My storm was Special order I was told that it would take 2 weeks but it took longer After I was call this told me that the installation people would call me And that took another week ..when the installation csme out the storm door had a lot glue on it it took them 2 days to get back with me after that i did not hear any thing i call them may 5 2017 at that i was told it will take 14 day i call them may 24 cause the installation had not call they said the only had installation day may 31 im veryThe boss that I spoke with says she did not own a storm door if she on a stormdoor her she will be locked up in jail because of her children ....

I usually have a good experience at Lowe's however of late the customer service performance is lacking. I am a loyal customer and have purchased many items, stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and all of our home air conditions. We have been happy with the products. The people at customer service are not educated on the computers of how to make sure a product is delivered. I purchased a air conditioner to have before my husbands up coming surgery. I was told someone would call to schedule a time, knowing they do not deliver on Saturdays I have someone call on a Saturday to let me know someone would call to schedule a time. A lady the wife of the delivery person, Mike, called to schedule a time, said it would be May 26th Friday between 8-12 noon. I said this could not be because of my husbands pending surgery, she stated that they lived on Cimmeron a street about 6 blocks from us and would check if he could deliver it on Monday after work and they would call, no call, so, on Wednesday May 24th, my grandson said let me got get it with grandpa, no lifting, They went to the store, and NO ONE seem to know what was going on, the lady finally told my husband and grandson the air conditioner was not there, but being delivered from the manufacturer?? I purchased the air conditioner off the floor. After a lot of confusion it was determined, the lady had no clue and finally someone said well the deliver person has it on his truck and was delivering it that day, hum no call as to that delivery UNTIL I took matters into my own hands, I knew how long it took me to even get the delivery paperwork, as it took 45 minutes for it to even be purchased because NO ONE knew how to put it in the computer, it was sort of how many people does it take to put it into the computer?? 4 only one person knew how to do it so others learn on my time! Now no one knew where the Air conditioner was, when my husband took the paperwork and had the money refunded the receipt was not returned, he stated the customer service was not nice, seem put out, really! ....... thus, I called and it took on a different conversation. This is not the first time with this situation, we live in Texas Hot weather people! After my husband and grandson went back a second time, magically the A C was there , it had been on the delivery truck all that time and by the time someone called to deliver the AC we had it and my grand son had it installed, amazing. I do not like Home Depot...because they are just a rude, so I do not know why no one does not know how to place delivery orders into the computer but it is called Classes. I am not the only person to have this type of experience, so think maybe customer service through out the store needs to be re-educated, the only person who took really good care of me while I was purchasing a product was a young man named Ryan, good job. Sorry this is long but really when we pay up front we expect a better delivery system. I have never paid 109.00 to have a product delivered in town, maybe you need to have better delivery systems as this one is to messed up. when I explained to the wife of the delivery person and said we have got to have this, and would have to check into cancelling out the delivery and try to get it sooner than later, she was oh I will try to get it sooner, the never getting a call literally before we just picked it up on a Wednesday was so off putting, such a lack of communication, Thank You Judy Ovington

Lowes - Lowe's The Company Who Could Care Less

Wow, Lowe's really doesn't have any customer care. I was trying to buy a Gas Grill for my daughter who lives in another town. I didn't want to buy the grill and rent a truck to haul it up and I didn't want to drive up and buy it and come home. I though like most other retailers we could buy it here and she could pick it up there (I mean after all these stores are not individually owned). They not only said no, they weren't even nice. They said it would be easier to buy it online (easier for them maybe). The store includes free delivery and set up, online does not. Maybe I am wrong, and if they had had the least amount of polite behavior I would not be writing, but they were not even nice about it and basically sneered and talked down to me about how *** my idea was. Who knows, maybe they are right, but Lowe's just died and will never rise again around myself and my friends.

Lowes in Goose Creek, South Carolina - "Free" design and remodeling consultation is not free

Free means free, right? If something is offered only contingent on paying for another service (like a general contractor to carry out your remodeling), then is it free? Absolutely not. Watch out everyone! My intent was to buy every item for a complete kitchen remodel from Lowes, including floors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, the works! Ten of thousands of dollars of stuff! A little free design consultation up front would have been a terrific way for Lowes to up-sell, or at least make a big buyer happy. But apparently that's not the way it works. When I mentioned that while I'll buy all the stuff from Lowes, I intend to do most of the installation myself, then the conversation got a little awkward. It took a little while to finally get back to "well no, we don't offer design consultation unless the general contractor is hired". Surprise! Don't get me wrong, I use Lowes all the time. I like them. But this consultation scheme gave them a black eye in my opinion.

Lowes - Lowe's is flaky when it comes to honoring protection plans

Less than a year ago, I purchased a riding lawn mower and spent HUNDREDS extra for a 4 year protection plan. Last week, the mower stops working, so I call for service. They tell me that the provider will come get the mower the next day, and they'll call for directions first. Next day, no one calls, no one comes. The next day was a Sunday, so on Monday I call again. I'm told the provider will call me that day or the next. Here it is the next day and still no call. At this point, I just want a refund or exchange. I have no faith in Lowe's and their "protection plan", and I certainly have no faith in this nameless " provider" who can't even be bothered to make a phone call. I will never purchase anything big enough to want a warranty at Lowe's again. I'd love to know who this "provider" is too, so I can make sure never to use them.

