Lowes in Hazard, Kentucky - APPLIANCES USED.

In the past five years, I have purchased several items from the Lowe’s in Hazard, KY. I had always heard that Lowe’s is great for buying appliances. Boy, was I ever wrong. I purchased a dishwasher a few years ago and purchased an extended warranty plan. Ever since I had the dishwasher installed, the agitator or water dispenser has failed to stay connected to the dishwasher. I had several repairmen replace this item five different times. Finally, I resolved myself to the fact that this dishwasher was a piece of junk. When I contacted Lowe’s about this, they informed me that I was not on their records as having purchased an extended warranty. Luckily, I found my receipt showing the purchase. They still would not replace my dishwasher. I went back to Lowe’s because they are the only business in my town that sells appliances. When the men arrived to install my new dishwasher, they asked me how long I had this dishwasher. I told them five years. They informed me that my dishwasher was at least ten years old and that this model was not produced and sold anymore. They went on to tell me that when they remove an appliance from your property; which they charge the customer for, they are taken to the back of the store, cleaned up, repainted and sold as new appliances. That is why they are so anxious to take away old appliances. This was a practice that I have never heard of before. The Better Business Bureau should and will, be notified of this matter. By the way, if Lowe’s tries to deny any of this, I have a credible witness who heard the entire conversation and will reintegrate all these events if need be.

Lowes - Lowe's of Barbourville, WV is not safe for customers

The Lowe's here has no security on Sunday's (when the store is full). On January 7, 2018, a very drunk man (probably high as well) charged to the front of the check out line and declared that he had waited long enough. He threatened me, my wife and several others who he had cut in front of. He was dirty and smelly and got right into my face. He pushed me back and indicated that he possessed a gun. So, as good luck would have it, the manager-on-duty was operating one of the registers. He said nothing to the drunken idiot and he didn't call the police or other managers for help. But he did choose to allow the drunk to check out first. I contacted the GM of the Barboursville, WV Lowe's and received a call from an underling telling me they were sorry I had to wait in line too long. Nothing was said about every customer in the store having their life put at risk by the inaction of the store management. I am certain that the Barboursville Lowe's is NOT SAFE FOR CUSTOMERS.

If you want money so bad get it out of the guy who pushed his way past. The store and employees are just as much of a victim as you think you are.

Now you seek to punish the business for something they had no control or liability on. Drag your mind and morals out of the hollow there Hill billy. Just be happy the business chose to handle the situation as they did. Had they attempted to intervene then that crazy could have done something really wrong.

But low brow mouthbreathers like yourself can never see the forest for the tree your illegal deer stand sits in......

Lowes in Spring Hill, Florida - Horrible customer service

We ordered almost 4,000 in appliances from our local PCB Lowe’s. They have been paid for for two weeks, almost three. We were told everything was in stock. Well, three weeks later nothing has arrivied. They told me they would make an emergency delivery today. It’s after 2pm and nothing yet. When you call the store you never get anyone on the phone. If you do get to talk to someone you get four stories and nothings true. I will never ever no business with Lowe’s ever again. Please take my advice and shop local. I will never buy from a big box store again.

Lowes - 6 months interest free SCAM- Is a class action law suit needed?

Billing statement does NOT indicate what needs to be paid each month to avoid interest charges. It is NOT the stated MINIMUM balance on the statement. It is NOT stated anywhere on the bill that CURRENT purchases need to be paid each month like a regular credit card. THERE IS NO LINE ITEM FOR THIS. You have to review each purchase and FIGURE OUT which one was the promotion and which is not for each bill cycle. I only know this by reviewing each bill with customer(?)service. When I realized how duplicitous this is (after reviewing my second bill into using the promotion), I wanted them to convert the purchases (which were still in the normal first month credit cycle) to the 5% cash back and pay in full. Of course that was "impossible". How many have unwittingly been caught by this and paid interest on non promotional purchases? Financial fraud?

I don't know where to start with you.

6 Months Same As Cash means Pay It ALL off In 6 Months are you will be hit with interest charges.

If you don't want to pay it all on one day, do the simple math and break the payments down as you see fit as long as you're done before the 6 months are up.

Of course that was "impossible".

This isn't to benefit you or anyone else who can't be bothered to read the terms of what they signed. This is to benefit a bank. Pro-Tip: Sounds like you're a little clueless at best or trying to get over at worst.

Do not buy anything you can't put cash on the counter for and you'll do just fine. LOL at class action lawsuit, the rallying call of the dead beat who doesn't want to pay their bills and wants something for little to nothing.

Lowes Flooring Installation

I had laminate floors put in 10 months ago. One of the boards broke and overlapped another board. My son cut his foot on it walking through the house, and I called to have Service Pro's (Lowes installation provider) come look at it so we can have it replaced. The gentleman from Service Pro's puts a meter in my subfloor to detect moisture, and finds none. It read 4.7, which he said is normal. He got in my crawl space to look for moisture damage, and finds none. He tells me that the installer will be in touch with me to come replace the broken board of about 15 feet. I got a call today from Lowes saying that they will not be replacing my floors because of suspected moisture damage. That's the exact opposite of what I was told Monday. The installer never came and looked at them. The only pictures they even have are where flooring meets the wall, and where the flooring is broken. From those pictures alone, he apparently determined that moisture caused all of this. Not his 3 hour *** job on my floors. Real nice.

