Lowes - Lowe's slogan- "We never deliver"

There is third attempt to deliver range stove by Lowe's delivery team. Two previous Saturdays they scheduled time and did not deliver. We assigned delivery again for today (Saturday 4/14/2018). I called them yesterday but they still did not call me back to schedule a time. I am going to cancel order in Sunnyvale Lowe's. I do not remember so bad service. We should buy the range stove in another company. {{redacted}}

Today was supposed to be my rescheduled delivery on my range as they bungled up the original delivery of last Wednesday. Didn't hear anything from them today and they didn't show so I called and was told that the range I ordered 3 weeks ago still wasn't in.

Rescheduled for next week with no guarantees. Horrible service

We ordered a range TWO months ago and it finally came in Friday. Arrange for delivery today.

Receive a phone call today that it is badly damaged and do we still want it. Of course not, but I am forced to go to the store ( as no one will call me back) and wait over 30 minutes with customer service to be told it will be another three weeks.

Or get the floor model from another store. Would cancel the order but we got a matching suite ( the other items delivered last week) and want that one.

Lowes in Harper Woods, Michigan - Rebate Scam

Purchased a new kitchen at almost $20K. Was told that we needed to make the purchase that day to qualify for a 10% gift card which would be issued in 2-4 weeks, prior to the install. After waiting for 3 weeks, I called the Rebate Center to be told 6-8 weeks. I complained and stated I had documentation stating otherwise. After speaking to Omar, a supervisor, my status went from pending to non-compliant, there reason, I used invoice numbers from the same receipt and that they needed an actual copy of the 5 page long receipt. I've sent it to them but they have yet to receive the fax and state that my time is now 10-12 weeks before, if I ever do, receive the rebate. They could not provide a single ounce of reason for why this was delayed. Corporate has been useless. My sales person does not return my calls and seems to always be out. My corporate coordinator is also unavailable. We made this purchase due to the rebate promised as it was going to be used to cover expenses prior to the install. Lowe's does not care about customer service, and the only thing offered was for me to cancel the order, losing a good chunk of money I already paid. Scam, scam, scam. Avoid Lowes at all cost. You have been warned!

I was also scammed by Lowe's in a similar manner. I purchased three large appliances based on a promise of $100 rebate.

I submitted the rebate form and proper documentation. Trying to get Lowe's to honor the rebate has been a Kafka-esque nightmare.

I purchased an LG kitchen appliance bundle from Lowe's in July. I was told I would get a $200 Lowe's gift card and also a rebate from LG.

When I was checking out, the salesperson gave me a "rebate" receipt in addition to my normal receipt. She said I could apply for my Lowe's gift card right away, but would have to wait until I received my appliances before I could submit the LG rebate (LG requires the appliance serial numbers). I applied for the Lowe's gift card online and it went smoothly. I received an email containing the gift card within a week.

Today I worked on my LG rebate and before sending it in, I read in very small print that my appliance purchase qualified for the rebate, but because I bought it at Lowe's, Lowe's would take care of the rebate at time of purchase. Today I talked to LG rebate people, Lowe's rebate people and an appliance salesperson from Lowe's. I have spent several hours on this only to find that I will not get the LG rebate as promised. LG said Lowe's should take care of it; Lowe's said they only process their own rebates and had no idea what I was talking about; the salesperson said they didn't give them good information on rebates and he could never keep them straight.

He had no idea what I was talking about. If you are buying appliances from Lowe's expecting rebates, be sure to check the small print. Oh, and I should mention that on the day of delivery, they couldn't find my microwave.

It was there the day before, but apparently it was sold or given to another person with their delivery, so it will be another month before I receive my microwave. Disappointing mess...

We just ordered a door on Monday and are waiting for the guy to come and do measurements and it been 3 day's and we have not heard anything I tried to call but, no body seems to know what's going on...How long are people suppose to wait after they pay the fee for measurement storm door instillation.

Lowes - Still waiting 12 weeks later.

Got bids from Home Depot and Lowe's for windows. Chose Lowe's as it was a better price for similar window (both recommended by Consumer Reports.). Spent $15,000. Salesman said "Good news! You'll get a THOUSAND DOLLAR REBATE". Now, he already had the business so this was a great deal. Could use it for the new blinds I needed after the windows were installed. Red flag, though, he said he would do ALL the paperwork. What a deal. Rebate would take 4-6 weeks. Signed contract on January 15th. Well, windows are installed, $2000 in blinds were ordered because we need them, rebate was "delayed", but I could always use the $1000 for something else, right? So I've called him twice, emailed him 4 times, once per week since the "delay". He answered the phone the first time and said he'd look into it "that day". That was March 4th. No response to phone or email since then. I have no info to use to call the rebate center with. My last email says "just *** tell me there is no rebate so I can stop thinking I have $1000 for a future project. If I can't get the money can I at least get some HONESTY?" Still waiting on a reply.

