Lowes in Carnegie, Pennsylvania - Bubble floor

I had lowes of scott township put a kitchen floor in. After 3 months i noticed bubbles. I called it took 3 months to have them put in a new floor. Had no clue why this happened. Well a couple of months after this one was installed it happened again but worse!! I called again they gave me such a run around, They sent someone out and claimed it wad my problem.. Claiming my moisture level was high. Why did they put the floor in. I found out the people who put their floors in, used to just do carpet. So doing flooring is new to these people. I called a flooring company for a second opion, and they said the wrong subfloor was put in. He told me to press lowes. Which i called and they gave me a HUGH runaround. I dont have the money to take them to court, and this is what they count on. So i'm stuck with a floor that contuines to bubble. Everytime i go to wash it, i just cry!! So take my advice go to a flooring company and not to a box store, they hire people that reputable flooring companys wouldn't! !

Lowes - handicapped parking

On sunday,October 22 I went to lowes Opelousas,louisiana I was trying to park in handi capped,due to fact I am handi capped with the license.A car pulled in the spot ahead of me,I found parking farther into the parking lot.I noticed the car had no handicapped license or plackard.Upon entering the store I saw the individual who parked in handicapped was a Lowes employee.Walking around like she owned the world ,this Lowes store is one of the worse I have ever been in for product knowledge,courtesy,and helpfulness.Many times during a recent remodeling project at my home I would drive to Home Depot in Lafayette ,La.at least 20 mile further.Spending at least $12,000 on the project,Lowes you are loosing customers and money due the employees incompetence!

Having managed big box retail stores for years, I'd be looking for a new employee to replace an employee that wasn't handicapped and parked in the handicapped spot.

Lowes in Wichita, Kansas - Doesn’t work , not 100% reliable

Don’t buy this products , specially the garage door controller and if you above 10’ Away from controller , expect to buy more accessory such as multiple z wave hopping it connect well. It will give you false or not connect reading unless the device and hub is within 5’ . Not a well engineered products and needed more test before it able to replace real security.. Spend hours and lots of money invested in these products . At the beginning 1st generation was better built with very little bells and whistle such as door locks and garage opener and lights . After 2nd generation I invested in more thinking good first time experience and wow I regret and spend 1,000 in there accessories. Specially garage opener and door contacts. I had to relocate the hub 5’ to the 1 door contact main entrance to hope security at the front door

Lowes servic es are deplorable. I ordered an 18 inch pantry door for 225.00.

They sent a 24 inch door. When I went to return it, they wanted to charge another 400.00. Why would I pay more for an 18inch door?.

The workers and managers are extremely incompetent. They made the mistake, but would not honor it.

Lowes - Deck installation

Details
3rd week August, 2017 called to express interest in having a fence and deck installed at my home. They came out measured and discussed what we wanted. A week later and three calls got email of proposal. Agreed to it. 2 weeks pass. More unanswered phone calls. Same guy comes out and writes up pricing. We pay. After calling again a few more times and people, about 2 wks later a guy calls says they are coming on October 1 for arrival of supplies. On the 5th he started. Was told one week it will be completed. Deck was partially finished on October 16. Waited one week for permit approval. October 21. Still incomplete. And our builder went on vacation but brought 2 guys to finish it today. Not only is it not finished, it is not level where they put our grill piece. They had the parts to out a privacy fence since October 1 but realized today they are wrong parts. Now we must wait a week for the guy to come back from vacation and order correct parts. A nightmare. Never again.

After waiting over a month, calls made to Customer Service as well as Sales Mgr at store, we get a call on my voicemail from the installer that they will be coming to install next day. Thanks for the notice. So dissatisfied with Lowe's. More to come on deck installation. What a nightmare.

In the 4th of Jan 2017 I signed a contract with Lowe’s to remove and haul away 59ft of chain link fencing around driveway. Install 109ft of 4ft chain link fence to include 1 4ft walkgate and 1 10ft drivegate. Install 55ft of 6ft wood Privacy fence. Clean and remove all job related materials. The material And installation was on or about 16 Jan 2017. I called Lowe’s the next day to let them know that mud from the chain link install was left in the driveway and their were large gaps in the fence. Contractors came back a couple days later and used my water hose to wash the mud away from my driveway. Dexter also took some extra boards which had been put in my shed that was left over from install and nailed them over six large gaps in the fence. So basically he refenced a new fence. I asked him if the fence needed to be primed he said NO. About a month later I emailed and called Candi Ridge Lowe’s Project Coordinator for the Chester store in VA. about the nails coming out the fence and the gaps. The contractor came out for the second time and knocked some nails back into the fence. I was told at that time that the Nail gun that was used at install didn’t have enough pressure in it that’s why the nails didn’t go all the way through and were backing. I don’t know anything about Nail guns. I worked as an IT Specialist for the Army for 32 years. Anyway I emailed Ms Ridge again about the fence and I have been constantly emailing her about the fence. Finally another contractor Jeremy came out on August 18, 2017 to knock some more nails into the fence. I also was told that I would have to pay 1000.00 for Lowe’s to send the contractors back out to fix my fence. I have a year warranty on this fence. I have been sending Ms Ridge the pictures of this fence falling apart since it was put up. Jeremy the last contractor said Lowe’s should be ashamed of what they are doing. The gaps in the fence is not normal. Maybe if they had of used the boards leftover in my shed I wouldn’t have so many gaps. The fence was put up because my neighbor kept coming on my property. The district attorney advised me to get the fence as a deterrent. I’ve gotten security cameras because of my neighbor. We’ve been to court three times. He was ordered to go to Chesterfield Mental Health 6 months. When I’m in my yard I don’t want this man watching me. My contract said wood Privacy fence. I can understand some spaces but not the gaps this fence have. Lowe’s should be ashamed of themselves not honoring the warranty especially since I have been constantly communicating with them about this fence. I will not buy anything from Lowe’s again. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to them. They take advantage of senior citizens especially ones that are afraid of their crazy neighbors. I have voice video from my Security camera that I sent to Ms ridge but she said she couldn’t open it but the pictures speak for themselves.

