As it has been 2 weeks since IvyE at sheerid helped me to sign up for this discount on my deceased husband's 21 year Air Force career, I am wondering if my request has been approved. The local Lowe's store could not help me with filing the needed document (DD214) and sent me to the local library for help. They kindly submitted the paper work for me. Rebate SCAM on Samsung appliances

Purchased 4 qualifying major kitchen appliances(Stove, refrigerator, convection oven and dishwasher) for my new home. Applied for rebate of $456.00 after multiple inquiries; was told that my purchase didn't qualify yet ALL the model numbers were on their list of qualifying appliances. After 3 arguments, they finally agreed and apologized. Call after about 6 months of waiting, was told they mailed it to the wrong address, and that I will receive the rebate in no more than 30 days. 2-3 more months pass and I get the excuse that their rebates from November of 2019 have now been archived and it will take longer because they now have to manually search for my rebate application. Called again, same excuse. Call 1/20/21 was told they're still working on it and to call back in a couple weeks. Called today (02/01/21) again spoke with some who stated my rebate has been escalated to a "Tier 2 Team" Was speaking with Shamain of South America.... I asked for her supervisor and of course; "Clevlon" is not available, he has no contact number or extension and DOES NOT return calls. I asked if he was a real person and was reasured he was, and that you just can't talk to him. Called my local Lowes in Enterprise, AL AGAIN and spoke with "Customer Service" who acted surprised that I was speaking any anyone in SOUTH AMERICA! Gave me another number for the Lowes Rebate Dept. which I called, someone in SOUTH AMERICA answered and they hung up on me. DO NOT FALL FOR LOWES REBATE SCAMS PLEASE!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE.

This furniture was damaged before it was even boxed and then further damaged by sitting it on end (the heavy piece was not intended to be moved in that manner), and probably by a forklift which made significant damage to the bottom of the box and item inside. All of this should not have allowed this to be sold.

It would only make sense to check the contents of a crushed box before you took it. It could just as easily been damaged by dropping it off the tailgate of your pick up as well.

I want to replace a broken lamp shade on a Portfolio low voltage landscape light . Model #EL0420PBR, part # 0329384-c. I don't see any availability thru my local Lowes or online. Can Lowes replace this item or is it no longer in stock. Any suggestions?

I paid for 2 days shipping it is now 5 or 6 days later and I still haven't seen the package. And I can't get Lowe's customer service on the phone I said on hold for over half hour and then I was just hung up on.

I went to buy an item they had in stock according to their website. Could not find anyone to ask for help. Finally did, but he did not know anything about where the item was. I think most of the people working were hiding from the customers so they would not have to do anything

Extremely poor customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service at this Gaithersburg store #0223. Are there 1/2 star ratings? This is poorest of poor in my opinion. I thought Home Depot was bad. In the time it took to call to see if a particular item was in stock, so I didn't waste my time traveling for nothing which has happened many times, I wasted a total of 45 minutes dealing with idiots. I'm sure a majority of customers have experienced this scenario with both of these mega chains. I called and after a 12 minute hold was transferred to the electrical department. That was because when I called directly it rang for about 1 minute from no one working in electrical picking up, and then was transferred to the main operator. I was on hold a total of 4 times. On hold for 17 minutes, 14 minutes and 19 minutes respectively. Not only being upset of this unacceptable hold time, the lady whom answered the main line phone refused to give her name. The man whom worked that day 2/8 at 3:30pm in the Electrical department was rude, unprofessional, short and cut me off talking a number of times, and then even hung up on me after I gave him the item number, and asking when the part was going to arrive. He seemed like I was bugging him to even look up the part on the computer, preventing him from doing his job. IT'S YOUR JOB TO ASSIST THE CUSTOMER IN AN APPROVING CUSTOMER SERVICE MANNER!!!! I found out the store manager Keith Clarke was not working that day, the lady working did not tell me whom the acting manager was, nor what region they were located in. She also said that she was not required to give out her name. I found out that Ms. Betsy Pond is the Lowe's Regional District manager for this poorly run store. It seems like no one there wanted to get in trouble for the rude behavior of a store employee from electrical. I have now chosen to stop shopping at Lowe's all together and never going back to this poorly run store ever again. It's not surprising that this Gaithersburg store #0223 has so many bad reviews. Also, to note there is no public information on the Lowe's website to even find out whom to contact when something like this happens. It took awhile to find Ms. Ponds name, and i feel this should go right up the chain and reflects on not only the store manager, Keith Clarke as well, but the poor choice of employees working at this location.