Lowes - VERY BAD RESULTS THAT WILL PROBABLY GO TO COURT!!!!!

I contracted with the LOWES in Somerset Pa. The contract was to install laminate flooring in several rooms in my vacant house. This contract was in late August 2015. The installer did not install until late October of that year. He supposedly considered himself one of the best!!! I could not be there to observe. I had to return to business & to sell my house in Florida. The installer was instructed to cut the laminate flooring outside on the deck. The installer took advantage of this situation and did what he pleased. The result of this installation was a mess. He concealed the sawdust & did not prepare the flooring properly by cleaning it. He installed the laminate flooring on top of the debris & Lowes did not send anyone to check the work. However, no one could possibly know what he did unless someone was observing. I was not able to move into my house until March 3, 2017. As soon as my wife and myself moved in we noticed a separation in the laminate flooring and sawdust coming up all over. We immediately contacted the representative who sold us this flooring. He witnessed the problem and took photos of this problem. The separation of the flooring was reluctantly repaired by the same installer, nothing was done about the sawdust. We thought that in time this problem would resolve itself. No such thing. We have been cleaning sawdust everyday that comes up from these boards at least twice a day!! We finally complained to Lowes in December 2017. They sent a contractor to assess the situation and it was concluded there is a mess underneath. Subsequently, Lowes from it's Central Production Office in Indiana has refused or denied my claim on the grounds there was only a one year warranty on labor. They are not even willing to negotiate to resolve this problem. They are in the wrong! I could not have know about this sawdust until we moved into the house. There is a discovery and concealment issue on the part of the installer. Lowes is not willing to pursue the issue with the installer and Lowes does not even contract with him anymore. My contract with Lowes was to have a quality workmanship and not the disaster we are encountering. After being a long consumer with Lowes and spending a lot money I will not ever again spend a dime with them again. If it warrants I will pursue this in a court of law, win, lose or draw. The only thing we wanted from Lowes was to correct this problem by removing the laminate and cleaning the mess underneath. Lowes guide yourself accordingly !!!!!

I ordered a dishwasher,which was not in stock.the day before the install I had to call to see what time they were coming.i thought they should of called me.so the woman said 10am-1pm.well at 1:15 in the delivery day NOBODY.So I called to see where the guy was,they tried calling the install company,& they couldn't even get a hold of the installer.they left him a message & an email.i called back at 2:15.the company still couldn't get a hold of the installer.i told them to cancel the order & went down to the store & picked up my money. I was gonna work with them & asked if they could take off the $139 for the delivery & install.they said No.

Lowes in Avondale, Pennsylvania - Issues with LG Washer

I purchased an LG front load washer that did not drain all of the water at the end of the wash so Lowe's replaced it as it was within 30 days. The contractor delivered the new washer but evidently did not connect something correctly because water poured from the back of the washer flooding my laundry area. I called Lowe's and they aid they would have someone there the next day that they would call that evening to give me the two hour time frame for the next day. I did not receive the evening call but got one the next morning at 9:30am saying the person had vehicle trouble but they would call to give a definite time. No call by 2 so I called them. They said that they would be there between 3 and 5pm. No show or call so I called them at 6. They said that since this was an add-on I would be their last call by 8. No one showed up or called again so I called the next day. The next day I called the store and spoke with a manager. He said he would check with their contractor and give me a call back. Well, I did not get a call back from the manager so I called him again. Basically, I keep getting times when they are supposed show up show up and they just don't show or call and I still can't use my new washer. I'm pissed as I purchased my washer from Lowe's and not their contractor that delivers or installs the machine. Lowes should resolve this.

Lowes - Salesman ordered wrong carpet

We ordered carpet and pad about a week before thanksgiving for our livingroom and bedroom. We were called by installers and was told they could do installation on December 19th. After installers pulling up our carpet they asked for me to check the carpet as they thought it might be wrong. I noticed that yes it was the wrong carpet for the livingroom and the the bedroom carpet was the right one. The carpet for both rooms was suppose to be the same. After speaking to manager at Lowes she said that they would tack down the carpet that was brought and they would order the carpet that we originally suppose to have . She said the process would take 2 weeks. In the meantime we had carpet that did not match our furniture we ordered in our livingroom and our carpet on our stairs was our old carpet because they had not pulled that carpet yet. But the right carpet was in our bedroom. We had to entertain family that came over for Christmas with this mess up when all we wanted to do was to have our house look nice at that time. It is now Janurary 16 and we still not had a call about our carpet. It will be 4 weeks tomorrow. I am so upset.

I ordered a refrigerator which took weeks to be delivered. Folks that delivered would not install with current water set-up (note that current set-up worked for the last refrigerator also purchased from Lowe's). Delivery company required a shut-off valve. I hired a plumber and had a shut-off value installed. Set new appointment. Times were constantly changed so that basically I sat home all day until a phone call at 5:30 - the end of the latest "delivery" window. Install guy indicated he couldn't come as they were in a big truck and there was a note on my order that said small truck. I assured him double tractor trails make it down our road and he said they would come over. They did not show or call. 2 days later I receive another recording indicating a new set of delivery guys would show up that day. When they arrived, they were surprised to know that they had to install a frig and not just drop off the water lines. I found that once Lowe's "sells" you, they no longer care what the service folks do from that point on. Poor customer service and unclear communication between sales and delivery. Won't buy from them again.
