When into Lowes in Kansas City Missouri the one North of the River by the airport. We went outside in the garden area to check out because the lines inside were so long. It would have been a good idea because there were two people out there doing NOTHING. Went to check out and my mother of whom I can't figure out why she asks the checker questions because they never know anything. Asked them about some grass seed because she was wanting grass seed but we could only find seed for tall grass. Anyway, the checkers instead of answering the question started asking her questions about how often she mowes the grass and if she knows she supposed to water the grass. Anyhow, just wanted to know if they had the grass seed for grass and not the tall fescue. In the meantime, other people came out to check out and they let a ton of people cut in front of her in line and they tied her up for about 20 minutes asking dumb questions to a person who has done yard work for over 40 years who just wanted one question answered. So much for the quick check out. My mother seems to think to get tied up for 20 minutes and not getting anywhere she handled it well. Well, you may be able to do that to an old lady but I'm pissed. I will never shop at LOWES EVER AGAIN. I will stay with Ace hardware where people actually provide customer service and knows things. Instead of the teenagers who don't even own a house.

Lowes - WIll not return calls

I have had an ongoing problem with Lowes store #3051 since 06/28/2017. I have called the store and received no response nor acknowledgement of my messages. I have sent email with read receipts. again no responses. I have called Lowes customer care and filed an incident report. no response to my filing of the report. I have re-called the customer care 8 times and received the words. "I am so sorry for your inconvenience, I will have someone contact you" received no responses to my 8 calls. I have called their claims department and left voice mail to claims representatives and claims supervisors and received no response. I will never shop at Lowes again.

Lowes in Baltimore, Maryland - Customer Service/Operator Department Need Training

I called the Lowes located in Catonsville, Maryland regarding cutting glass station while at the Westminster, MD Lowes (glass machinery broke in Westminster). Several times the operator picked up and put me on hold or hung up which caused me to call back. Finally during my drive leaving Westminster to Catonsville after calling 10 times, the young girl picked up and I asked to speak to the store manager.. she finally connected me to someone by the name of John. I explained to him my reason of calling and his excuse was it is busy at the store and maybe that is why she hung up or placed me on hold forever. I asked if their glass station was working and he said yes. By the time i get there, ready to get work done, the representative in the glass department said the glass blade stopped working this morning. I am very disappointed as a first time customer of Lowes for the run around. It was a very displeasing experience.

We went to Lowe's to try to buy carpet. First of all, we had to go back three times, waiting 45 minutes each JUST TO GET SERVICE. I should have stopped there. During one of those visits, we had customer service try to get us a sales person. Multiple people answered the phone as she kept trying the next person and all said they wouldn't go help. Note: the store had almost no cars in the parking lot, nor people shopping in the store as it was dinner time hours. It's not like we were there at 9:30pm at night. Next they charged us $51 for the carpet measure. When we got the quote for the carpet they gave us $43 for the carpet measure in credit. The remainder was to test for lead paint (which, by the way, they did not give us results for) WHICH THEY DID NOT TELL US ABOUT. When I complained, since the room was an addition with cedar planking and no paint until the 2000s - they said "you should have told us that" --- but no one ever talked to us about a lead paint test so why would I have told them that? They said it was $51 to measure and never said anything about lead paint testing. NEXT: when we got the quote, our $1.68 per square foot carpet was suddenly $1.78 per square foot. WHAT???? When I complained about the price change, the woman (Paula at Gilford Lowe's) stated that the prices had changed and they didn't know the prices until they quoted it, and the prices on the carpet was out of date and that wasn't their fault. I am so grateful I took photos of the carpet and price otherwise I think I wouldn't have noticed this change. NOTE: She eventually and I do mean EVENTUALLY offered to honor the stated price but not until I said I had a photograph of the price! They also wanted to charge us over $100 to move exercise equipment (a basket with stretch bands in it, and a ROLLAWAY treadmill) - ie. over $100 for five minutes of work. During the measure they never talked to us about this, because OF COURSE we would have said thank you we'll do that part ourselves. They also charged us an adder for moving furniture when it said moving furniture was free. Note we have since gone to another place that states that they charge to move furniture and yet they charged us 0$ because we had so little furniture. This furniture move part is in the noise, but the exercise move charge is ridiculous. So anyway - we didn't order and probably shouldn't have gone back after we couldn't get service the first time we went. It's too bad because we really thought the carpet was great, with great colors for the price - but it wasn't the price. I don't Lowe's Flooring even 1 millimeter after this experience.

