Lowes - "Nice" does not override incompetency.

Nov. 09, 2017 - Placed order for new dishwasher (wanted it by Christmas). Dec. 08, 2017 - Item received by Simi location (apparently it was lost for a while). Dec. 12, 2017 - Installer arrived at my home. Although installation had been paid in advance, the installer advised there would be an additional fee of $500 for installation as extra work needed to be done. I advised him to cancel the order. Dec. 12, 2017 - Received a call from Lowes customer service dept. They advised that another installer may be able to do the necessary work and install the dishwasher for approximately $200 more. I agreed to deal with another installer. Dec. 18, 2017 - 2nd installer called. They were not able to schedule installation prior to Christmas. I cancelled the order. Bottom line: Everyone I dealt with was very nice. However, "nice" does not override incompetency. I wonder how long it will take them to process the refund.............

Lowes - O work at Lowe's 1164 what happen to this store.

Lowes 1164 on the way down ever sence they hire service managers our store has went tk the birds. All they do is set in the back lr chase the young associates around the store. The no only tbe department they come from. They rehire people when the quit. Why they left for.a reason. The p.s.a 's set in the break room all day i throught they have task o do. Them we have one person does what she wonts she a c.s.a and works only from 5 until 2 week days and off every weekend. This is not right she should.have to work weekends a d different shift like all c.s.a's. The women dont have to have tow motor licienes.. such asame the store manager lets this go on. Pissed off employee.

I submitted a rebate the day that I bought 3 appliances. When I checked the status, it says "non-compliance sent". I have no idea what that means.... I would never buy so much as a screw from Lowes after the headache of buying appliances there. It has been nothing but a complete frustration.... They tried to deliver the refrigerator to the wrong address. When I told them that they were at the wrong place they were extremely rude and told me that I had to re-schedule the delivery as if I had done something wrong. I paid for installation, but a month later I am still trying to get that done.

Lowes in Spring Hill, Florida - MORE CASHIERS!!!

We purchased a range on 12/17/17 with the help of Pat. He was very helpful and courteous. He told us we had to pay for it at any cashier. When we went to check out there was a line of 20 people waiting at ONE (1) cashier open! Those lucky enough to check out themselves were fine but those who HAD to check out with a cashier were irritated. Where was all the help on a busy Sunday morning? Finally, another cashier came in but we were 2nd in lube by then and it didn't matter. The manager was no where to be found.

Lowes - Still wating for a delivery at 6PM that was scheduled for between 1 -3 Both Lowe"s and the delivery company put me on hold for ever with no results.

Happening now. Still no reply from Lowe's. I have removed the old appliances so I am stuck. The 3 numbers for the delivery company all had the same recorded message but finally got a call back asking how the delivery went but there was no delivery. They said they will look into it. Still have heard nothing. This is in NYC but there should be some quality control over this by Lowe's. I will probably not deal with them again. Just got a call 5;12 from the delivery company they need to check if the order was loaded. I was given a delivery window of 1-3PM by the Same delivery company!!

Lowe's allowed multiole fradukent charges, over the phone orders, to my bank account!! I am talking two $600+ orders and two $200+ orders only seconds apart. How is this??? Is Lowe's in on this as they do nothing to help or stop tye processing of the pending charges!!!

Somebody obviously got hold of your credit or debit card number and are using it to make purchases, possibly on-line or over the phone. You need to call your bank and cancel the card and have a new one issued. At the same time, report the fraudulent charges and fill out the paperwork the bank requires to get the charges reversed.