I purchased 40 volt lawn last spring for a project this spring ( new Lawn ) only to find out it takes two 40 volt 4 amp. batteries to make the mover work ... in the box this spring I find One 40 volt 4 amp battery and one 40 volt 2 amp. battery, these batteries fit the same holes as two 4 amp batteries do but should not run together as one will always be pulling more power than the other. still the mower works. so I drive over to the lowes store to buy a new 4 amp battery, only to find out they had changed the batteries to one 80 volt, that does not fit my 40 volt and the 40 volt batteries are very special order. they now cost more than the new mover did last spring All this after, I asked the simple question, last spring, " are they going to change batteries any time soon" directly to the salesman and he said , " NO THEY WONT BE CHANGING BATTERIES AT ALL " ( by the way their competitors did the same thing this last fall. ) must be a customer thing...

Lowes in Gilford, New Hampshire - Worse Experience Ever!!!

We purchased a generator and install from Lowes. They came out to our place and looked at everything before we signed the contract and paid for it. They told us where the generator would go and that it should cost around $300 for the install from the gas company to hook it up. They said that they knew how to do it but couldn't because of regulations. Once the generator was delivered, they were going to put it on the other side of our townhouse by our neighbors, but then finally contacted the fire department to see where to put it. It was nowhere near where they'd told us it would be. Then when we contacted the gas company to hook it up, the bill was going to be for over $3000. The local store couldn't do anything since it was the project department that did the install. We want a full refund and they refuse to give it to us saying they fulfilled their part of the contract. The people who can make a decision on this wouldn't listen to us, were extremely arrogant, and didn't call back. They only way we heard anything was because the local store kept contacting them. They'll do the uninstall, but won't refund us for anything else. They sold us a contract without fully giving us the all the information. We're out over $3500 and they don't care about integrity or customer satisfaction. I will never shop at a Lowes again!!!

1/16/2018 order siding, gutters and a new exterior door. Siding has been a nightmare. It's not a good job at all. I was told that new homes were easy but old homes like ours was too hard and not worth it. Brand new flood light was shorted out. Not sure if he shorted out the light itself or in the wall. The outside electrical outlet he said was too big and they couldn't wrap it. There are a couple of areas that do not match properly. But the worse part is that the installers have destroyed the metal runners for 4 of my windows. I now have water leaking into the walls when it rains. We have been told these were going to be fixed. They do not call us to set up time to come out. We find out by calling Lowes. So we sit home waiting and they never show. Today was one of those days. I called again and they said the installer will be out to fix my windows on Saturday. I informed them they need to be calling us. We have plans out of town this Saturday that can not be broken. On top of this. The door that was also ordered. Here it is 4/11/2018 and our door is still not installed. Almost three weeks ago they finally after many calls, brought my door out. It didn't fit. So was suppose to reorder it. I found out just this past monday because no one had called with a date to install the door. They had never reordered it. So now it's suppose to be in 4/16/2018. Then they would set up a time to come and install. Over three months to get one exterior door installed. My advice to anyone thinking about using Lowes for any projects. DO NOT DO IT. PS: Lowes Home Office and customer service personal are really good at saying they have never gotten any calls from me about problems that we are having. Below are just a few of the pictures I have. Seems that I had too many pictures to upload others.

Purchased refrigerator on March 3, 2018. It is not cooling....had so much food spoilage..can only get refund for spoilage if i provide receipt for purchases. Who keeps their supermarket bills. Called WHIRLPOOL HEADQUARTERS...very rude customer service, and only because i purchased the warranty i am getting repairs done for a $1400 appliance not a replacement. WHY!!! WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE AGAIN. Buyer beware.

We have a very similiar model Whirlpool with similiar problems. Have to keep on coldest setting to keep get temp tp 41. Several service calls, ended up buying extended warranty after 4 repair calls in 1st 3 months.

The warranty covers repair, not replacement, thats why. Have you ever bought a car?

They don't give you a new car if the transmission fails a month after you bought it, they repair it. You will find the warranties on most expensive products covers repair, not replacement.
