Lowe's on Union Deposit has terrible customer service. No one there is willing to help you. I needed assistance finding an item and could not find anyone in the vicinity. I went over to push the assistance button and found another customer who was waiting there for several minutes. We both waited a few minutes longer but no one showed up. Another time I needed some wood cut. The guy standing at the cutting station, without even looking at me said the piece was too short. No, "I'm sorry", no " I wish I could help", nothing. Just turned away. In general, employees there are lazy and always look unavailable. Not that they are assisting another customer, just walking around the store and not making eye contact. When you ask for help, they act like you are bothering them. I have never experienced anything like that. Too bad, but they lost me as a customer.

Oh believe me I have friends that work at Lowes and they said half the employees run from customers. They call on the same employees for code 50 and cart return and God forbid if they are busy cause the ASM will come and check on them to make sure they have a customer. They will be the next one out of business.

The guy making comment about wood cutting is an idoit..he does not realize the problem is that lowes has a business plan of not hiring but 50% of the needed employees and then expect them to run around like mice in a maze answering the ridiculous concept of "customer need assistance " bells...Employees are not lazy, just overwhelm with this madness..Now they have fired their actual technical experts (called Dept Managers) and replacing them with part time- no knowledge workers..People should do their home work and go to Home Depot

Lowe's has a website. Contact them and complain about this location.

Corporate needs to know, altho they may just send your complaint to that particular store manager. However, your real recourse is to shop elsewhere---Home Depot, Menard's, etc.

Most problems like yours is due to ineffective management. The store manager is not doing his job either because he is ineffective as a manager or is hiring people who have no business dealing with the public.

Lowes - Carpet install

I purchased carpet from Lowe's in early Dec.2016 for two bedrooms and four closets for a total of 528 square ft. at the Brownsville TX store #2468. Their contract installer for my area, Laguna Vista TX, is Vintage Tile out of Mc Allen TX. The carpet arrived to be installed Dec.20th.I was going out of town Dec. 23ed for Christmas. I had moved all the furniture out of the bedrooms, except the beds and I moved the clothes out of the closets to keep damage to a minimum because I have had carpet installed in the past with some bad results when the installers moved my furniture. In my opinion Vintage Tile now takes first place in terrible carpet installs! They didn't take the doors off any of the entrance ways to the bedrooms or closets. They didn't bring a carpet stretcher. They only knee bumped the carpet to the tack strips. They gouged some of the baseboard in a bedroom. A handle in each of the bedrooms was pulled off the door because the carpet was higher then that they removed and drug on the new carpet when opening the doors. We wanted the carpet tucked in the entrance ways of the bedrooms so when they installed the strips to do this they cracked the tile in the hallway! In each of the entrance ways to the bedrooms they cut the carpet so there was a seam two feet inside the doorway. There's more, but Christmas wasn't very Merry. When they finished they asked me to sign off on the job and I asked them to leave. I called Lowe's and spoke to Joy Escobedo, the installed sales coordinator and explained the problem. She and her associate Ryan came to my house, took pictures then called Vintage Tile. Vintage sent another installer out to the house who took measurements and ordered all new carpet to reinstall. These guys did a good job. Asked Joy about some kind of compensation for this mess, so she and assistant store manager, Bobby Hopes, made me an offer to my satisfaction. I read some of the other complaints posted, but in my case Lowe's store #2468 in Brownsville TX took care of my problem. It's my Lowe's.

Range Review

Bought a lp gas range and it came setup for natural gas. They couldn't change it over or even tell me anybody that could. I wasn't told of this when I purchased the range. I was on my own.

Lowes Remodeling Service Sucks

Three months after the signing contract, we still have an unfinished island in kitchen with no hope for completion. Cabinet and countertops rep, Linda, is never at work and, when actually contacted, stalls and makes excuses. Same for designer, Victoria. Contractors for completed work were great. Plumbing, electrical, appliances all were installed with skill and care. But trying to connect with Lowes Reps was frustrating and aggravating: they were impossible to get by phone and were rarely in the store. Linda showed interest in satisfying us (the customer) and we have no idea how to get the job completed (other than nagging) or who to contact.