That is so sad. I wish there was a way to get the word out to the public about Lowe's and their hiring process of installers.

Without getting myself in trouble let's just say I'm knowledgeable to some degree. They will hire installers without checking their credentials. And they go through installers like most people change their pants.

On the other hand there are a few very good installers, but Lowe's treats them like crap and therefore they do not stay long. Home Depot on the other hand I have found is wonderful, does a thorough background check and calls and make sure everyone is satisfied.

Bad Friday at lowes

Bought a sceptic pump 10 month ago today Friday the 20th. The pump stopped working. Call the night before. Got connected to plumbing. Got told 1 year warranty. Return and get another. He was very helpful. Go to Lowe's. Nobody waits on you. When they do. They can't take the pump back. Tell them we talked to a man in plumbing. Was told different. Million question. Who would say that. It's wrong. What time was the call made. On and on. They look closer to pump and claim it has 90 day warranty. They tell us to call the manufacture. We ask for the number. This is now the store manager. Wrong number. They give out a construction company number. Told they are sick of all the calls. Finally get the right number. The pump company said warranty is good. Tell Lowe's to call. That is all Lowe's has to do call warranty numbers and get the ok. Not the customer. Had manager call and got ok. Manager does know this!! The man in p!umbing knew more.

Lowes store credit "new policy"

Lowe's has made it very difficult to purchase items and return them. I recently worked on a project where we purchased multiple items not sure which we needed. When we returned unused items with receipts, Lowe's put each item on a separate store credit requiring me to produce my license to do this. I now have 12 Lowe's store credits because they refused to put them on 1 card. When I tried to use these separate store credits to purchase items for a new project, they said they could not honor them without my license. This is outrageous - this allows them to track my purchases and forces me to show my license to clerks! I complained to Lowe's corporate who said they would "make note of my complaint". I told them I wanted a reply so they had the store manager call me only to be told by manager it was new corporate policy.

You are a liar. If you actually had your receipts, they would be able to refund to the original purchase tender.

That is unless your original purchase was with store credits, in which case you are still a liar.

Why are you so unnerved by providing your license in the first place?

You do realize that you are not owed a refund without a receipt in the first place, right? The policy of issuing store credit with a license is a courtesy, NOT an entitlement.

Lowes - Salesman had no knowledge, Customer service no curtesy

Was shopping for a new cook stove. 3 salespeople gathered around the register talking. Asked the male salesman to give me some information on a range. He stepped back to the range I was looking at. Asked if I could get the range on a payment plan with no interest. He said he had no knowledge about that and sent me to customer service. In customer service 4 women were there, saw me and three walked away. 4th customer service rep, turned around and said "whoever", I just walked away. No cutesy will not get my business. I am surprised at first how little the salesman knew, as before when I have purchased appliances from Lowes the salesman set everything up for me. Always very knowledgeable about anything I asked or get the information for me.

They don't send $10/hr floor persons to Stove School and the manufacturers aren't much help either.

You aren't going to get an expert 93.4 % of the time.

The worst experience for an online purchase Ive ever made... too bad there isn't a minus rating - I bought a new refrig online.. cust service called set up a delivery for the following Sunday, Oct 15h, between noon and 4pm. A total of 3 days from purchase to delivery. Sunday Oct 15th came and went... no refrig, no phone call. I called first thing Monday morning.. excuse they had - only had one delivery driver that day... bad customer service.. but I can accept that. New delivery set up for the following day the 17th of Oct, noon to 4pm. Double checking I called around 1:30 on the 17th to make sure delivery was happening.. I was assured it was. 17th came and went - no refrig no phone call. Seriously.. how do they stay in business when they cant even keep track of and online order to even call and apologize ??? Anyway I gave up - bought a refrig from anther store, I will obviously be disputing and having the Lowe's charge removed from my Visa card.
