Lowes has failed to deliver our appliances twice

We ordered 3 kitchen appliances. It was not delivered the first date provided. No phone call from Lowes. We had to call to find out it was no longer being delivered. Second date of delivery provided. We call and are told appliances are still not available. One appliance was "not loaded on the truck." As in it didn't fit on the delivery truck? Another hadn't been shipped to the store yet. A friend just went through a similar fiasco with Lowes so I at least knew NOT to take off work for delivery because inevitably you would waste a "sick day" or lose income for an unpaid day off. We cancelled our order, well at least attempted to. When we said we wanted to cancel, Mike the manager at the Severn Maryland store told us he was "Sorry to hear that," but rather than cancel the order he transferred us to a phone survey. Lowe's customer service is comparable and as frustrating as Comcast's customer service from a few years ago. I hope all the negative backlash and cancelled orders or returned orders start to bring attention to their hurrendous delivery and customer services.

But a Snow Blower for $844.00 but it was not delivered . Lowe's told me that they were not responsible since it was their contractor who was responsible to deliver the item.

People should stop buying from Lowe's

Avoid Lowes when your lawn equipment needs repair

Do not take lawn equipment to Lowes for repair. I purchased a Husqvarna riding mower from Lowes. The frame broke. I contacted a local Husqvarna dealer and he would not work on "junk from Lowes". I took the mower to Lowes. After I insisted they take care of their customer they shipped the mower to Altaquip, the company Lowes uses for repairs. Altaquip wanted $400 to repair. I called them and told them it was under warranty. Altaquip told me they sent pictures to Husqvarna and the repair was declined because of excessive hours and because I had a ball on the mower to pull things. I told him the warranty was for 5 years with no mention of hours and I had never had a ball on the mower. I then called Husqvarna. The guy there placed me on hold and called Altaquip. He was told that IF they had sent pics they felt Husqvarna would have rejected the claim. Husqvarna ask Altaquip for pictures. At the end of the week I called Altaquip and they said they were shipping the mower back to Lowes since they had not heard back from Husqvarna. I said you can't do that, it's not repaired. They shipped it back to Lowes with a $167 bill for inspecting the unit. Lowes wrote off the $167. I took the mower to another Husqvarna dealer. He contacted Husqvarna and they authorized the repair. I have no way of knowing but was Altaquip going to charge me for the repair and also bill Husqvarna? If they lie to me about sending pictures am I to trust them for anything else? Avoid Altaquip!

Lowes in Yonkers, New York - Great staff member!

Was unable to find anyone to help,but, then a gentleman asked if he could help me! First time this has happened as I was in your store 2 times before, and could find no one to help. His employee tag showed his name was Michael and he knew exactly how to locate what I needed! Have told my friends to please go to Lowe’s again, because they do help you!!!!! It’s virtually impossible to fins people like Michael in these stores today. He is an asset to your company! Lowes in Howell, New Jersey - Kitchen Disaster

I ordered cabinets from Lowe's in Howell on May 13, 2017. Today is December 1, 2017 and the job is still not complete. Below is a summary of the events that have taken place: Kitchen rep at Howell, NJ store read the measurements from the installer (also from Lowe's) incorrectly Went back to Lowe's to correct the order Cabinets were delivered June, 20, 2017 incorrect sizes New order submitted to manufacturer 2nd cabinet delivery August 8, 2017 2 cabinets still incorrect sizes cannot do install 3rd cabinet delivery September 21, 2017 - ENTIRE summer without a kitchen. Installer came to install cabinets but would not install hardware as that was not listed on the work order because Howell, NJ kitchen rep forgot. One cabinet was sent defective from the manufacturer...still waiting for Lowe's to fix/replace. On May13, 2017 Howell, NJ rep told us interest free financing would be for 18 months. Wrote down on a the back of the credit card agreement that the first bill would show 6 months but then would be corrected. Financing was never corrected and interest free period ends today. Lowe's will not honor 18 months that was promised. I have been in constant contact with customer service at Lowe's and apparently once you have a rep you cannot speak to anyone else. If your rep is on vacation you have to wait for them to return. There is no supervisor. There is no way to request a different rep. I email and leave voicemails and my rep never calls me back. And there is absolutely nothing that I can do about it. I completely give up and unfortunately I now hate my kitchen that I have waited 15 years for.

