Lowes in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Employee poor quality of service

I am a delivery driver and this is the worst service that i ever experienced from any company in my life.From in store employees etc..But i assume that their corperate office dosent know anything about their employee service. How do the store make any money when you have a hard time trying to get anyone to take it off the truck. Lowes stores employees a bunch of lazy people .I say its time to start cutting again.

Lowes - In store searching for simple item 6 employees couldn't find

Simply looking for a roll of caulking. 1 employee even looked it up only to say "hum, doesn't show where it's at! " I'm sure this means nothing given Lowes is large chain store and what difference is my little complaint going to make but, it sure is disappointing you all have gotten to this point. Used to be so great?

You are lucky they couldn't find it for you. Just look at the reviews on their web site.

It won't last. It either peels off or shrinks.

Just get a tube of caulk and a gun and get the job done right. It may take a little longer but at least you won't have to do it over.

Lowes - Lowe's doesnt give a crap

We will NEVER step foot in Derby Lowes again. Bought a outside garden hose and a nozzle. The nozzle welded itself to the screw in part of the hose and to the house faucet. Thankfully it did not break indoor connection.Took it back and the manager informed my husband it was our problem and grabbed it out of his hand. My husband grabbed it back. Unbelievable.

I have been trying to get them to replace 2 faulty doors, but they refuse to do anything more. They won’t return my phone calls. The doors were shown to them and the rep at the time of install last year and we are still fighting with them. I will never buy another cabinet from Lowe’s or Kraft Maid.

How old are the cabinets? You have to realize that the cabinets are made of wood, not plastic.

One of the properties of wood is that it will expand and contract with variations of temperature and humidity. Not all pieces will react the same.

This is why you will see movement in the joints and panels of cabinets doors as seasons change. This is not a defect but something that can naturally happen with wood.

Have you contacted Kraft Maid directly? Most manufacturers would replace a couple of doors like this on a new order. If you haven't contacted Kraft Maid directly google Kraft Maid customer service for their phone number.

Got a free measurement at Lowe’s shortly after Xmas. Was told 910 ft. Went to local carpet store and was quoted at 760 ft. My own measurement with 10% waste was 750 ft- for what it is worth. Beware, this I how Lowesmakes up for their “less expensive” prices

Their measurement for my home was very close to what I had expected. When it came time for installation the installers reviewed the measurements and determined due to the cuts required they would run short in the stairs.

Lowes ordered the additional carpet required at their expense. Seems like an honest company to me.

Had Kitchen Remodeled, Popcorn Ceiling Taken Off In Living Room & Kitchen. Went To Lowes In 2016, Late May Talked To Salesman For Complete Kitchen Remodel, Had Waited For Him To Start & Finish His Home Advisor Schooling. Signed Contract In Dec 2016,Was Suppose to start In Jan 2017 The 3rd and Completed The 6th . Did Not Start until Late Jan. Of Us Today Feb 18, 2018 Still Not Completed Right, Paid 33,000 For This Job, Bought Appliances From Another Company For 4,000. Told This Would Be A Dream Kitchen, Home Advisor Did A Poor Job Into Designing My Kitchen, Wanted More Cabinet Space Got Less. Ceiling Was A Really Poor Job Of Painting, Blotches All Over. Cabinets Kraft Maid Had Flaws On Most Of The Doors And So Much More Done Poorly. Called Corporate Center Twice, They Returned Call And Said Someone From Lowes Would Be Over To Take Pictures And Fix What Ever Was Not Done Right. Lowes Had Three Different People To Come And Do Such. Said They Would Jump On This Right Away. Home Advisor Has Never Did A Final review Or Apologise For The Job That Was Done So Bad. Last Designer was Suppose To Come Over The 5th of Feb And Fix Things That Were Not done Right, Still as Of Today No One Appeared! Do Not Go To Lowes For Any Improvement, If You Do Think A 33,000 Kitchen Will Be Out Of this World, Come See My Kitchen Or I Do Have Pictures!

Lowes - If you see "STEVE DARLING" RUN IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION (or request for someone different)

I had Steve Darling as my examiner. The WORST experience ever. On top of being rude, short, not answer any of my questions directly, he had the nerve to ignore some of my emails. He absolutely NEVER answered any of my phone calls and makes me never EVER want to shop at Lowes again. Just for the mere fact that if a Lowes employee were to damage my car in the future, I want to lessen my chances of ever communicating with STEVE DARLING. I even asked to change my examiner, and he still ignored my request. My case is still not resolved by the way, it's been several weeks. One time I even had to ask him politely not to reply back in a short sentence, he replied back in two sentences instead. Another time I asked for a yes or no answer from a very straight forward question and asked him to reply "yes or no" and he still couldn't even do that. I am SHOCKED with the quality of care from a management department. At the very least he can take out the Lowe's slogan in his signature block that states "Never Stop IMPROVING" because he clearly has no motive to improve. Sorry Lowes, Home Depot from now on. All thanks to Steve.

LOWES WON'T ALLOW RETURN OF TILE WITHOUT A RECEIPT

I bought 3 boxes of bullnose tiles for a bathroom project. I changed my mind about using bullnose tiles and decided to use extruded trim instead. Tried to return the tiles without a receipt because I can't find it. Lowes will not accept the return - won't even give me store credit for them. I emailed their refunds account: refunds@lowes.com and got no satisfaction from them either. No reason other than: "we require a receipt for return of that item." The boxes are pristine and the tiles are not used or broken. So, I'm out $60 and am very unhappy.

I was told the cabnets i purchased were eligible for the 10% rebate now the rebate center has giving me the run around for 2 months now and no rebate this is not ethical it is almost a thousand dollars this is not peanuts for me

I have the same issue with the purchase of cabinets-I applied for the rebate via the website, once the store's department head sent it in, I sent it in via fax at the request of the rebate center and now was told to send it in via snail mail. I will be sure to tell all my friends to avoid Lowes if considering a purchase with a rebate.
