Lowes review in Rolla, Missouri: Poor customer service

I had a complaint as to why I could not get the item I wanted at my store (in Rolla MO) without special ordering it at a cost of $280. But the store 65 miles away (Jefferson City MO) has it on the shelf at $115. Now My store tried everything they knew to get it but it was not an option. So, I called the Lowes main customer service line to ask Why I was not able to get the item at my store at the same cost, without driving the 120 mile round trip. she told me that someone would be contacting me in 24 hours to either help me or to answer my concerns. That happened on Sunday and now it is Thursday and still no answer. it’s funny how the cooperate office expects the local stores to take care of the customer, but in the back ground they are driving off the customer when they cannot even make a simple phone call back to a customer to answer a question. I cannot wait for Menards to come into Rolla MO which is happening in FALL OF 2017.

I have been waiting to have my floor installed for over two months now, the best part is I haven't even paid for it! I talked to the manager and misunderstood him when I thought he would compensate me for having to wait so long to hear back from the estimate I received. No? He would compensate me if I wanted to buy additional items from lowes. I do not like shopping here, it's a rip off and nothing gets done. Good luck actually having the floor installed after you spend 2,000$ for it! And thanks to Will, the installer, who tried to charge me for stuff he made up and then never made an appointment to come back and install it. Hire contractors that actually work.

Lowes - Bougain Review

Unable to order Bogain online from Lowes online they have no close store pick up like Henderson and the computer would not take my credit card. When I called customer service everyone back East had gone home and calling the closest Lowes didn't help either, the guy insisted it would take my credit card and refused to help me! He was a truly unhelpful ***! I am Extremely upset! I had to pay more because of this! I do not appreciate it! Why do you sell Bouganvillea's if you don't sell Bougain! That's just plain dumb and ***!

Lowes review: Wes Dog Park

Today I was at Lowes (Store #2908) to buy gardening supplies. There must have been 20 or more dogs in the outside gardening area. I tried to talk to a sales associate but there was so much noise from all the dogs neither of us could hear the other. Just going to get what I wanted I saw 2 dogs *** and 1 dog ***. No, the owners did not cleanup, they just walked around it. I tried to avoid the dogs because I am allergic to dog dandruff. Yet, several dogs came up to sniff my crotch. When I complained to 1 owner, she assured that her dog was just being friendly and would not ***. I told her what the problem was and she told me that there was medicine for people like me. I am now sitting at home sneezing and scratching. If Lowes is going into the dog park business, they need to put a sign out front and they need to hire an employee to take care of dog messes. I cannot shop in a kennel. I don’t know if all Lowes are like this one but I’d rather shop at their competition and not subject myself to what I had to go through today.

Lowes just cancels orders for fun

My husband and I just had a problem with this. They left a message that our order was cancelled so we went to the store because our credit card said it was still charged. It was a two part order, half was to be picked up at the store, the other, a chest freezer was going to be delivered. We went to the store and were greeted by a rude customer service member. We asked for a manager and she rolled her eyes and told us if we want to fine. When the manager came and tried to explain the situation, we were even more confused. She said the freezer was still coming but the in-store pick up was declined due to the gift card not going through. It was extra confusing since the gift card was for $100 and the in-store pick up was $97 so three dollars were for the freezer, I had called the number on the gift card and they said it was completely empty. Finally I asked the manager if she had our stuff put aside stuff and if we could just pay for it now, and could she please honor our 10% off coupon. She said yes, we paid, and were about to leave , when my husband said "can you just check when the freezer will be delivered." When she checked she looked at us and said "oh it looks like the gift card DID go through!" She was kind enough to issue a refund to our credit card and let us take the stuff, but i'm so grateful we went in and checked up on it. We had to really fight! Next day we ordered a washer and dryer, nearly $2,000, and again they called and said "we canceled your order, we don't have it in stock." didn't say they could get it if we were will to wait, didn't say if another Lowes had it, no apology! I am thinking I need to go in to resolve this. It has been 24 hours and our credit card is still charged. I'm half expecting the delivery guys to call me any minute to say they are almost at my house! Now when I hear Lowes is having financial problems I know it's their own fault. YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE CANCELLING $2,000 ORDERS! We will take our business elsewhere in the future.

They delivered the items that I ordered and they charged to my account for removal of old item. It was so cleared that they will removed the old items as per stated in email as confirmation. I was so disappointed the attitude of the delivery personnel especially the small hispanic guy. This will be my last business to this establishment. And even the Supervisor and Manager I speak with on the phone can not do something because I requested to return the item from my house because I don't have a extra space. A very bad day and very bad experienced to Lowe's. I attached the pictures below the Truck License Place and DOT number.

Lowes review: Lowe's flooring lack of customer support

We went into Lowe's on March 12th to see about getting hardwood flooring for our living room, kitchen, and steps. We paid the $35.00 for someone to come out and measure our floors. On the receipt it says that someone should be calling us in 2-3 days to make an appointment to come to our house to measure the floor. We waited 4 days and they went in to ask the flooring department. They told us they would check and get back to us. No one called. The next day we saw the manager (Steve) and he said he would look into it and get back to us. He never did. On March 21st (9 days after we paid our $35.00) we got a call saying they would be at our house March 24th. They came and took measurements but could not give us a price (or any samples). He said it would be 2-3 working days until we heard something. On March 28th we checked with flooring and still nothing. Today we went in (18 days after our original $35.00) and they still had no answer. The guy in flooring said he would text the company and get back to us. He never did. Now it is too late. We went with someone else. I can't believe this Lowe's store has gone downhill so bad that they act like they do not want our business. I am not begging them. Lowe's lost $4000-$5,000 in flooring just because they don't care. We have spent a lot of money at Lowe's in the last 30 years. No one cares.