You purchased a service plan from Lowes that is provided by an outside vendor. Just as the basic warranty on the mower was the responsibility of the manufacturer of the mower, the responsibility for the repair under the service plan is the responsibility of the plan provider. It seems to me that a logical person would be complaining about the plan provider and not the retail store where they purchased the plan.

Lowe's sells the warranty and should stand behind a warranty they sell. Do not push the responsibility off on the provider, Lowe's should monitor their choice in companies/provider's they use.

When you walk into to Lowe's you shop there because you expect good service from them in whatever degree it is.

So after all the comments I reading about poor reviews on Lowe's warranty I will now be reading Home Depot's reviews. I use to prefer Lowe's but I have a open mind.

Sorry but if you slap your name all over something you can’t turn around and claim you have nothing to do with it. Lowe’s sells the extended plan and they’re who you contact to schedule service through a third party.

A logical person would know Lowe’s is making money on this otherwise they wouldn’t bother with selling them to begin with. To claim Lowe’s has no skin in the game in disingenuous.

Lowes - Lowe's doesn't honor protection plans

Purchased a lawnmower less than a year ago, and got the 4 year protection plan. Last week, my mower's brakes stop working. So we call Lowe's, and they say someone will be out to get it the next day, a Saturday. No one comes. Monday we call again. They tell us the "provider" will call that day or today. Still no call. Going to call Lowe's again later and see if can just exchange the mower. My yard is turning into a jungle while they and their "provider" sit on their thumbs. Won't buy big ticket items at Lowe's ever again.

Probably something you can fix---an adjustment or something came loose. Now you know why it is almost always a waste of money to buy these protection plans.

See if you---or someone you know who is good at these things---can fix it and then put a sign on it out front and sell it.

Then, find a local John Deere dealer in your area---an acutal dealer, not a big box store that happens to sell John Deere mowers---and buy a machine that will last and if you do have a problem, the dealer will pick it up and fix it. You failed to mention the brand.

I called them to put a warrenty on a bloiwer that i got from you, and she took the money out of my acc twice, i have called them twice about it, and she was very uglg to me and hung up on me, i buy from yall all the time, and im tried of being rude to, she had no right to be that way to me, and no right to chargre me twice, if something isnt done i will never go back, i will start doing everything at home depot. Im redoing my home and i brough alot of my stuff from you, but the way i was treated over this, i want anymore

Lowes - Poor customer service everyone looks really sad

Home Depot is not even a mile down the road and thats where i am headed..... I was looking for a skylight representatives were standing around talking to one another so I interrupted their conversation and the reply was go ask the different set of employees which were in conversation as well this time they pointed me into the direction aware they were which was 5 ale's on the other side of the store. I walk down every aisle in the general direction that they pointed I found where they were at and they were sold out very very bad management at this store I would stay away you will not leave happy unless you know exactly what you're looking for because if it's customer service you are not going to get it go to Home Depot I like it better there so will you

You had no idea of what the people you interrupted were discussing. They may well have been discussing an order for another customer or some other issue.

You obviously weren't in the window department where skylights are sold and got directed in that direction. And if the 2nd set of people sent you down 5 more isles you still weren't in the window department.

If you go to Home Depot and start asking for help with skylights in the garden department they will send you inside to the window department, but if you stop in appliances and ask for information on skylights you won't get it there either...they will send you down the aisle to windows. You must be one of those people that go to the grocery store and ask the guy in the produce department to wrap you up a nice steak from the meat counter....life just doesn't work that way.

Highland, CA Store - Just terminated my employment with Lowe's last Saturday. Stuck in Outside Lawn and Garden on a sunny California Saturday with no help, because of sick calls. Called overhead for assistance twice - 15 people in line and rude management when they approached me. This has happened twice in front of customers and fellow employees. Asked head cashier for assistance with customer who wanted to make credit card payment (I hadn't performed this task yet). Was told in front of customers and other employees that I should know how to do this - "This is cashiering 101." Had to call 6 times for cash register change with no response from head cashiers. Hired part time (my choice) but put on full time due to "summer hours and vacations." Shouldn't you ask me first Lowe's? Customer asked to order Hass Avocado tree. Primary lawn and garden expert was out and I was told by head cashier to tell the customer to come back on Monday when she returned (4 days later). Are you serious Lowe's? Because a person is on vacation the whole operation stops? Customer was upset and said he would go to Home Depot. Assistant manager's roaming or parked in offices. Head cashier sitting in break room. When called will say "it will be awhile before I can get there." Dodging until customers get tired of waiting and leave. Shop lifter came thru lawn and garden - I was there by myself with long line. Got a call from Loss Prevention that I should have been more attentive. When I tried to respond they hung up on me. Overheard several complaints from other employees about how bad the management is there.

Lowes - Bought Lawn Mover online

Very Bad Service, I ordered lawn mower online, after ordered I got an email that I will receive my product in 2 to 7 days but I never. So after 2 week I called customer service, they put me hold for half hours than they tranfer the call to another person she said please hold waited again half hour and finally one person pick up the phone, i gave all the order detailS to her. She said we are out of product and your order will be shipped in 2 days once we got the product. I waited another 1 week to get any update but no one called or emailed me finally I called customer service again same thing over the phone no proper answer. At the last one girl told me if you want you can cancel your order. After waited almost a month I canceled my order. Very very poor service never buy from Lowes.