I made a phone call to our local Lowes in Glenwood Springs, CO. I was looking to see if a part was in store because online was not clear in the results. The first call lasted two minutes. Tina in customer service transferred me to appliances and after several rings I was transferred back to Tina, and she was to ring them again and we were disconnected. My second call was seven minutes with the same merry-go-round. My third call I asked Tina if she could look up a part number for me instead of transferring me. She said she was very busy and I would have to hold. I agreed to hold. After seventeen minutes on hold Tina returned and looked up my part number, from the website, and told me it was an invalid part number. She then transferred me to appliances again. A gentleman that did not give his name told me I would not find that part in the store and had to talk with a different person to order it. He transferred me and I was disconnected again. After the second phone call I sent my other half to the store to see if the part we needed was there or not. As he got to the store he could hear over the store speakers for "someone to please answer the call for appliances." He made note of the business of the store, his description was of two females in customer service with no customers in line and not very many shoppers in the store. If I could shop at a Home Depot I would but the options for us in Glenwood Springs are limited. I would not recommend ever trying to call the store for help. And if you must shop there know what you need because the help has no interest in helping.

each and every time i go this dang store, its a horrible experience. Sales people not around,,,,they hide or dont make eye contact for fear you will ask them for assistance. its a home improvement store for all including senior citizens. many of us now but going to this place for supplies or help is a nightmare.no one to assist then when you find someone they dont know crap about your issue and dont mind telling you BUT dont bother finding anyone for you. If you are a woman maybe go in half naked you may then get some assistance...maybe? otherwise its like going for government aid long wait locating a willing sales person to assist you in a respectful and courteous way. complaining to store manager another issue. never available...problem never resloved...keep hiring same type of employees. they need to hire a company that does mystery shoppers to provide feed back. they dont care bout reputation on providing top notch service. Sr citizens dont need to go here. you could have heart attack dealing with this type of ***

why even have people then get robots to run the dang stores for thats what they look like anyway. Take them dang vests off indicating they are store employees, save money and only have they come in and stock they already have self serve check outs you *** that replied.

We have used Primo 5 gallon water from Lowes for years. Now after remodeling the kitchen we no longer need a water cooler. So returning all our empty bottles and globs of tickets for previous bottle returns to Lowes for a deposit return was the next step right? Not according to Lowes. Lowes tells me now that the deposit I paid for years on PRIMO water bottles is not a deposit and i do not get any money back for the bottles. Really? Every cashier over at Lowes told me it was a deposit whenever i bought a new bottle. What a total SCAM. You should be ashamed of yourself. Word of mouth and social media is a very powerful tool! NEVER AGAIN LOWES! Back to Home Depot! For everything!

I am currently interested in purchasing a impact resistant door without glass from Lowes. I have met with three associates in their Millworker Department, three times for over a period of 4 hours. The door I chose started out at approximately $794. After adding the required components it is over $2,700.00. And the work order has a lot of cross offs with an explanation that I should assume that those items that I am asking about are included. This is a standard size impact resistant Masonite door and the total with the installation and permit is over $4,000.00 dollars. And I was told that if I have the door stained on exterior and painted on interior that would be an additional $500.00 because the installer has to wear latex glaves. Also that there is a possibility that the door may be damaged in transit.

Synchrony bank and loews actually closed my account after i been making payments on time. First they dtopped my line of credit from 3000 to 800 next i get a letter stating due to credit score, my account has been closed. Is this the way companies treat customers now?

lowes didn't close your acct the bank did that bank is screwy I have ( had ) an acct with them different store and I too got a letter saying my limit had been lowered due to my credit score mind you it had gone up since they issued the card but everytime I would go to pay the bill and put in my ss# it would say no such card so I don't know if they have had some kind of breach or just got peoples numbers wrong but that bank sucks

Lowes - Problems with LG french door refrigerator

I purchased an LG french door refrigerator about 1 1/2 ago. Recently we experienced the power loss for 5 days in my area in florida. The compressor went bad beyond repair and the tech said is a very common problem with the LG refrigerators, They boast about the ten years warranty in the compressor but they compressors dont live up to the standard. I have a whirpool refrigerator and went to so many storms and power failures and still running good. This fancy LG expensive with a lots of features is a fake product. Strongly advice Lowes to eliminate this product from your line of articles you sell in the store because is giving you a bad name. I called LG and they said they could no longer cover service of call or repairs because 1 year has already expired. Never crossed my mind that LG could sell such a bad quality product.

I really don't understand why people would buy a cheap Korean made appliance and complain because it is cheap. Oh wait!

All the cheap a55 consumers drove all the good appliance manufacturers into bankruptcy!

And now they expect the cheap Korean appliances they buy to be as good as the old US made ones were! Sorry, they are loooong gone now because of cheap consumers like you.