Lowes review in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Purchased refrigerator, can't seem to get it for almost 2 months.

Purchased refrigerator on Feb. 11, 2017 in anticipation of closing on new home on March 16, 2017. We also purchased a washer and dryer that day also with a promise that it would all be delivered on March 16th. When that day arrived, the truck pulls up and only has the washer and dryer! No refrigerator. No phone call to let us know, nothing. We return to the store and I speak to a woman named Kathy. She quickly looks to see what happened and looks for our fridge. They do not have one available. She was nice enough to send us a loaner the next day. They search other stores for thr fridge and find one that has to be delivered by common carrier to the store. Another week or 2 go by. And finally they deliver our fridge only to see a dent on its side. It is returned to the store. Today is March 30th, i still do not have my refrigerator, only another promise that they will have one for me around the first week in April. This is beyond frustration at this point. Calls to the store are fruitless because i am connected with differant salesmen everytime. Can someone please help me with this situation. We spent a lot of money there, and are just getting the run around. Almost 2 months and still no fridge.

Pella/ Lowes Quality - 7 months, 3 strikes, you are out!

In late August of 2016, we started the process of ordering a Pella patio door through Lowes in Cranberry Twp. We had previously purchased a Pella front entry door and had it installed through Lowes and all went well (so far). That initial purchase/ installation went relatively well, so Pella/ Lowes were at the top of the list for the patio door. Then the fun began! It took almost a month to have the door successfully measured and ordered. The order went in and full payment of almost $6000 was made in October 9 due to poor communication at Lowes and multiple visits to our house to verify the door. The door was received by Lowes in October 26 and the earliest installation date we could get was December 9. When the installation contractor arrived with the door to install, he realized that the door was damaged. A new door was ordered on December 11 (which turned out to be only parts that were damaged – reusing the rest of the order). Lowes called on January 5 to ask how the installation went – having no clue that the installation did not occur. The new door/ parts arrived on January 16, 2017. The earliest that the next install could be scheduled was February 8, 2017. The morning of February 8, the contractor called from Lowes and said that the new door was damaged and that the remaining good parts from the original door were now damaged as well. The local sales rep from Pella called apologizing and stated that we would get priority to get a 3rd door ordered properly, that we would be compensated very well for our troubles and that the whole scenario would be evaluated by Pella to improve process. We would receive our door as soon as possible (5-10 days). Called the rep after 10 and 12 days, left message and received not return call (and still have not to this day from Pella). On February 24, 2017, Lowes called again to ask how the installation went. On February 28, received a call from Lowes that the door was in and that the contractor would call that day to set up a new appointment. Talked to the installation contractor on March 1, 2017 to schedule the 3rd installation attempt – the soonest it could be was March 13, 2017. The contractor went to the store a couple days early to make sure that the door was good. The local Lowes store manager called on March 11, 2017 to inform us that the third door was damaged as well. Seriously – three doors and all damaged! Lowes had our money since October 6, 2016 and we still don’t have a door. It took a few days to have a credit applied to our Lowes credit card and had to wait 3 more days to request a check to receive the money back from the Lowes credit card company. We finally received our check March 25, 2017 (at least that worked out) – 7 months from the start of this whole process. Now we get to start the process all over again. The whole process was quite frustrating, disappointing and sometimes almost amusing (for how bad it was at times – hardly believable). Lowes communication was horrible. We were ridiculously patient throughout the whole process as we just wanted it to work out, but it did not. Communication between the installation department (local and regional), the contractor and us was very spotty, inefficient and frustrating. Departments within Lowes were unaware of progress, status, etc. (e.g., the several calls received asking how the installation went – when it never did). The quality of the Pella product apparently has dropped – three orders, all bad! We have since heard from friends in our area who had similar experiences. Lowes said that they would send a $100 Lowes gift card to us due to all of the trouble we went through, but we have not received anything – a call, gift car or other. We called the central installation team (in Indianapolis) for follow-up and they did not return calls either. Pella has done nothing since the one mid-process call from the local sales rep – who didn’t return subsequent calls. I guess each just figured that they lost a customer, so why try further. We have no idea if Pella just provides substandard product through Lowes so that their more direct contractors get better product and they can therefore charge much higher prices or if Pella quality is dropping. However, again, the experience was very frustrating and disappointing to the point that we can no longer trust Pella for quality and even Lowes for their installation services.

Lowe's could be making double what its revenue is now. With issues that violate there own Code of ethics, code of conduct and business codes. Breaching of contracts, lying to customers to tricking/intimidation tactics/unfair advantageous over unsuspecting customers. Lowes's in my opinion and from first hand experiences done directly to me bya Lowe's Executive Customer Service Office. Ignored me. Denied me ability to appeal or redress. Wouldn'tallow me to choose who I wanted to involve. Bribed me - That is how I take and treat what yhey did. Foisted a final decision on me. Tried to trick me using very dihonest methods to have me sign away very valuable rights. They atonewall me and act innocent while they show zero conern, sorow, or empathy. You are left 100% feeling unheard. Iasues not resolvwd, and you feeling like WOA! This is not right. Everything favors Lowe's And the Bribe money is just HUSH MONEY aimed to get you excited and sign your rights away. @lowes #lowes