Lowes in Richmond, Indiana - The fence without gates

My wife and I purchased a fence from Lowes. Lowes was to provide the fence and have it installed. In 6 days it will be 3 months since our in person order was made. Lowes tells us now that the manufacture does not make a gate to match the fence we purchased. We bought the fence for a home we just purchased. The fence was purchased to contain our dog when he goes out. Now Lowes installer tells us it may be next spring before he can finish the fence due to cold temperatures affecting the vinyl fence during installation. We put the fence on our Lowes card and have to make payments even though we don't have the fence. The fence department at Lowes here in Richmond In. is ran by Corey and Heather both refuse to return calls. The manager of the store told me he did not believe our story of poor service. We then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That's when we found out that Lowes has a special department to handle these issues. We were then offered 3 options to correct the issue. After deciding on Lowes replacing the fence with a fence that has a matching gate Lowes again would not return calls. So back to the Better Business Bureau. After filing another complaint Lowes called us again. With a promise to have information to us today on a new fence with a matching gate. It is 3:00 in the afternoon and I doubt I hear from Lowes as promised. We have lived in this community our entire lives. We have never experienced anything like this in our lives. Lowes does not care about it's customers nor the products it sells. We are still walking our dog to let him do his business. And Lowes is still AWOL. Before doing business with Lowes or any business please check into the store. I wish we would have. Lowes lack of professionalism and total mismanagement

Lowes lack of professionalism and total mismanagement of the rehab of my condo is appalling. I started on a good note with the design crew (Sales). We worked together and came up with the cabinets appliances, flooring, doors, new toilets, etc. We gutted the small two bedroom, two and a half baths on the assurances that if we picked in stock materials they would be installed quickly. We started at the beginning of September and now it is December. Every installation was a battle to be done by professional people. The mistakes are too numerous to go over here. However, it took 5 different plumbers on 5 different days to install my 3 toilets. I am still using a dehydrator in the downstairs bathroom because of the mistake of one of the plumbers. I have talked with 4 store managers, 2 customer service managers and 1 regional director. None were helpful. They were understanding and courteous, but of no help in getting materials or personnel to fix anything in a timely manner. The results are I will never recommend Lowes or Legacy flooring for anything that has to do with home improvement.

LOWES CRUMMY SERVICE!!! Does Lowes think somebody is stupid!!!! My name is Reuben Lee. My account number is 81924114850902. My phone number is 347-806-1221. On 11/14, Lowes dropped off the cabinets we purchased. On 11/16, Lowes begin installing the cabinets. Now, they were supposed to come back out and do the electrical outlet work and put on the knobs to the shelves we purchased from Lowes. Today is Friday 12/1/17. We haven't heard from nobody. I talked to Derek Edwards out of your corporate office in North Carolina. He told he's looking for electricians...I talked to Coy, who dispatches the contractors. He was supposed to get back to us. NOTHING! This merchandise was purchased out of your Valdosta, GA store. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE ON ALL LEVELS!!! I am in the Transportation / Installation business. It is Friday 12/1/17 @ 9:54 am. The 1st payment is due 12/5. If this is not resolved today completely to my satisfaction, YOU CAN COME PICK UP YOUR MERCHANDISE & I WILL GO TO HOME DEPOT!!! VERY SIMPLE!!! ANGRY / IRATE CUSTOMER!!!

Mansfield tx store on 287. ALL I wanted to do was pay for my carpet. Went to the store at 6pm and no one was working in the carpet section. I had a measuresment done by Lowe's and all I needed was to purchase carpet and get the installation set up. Katie from customer service tried to help me. But she asked Charles for his help and he was visibly bothered by assisting us. He yelled at me in front of my kids. I should gave walked out then but Katie was polite and tried to assist me. Worse experience ever I won't be back to that store . Destroying my new Lowe's card now. Telling the world about my experience there. Spending my 2500 else where.

Nov 23 I ordered an item at Lowes.com. Item was listed as in stock and available for delivery and I should expect to receive it by 11/30. Well November 29th I get a message that the item will not be available until December 20 and I could call and cancel my order. Not what I wanted to hear (the decent thing to do is list item as out of stock. So I cancelled the order and things were going fine until I ask that they credit my account. They said no ... I was talking to a CSR so I thought certainly she is wrong. I mean I ordered an item paid for it and just want my money back. The supervisor tells me no they would not be crediting me but will send me a gift card in 2-3 weeks. So I thought certainly I can email or call someone that will give me a refund. But no they will not respond to me. Can you believe it I ordered and paid for an item and not only did I not get the item I paid for I did not get my money back either. I believing that is called stealing.

I ordered several appliances from Lowe’s and Delivery was a no show for the second time, and they failed to contact me. This has been a total disaster from the start. I’ll never buy from Lowe’s again.
