Do not even think about contracting with Lowes but most importantly - do not pay them 100% up front !! We had a bathroom remodel that we paid for on June 14 and should have taken 3-4 weeks. It is November and they are still not done - far too many details to list but fair warning - they don't care - they just want to get your money - they don't care - it has been a nightmare.

Lowes in Covington, Georgia - Dump and run

I purchased a upright freezer from Lowes. They delivered it today. They had me sign off as they were bringing it in the house. They set it down, plugged it in and walked out. When I looked at the scid/feet it was sitting on (placed on the freezer so a hand truck or fork lift can be placed under it), I was told they leave that so that it will be level. I returned to the store to inquire if they were to actually set it up or just dump it off the truck and run. The sales assoc. assured me they were to have set it up... The sales assoc. has placed a order for them to return tomorrow to remove the protective feet and level it. Now, that's two days wasted dealing with poor customer service. I have purchased a dishwasher to be delivered and installed this coming week. I was also going to purchase a stove and fridge... I'm wondering if I should cancel the dishwasher purchase and look elsewhere for the other appliances?

I wouldnt get them. Never a good idea to let someone else do that for you. Let alone pay those ridiculous prices.

Lowes in Slidell, Louisiana - No help in window treatment department

I want to start with the fact I am remodeling a house and have spent a small fortune at Lowes, however, I have found a lack of help in many departments at the Slidell, LA store. Today I reached my limit. I need to order some window treatments for some oddball sized windows and needed advice on what would work best. Three times I went to customer service asking if someone could assist me. THREE TIMES NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! When I came home I called and reported this to the manager. I got a lame excuse they don't have anyone who is educated on their products enough to help me. REALLY???? Wish they had told me at the get go so I wouldn't have wasted my time. I told the manager HOME DEPOT will get my business from now on!

Lowes in Pacifica, California - DON'T BUY APPLIANCE AND WARRANTY THRU LOWE'S

We bough side by side Samsung refrigerator model RH29H9000SR in April 2016 it's broken - keep making noise and fridge is not cold. We also bought a 5-year extended warranty. The fridge has not been cold and temperature keeps going up. Finally we called Lowe's on SATURDAY OCT 22ND, 2016. Initially they scheduled to have a tech to come on TUE OCT 25TH. Shortly after we hang up around an hour, LOWE'S REP called me back to apologize that they were wrong for putting this date that we need to have a re-scheduled an apt on FRI 28TH. We were looking forward to this date that today FRI the 28TH a vendor they hired to fix our fridge was cancelling our apt with reason of the part has not arrived. BUMMERRR!!! WE HAVE A TODDLER THAT HAS BEEN DRINKING MILK FOR THE WHOLE 8 DAYS!!!! I called Lowe's back and expressing my disappointment and I really need the fridge fixed TODAY, HOWEVER, they could not make this happened!!! We have to live another day without any fridge. Hopefully, the tech will come by tomorrow SAT 29TH as they promised and BRING THAT PART THAT THEY CLAIMED HAS YET TO ARRIVE. PLEASE NOTE WE HAD A BAD SITUATION OF LOANER FRIDGE WITH LOWE'S. I have requested a loaner if my SAMSUNG fridge is not up and running by tomorrow. However, they CAN'T GUARANTEE IT. I cannot live another day without a fridge. I do hope that Lowe's and the vendor will not take the time when fridge is broken. This appliance is very crucial. Unlike living without any stove/oven.

We had similar problem with a dishwasher we bought from Lowes. We did buy the extended warranty but the company contracted for warranty repairs ordered the part the day before the scheduled service date.

They called and cancelled the repair date saying the part was not in. OF course it is not in. Why would you expect it to be delivered the next day? They had 3 days to order it when I scheduled the initial appt.

The local mgr from Lowe's has been working on our behalf but even HE can't get resolution. I get the corporate runaround from Customer Care, Service Dept., Repair company. We can't even get the status of the part they ordered.

