Lowes in Lowes, Kentucky - HORRIBLE

WE STARTED PLANNING TO PUT UP FENCE ( WHICH WAS NOT CHEAP)MY HUSBAND WENT, DID HIS HOMEWORK TO SEE HOW MUCH MATERIAL HE WOULD NEED AND SO FORTH. THE DAY OF THE DELIVERY, THEY COME AND DELIVER AND WE GET A PALLET OF THE CONCRETE THAT TAKES LONG TO DRY WHEN WE ALREADY KNEW AND HAD ORDEREDTHE RED BAG QUICK DRYING CEMENT. THE DAY THE WORKERS GET THERE TO START THE JOB WE HAD TO GO BACK TO LOWES TO GET THE CORRECT CEMENT AND TO GET MORE MATERIAL. AFTER PURCHASING THE EXTRA MATERIAL WE FOUND OUT WE NEEDED A BIGGER TRUCK . WE TOLD THE CASHIER COULD OUR STUFF BE PULLED AS SOMEONE WA COMING TO GET IT. WE WERE TOLD YES ALL THEY WORKERS HAD TO DO WAS TO GIVE THEM OUR PHONE # AND THEY COULD PULL IT UP . THEY PULLED UP OUR QUOTE AN STARTED ASKING OUR WORKERS WHY WAS THE MATERIAL DELIVERED IF ITHAS NOT BEEN PAID? STUFF OUR WORKERS HAD NO IDEA ABOUT. FINALLY WE HAD TO GO BACK TO THE STORE AND PRESENT OUR RECIEPT AGAIN , TO WAIT ANOTHER ALMOST HOUR AND A HALF BECAUSE ALL THE MATERIAL WE HAD PAID FOR HAD NOT BEEN PULLED YET . OUR FENCE JOB SHOULD COULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN TWO DAYS BUT BECAUSE OF THE ALMOST TWO HOUR DELAY NOW WE ARE HAVING TO HAVE THE PEOPLE COME OUT ANOTHER DAY THIS WEEKEND. PEOPLE NEED TO BE TRAINED MORE THOROUGHLY AND LOWES ALSO NEEDS TO HAVE MORE PEOPLE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE ETHICS . WE WENT HERE INSTEAD OF HOME DEPOT BUT NOW I DONT KNOW IF AFTER ABOUT $3000.LATER IF I WANT TO COME BACK.

Lowes in Charter Township Of Clinton, Michigan - Lack of Posted Policies

On 7/14 I had Lowe's setup an appointment for measurements to have a shower door installed. On 8/2 the subcontractor arrived, took measurements & left. Today 8/4 Lowe's provided the quote based on measurements. I felt the quote was excessive & asked for measurements since I had been charged $35. Ken/clerk & Bill/Assist Mgr. told me no I couldn't have the measurements. I asked why since I paid for them. Bill told me he would give me the money but not the measurements because that's their corporate policy. If Lowe's is going to have policies of this natural POST THEM & WRITE them into the contract!!!! It's that simple.

Home improvements? Haha....joke....youre "sale specialist" and i use that lightly", is unimformed, scatterbrained, and after a commission. We were spending tons of money ( flipping a house).. you guessed it, not now.....take the time, screen and train your ppl.....clearfield pa store, flooring dept.....AWFUL!!!

Fist and foremost, Lowe's Sales Specialist's have not earned commissions since 2011.

Secondly, they have seen and 16% pay reduction over the last five years...

forcing most "qualified / seasoned" individual to work in a specific trade field and no longer in the stores.

Sadly, the staff is very poorly trained, but please remember this is rarely that associates fault.

They are hired, and thrown out to the floor to deal with flippers and contractors...

or DIYers, who come into Home Improvement stores looking for professional grade knowledge and code information due to them not wanting to pay for a "professional" to do it for them.

Lowe's CEO gave himself a 14 million dollar bonus this year, also along side a new sales bonus system that makes it nearly impossible for the "little guys" on the ground to receive any sort of financial bonus for there hard work.

Lowes in Long Beach, California - Worst Customer Service Ever

I recently purchased several special order items from Lowes. I had a problem with the shower doors during installation and tried to call the store to resolve it. NO ONE would answer any of the store phones, not even the so called "operator". I had to call the corporate number to actually talk to someone. Although the person at corporate was professional and tried to be helpful, I think at least someone at the store should answer their phones. This is not the first time this has happened. A few months ago I bought some window coverings at another Lowes store location. When I tried to call someone at the store to check on my delivery status, no one would answer the phone. I just tried to contact the customer complaint department at Lowes to let them know why I will no longer be shopping at Lowes. The on line form would not go through, and when I tried to call the customer care number for feed back on store experience, it transferred me to a canned computer survey. It would not connect me to a live representative. This is why I will no longer shop at Lowes for anything again. They are not interested in your input, in customer service, only in your money. This has got to be the worst customer service experience I've had so far.