I never do this, but I am done! So on December 3rd after doing my research I ordered a washer and dryer on lowes.com since it would be delivered in 2 days, well the day after I placed my order the delivery date was set for the 13th I called to see why and the band and model I picked was on back order, fine I get that it's the holiday season that's common... so fast forward to the 13th, I didn't get the call the night before to remind me of the delivery, luckily I remembered and saw an email about the delivery it was for 4pm-6pm, come to find out they came early at 2pm without calling were rude to my father in law and said they would have to reschedule because apparently we did t have a 3 prong pulge and water hoses even though they were connected to our current washer and dryer. No one had told me we needed new plug and hoses. So I called a complained I was told you would get a call from the delivery management team within 24 hrs and delivery would be rescheduled for Friday the 15th and I would receive a phone call for my delivery time however that didn't happen and no phone call from management either just an email for my delivery between 5-7, I confirmed this in another phone call to customer service. They never came between 5-7. I called again at 9 pm filed another complaint with lowes delivery customer service and they said they would call the warehouse and have them call me before they close at 10 pm, knowing I wouldn't get that call, I call lowes regular customer service line, now basically at square one, they filed a new complaint could not tell me when the delivery would be but assured me I should get a call back from upper management tomorrow, I my dot going hold my breath! Man do I hate Lowes... #loweshomeprovement #terrible

At least they showed on the day it was scheduled. I got a phone call the night before and they never showed.

Called and got a run around. So far we are still waiting 2 days later and still not here. I will never buy anything from Lowes’s ever again. Not even a screw or nail.

$1800+ and still nothing.

Never again. Should have read this before I ordered.

I had the same experience with my washer and dryer and every other thing I have ever had delivered from Lowe’s. I am currently waiting for someone to tell when my cabinets will be delivered that I originally ordered a month ago.

Every week they postpone it another week. Their customer service is horrific! Just another number to them I’m sure.

Never mind that I’ve had to reschedule with my contractor four times now or eat out for an entire month because my kitchen is torn apart. They don’t care about any of that.

It's apparent that Lowe's doesn't care about customer satisfaction after the sale. CANCEL immediately and buy from a reputable local business.If you've managed four weeks without cabinets you can probably stand a few more weeks without. The fact that you never have to deal with them again should also help to ease the pain.

Go to Lowes and buy the 3 prong plug for the dryer (electric dept.) and get new water hoses (plumbing dept.). Lowe's will only install with new water hoses. But if you have it all on hand, then just reschedule the delivery of the washer and dryer and tell them you have those things already on hand.

Loganville GA Lowes and the lost refrigerator

Purchased a refrigerator on Nov.18th and was told it would arrive on Dec. 14th. On Dec. 14th, I called to confirm the delivery, because no one called with a window. Was told it was back ordered again and I would have to wait until Mid. January. Later that evening (Dec 14) I got a call from their delivery center telling me my order would be delivered on the 15th. So, I took the day off from work and waited for them to come, which never happened. I called the store and tried to speak with the store manager. He did not seem surprised. His only solution was a loaner fridge until my fridge eventually came in. Another day off from work and another day of lost pay. Lowe's negligence has cost me lost wages and I am making payments on something that might. It come in. Friends don't let friends buy from Lowe's!

Lowes - Lousy Customer Care

I've got a Lowe's Gift card. When I tried to use it to make an online purchase, I was told I needed to provide a PIN and in the PIN box it said "Optional". But it wasn't. The ? Info button said the PIN was on the back of my card to the right of the card number. The only thing to the right of the card number was a decal with wiggly lines on it. I called the 800 number listed on the back of the card, but the only option I was given was to check the card's balance. No way to talk to anyone. I called Lowe's Customer Care 800 number and because of their automated answering system, I got really frustrated. I mashed #, 0, and * several times until I finally was told to wait for someone. I was also told that I could take a 3-minute survey after the call. WHAT? A 3 MINUTE SURVEY! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING. After a few minutes listening to on hold music, I gave up. LOWE'S SUCKS!

12-15-2017: Local Lowe's website (Glenmont, NY) stated there were 8 CR2025 Lithium batteries in stock located in Aisle 4 Bay 18. Drove to store to purchase product and to my surprise Aisle 4 Bay 18 had flashlights and related products. Worker guided me to front cashier station area where all batteries were displayed. Found the bin for battery CR2025 was empty !! Not the first time that I encounter such a deceiving information and pathetic organization from Lowe's. This convinced that I will drive to Home Depot the next time even though it is located quite a few miles away. No wonder Lowe's is not doing well.

I learned a long time ago to never call a store to see if something is in stock as you usually get the wrong answer. Best to get in your vehicle and check it out yourself.

That way, if they don't have what you want, you can simply drive to another store. You must remember that you are not dealing with rocket scientists employed by most stores.