Just says it hasn't shipped yet–after being ordered 2 weeks ago. Will never buy an extended warranty from Lowe's again.

What's wrong with a toddler drinking milk? Most do.

Why would you want a repair person to show up for an appointment if he doesn't have the part needed to fix the refrigerator? You are aware that neither Lowes nor the repair shop makes the parts aren't you? They are waiting for the part to come from Samsung.

It seems like your frustration should be with the manufacturer (who is actually responsible for the first year of the warranty) rather than the retailer. You have to hope they have the part you need in a US warehouse, if not it will have to come from Korea and who knows how long that may take.

Do Not Trust that any of the staff have any knowledge whatsoever. I visited Lowe's to get a entrance electric cable for 150 AMP service and the man that said he knew the one I needed sold me a cable 3 sizes smaller than required. I looked it up to be sure and found that if I would have installed it the wire would have melted and maybe burned my home down. I asked for the correct cable but he said I didn't need one that big and told me the smaller one would work. If they sell you the wrong paint brush that's one thing but no one should be selling electrical supplies that have little or no knowledge of products.

These company's hire knowledgable people when they first open. Then when they get on their feet they get rid of the clerks who have knowledge and hire young minamum wage people.

That's exactly why you should check your building codes before you purchase materials like this. Check the code, find out exactly what is required and go to the store asking for the required product, not an opinion from a salesperson.

Lowes will not stand behind THEIR mistakes they act like they are concerned and have "Kimberly" reach out to you when you email the CEO. If this stops one person from buying carpet from Lowes I will be satisfied. The carpet installers laid the carpet wrong into the French drain and I assumed it was a leak in my wall making my floors wet after several years of dealing with mold and *** a cable repairman is the one who found my issue and I was told it is out of warranty so pretty much sorry about your luck. I will NEVER give another penny to Lowes.

Purchase 30 bags concrete. While I loaded it all by myself the young man who worked there just watched and laughed. Then had nerve to ask for receipt when I was done. Lowes in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania - Inventory listed on line was wrong

I went to Lowe's yesterday with one specific item I needed, plus I was going to use the balance on my gift card to buy tools. Before leaving home, I checked on line to make sure they had the item I needed in stock and it showed several in stock at the store I use. When I got to the store, I spent about 15 minutes trying to find the item I needed but had no luck in locating it. I found an employee and he tried to find the item, then stated they were out of them. When I complained that the on line inventory showed they had several in stock he laughed and said that you can never go by that. Seems to me that it would be fairly easy to keep an accurate inventory by tracking sales. Went to Home Depot and found a whole shelf stocked with what I needed. I guess I will re gift my gift cards as I have no desire to shop at Lowe's

The only inventory you can trust is calling the store and having someone go see what is on the shelf. There are too many ways inventory can be off.

Keep in mind that the information in the computer is only as accurate as what the HUMANS entering information enter. HUMANS are known from time to time to make a mistake. The wrong quantity being received may have been entered as well as the quantity being sold.

And of course there are shoplifters and the computers can't keep track of theft until product is noticed missing and new counts are entered by a HUMAN. Sure, it sounds easy to keep track of inventory but most people aren't a perfect as you seem to be and make mistakes, whether they be data entry or breaking the law and taking product off the shelf without paying for it.

i rented a bissell to do a job 1)it was dirty i cleaned it in front the girl there and she still changed me 20.00 cleaning fee 2)it was broke got it to the job it spit water all over the walls i had to pay for the walls to be cleaned i had to clean the hole wall not just were the water spit took over 2hours so took it back to the store told the guy what had happen he gave me back the rent fee but not the 20.00 cleaning fee for the bissell so i'm out 20.00 plus 2 hour lobor fee thanks alot for nothing i will never rent a bissell from lowes again you should check them when they come back thanks jakoonrad@yahoo.com joe koonrad 94 e.luzerne ave edwardsville pa 19704
