Lowes - Poor customer service and installation

Purchased carpets from Lowe’s with installation. They send someone to install the rugs. One of the bedrooms sliding glass doors would not glide after installation. Told the installer before he left. He went back said he had fixed it. After he left I went and checked and it still won’t glide. After 5 calls to customer service they said they would send an inspector. They did. The inspector said that it has nothing to do with the installation. I told him the doors glided before he said the his man did not remove the doors. I told him I was there and he did. He said he will check the report again. It’s been over a month I keep calling they keep transferring me and kee putting me on hold and never come back to the phone. He also punteros the wall inside the closet. House is up for sale and I need to get this fixed right away. Photo of last time I called and was put on hold by the installation manager for over 30 minutes with no one coming back to the phone.

Lowes - Buying lawnmower

Last summer, I brought my dad a lawnmower we pay for it & we got warranty for they made it seem so great until you need to use they don't want to work with you. Don't get me started with the manger he was useless why sell products if you know it's junk. The problem I have with the whole I understand you need a receipt when you purchase things, but why don't you put all your costumers information on the computer & why you lie to them. Now I'm going to have with work on my roof I don't even know if I can trust with this whole lawnmower situation.

Return policy on lawn equipment is 30 days. No exceptions.

You'll have to go through the manufacturer. I suggest you start looking for the receipt or accept the loss.

Lowe’s computers only go back 6 months... did you think to put the oh so important purchase on a mylowes card which TRACKS your receipts?

No of course not.

The warranty company needs the invoice # off that receipt, period. So you need the importance of keeping a receipt when you’ve purchased a warranty explained to you???

We went to buy more paint and the man was busy so a lady came to Help us she took the lid to our paint to look for the kind of paint she needed to mix I kept watching her she walked around the paint dept for 30 minutes for her to come back to the counter and tell us they was out of the paint she did say they was expecting 40 gallons in but she didn’t know when we always shop Lowes never have had a problem like this before we was at Lowes in Stubenville,Ohio Thank you DiAnn Davis 981 May Roadd East Liverpool,Ohio 43920 330-831-3525

What exactly are you complaining about? Are you upset that an employee from another department came to help you and took a little longer than someone that worked in the department would or that they were out of stock on the paint you needed?

I don't know that either is a valid complaint.

At least someone came to help rather than letting you stand there and wait. Stores also run out of items from time to time.

My husband who is a Vet was declined the Vet discount yesterday, because he was NOT registered in the Rome store. He has the card all the info. I can't believe it!! We have done business with this company ever since the Vet Cards came in to view. We shop @ the Utica,N.Y. store, with out any issues. A Vet is a Vet. It saddens me to think, that they are treated this way. All stores should honor these cards, with out being registered at all of them. One store, I think would be enough. It should be in the computer the same to honor them. Laurie & Vince Carey

Well if you choose to go to a different retailer, you don't get a discount period.Now what may not of be explained to you, is your Vet status needs to registered, it takes 30 seconds at any customer service terminal.The reason is to speed the check out process for the3 customer, before you had to wait for a manager to give a price based over ride. Now it is automatic.Stores are now, required to not allow at register overrides.

a month later. Lowes has not gotten back to me.

We bought a new washer from Home Depot.

We can get whatever Lowes has from Walmart, HD and Home Goods. They lost a fairly regular customer.

On April 28, less than 10 days before leaving on vacation, our Samsung washer decides to call it quits. About to rush off to Lowes, I decided to check the manual/ warranty and saw my wife’s annotation that it was purchased on April 12, 2013 and the extended warranty we bought with it expired at the end of April 2018. I then called Lowes Customer Service, got a Kevin, who graciously extended our warranty an extra 30 days to May 12 as the warranty did expire on April 13 of 2018. Kevin emailed me verification of this and the next day he emailed a form to fill out for laundromat reimbursement, which we didn’t even know the extended protection plan included. We called the authorized Samsung repair facility and made an appointment for them to come April 29. Instead, they offered to inspect and identify needed parts that same day, the 28th. While there, the repairman called Lowes and verified the warranty was extended to May 12, 2018. He called in the necessary parts for repair and we waited a couple of days, not hearing from anyone. I called the repair facility and they explained they were waiting on Lowes to give the go ahead. I called Lowes and got a different rep who denied that our warranty was extended, even though he saw the documentation, explaining that the only way the extended protection plan could be extended beyond exactly four years was if the original delivery date was delayed until the end of April 2013, which it was not. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor, allegedly named David, and got the same spiel. He offered us a thirty dollar gift card to make up for the laundromat, and refused anything else. Told him to stuff the gift card as we will not be returning to Lowes, went to Home depot and bought a GE washer. Granted, the warranty probably did expire on the 13th, but why string us along and lie to us ? Done with Lowes.

Lowes in Hamburg, New York - Microwave Nightmare.

Had Lowe’s install a microwave. It was obvious the installer didn’t know what he was doing. He drilled in the upper screws at an angle that dented the entire top of the microwave. Somehow he also dented the side. It looks horrible and all we get from Lowe’s is lip service. We have called Lowe’s 12 times and each time they tell us they will have the installer call us. We have no other option but to take Lowe’s to small claims court for the cost of the microwave and the installation. Lowe’s has just lost another dedicated customer.(not that they care)

Lowes - Placed order March 28, still no gazebo!

The first one took a month to arrive at the local shipping office. So damaged the would not deliver it. A new replacement ordered april 27th and was told it would be delivered this week. They dont even know where it is. Summer will be over before it comes. The delivery co. Same Day shipping is the worst. Called many times over the 2 months and they dont callback like they promise. In all my years of ordering online this is by far the worst fiasco i have ever had. No more Lowes on line for me!

Well today i got a email from the credit bureau that they had closed my account i have never missed a payment or been late i have never had anyone do this too me i turned it ok into my lawyer and there are laws yo protect people from things like this and then they wander why your credit score goes down wrll duh!!!!

Not sure why you are complaining here. Lowe's does not own Synchrony Bank.

They are two different companies. The only reason I know of for cancellation is inactivity for one or more years. If you haven't used your card for a while, it's a pretty sure bet this is the reason. You'll have to contact the bank for information though.

Lowe's is extremely limited on looking up credit information.

They can see balance and print off a temporary card. That's about it.

The worst post I have ever seen. Absolutely no explanation of why you feel they provided the worst customer service.

If you are going to complain, tell the story of what upset you.

A post without substance is unbelievable and won't convince anyone you are serious. Too bad they let people post these short complaints from a mobile device.
