I am very frustrated and disappointed with the customer service for Lowe’s products. I have been calling since 5/21 and was able to speak to someone one time. She told me to call back in three weeks, which I did and have been since with no answer. The recording says “call back at another time”!!! I tried chat, but she was unable to help me. She said I had to contact customer service. Good luck with that!! All I need is a replacement glass for my Portes fan. My ref #271****. I am just about at the point that I will buy a new fan to replace this one, and it won’t be Harbor Breeze! Susan Ferraro

Not happy

i have just spent over $1500.00 at the Leesburg Florida store. I have never seen so many uniformed employees in one store .After I finished making my purchase I asked how I could sign up for my military discount.

I was told to go to the check out area and they would assist me. The young lady there told me the person who does that was not there, I asked her if this person was coming back, she said she did not know, so i asked when she would be back, again she said she did not know.

I came back the next day and got a repeat session from someone else, so i went home and called the store, the person who answered said they do not do that in the store anymore they gave me a number to call.

I called the number and waited for 45 minutes for a living person to talk to, never happened. Robert Glodde

Are you sure you want to do that? You'll get the same kind of help should you need service. Just put what you would pay for the service plan in a savings account to go towards service or a new dryer if yours breaks down.

Dissatisfaction

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am writing regarding poor customer service and workmanship from your Boardman, Ohio 44512. I purchased and had a shower enclosure installed from your store. The experience was a complete disaster. For starters, The measurements were wrong which required another. Someone from your store attempted to install the shower door and did a terrible job. The door actually fell off the first time I opened it. This occurred before the person was out of my driveway. I immediately called him and after several attempts was able to somewhat get it secured. I was given a binder that was supposed to be picked up by someone to check on the job. That never happened. We were so disgusted with this experience we just thew the binder away and never heard a word from Loews. Fast-forward to now, the door is once again falling off. I might add, this entire process took approximately a year to complete. I decided to just forget about this and write it off to a bad decision until now. The poor installation is once again causing a hardship. I don't know what else to do beyond going through this entire process again. My request is for you to send someone who knows what they are doing to fix my shower door. I no longer have my paperwork from this job. My name is: Tom Frost 2177 Rosemont Rd. North Jackson, Ohio 44451 330-727-**** PLEASE RESPOND!!

Terrible Service

I ordered a generator and picked it up from this store. I put gas and oil in it because that's what you do with a generator in order for it to run. I realized it was not powerful enough for what I needed it for so I called on two different occasions to find out the return policy. Both times the women I spoke with told me I could bring it back within 30 days of when it was billed to my CC card which was when I picked it up. I brought it back 3 weeks after I picked it up. I told the woman at the return counter that it was not powerful enough so she must have figured out that I have to have put gas and oil in it. She told me I just need to bring it in and they would credit my card. I asked if it needs to be in the original box, which I had in my truck, and she said no. As I was bringing it in, a manager came out and told me they would not take it back because it was used. OF COURSE IT WAS USED. HOW WOULD I KNOW IT WAS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH. I called their 1-800 and was told the requirement to bring something back that required gas to run is to bring it back within 30 days and in the same package with no gas or oil in it. Then she did a little more research and told me that their policy did state that it could not have had gas in it. WAIT...WHAT...HOW IS SOMEONE SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF THE PRODUCT EVEN WORKS UNLESS YOU RUN IT?!?! And, if this is their policy, why did I have to waste so much time being told I could bring it back, bringing this insufficient thing back to the store, going through the return process, waiting for someone to bring a flatbed to my truck to unload and having to unload it myself before I was told they won't tack it back? I will be going to Home Depot from now on. BTW...The only reason I gave lowe's one star is because I can't put zero stars.

You may want to look closely at Home Depot's return policy before you run there. They will take back new in the box product.

Why don't you do your research on your power requirements before you make the purchase?

Now that you have put gas and oil in it, a store could only sell it as used equipment. Why should a store be expected to take a loss because you didn't do your research and purchase an generator with the power you needed?

It was a 3500/4000 watt generator. The most I tried to run at one time was 1800 watts.

I did do my homework.

I'm not stupid...... ***

Worst experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I went to Lowe's in Evansville, IN on May 18th and placed an order for a grill and paid for it $145 and change. After not getting any details on where my grill was I went into the store on May 26th to find out what's going, and they told me the vendor had cancelled my order but took the money so Lowes didn't want to refund me because they would have to eat the cost. After arguing with the lady, she finally refunded my money in all 5's. Today, May 30th, I went back to the same Lowes to go ahead and buy a different one. I wanted the same brand just a size bigger which cost more money which I was prepared to pay. They didn't have one in a box, so I was going to have to take one already put together. That was fine also except I didn't have a screwdriver on me. They wouldn't let me borrow one. They told me I had to buy one. I told them to keep their grill. You've lost a sale. I'm also a Lineman, my company shops there often. We'll take our business elsewhere.

