What was the product? Was it something they stock or something they had to custom order for you?

How long did you have the product before you tried to return it?

What condition was the product in? There are a lot of reasons they wouldn't take a product back but your complaint has no detail to support your feeling they were wrong in not taking it back.

Unable to speak to any human at lowes

Ive tried ascertaining if lawn supplies were deliverable (excess of $250 order) and couldnt get anyone from any department to answer the phone at their Ocala Florida store, during normal business hours (3:30 pm). Then tried getting someone to answer the phone at the National customer service number and after 45 minutes on hold still couldnt get anyone to answer. If you dont want any business, why not just shut down your stores during this trying period??? Arthur J

The stores that are open are there for customers to come in and purchase essential materials to maintain their home and are operating with a reduced staff. You should be able to go to the store for a new water heater, products to fix a broken toilet etc., but gardening supplies aren't quite essential items.

The virus is causing delivery delays everywhere. Even Amazon is saying products that are normally delivered in 2 days may be delayed. My UPS driver said it's worse than the Christmas rush for them.

Return Policy During Stay-At-Home Order

I wanted to return two new in the package items with my receipt but our state has a Stay-At-Home Order. I called to ask if I could return once we were allowed to leave home since a return is "non-essential" and I was told NO! If I wanted to return them I needed to come in within the 90 days and it doesn't matter what state our country is in. WOW!!!!!

I bought them at the end of December. When our contractor finished the windows about 2 months later, we went to put them in but they are the wrong size. I am 4 days out of the return window so thought Lowe's would be flexible since we aren't able to go out.

Lowest of the Low! I guess that’s why it’s Lowe’s.

In the middle of a pandemic, Lowes is actively trying to drive traffic to their stores. Spring advertisements, TV commercials and pushing and pushing of non-essential items. I saw a Lowes garden area just packed with people two days ago. People out buying mulch and lawn fertilizer. Why is Lowes even selling non-essential items? Other big stores are blocking those items off in their stores. Lowes not even limiting number of customers until state authorities make them and then only on the stores specifically cited. All in the name of beating Home Depot. Staying open specifically one hour later than Home Depot just to get that traffic. I cant even stomach it. Corporate Lowes cares nothing for customers or its own employees. No strong leadership at all. Just trying to make this an economic opportunity for themselves. Does Corporate Lowes even care how this looks? If I ever had trouble deciding which was better, Home Depot or Lowes I can certainly see the better choice now. Corporate Lowes should be downright ashamed.

Many times these ads are purchased and printed weeks or months in advance and can't be stopped on a moments notice.

Order never Received

Ordered a GE Air conditioner with heat and air on November 11 2019 delivery date December 12 2019 GE moved the date to January 2020 moved it again to February 2020 it we cancelled re ordered it was due in March now were in April the store manager dont want to be bothered no more because GE cant even say now when so they cancelled the order completely the problem the put my money on Lowes In store card they cant get nothing so therefore Im stuck with a card I cant do anything with I need my air conditioner Ive. Been waiting for since December 2019 the managers tried its GE and Lowes corporate wouldnt find a better solution for my situation

No matter what the promotional offer DO NOT APPLY FOR A LOWE'S CREDIT CARD!!! I opened a Lowe's CC because it offered a low APR, bought thousands $$$$ in home appliances as well as a new roof, made every single payment on time and well above the Min/monthly requirement, but then when my balance was down to just under $1500.00 I was charged an interest fee of $1300.00 That's right $1300.0 0!!! The promotional APR ended and LOWE'S retroactively applied interest beginning from day 1 to two earlier charges of roughly $2000.00. DON'T BE A FOOL like me and NEVER APPLY FOR LOWE'S CREDIT. The Credit Card customer service was extremely unprofessional, indifferent, and unwilling to entertain any type of resolution. I immediately paid off the CC and closed the account. I will NEVER SHOP AT LOWE'S AGAIN.

Obviously!! My warning to consumers is to not be lured in by promotional offers. As big as LOWE'S is they really don't need to prey on their consumers.

Very bad service

We were waiting there for 1 hour and 45 mins to make a order for 4 french doorsThey called the manager couple times and never came to help me for my order and im still waiting up to this point . Im really upset with the manager the employers there didn’t help much either. This happened on april 6,2020. call me at 323 455 ****

Are 4 French doors an essential item you need to be in a store purchasing? Stores that are open are working with skeleton crews and you can expect delays. Wait till the virus dies down to place your order.

Not happy feel I was ripped off

I had the reimbursement plan and had never used the warranty I called before it had expired and they lost all the information and never sent out a check and now they're saying I'm too late I was ripped off I called on January 24th and talk to Karen two weeks in advance

Todays experience

Bought a 2650.00 dollar zero turn mower today thw john deer Z335E to be exact bought it online and got an email saying it was ready for pick up I went into the atore today to pick it up and it turns out they sold my mower that id already boight to someone else....i run an on the aide lawn care business and bc of this *** today ive gotten 5 calls of clients who r upset abput thwir lawns not getting done and having already paid for the lawn care... Of course I gave them full refund but 4 of the 5 clients have decided bc of this lack of lawn care today at their promised time. Thwy r no longwr in need of my services.......and lowes couldnt do a thing about it...now I have to wait 3 days for a new stock of the mowers i bought to come back into atore in order to get the one i was spose to pick up today but oh yeah ......thwy sold mine to someone else will nwvwr shop their again...so pissed beyond pissed actually......if u could rate them zero atars for evwryrhing i would but thwy dont allow the true ratings to be posted so I have no choice but to give them 1 star for each area

On the sales slip it say to update your profile. I went to the site can can't find where to update it. I was also disappointed that sale items were not getting a vet discount.

It would be great if vets quit complaining about how they don't think the policies have for discounts is fair and appreciate the stores that are offering some kind of discount. I bet police officers, firefighters, doctors nurses, teachers etc. would enjoy getting the discounts vets complain about.

I need a washing machine that works.

I bought a Maytag washer on Feb. 8th 2020. After 1 1/2 months it quit working on every cycle except one, the quick wash cycle. I called Lowe's and they won't let me return it and they won't tell me how I can get it fixed. What the *** do I do?

Shut Lowes Down!! Breeding ground for COVID-19. There is a Global pandemic of COVID-19. You are not protecting your employees. No gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, social distancing, etc. Your website says you are providing gloves and masks. Public is not seeing masks or gloves being worn, as pictures are being posted. How many employees will be infected for the sake of Lowes all mighty dollar? Corp. advertised a "Spring Black Friday Sale" in the middle or a pandemic. These are NOT essential items. You are putting thousands of lives at risk!! Governor, Mayor, Police Dept. and news stations are being contacted. Pictures of crowds at Lowes are being posted on social media. Lowes needs to be held accountable and their "essential business" status revoked.

You guys are beyond despicable. We are in the middle of a pandemic and you run a huge door buster sale. I feel so bad for your employees. As well as anyone who shops there. Stop worrying about your shareholders and do the right thing. I used to hate home depot, but they are at least limiting customers at one tine. I think thats where we will be taking are future business. We just bought a house that needs alot of work. I would rather give my business to someone who cares about its employees and general public

If you really wanted to help you'd shut down the store so people have no place to congregate and take only online and phone orders for critical items, just like other retailers are doing. Not ALL items in ALL departments at Lowes are life sustaining. STOP creating a situation for the people who cannot fing understand what a 100 year event..a Pandemic means.

It does not mean go to the home improvement store and hang out. Plesse put public health and safety and that of your employees before profit.
