Placed an order with Lowes on-line for over $8.000.00 worth of appliances on 8-9-17. On 8-9 I get a call from the LakePark Store what I would like my order delivered we agree on a delivery date of 8-17-17. Got a call from the Lowes delivery company at &:50 am on 8-12-17 telling me my order will be there between 9 and noon, I explain to the delivery company that I live in Boston and im scheduled for delivery on the 17th I hang up confused so I called the Lowes store that Saturday and made sure that I was all set for the 17th I also told the store that I live in Mass and have to fly to FL to accept delivery , we confirmed a delivery date of 8-17-17 with a delivery window of 9 to 12. All good right ??? On 17th , 3 PM comes and no call, I called the store spoke with the delivery department, I was told that the appliances haven't even arrived in the store from the manufacturer , I asked to speak to a manager , only to be told the store manager was at another location and would return my call on Friday the 18th , as you all guessed NO call from anyone at Lowes on the 18th, on 8-22-17 I thought to myself okay maybe the manager got busy so I called the store myself .... That call was Useless !!!! no return call until 8-25-17, at that time I was told that the appliances wouldn't be in the store until 9-27-17 from the manufacturer. Now folks we're talking about a washer/dryer unit , fridge, stove and microwave ,, nothing special right ?? Finally I get a call from the store on 9-1-17 everything but the washer Dryer unit was in and would I like to set up a delivery date --- SURE !! So I make plans to fly once again to FL with a delivery date 9-8-17 , okay mother nature had other ideas and a hurricane got in the way of those plans, flight was canceled so I called the store to set a new delivery date,, to be determined. On 9-11-17 I called the store and asked about delivery, I was told that they came through the hurricane okay and would I like a new delivery date of 9-15-17,, told delivery that I needed make sure I can get a flight out and call the store back , called back , 9-15-17 will be fine , delivery window between 9 to noon. GREAT !!! You'll never guess,,,,,, no call from Lowes delivery but I did get a text stating my delivery window would be 9-12 on the 15th 2 pm comes no call so I call them,,, finally I call Lowes delivery at 2 and they were shocked to hear that I hadn't heard from anyone ,, at 3 PM on the 15th , I get a call,,,driver was running late , would it be okay if we delivered on the 16th in the morning , they didn't have a time , I said no problem give me a call me in the morning ,,,but ,,,, I have flight out at 5 Pm on the 16th back to Boston so they cant be any later than 1 or 2 pm, ..its Monday 9-18-17 at 9 am I just canceled my $8.096,43 order and still no call from the store !!!! Lowes doesn't need my money I guess so they wont be getting any more ......I will never step foot in another lowes store ever!!!!

Lowes review in Wood Village, Oregon: Poor Customer Service

On or about 9/15/17, went in to the Wood Village, OR store to get some bark mulch that was on sale. Was told they were completely out and don't issue rain checks. The ad just came out and still has time on it so why not a raincheck ? really poor customer service ...I can see why there are so many complaints against them Not a place I want to shop at again if this is their policy . Someone in upper mgmnt needs to address this issue or you will lose even more customers . I will make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from this retailer

That means you can send upper management a letter.

That is something any customer can do.

That information is probably on their website, which you can find.

Lowes review: Poor Service

Every time I go into the lowes in vero beach or any other one, I regret it. The service there is the worst. Try to find someone to help u load heavy items into your cart or car u wait at least 15 min. Then they r rude about it. Comparing them to Home Depot service, there is no comparison. I give lowes 2 stars and Home Depot 5. U go into Home Depot and there's a person in every isle asking u if u need help. I don't have to go running all over the store, or stand outside waiting for 15 min. That's what it took this time to get help outside to load

You are shopping at a big box Home Center, not a full service store. You shouldn't expect a lot of loading help in a big box store.

Lower levels of service is why their pieces are lower. Don't know where you are but Lowes usually has more employees than Home Depot.

I've had and used my Lowe's credit card for 11 years. I was never late on a payment, always paid more than the minimum due, and never went over my limit. Even with all that, when my credit score dropped a little bit, Lowe's showed no decency to a loyal, long time customer and closed my account! That's no way to do business! It's okay though. I'll give my business to Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and other more respectable places. I also have plenty of friends and co-workers who will gladly be taking their business elsewhere.

They deal with the same banks HD and other retailers use.

Maybe if you weren't a dead beat and had a higher credit score you wouldn't lose your account. *** !

You can take your business elsewhere.

Your friends and family can take their business elsewhere.

But the fact still remains that Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and other home improvement DIY stores do not extend credit.

The independent credit companies these business do business with extend credit.

So when you, a friend of yours, or a family member experiences the same thing, you will still have to contact the independent credit company. Nothing changes when you, your friends, or a family member does business with a different DIY store, and you *general you* buy on credit.

You are barking up the wrong tree. Lowes has nothing to do with your account other than that their name is on the card.

Stores don't extend credit, independent credit companies do. You should be complaining about the credit company that closed your account, not Lowes.

Started kitchen remodel project with Lowes in Mooresville and received horrible service. Never received calls back without calling multiple times. Job was never finished and we had to finish it on our own. Drywall was gouged, trim work not completed, door knobs not completely installed and multiple unnecessary screw holes found in the drywall that had to be fixed. Multiple attempts were made to have the installers fix these issues and nobody made a return visit. Lowes wanted to come back to my house to take photos of "their finished project" and we refused to let them come back out to take photos of the work that we had to finish even though we paid them to do it! Beware! Take your business elsewhere!

Lowes review: Mislead

We brought a refrigerator, range, and dish washer on September 10, 2017 at 1200 north Muldoon, anchorage AK. The sale person told us they will delivery and install all my appliances that we brought from them . After they delivered they told my husband that they can't install the dishwasher because they are not certified and we will have to pay someone who is certified to come and install it for us. It will cost us an extra $200.00 I called and complaints to the store manager and told him that their sale person mislead us to believe that they will install everything that we brought from then . The Manager said if we are not happy then return the appliances but they already took our old appliances? He just said sorry . I will not buy anything from them again, they are not honest and they should have fix the problem.

We ordered a large refrigerator from Lowe's which was not in stock. It arrived ahead of competing suppliers and at a lower price. Michael the store manager arranged to have it delivered the Friday of a holiday weekend so that we would not be without a refrigerator for the weekend. He came with Colton, Alex, Charles, Garland, Eduardo, Justin and JP because the removal of our old unit was massive and built in and the difficult installation of the new unit required so many people and specialties. They all were professional, courteous, and knowledgable. They took great care in protecting our wood floors and other furniture throughout the process. We could not be more appreciative of their excellent service!!! Thank YOU!!!

I had always liked Lowe's better than Home Depot, so went there to buy a replacement microwave. Salesman took all of the info, was going to check inventory, then started waiting on another customer. After hanging for over ten minutes, I told him we were going to leave and did not appreciate him just leaving us. He could not care less, said goodbye. So much for Lowe's service. Funny that they had been recommended by another company that did not have what we wanted. We went to Best Buy, had a beautiful experience, and vowed not to hit this Lowe's again. Such rude service.
