Paid $8,500.00 for a fence and installation on August 28, 2020. Was told my fence would be up by Halloween . didn't happen... then told it would be December 21 now I get a phone call today it will be December 28... I know that a lot of people due to covid is having stuff done to their house but this is ridiculous. The lady told me if it was snowy or rainy it would be January..... I'm over it!!! This was something I actually was looking forward to having but not anymore.

I purchased an AO Smith water softener that had a defective motor. My plumber did not want to come back a 2nd. time to install a different motor and Lowe's would not send someone to install the new motor because I didn't hire a Lowe's installer to begin with. I was never told that the warranty wouldn't be honored unless I hired a Lowe's employee. I was told by Lowe's to return the item because they couldn't help me. Now I'm out the 500.00 fee that I had to pay my plumber and I don't have a water softener. Lowe's sold me a defective item and then refused to help me.

User's recommendation: Don't trust Lowe's to have quality products, good customer service, or to have your your back if something goes wrong. They didn't value me as customer, sadly those days are gone.

Faulty Part Replacement

The product I purchased came with a couple faulty parts that needed to be replaced. Lowe's did make it right after a bit of time had expired, due to part availability.

We have shopped at Lowe's for years, and the customer service is non existent. If you can actually find a worker and ask a question, they don't know, and have 0 interest in finding an answer for you. We are done with it. Two miles down the road is a Home Depot, where there are actual employees, who are knowledgeable, and also interested in finding the best answer to questions. .. The Lowe's we have issue with us on Doral Dr. In Boardman, Ohio.

Worst experience ever!

I placed an online order at the Lowe's Lithonia-Dekalb location. Unfortunately this was the only location that had a 16ft handrail. With a limited window to picked up and not being able to go in person I tried to call. What a nightmare!!!! On 3 separate attempts the phone went unanswered for 11 minutes 1st attempt, 14 minutes 2nd attempt and 16 minutes last attempt. Each time someone would answer and hang up! I've been working in customer service for 27 years - this would get you fired!!! It's so sad that the people who pay your salaries are subject to disregard. Of course not all stores are created equal but Lithonia-Dekalb!!!! What a mess! I called this a.m. and after my conversation with Angel I was hung up on. I realize the challenges we all face during this time, it's not easy. However customer service is the mirror and window to your company. The person who answers your phone invites you in or ruins your reputation. Never again Lithonia-Dekalb!!!

Recent delivery issue

On Tues Nov 23, I had 39 pieces of 4 X 12 drywall delivered to my home. I had ordered these online.

When the delivery guy came, he said that it would be $2 per sheet to carry it in and that there was another crew that does that. We had no idea of this additional charge as it doesnt even offer that service when ordering nor does it say it in the confirmation email. My husband has had recent major shoulder surgery and could not carry. We had to call our son from 40 miles away to come help our grandson carry it in before rain arrived.

I am very unhappy with this and will let everybody that I know what kind of scam you are doing. This was utterly unacceptable.

We spend Thousands of dollars there on a yearly basis but will now drive to Lexington Home Depot. Our order #71162****.

Broken refrigerator delivered

On Sept 10th I ordered a counter depth refrig to be delivered on Oct 2nd. It was finally delivered on Oct 11th & I paid additional for the old one to be hauled away. The new one wont come on & any phone numbers called, just get a recording Lowes cant take the call and hangs up. Drive over to the store to have a manager explain there is nothing they can do, but issue a refund - only after they have time to come pick it up. I at least want the old one back, plus interest for my money theyve had for a month. I dont understand how it is legal for Lowes to deliver me a broken appliance, haul my old one away, dismantle & sell it for parts, make interest on my money theyve had for a month & do nothing. All the food had to be thrown away & dont have a working refrig. They should replace with something in stock, even if its a higher price. This is absurd.