We went by Lowes Foods hickory today. Had steaks cut for special dinner for don before he retains to college. Couldn't see the butcher cutting meat. Got home and one steak with a huge slice thru the center and the other with such a fowl odor unable and would not cook/serve. Lastly we paid almost $80.00 for this. PUBLIX can't open soon enough

Lowes Lied About Home Delivery

Bought a generator from Lowes and specifically asked about delivery to our home. Specifically asked if the delivery would be "to the door" or "to the curb" and was told without a doubt it would be to the door. When the trucking company called to schedule delivery I again asked if delivery would be made to the door and got some vague BS. I told the guy that the person from Lowes stated that delivery would be to the door and he replied "Lowes will tell you anything". I told him if there was any hassle getting delivery to the door I would refuse to accept delivery. Come delivery day I get a phone call from the driver who says he's at the end of my driveway with a 40 foot tractor trailer and can't back into the driveway. Big surprise, isn't it? Make a longer story shorter, I had to back up our Ford Expedition to the tractor trailer to get the generator up the driveway to the house. The driver was nice enough to do the transfer and lifting, and he had no idea of the false promise made by Lowes. But it was just lucky that we own a vehicle big enough to fit the large and heavy generator into. Needless to say this will be the last time I will buy anything from Lowes requiring truck delivery.

This is no way to run a business – You’re NOT SEARS ??? I always shopped a Lowe’s – I use to live in Charlotte NC from the 70’s to the 2015 Now you have Lowe’s up here… But I will not step into any Lowe’s after being LIED TO and I will tell my friends about how I was baited and switch..

Lowes contractor gouged my walls installing my counter top and said that's expected to happen , if that is the case then why doesn't Lowes warn you about this ?? , but my biggest complaint is the counter top is about 3/8 th to half inch from wall , he did scribe it so he says but he must not have.

I called my local Lowes store here in Kingston to inquire about a 5 foot by 10 foot trailer. May I add that this trailer is approximately 1.500$. I spoke with a gentleman called Dave about buying it. I was told that he (dave) would look into the trailer that was in the store and he would get back to me ASAP. I waited fifteen minutes called back to the store only to find out Dave was not looking into anything he had gone to lunch. I also found out there are two exact trailers like it at the Belleville store but Lowes will not deliver from store to store which made me angry because every large store like Lowes does. I'm upset with your company you have poor customer service and I'm shocked that you feel you can throw away a 1.500$ sale, but I am pleased to say Home Depot matched your price and I now have my trailer. Id say thanks but you did absolutely nothing but frustrate me, job well done I applaud your company. Mr. Mike Pantrey

Lowes - Don't buy gas powered equipment from lowe's

I purchased a new Cub Cadet snowblower I was happy with all the features. Didn't think to ask about return policy. I put it together, added 'NEW' gas, engine started but when choke turned off started hunting and surging. Called Lowe's store, they said to call service & they would come to your house to fix, try putting stabilizer in . Tried stabilizer no impacted. Called the service shop, The guy told me it was bad gas, which it wasn't, told me to put super gas in and that I should not have added Stabilizer and that he could do nothing as the carbs are factory set, no adjustment. Super gas did not solve. Called Cub Cadet they effectively told me to take to the service company and that they may not warranty the carburetor!!! are you kidding me!!! I ran the machine out of gas, took it back to the store and said I never ran it.... got a credit. I hate to admit it but if i didn't I would have gone around in circles at my expense and be screwed. Lowe's need to service what they sell and stand behind their equipment. What a nightmare!

Please Google the definition of a retail establishment and then a service center. Maybe even look up the difference between a retail establishment and a manufacturer that sells to consumers direct like Stihl. Then maybe you won't have to go around commiting felonies.

Lowes in Wooster, Ohio - New Appliance Installation

We had ordered a new dishwasher and refrigerator on Black Friday 2016. They did not come in until January 11, 2017. During the process of bringing the dishwasher into the house, the delivery people damaged the kick panel under the front door on the porch. When they brought the refrigerator into the house and put it in place, it did not fit where we wanted it to go - it was about one inch too wide. After the delivery people left the house, I discovered the issue with the refrigerator, so I went outside to flag them down to point out the issue. Instead, they sped off down the road without looking in their rear-view mirrors. We ultimately had to demolish some custom-made overhead storage cabinets to get the new refrigerator to fit.
