Lowes - Leaking toilet

Had 2 toilets installed by lowes installation service approximately 3 weeks ago. 1 started leaking from the water supply line. Called a reputable plummer. Told us plastic line was cracked and not tightened enough on both toilets. Also tank and bowl were not tightened properly. Will not use lowes installation companies again.

Lowes - Window blinds installer has been here 3 times so far

We purchased custom blinds for our new home which took several weeks to manufacture. The installation was supposed to take 1 day. The hardware was sent to our local LOWES and sat there for 2 weeks awaiting the installation which could not be scheduled until after they had received our product. The first time the installer was over an hour and a half late saying he was stuck in traffic and had to stop and get gas on the way. Some of the blinds are about 18 feet from the floor and are motorized. During the first install time he said they didn't send the remotes so he would have to come back for that. "They" also sent the wrong hardware for our vertical blinds for the sliding glass door. And 1of the valences was to long and he didn't bring a saw. He said it would be a min of 2 additional weeks to get the correct hardware and the remotes. Again we had to wait for the hardware to arrive before we could schedule the installer to come out AGAIN. The next time he came out he forgot the ladder he needed to program the remote for the upper blinds. When he went to install the vertical blinds he ,at that point, finally realized he never verified the rest of the hardware for the verticals, we are still missing the clips to attach the valence on the verticals. On the 3rd trip he was able to fix the motorized blinds. It is going to be ANOTHER 2 WEEKS to get the correct clips and then we have to schedule a 4th install. So far the one day install has been going on for over 3weeks and we have to wait at least another 2 weeks. The installer has been at least 30 min. lat 2out of 3 times, and has not brought the correct tools 2 out of 3 times. Overall I would rate my experience with Lowe's and there installer as very poor, less than 1star. If I performed at this level, I would be out of business.

we went to lowes to order faux wood blinds , there was problems ,but we're waiting for the people to come to measure our windows, they are supposed to be here between 10:00am and 11:00am, it's 10:25and no show. If they don',t show up ,we will cancel our order with Lowe's, and go to someone that's dependable.I will NEVER order anything else from Lowe's !

Lowes - Bath remodel halted due to faulty installation

Lowes provided a general contractor who hired an incompetent tile person to install the REQUIRED and expensive Lowe's waterproofing system (Schluter Kerdi). What a mess. Our hardwood floors have been seriously damaged by the tile person removing the toilet and setting it on floors in a puddle of water. Lowes came out to check on the damages and advised the general contractor to contact us to finish the job. Of course Lowes has their money and is taking no financial responsibility to address the problems they caused. I noticed Lowe's has a contractor license in each state and wonder if the licensing board keeps a record of complaints against the company? Never ever use Lowes and keep spreading the word. Class action maybe?

Lowes - Warranty not honored.

I purchased a push mower last year from Lowe's. Along with mower I also purchased a 3 yr. extended warranty. Someone I hired to mow my lawn wrecked and bent the mower blade. Engine is running like a trashing machine. He did not tell me what he had done. I discovered the mower damage this weekend( 06/17/17) when neighbor offered to mow my lawn. I took the mower in to Lowe's today 06/19/17 where I purchased it and was told I have no coverage for human caused damage. What????? What is warranty for then? I have a new mower I can't get fixed because it was quoted it will cost $120.00 to fix it. Will never buy from Lowe's again or ever purchase large items and extended warranties from them. I called the 1-888-77LOWES service number was told to take it to store. As a results I never felt so frustrated in a store as I do with Lowe's.

Warranties and service plans cover DEFECTS, not DAMAGE. Take some time to read the warranty and you will understand why they didn't cover the repair.

If you buy a new car and on the way home drive it into a tree, would you expect the manufacturer to repair the car under warranty?

Same thing here, the someone you hired hit something hard enough to damage the mover. I suggest you look to the person you hired to pay for the repair.

Uh, a human caused the damage to your mower. Something was hit that was solid enough to bend your blade?

How in the world is that a manufacturing defect? That is all your extended warranty covers. That is all ANY warranty covers.

So he hit something that bent the blade and also bent the connecting rod or spun a bearing. Not the manufacturers OR Menard's fault.

Lowes in Mansfield, Ohio - Delivery

On June 11th around noon, we placed an order for 3 sheets of plywood and a shower stall. No email, phone call, text msg or notice whatsoever about when they would be delivering. At 10 am the next morning we get a voicemail that they had been to the delivery spot and since no one was there, they had left. Again, absolutely no warning or notice at all. When husband called, we were told that they do not have to wait and we were given 2 hours notice. Which we were not given any notice at all. $100 for a delivery I needed as soon as possible, and was told that I had to now wait an additional 8 days to schedule delivery again. My husband called this morning first thing about when delivery will be today and was treated horrible by the woman who answered the call. They have forever lost our business. We have just began this home remodel and will now be going to Menards or Home Depot for our construction/supply needs.