Lowes - Don't buy a shed

Went through Lowe's and purchased a 10x12 shed, with no date given on build and install. Never got a call from either Lowe's or The install company, called Lowes after 10 days of purchase and was given the install dept. told Heartland would *** with us. No *** happened, called Lowe's 2 days later to the install dept again. Then recieved a call from an "install company" in Denver telling us that our install wasn't going to happen for another 4 weeks......that would be over 6 weeks from purchase. We were also told Lowe's doesn't do the scheduling, there is a HUGE lack of communication from store to builders and installers. We are now behind by 2 weeks and soon to be more because we want our money back! Don't buy a shed from Heartland or through Lowe's.

Why did you even purchase the shed without asking how far out they were scheduling construction? Seems like this would be a question you would ask in the decision making process.

Lowes did not contact me as to when they would be delivering my refrigerator and I was not home to receive it. Then they could not tell me a delivery time for the following day. Now I'm stuck wasting another day waiting for them.

How are you wasting "another" day waiting for them? You claim they didn't tell you when they were going to make your delivery (very doubtful, they have always set a day and am or pm when I have had deliveries) so you obviously weren't sitting around waiting for them wasting a day. How can you say you will be wasting another day?

bought several appliances and when i had issues with one even when the extended warranty i was treated very poorly disrespected and taken for ever to get resolve and they dont care . I will never buy any products from Lowes and i will make sure any of my family member and relatives and friends dont make the same mistake and have to go getting treated this poorly after you spend thousands of dollars . Very poor culture in customer service in this company and it all start from the huge turnover they have .my summer needs will be purchased from other stores like home depot best buy .

Why do you think any other big box store would be any different? The manufacturer is responsible for their 1 year warranty, not the retail store.

Extended service plans are provided by another company, who in turn would be responsible for the repairs, again, not the retailer. Why don't you complain about the manufacturer or extended warranty vendor who are responsible for the repairs, rather than the retails store?

I have been through *** and have lowes to thank for it. I decided to purchase a refrigerator from lowes after min went out which turned out to be a huge mistake that has taken almost a month and is still not worked out. 1st i ordered online on thursday to have it delivered the following monday, i called the day before to confirm the delivery and was told "oh we didnt actually have that fridge in stock so we canceled your order" so i politely told the rep i would re order and chose another lowes in baton rouge that did have the one i wanted. this little hiccup pushed us back about a week. 2nd i decide to *** of work to be home for our delivery time. everything seems to go good the calls come its on its way and finally it shows up. Yay we have a fridge! the gentlemen unload it i sign for it and the truck drives away. i unwrap my brand new fridge to get it ready for installation and find the top under all of the protective wrapping is dented BADLY and so is the door and side. at this point i could care less how it looks i just wanted to be able to keep cold food in my house so i brought it in and hooked it up anyway. so i hook it up and everything seems to work well it just looks like it fell off the truck and i was pleased enough until i tried the water dispenser. yes it was as if i didnt have the water even hooked up, no ice no water nothing. so i called lowes and explained this to them and they scheduled a repair man to come out. another week rolls by and he shows up and tells us the water pump is not working and he will have to order a new one. i say ok whatever it will work eventually. 3rd HA! was i wrong. about 2 days after it was looked i noticed a beeping from the fridge telling me the door was ajar, on my closed fridge. i inspected the fridge and noticed the door was so badly bent the seal was opened along the side of the door. YAY! i get to call lowes again! This is part 2 of a 2 part complaint. this time i told them i wanted to return my fridge and they said "no problem we will have a new one out to you IN A WEEK at this point in my life I begin to feel like im in some kind of deal with the devil in which he gets everything he wants and I get continuously screwed. But hey I finally got everything fixed and my new fridge is on the way. Fast forward to today 8/2/17 the new fridge thats been a month in the making is on its way, the driver has called and I am at home and ready! The truck pulls up I go out to meet them and guess what! The fridge is NOT ON THE FREAKING TRUCK. So I was told by the driver to call the store and tell them the driver had the ticket but the fridge was not loaded so it was not delivered. I started this journey a very understanding person, I know accidents happen and you just have to work through them but I think this is enough to push anyone over the edge.

Poor communication and shoddy products from Lowes

We had laminate flooring put down throughout our house 2 years ago and the nightmare still continues. For 1.5 years they came out monthly to re-glue the floors because the boards shifted and left big gaps. Then we agreed to pay more to get tile put down in the whole house. A few months ago we noticed the grout coming out. The installer showed up the morning to remove the old grout and replace it but can do nothing because stuff needs to be packed up and moved. We told Lowes that we were not moving everything this time, we have been very accommodating and moved everything both previous times. So the installer can only do one room today. Lowes has refused to take responsibility for their shoddy materials. The lack of communication is appalling. Save yourselves much heartache and do not use Lowes for any home improvement projects. They discontinued selling the grout because of all the problems they have had but refuse to take responsibility.

What did you expect when you shopped at a "DISCOUNT SELF SERVICE home improvement" store? That's what they are, and always will be.

That's how and why they put all the small flooring companies out of business. But so sorry, too late to save them now!