REFUSAL TO HONOR EXTRA LOWES LG REFRIGERATOR WARRANTY

MAY - SEPTEMBER 2020 LG FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR - COMPLETE FAILURE - 5 SERVICE CALLS - UNSUCCESSFUL REPLACEMENT ICEMAKER AND COMPUTER BOARD - REFUSAL We purchased an LG Refrigerator from LOWES with the additional warranty. May 23 2020 5 separate Service Calls. Neither LG nor Lowes will stand behind the unit. I learned today that there is at least one and probably several class action lawsuits against LG Refridgerators for similar failures to the one we have been experiencing. LOWES sold the unit anyway. The refrigerator has not worked since it was delivered. A request for replacement was made immediately and well within 30 days but was refused. Instead we were told the unit had to be repaired first. Two separate requests for replacement were made within the first 30 days because the unit did not work properly after the first repair. Replacement was refused. The ice maker and complete computer board has been switched out at least once. The computer board may have been changed twice. This unit is not working at all. Ice Maker has never worked. The Freezer totally failed Sept 2020. Refridgerator is barely working and will not cool food. First available LG service call is more than 8 days away - 09/17/2020 We lost more than $400 of food. They will not replace the refrigerator even though it obviously comes under the Appliance Warranty. All you get from from LG them is gobbledegook. It is apparent that we should not have purchased an LG Appliance and we should not have purchased from Lowes because Lowes did not stand behind the additional warranty when LG refused to perform. The additional warranty is worthless and a complete waste of your money.

On 2/17/20 I submitted a rebate on Samsung appliances after checking countless times I was told on 7/23 to resubmit which I did.today is 10/24 and I got the same story... processing! Im beginning to think this is a scam!!!!

We spent over 100,000 in a total remodel from carpet to new receptacles. Lowes enthusiastically took our money.

When we wanted to make a few returns of unused new materials Lowes had on the shelf. we were denied and basically was told F U deal with it.

Lowes has been under performing for several years. The new CEO was at JCP we all know where JCP is headed, then Home Depot...fired from that chain only to land at Lowes...some habits and trends just can't be broke.

I’ve had similar experience. Subcontractors failed to deliver as promised. Lowe’s did not make it right.

I purchased a Kamado Joe Classic smoker from your Bluffton South Carolina store. First let me say everything was perfect up until the product was delivered......the delivery people couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating; everything fell a part once I noticed an improper assembly of the KAMADO JOE STAND and I tried to reach someone in the store to help with the repair of the KAMADO JOE smoker. First I tried to call the store, once I finally found a real live person the assistance quickly went down hill. Your sales associates are AND WERE rude and ineffective, NO ONE could do anything but place my phone call on hold or just plain hang up.I tried to reach the store manager but no one would answer the phone, I tried the delivery department - no help, I tried store pick-up again no help (i tried three times), last resort I called Customer Service @ 800-445-****, I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes, really!! My next move will be to have my credit card company pull my payment until I get satisfaction and get my purchase fixed and reassembled so it is safe to use

Lowes - Terrible customer service
Good evening, My refrigerator stopped working on May 29, 2020. When to Lowes and spoke to a Jennifer that at the time help me purchase a refrigerator. The store address: 4420 Pleasant Hill Road, Kissimmee, FL 34746 4**-**2-1100. The delivery was going to be next day however, when she check the open spot they had was on Thursday, June 4 between 8am and 4pm. Jennifer said if the delivery wasn't able to be delivered on Thursday it will get deliver on the next day which should be tomorrow Friday, June 5, 2020. I called the delivery company expo logistic 855-548-**** they used to deliver, and they said that they cancel my delivery for today, and they don't have anything for tomorrow, but they will deliver on Saturday, June 06, 2020. I call the store today and spoke to a Casey supposedly the manager on duty. I ask for her last name, and she claimed she wasn't able to give me that information. Customer should be able to have the full name of the manager that is speaking to me. That's a fail. I had to repeatedly ask for someone above her manager status which I believe she was not being honest. Jennifer got on the phone finally, the originally person that help my husband Camilo Mogollon create this order on May 29, 2020. I am not sure who is running the store since everyone is a manager is very confusing. A store ran only by managers that really don't have answers. Jennifer said she will add my delivery to tomorrow manifest. I call the delivery company and still not have been added. Can you help me resolve this problem with the delivery and have everyone re-train on their customer service skills since they just throw dates out there! If I knew I was going to be spending so much money in coolers and ice I would have taken my business elsewhere.
