Problems contacting anyone other than an associate

I am writing to issue a complaint for an order that I was to pick up today at my online designated Lowe’s store. I made the order and was told to wait for an email that my order was ready, I saw that it was and went to my designated store. The store I use consistently in North Colorado Springs. When I got there I parked in the pick up area, but had to go into the store contrary to Lowe's directions say to show my order. After standing there for over 10 minutes, because it was also the return desk, I was informed that first, my order had been cancelled, I told the clerk, “I am here, I did not cancel it. Then I was told it was at a store 18 miles from my home. I live in another Colorado town and NEVER shop in that store, too far away. I am a 71 year old disabled veteran with an underlying condition, that is why I chose the PICK UP option. I was so discouraged by Lowes confusing and inaccurate directions, I may not be a customer again. I realize that these are difficult times, however, Lowes needs to improve communications with regard to any customer's issues. I have tried to get an email for corporate, but they do not list one. Had an online chat with an associate, who apologized but could not help in any other way. Asked for the corporate email, could not give me one. So apparently, corporate DOES NOT want to hear about any issues.

This site tells you how to complain and to whom for whatever problem you have. If you recall your military days, recall the term SNAFU and you will understand what goes on at large corporations nowadays.

Ordered 4 appliances for kitchen. Delivery guys rude and angry. Left dishwasher in box in livingroom. Refrigerator and stove loaded with plastics, tapes and styrofoam . One delivery guy told me products would be damaged in a fit of anger. He wad correct. Stove has huge dent. They did not make sure things worked like Lowe's website promises. On way out they threw heavy water hookups on flat stove top. Do not get appliances delivered by Lowe's.

I called to find the status of the vanity I had ordered a week prior and after giving the representative my emailed confirmation number, telephone number and email address used she informed me there was no order by any of those contacts and that the email address of the sender was not Lowes, she said there was nothing she could do for me. I asked to speak to her superior and she hung up.. I called my local Lowes store and they were able to track down my order in seconds. I will continue to shop at Lowes but I will never make any online orders threw them again.. I was unaware of the horrible reputation they have with online orders.

They built a deck for us in 2017 and now the railings are sagging and the nails are popping out. This was a TREX deck and it cost $8000. Guess it is time for an attorney as Lowe's McKinney will not talk to us after going in to the store 6 times. Contacted TREX and we have a letter stating the deck was not built to their specifications.

My deck was more than double that; it's been almost 2 years and I still have screws popping out all over, or not actually attached to anything, boards popping off, broken boards. Lowe's might want to rethink deck building business.

AND the deck took almost 3 months to build!!!! Was supposed to be done by Aug 1 and did not complete until October 1.

Carpeting purchase

Be aware that the people that field measure do not maximize the layout. There is a lot of waste because they "Service Pro" must benefit from selling you more carpet than you need. Check their work because their idiots. I needed 650 square feet and they wanted to charge for 816.

Lowe's Customer services 3/23/20 I purchase a Samsung washer from Lowes and a five-year protection plan. I contacted Lowes on Feb 2, 2020 to let them know that my washer stopped working. Lowe's sent out a tech to fix the machine. The tech has been out at least four times and has replaced 5 parts and the washers still doesn't work. Supposedly, they need to order an additional part to fix the machine. Lowe's has been telling me since March 10th that the part is in; however, whenever I call Lowe's they said the part is in or is coming in tomorrow. The last time I spoke to customer service representative on March 23, and I tried to plead my case, I was told that I needed wait for the part and be patient. When I asked why is it taking so long for part; I was told most likely it's due to the coronavirus. The sad part is that My husband and myself have been going to a laundromat since Feb 2 and that was okay; until this very serious pandemic of the coronavirus. I wish Lowe's would set up and do the right thing and replace the washer instead of playing games.

A hint for the future---never buy a fridge with an ice maker or a water dispenser. They tend to go awry sooner, rather than later.

Broken toe

Broke my toe on Sunday because of the lack of employees or people that care at this Lowes. Couldn't find a manager to report it to. As usual with this store. No one wants to work. Going to home depot from now on,and I'm a diabetic. Hopefully I don't lose a toe for their incompetence

If you are in such poor health you should be staying home during the pandemic. These stores are short handed as their employees are staying home to take care of their children while schools and day care centers are closed. Unfortunately big box home centers are some of the few stores open and are swamped with business.

Receive 2 new appliances

Recently purchased 3 new much needed appliances from Lowes - as they had the best price for the items we wanted. Maytag washer was delivered and installed in less than 20 min. from start to finish. Awesome and works great! The refrig had many problems communicating with deliverer schedulers. However, the original date for arrival WAS performed as promised and the installation was fabulous. These movers know what they are doing!! Waiting for last item to be scheduled &;;;;;;;;;;;; delivered, but the installer (Arthur) has kept in touch and communicated, so hoping for the same excellent installation service. Helen B

Tax exempt denial

On 27 Jun I purchased several hundreds of dollars worth of bldg supplies at the Broken Arrow, Ok (1900 East Hillside) store. At checkout, I provided my retired military ID, driver's license and my newly issued 100% disability/tax exempt card to Angela but was "denied" the tax exempt benefit because there was no phone number associated with it in the automated database. I was told that "I must leave the line and go to customer service to register "it" first. I looked puzzled at Angela because she looked me up with My Lowes phone number, I provided physical proof of my D/L. Military ID, and disability card...all while answering other personal identification info from the database. I love shopping at Lowes but feel disheartened by this "procees" that no other businesses require...that I have experienced thus far. Thank you - Steve

Registering is obviously something you don't do at the checkout line tying up the cashiers. That is why they have you do it at the service desk.

I purchased aluminum insulation. it is light wt, tough material, easy to cut and install, I installed next to aluminum roofing too hot to touch. heat reflected and temp dropped immediately 10 degrees. this works better and is easier to handle than bulky roll insulation.

Made a large purchase at 11:00 to pick up later. Arrived at 4:30, no one knew anything about it. Found someone who said he would start on it. Saw him leaving a few minutes later. Asked again and still no one was starting on my order. Hour later my order was finally started but a yellow truck was parked in front of items needed for my order. Associate said it was a customer. Finally asked for a manager. She opened the door slightly and I observed a man sitting at her computer. I explained my problem and them man left, in the yellow truck that had been blocking my order for an hour. Order finally started but then manager stops because cashier didn't put on receipt that part of my order was for pick up so looked like I already got it. After waiting 2 1/2 hours, waiting for manager's male friend to leave, and being called a liar, I finally left with my order. I have written the CEO of Lowes and will never return to this store.