Waited nearly two hours to find special order

My son and I spent from 5:20-8:00 in Lowes Russell, Ky. store waiting on a special order door which had never arrived.

The ladies at the service desk should have saw when they found the order number up the door had never been shipped despite Lowes having left me a voicemail saying my door was ready for pickup.twice two cashiers at the service desk looked my order up and printed info to give another clerk to find my door. Both cashiers failed to notice the door hadnt been shipped from the factory as a result of their oversight we spent nearly two hours in the store wasting our time and the employees time who were looking as well. An hour later I Went to a cashier at the self check out ask to speak to a manager. She paged a manager none ever showed that was about another 15-20 minutes waiting the cashier after no response from a manager or assistant manager.

The cashier walks to what Im assuming is office knocks on door no one apparently is in the office. The cashier pages a manager on the intercom a second time asking for a manager. No one ever showed if the manager or assistant manager was at lunch I feel after hour and forty minutes the manager should have ample time to back from lunch. But again Im sure Lowes doesnt give 2 hour lunch breaks. Which makes me wonder where a manager or assistant manager was?

When I worked retail there always was a manager or assistant manager in the store to run interference in case a situation would arise that employees werent able to handle. Which certainly held true in my case. My son had worked a 12 hour day he leaves for work at 4:30 in the morning. After work Tuesday evening he drove hour to my local Lowes store to specifically pick up the door I ordered.

I had plans for my door to be installed this week also. My son was already tired from long hours made hour drive to help me and spent nearly 2 hours in Lowes Russell,Ky. store while no one could find anything because the door wasnt there because there was an error from the voicemail I received on June 18. If someone at the Russell store would have noticed the door hadnt shipped yet we wouldnt had the issue.

But again it happened and it still begs to ask where was the manager and assistant manager where was someone who was in charge who could answered or had more training to see the door hadnt arrived? We left the store clueless the employees involved in looking didnt say we will try to find out whats wrong give you a call tomorrow. They said they couldnt find it they didnt know what to tell us. We didnt know.

Im not happy with Russell Lowes and yes the mistake came from the voicemail left saying my order was ready for pickup but as a result of the mistake its discovered the Russell Ky. Lowes has issues corporate needs to address.

False advertising

This whole rebate thing sounds like a Covid-19 Pscam to me. I'm the same boat as many others. I've been hung up on, I've been left on hold for hours, and lied to as well. Customer service is of no help and the stores lack any knowledge of what's going on. Shame on you Lowe's for not forfilling your end of the deal. I wish I'd just went with my first instinct which was to shop at Home Depot instead. I spent over 4 grand on appliances at Lowe's and was looking forward to using my rebate to finish upgrades. Never again Lowe's!

Poor Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I know all of you will say, they dont need your business. *** but I need their business. I live in a small racist town in Pennsylvania. I cant get one contractor to call me back. I was born and raised in NY. I have a college education. A good job. A house. Car. I have money for renovations. Yet these small town folks cant see beyond their inbred racist ways. So I have to go Lowes and deal with their awful customer service. There is not one people who actually cares about their job. Maybe its not the best job but it does pay. Customer service is part of that job. Long story short. If you use Lowes for renovations keep on top of the project at all times. Otherwise you will be waiting and wont get any phone calls until you follow up. Their point of contact people care even less than the in store reps. The kicker is that the same companies that dont call me back are subcontracted by Lowes. So they lose money when I could have just paid them instead of going through Lowes. Oh well enough complaining. I have a broken sliding glass door that Lowes delivered that I was told is not broken. Gotta do something about that now.

Ladybugs

I noticed they sold lady bugs 4 $10 was like wow. It was a hot day &;;;; warm in the garden section checkout. They had them poor lady bugs in a plastic container, really plastic, that's pretty suffacating & agonizing slow death for them little guys. But paying $10 just to set them free, honestly thinking about it now, I should of just set them free right then & there, maybe next time. To put any living thing in plastic when the weather is hot & humid is just death!

Taking advantage of the COVID19 crisis

Lowes - Taking advantage of the COVID19 crisis
Lowes on Narcoossee Rd in Lake Nona wont give you a store credit if you dont have the receipt. I just completed a large renovation on my home and, as anyone who has done a large reno project knows, there are extra materials you have left because you always have to buy extra and see exactly what you use. Since its a few little things, (less than $100 total on a $200,000 renovation), I dont have a receipt for these little items. Lowes REFUSES to give store credit! I know I dont get a refund. I have never had a problem like this with any other supplier. They have changed how they treat people since the onset of COVID 19. They feel like they can get away with anything now!

" I dont have a receipt " THE END. Your Fault...

As anyone who (has any sense) has been involved in any project or transaction knows, keep your receipts. If not, they don't want or have to play with you.

This has nothing to do with the bug, it has to do with you being stupid. Sell the @#$# on eBay and move on with your (chuckle) life.

I wouldn't want to take back your open packages either. First you have no way to prove you bought them there and second, who wants to purchase a product that has been opened.