Lowes - Paint area!!!!

we waited over 40 minutes to get one gallon of paint. There was one person in front of us, and we knew it was going to be a few minutes... but dang, he had 3 gallons of paint and they did not match in color!!! The worse thing is that the man seemed very lethargic. He was so slow, and he didn't seem to care. We have always gone to Lowe's and will continue, but not in the paint area, unless someone else is there!!! We have bought cabinets, appliances, tiles, and bathroom pieces there... Please hear our plea to get other help in the paint department!!!

Maybe go to a real paint store some time. If there are any still in business in your area since Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's and such have driven them all out of business.

They all suck at customer service so why would they worry if you had to wait for your paint? Eventually you will come back to them after you find out they aren't any worse than anyone else.

Lying Lowes employee calls police on a false vpo

Customer with his wife went in to Father's Day shop and on seeing his ex, went to the opposite end of store to purchase. Without speaking to her or bothering her. They called over the intercom for a lock down and police came. She had called them and stated she had vpo They detained him only to discover that there was NO vpo at all and released him. The wife was terrorfied. Why is she still working there! She caused a scene at the store and caused problems over her lie

Lowes - Balzac location

My husband and I have been searching for a vanity for our bathroom for quite a while and finally found on we could agree on. We required assistance to get it down off the shelving. After waiting 25 minutes, after pushing the assistance button, I decided the manager needed to be contacted. His name was Glen and in all my years of customer service have never before met a manager that does not give a *** about his customers, until I met Glen. I told him how long we have been waiting and that we pushed the assistance button multiple times. He didn't even know what the assistance button was. He told me he would get someone over to us as soon as they are finished doing what they are currently doing. Little did he know that I was advised by another associate that most staff was on break. I told him that another guy was waiting as well in the area and had his timer on his phone running , he set it after hitting the assistance button, and it was now at 35 minutes. I told that manager that we shop there all the time and that their customer service has gone severely downhill in the last 6 months. He didn't even care . He would not look me in the eye. I lefty full cart at the front of the store and walked out without any sort of satisfaction from any staff including the manager. I honestly think that Lowes should take a look at this manager and his behaviour. I do not feel that I cannot spend my hard earned money at store that does not care . Like I said before I shop there allot but there are many home improvement stores around that actually have staff and management that will go out of their was to help.

I too have had similar experience. In windows section I pushed call button and waited and waited.

So I decided to go look for an employee and could not find ONE...I then went to till and asked teller if she was the only one working, it was creepy,thinking I and a few customers were the only ones in building.

She the had to call store manager and he did meet us in windows after 5 min wait. I am from smalltown 1.5 hrs away and was very disappointed with Lowes!

Unfortunately the store manager doesn't have control over how many people the can have on staff. That is determined by a higher level of authority and he is probably just as frustrated about it as the customers are.

That is part of the whole "discount self-service do it yourself warehouse" market that Lowe's is a part of. Menard's, Home depot and all the others are in the same situation.

They have to make such small profit margins to keep cheap a55es coming to their stores that they can't afford to pay anyone to work there. Been going on for years and is only going to get much, much worse so get used to it.

Installed Feb. 2017. Kitchen and utility room. Ripped out, June 2017. Installation error caused water damage including black mold to baseboards and drywall. Situation: Purchased Geospring Water Heater from Lowes in 2012. Very satisfied. Similar to an AC unit, these drain condensation through a condensation line. Code requires drain. Installer installed vinyl planks over the portion of the drain needed for the condensation. This caused water to go onto the floor, then under the baseboards, then under the floating floor and through the kitchen. Because of the location, I did not realize the problem for 4 months. Who would think a floor installation could cause a leak? Baseboards had some mold, but drywall had terrible black mold. Floor was ruined. A swimming pool underneath. Insurance company sent restoration out, they ripped up the floor, sealed the utility room until the mold issue was resolved. Between my deductible, and new seepage rules, 14 days to notify insurance company, even if concealed. I will be paying this myself. Lowes never came down to inspect. I am not handy. But, if I was installing a floor, and saw a black open end tube over a drain, I would not put a floor over any part of the drain. Will be going to court. Photos are of black tube blocked and open.

Never use the stores installers. Lowe’s and Home Depot Installers are usually not licensed.

So that makes them Jake legs.

We have gone behind and cleaned up their messes more than once. Their products are of a lesser quality.
