carpet ordered and installed. I never heard back. Several times I tried to reach the sales rep at the store by phone but there was never an answer. After another two to three weeks I revisited the Pittsboro store and spoke with the manager, who had me pay for the entire carpet/installation and was told that I would be contacted when it was ready. On Tuesday of this week I was called by Legacy, telling me that the installer would be at our house the next day between 9 and 11. I live in a gated community and told the gatehouse to expect a Legacy rep to be coming in during the appointed timeframe. At 10:10 on Wednesday morning my husband got a call from the gate that someone was at the gate and wanting in. He told the gate to let him in...but right after that my husband got a call from a man who apparently was the installer. He spoke very little English and my husband had difficulty understanding him but something like he would come back. I waited about 1.5 hours and never saw the man. I called Legacy and they tried to reach the installer with difficulty. After several phone calls and being tied up all day I was finally told that no-one could come out that day, that it was MY fault because the gate didn't let the man right in. That he had waited one hour and had to leave (not true..he was only there about 10'). I told him that the gate had been told that Legacy should have been let in...someone was at our house to receive them. The Legacy rep told me that it wasn't Legacy that was coming in but an independent contractor. I asked why they hadn't given me that name. I was told that they NEVER give the name of the subcontractor. Now the purpose of the gate is to have a name of every visitor who comes in. I asked why I couldn't have a name and was told it is their policy. When I tried to explain that my husband couldn't understand what the first man had said on the phone, the Lowe's rep said "There are lots of people in this country who speak Spanish!" I explained that I had no problem with that BUT my husband couldn't understand what the man was saying! Later in the day I got another call telling me that someone would come the next morning. I asked for a name and was put on hold 25'. Finally I was given a first name but they refused the last name. Why is that? Just make up a name, at least! (Are they illegals, not bonded, or what?) Waiting another day was a major inconvenience because we had cleared our closet and were expecting guests and also many other things scheduled that day. The carpet is finally in and looks fine, tho now we can't open and close our closet doors, as the person who measured had recommended a thicker pad without mentioning that this would happen. Now I need to get someone out here to shorten the doors.

We paid for a fence to be installed 9 weeks ago. We were initially told 4-6 weeks. Then told they lost our phone number and address, but it would now be 6-8 weeks due to their incompetence in loosing our information. Now 9 weeks in they are saying they will let us know. We are asking for our money back to go with a better company for the project, and they refuse.

I have never encountered anyone as rude as the returns person at Lowes in Hot Springs Arkansas.

I purchased a set of outdoor blinds from your store in Hot Springs Arkansas. When I asked to explain the problem, The African American lady was very rude and cut me off each time I tried to explain my reason for returning the product. I am 74 years old and have never been treated or embarrassed like that before. rest assured, I will never shop at Lowes again and will tell as many people as I can to steer clear of your business.