Frustrating Fence Order

Placed a large $6,100 fencing order at Lowes 2766 on 12/5/20 (transaction # 8819**** or sales # S2766AP3). We were told it would be in around 4-5 weeks.

Its been almost 3 months and we still don't have the fence and cant get any real answers. 3 different people have said our order was in, while others are saying none of it is. Within a 5-minute time frame, we get totally conflicting stories, I called their corporate office, and it seems my local store never placed the order. All items are in stock at their distribution center and at other nearby stores.

I have emailed the sales rep, the manager and the assistant manager constantly and none of them have done a thing. The assistant manager keeps saying he doesn't know anything or even have an ETA - after 3 months. They could drive within a 15-mile radius and have my entire order, but they don't value me enough as a customer to do that. I suggested it and the assistant manager said it was too logistically difficult.

Its totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I just want what I paid a lot of money for.

We have been faithful Lowe's customers for years, especially since moving to Cartersville, Georgia. Today my husband and I visited Lowe's to purchase: Me, bathroom fixtures, (everything to refit the tub), shower curtain and liner, hooks, caddy and other sundries amounting to approximately between $250 and $300; my husband chose lumber in the amount of between $550 and $650, totaling approximately between $1,100 1nd $1,200. We needed the lumber delivered because we have no way to transport it, and were told by the "front manager" Alex Zeferino, that it would cost $79. It seems that Lowe's delivers appliances but not lumber, "company policy." The store manager was not present and no onw knew when she or he would be in. Dead end, because it seems that no one at Lowes, Cartersville, Georgia had either the authority, initiative or will to do more. Needless to say, we were more than disappointed - and angry, and more to my reason for writing this email, and sadly, we are now former Lowe's faithful customers. Terrible customer server

We ordered an Allen and Roth vanity, which clearly states in the description that the mirrors were included. When we picked up the vanity at the store, we questioned the fact that the mirrors were in the box, but we assured that they were, even though not listed.

Upon getting home and opening the box, lo and behold, no mirrors. We called the store customer services and were told that we would need to come back in. The next day we go back to the store, only to be told that due to the manufacturer being closed, this was a Sunday, that they would have to wait until Monday to contact the manufacturer, and then call me back. Wait until 5pm on Monday and still no call from Lowes, so we call them.

I get the same customer service rep, who verified my order details again, says that she has to talk to the manager and will call me back. We are then told that we will need to call the manufacturer directly to resolve through them, and are given a number, although for the wrong department. After getting the correct number, and a short 5 minute phone call, I am told by the manufacturer, Allen and Roth, that the issues needs to be resolved through Lowes, as they are the reseller. Call Lowes store back and talk directly with the store manager, who then tells me that the manufacturer is wrong, and then goes in to the inconvenience that he will have to go through to contact Allen and Roth to try to get this resolved, and proceeds to tell me that he will call me back in a few days, which I tell him is not acceptable.

I then call Lowes main customer service line. The service rep that answers looks at my order and agrees that I should have received the mirrors. She also tells me how lucky I am to have reached her 5 minute before they close and then goes on to explain how the repair department would be the ones who resolve these types of issues and transfers me. Once on the line with the repair dept, they are quick to tell me that they only handle warranty work, and this type of issue is handles by their customer service dept, which is the same dept that just transferred me to repair.

and of course by this point, that dept has closed for the day. She tells me that, since I am so frustrated, I should just return the vanity.

When I explain to her the weight and trouble it would be to return it to the store, she then tells me that if I complain enough they would more than likely send someone to pick it up... So Lowes would rather spend their money sending a truck and 2 workers to my house to pick up the vanity and lose the sale and a customer, than to just send $250 worth or mirrors that were supposed to be included in the order in the first place.
