Lowes in Norwalk, Connecticut - Head Cashier Made her Goal to upset the customer

Start with I love Lowes Product, however not the last customer service encounter. I purchased an expensive shower door, which went on sale few weeks later. As a policy for the price match I provided my purchase receipt for the refund, which Head Cashier took as personal insult. She made her business do anything possible to NOT refund the difference. She lied about 7 days policy, until I asked for the manager, who confirmed the opposite. Then she made another cashier walk all the way to another end of the store to make sure that my picture of the new price ( that I took few minutes ago to help with the proof) was not "made up". She was very rude, unapologetic when realized that all is legit and she has to do the refund. Even her colleagues had raised eyebrows just from hearing how she was talking to me. Unnecessary rudeness does not translate into more customers and good face of the business. The store is in Latham NY, Head Cashier's name is Kim. Stay away from HER.

Lowes - Appliance installation and Black Friday savings

On November 27, 2017. I went to Lowes store #140 to order a cooktop and range hood. After suggesting a different cooktop a guy name Manish took the order. I waited a week for the 1st installer to call only to find that they would not come on Mondays or after 3 pm. I went to #140 to ask for a new installer and waited another week for them to call. After speaking with the 2nd installer we determine that they could not make it before Christmas. We settled on Jan 8th, 2018. The installer came out measured the area. I waited two weeks before going out to store #140. They did not have the order for the cooktop but the installer did. I spoke with two people as to why they did not have the order, No explanation but they only offered me 10% off the order not the Black Friday order. The cooktop arrived 2 weeks later and was damaged. I had to wait another 2 weeks for another on to arrive. On the 1st of March, I received a call from the 1st installer trying to arrange a time for measuement. I got so mad I spiked my cell phone. I went to store #140 to talk to someone and spoke with the assistant manager. He told me that he would take care of things. He called later and told me that I would have to use the 1st installer. Monday the 6th the 2nd installer called and they came out to install the cooktop and hood on the 8th of March. The was installed only to find gaps between the counter and cooktop. I spoke with a person at store 140 and sent them photos of the cooktop. Since then nothing. You think Lowes would do something to make my ORDEAL less of an Ordeal. Nothing.

You didn't have an account with Lowes, how could they cancel it? Take a look at your credit agreement or your monthly bill and you will find your account is with an independent credit company, not Lowes.

This will be true of the account you open at Home Depot as well. They don't close your account for no reason at all.

You may have paid the minimum payments required but you may have opened other accounts and increased your debt load more than they are comfortable with or missed payments on other accounts. Credit companies check your credit ratings from time to time and may offer credit increases, decreases or even close your account based on your current ratings.

Lowes - Lowe’s poor customer service is a national problem!!

Loganville, Ga Jan 2018-Cancelled fridge because it was back ordered 2x. Snellville,Ga Mar 18-can’t find anyone that knows product. Monroe,NC: Apr 7,18- flooring unaware of carpet promo. Cashier rang up order 3x, chrg card 3x. It took 2 hrs to resolve. Short changed on materials. Tried to do will call. Disaster!!!Everyone at these locations untrained. Understaffed and undertrained. Not designed for someone with lots of projects.

DONOT have Lowes install carpet or flooring ! !

! NOTHINGNEVER have Lowes install anything ! ! !Lowes has absolutely NO control over their subcontractors.I learned the hard way that you should NEVER pay for the complete job to include the labor before the job is done.

Lowes gets your money and then you have to fight to get the job completed correctly.Hire a local company to do the work and then you only pay when the job is complete .At Lowes you pay for the whole job labor and all and then have no recourse if the subcontractor does not complete the job correctly.Your screwed unless the contractor comes back, as Lowes cannot make them do anything.NEVER have Lowes install anything ! !

Promised delivery on the 1st, never called and never showed, when we called they said 7 more days. Got my money back and they didn't even care. Bought washer at home depot and got it 3 days later. Lowes will be the next big box going bankrupt!

Why are you complaining about Lowes? Just like any other retail store they have an independent credit company that issues a card to be used in their store.

They have nothing to do with the policies or the amount of credit you are offered by the credit company. You should be complaining about the credit company, not Lowes.

Our lowes store is a total mess if you place an online order. We ordered an upright freezer last month. We received a delivery date and everything. The day came and we got no delivery. i called the next day and they had no record of our order. Turns out they cancelled our order because they said they were out of stock and never notified us. All they do on the phone is give you the run around. It took me going to the store to get it resolved. Because i didnt learn the first time two weeks ago we placed another online order for an area rug. It was supposed to be at the store for pickup on April 3. Well i called about it and they told me they don't know where it is. They deal with a third party distributor and they can't track the order i placed 2 weeks ago. They have no clue where it is or when it would even get here. So i ended up cancelling this order and I'll go elsewhere. I called the customer service line at corporate tonight. The man i talked to was very arrogant which just ticked me off more. I said well because of your stores incompetence you just lost a sale and all future business from us. His reply was ok we wont miss your business we have plenty of customers. Really thats a great way to treat a now former customer.

Ditto. But we were “lucky” enough to get a loaner washer.

It wouldn’t drain, so I diagnosed it based on error codes and past problem reviews with this particular brand. You would not believe what I found in the drain filter/coin trap....going to use the documentation as high and as viral as it takes.....a picture speaks a thousand words.

If you are going to pick a product up at a store go to the store and order it. That way the order will be in the stores records.

When you order products on-line the order is in a separate system.

They don't always talk well with each other. Not just Lowes, but pretty much the same at other stores as well.

The girl working at customer service was rude and she even curse me because she thought I would not understand because of English. Her coworkers heard her and they supported her and they all turned against me til the manager came and told her to return my item. I purchased some 400 pieces of bricks on sale, I picked up 200 and said I will come back later. The lady at check out was like it is cool just give them your phone number that is all. I was like are you sure don’t I need a special receipt or confirmation number. She was like no we do this all the time. So I left when I came back to do so. She acted like I am lying and said they have to check the camera and everything I was like okay. Let is do that. Then she throw the receipt at me and said wait till the manager comes. The she look at the coworker said look at this clown. I return and said what did you say to me? She was like nothing. But the coworker and her were giggling.

Go to the main Lowe's website---do a search for it---and complain about this location to corporate. The girls at customer service probably thought from you appearance/dress that you were just some itinerant guy from who-knows-where who couldn't speak English.

They need to be reprimanded, but corporate Lowe's needs to know what is going on at this store. I know how you feel---back when I was a shepherd working with sheep, some people thought I was just some dump goat-herder who was dressed oddly and spoke "differently."

Why does Pissed consumer allow these short text message complaints? They require you type 50 words to respond.

The complaints should be required to provide some basic information as to what caused the problem in the first place. This person probably ordered a product made in another country that just takes a lot of time to get here for all we know.

Lowes in Southwest Ranches, Florida - Store 0725

Nelson one of the managers there is rudest man I’ve ever met! He works around with an angry face all day sucking out the positive energy out of people. He doesn’t greet anyone! Very unfriendly! Multiple times I’ve walked by him and said hello and he walks past you with an ugly face. Please stay away from this grumpy old man.
