Lowes Bathroom Remodeling Review

We had them to come in and remodel our bathroom. Thay said it could be fixed in 7 weeks. Now two and a half months later the bathroom is still not complete and with a backed up septic line. The bathroom is an 8×6.

Lowes in Waldorf, Maryland - Poor Customer Service

I submitted a purchase yesterday online for Maytag washer. The online form said I would receive a reply back the next day. My wife called the next morning to find a status of my request. The delivery manager told my wife that it was not on the manifest, but reluctantly placed it on the truck. He was spoke to my wife with complete disregard for trying to please her. An hour later he called me stating that the washer had a dent in the front and another dent in the back, asking if I would take it in that condition. How could anyone with proper customer interaction ask them if they would take damaged goods. I asked him to direct me to the customer care office and he said he doesn't know the number and they will tell me the same thing. I will never shop at the Lowe's located in Charles County Maryland.

It's obvious they only had one in stock. Some people would take the dented one if they really needed one rather than waiting for a new one to arrive.

It seems like he did the proper thing to me. He had 3 choices. One was to do what he did and call and ask if you would take a machine that was dented, he could have just put it on the truck and let you find out when it arrived or he could have decided you wouldn't want it, not send it and not call you.

Most people would want the call you got. Are you one of those people that don't understand that the don't build the washers in the back of the store?

WE BOUGHT CARPET FROM LOWE'S THEY ADVERTISE 10% DISCOUNT FOR MILITARY .WE DIDNOT GET IT. THEY SAID BECAUSE IT WAS A SPECIAL ORDER. I WOULD LIKE TO GET OUR DISCOUNT ON $1831.34 MATERIALS-LABOR $486.57. WE HAVE BOUGHT CARPET 2-3 TIMES OVER THE YEARS'THE CARPET I ORDERED ON OCT, 3 2016 WAS FROM CANADA. I WASN'T TOLD IT WAS FROM CANADA,I WOULD HAVE ORDERED CARPET WHERE I COULD GET IT QUICKER. I TRIED TO TRACK MY ORDER DOWN AND CAN'T FIND OUT WHAT DATE IT IS COMING. Customer 5 episodes of very poor service in the last 60 days.The benefits of these issues? Continued lost time and money. Whether it's a one-day sale, that caused alot of confusion with management as well as my wife, to 13 gallons of paint mixed wrong ( Sheen) or waiting 45 minutes for help with several sets of deadbolts and locks, only to have them keyed alike, then going to install them and noticing that some of the hardware wasn't put back in the packages. I called the store and they had all the parts. I then returned to the store to retrieve the parts and nobody could find them. After talking to 3 associates they finally found the parts, inside the desk in the Hardware Dept. Oh yeah! and lets not forget this day. I went in and asked for Brick Mold (Primed) in the lumber department and was told they didn't know what it was, no we don't have any, and what is brickmold? Once again 3 Associates! The service at your store in Lubbock Texas is pathetic. We easily spend 10 to $15,000 a year at your store with our LAR account. And there's never a wait, when it comes to us paying our bill on time. My wife and I are at the end of our rope. I will say the situations were always taken care of after much leg work, phone calls and let's include the return trips to the store. It's my opinion that Lowe's owes us for lost time taking care of these situations. Renovations are hard enough without dealing with this!!!

I loved Lowes. I used to think that i can live in Lowes, but lately its getting more and more disappointing. Where to start...??? 1. A few months back I decided to paint my front and back door. Went to Lowes and told them i need an outdoor paint (so I'm covered for the side of the door that is... outside), that my doors are metal and i want a dark brown. I told them that the best is an oil based paint since it was already painted with an oil based paint. They said they dont have or can make anything oil based paint in brown. I was OK, I'll take the alternative and go with primer and strip the entire existing coat. Mentioned a few times what I need it for and what it had to be rated for, I show them the color i want and they hand me the paint. Spent all day stripping, sanding, cleaning and another all day painting, respected the time between coats and did it in my insulated garage, away from direct sunlight and all. And I live in Louisiana. No door during the summer means above 80 degF in the house and the AC pumping to keep it 80 (welcome electric bill). Paint was not cheap, *** was not cheap... and 3 months later my back door is all bubbles inside and out. Its under a covered patio with no direct sunlight, but i did asked for outdoor rated metal paint. Needles to say i have to strip it all again, paint again, luckly the temperatures are not as high. After checking deeper into the paint they gave me... - its a stucco paint. Needles to say I'll check twice next time before I take their PROFESSIONAL advice. Welcome 2 more days of work, more money on the paint... 2. I went a few weeks back to buy some blades for my planer. I was in a hurry and I knew the area where they were within 2 isles error. An emplyee was there and after he saw me rushing through the first isle I thought the blades were, he offered to help, I told him what I need and he takes me to the planers. The full tool. I told him I just need the blades not the entire tool and that they are on one of the isles over there (showed him the area), on the left side of the isle, middle shelf, porter cable, come in sets of two... I thought that will spark in his mind to what i need. He says: OK, I'll follow you so I know what you talking about and where they at. What about he'll need to learn the store before acting as an employee that is supposed to guide the customers. 3. I was finishing a project and I sent my husband to buy me some 2in pocket screws. He comes home with 2 1/2 in pocket screws from the specialty island screws and says that is all they had. The head of the first one i start using broke: head on my hands, screw in the wood. Perfect finish for my project. He asked 3 people where these screws were cause he knew the ones i was using and all employees told him that is all they have. Dear Lowes employees, your pocket screws from 1.5 to 2.5 in, indoor and indoor/outdoor rated are in the tools area next to the Kreg jigs and tools. The boxes of 50 are hanged and the boxes of 100 pcs are on the shelf bellow. Anyway Lowes, if you want to take an advice: train your people to at least know what you have in the store. Also if you want to advertise yourselves as PROS than sell and recomemd the right products for the clients jobs.

The lowes in Pocatello is the worst place to work! Employees r not treated w respect! There changing the rules everyday! Hr and the department don't do any thing about store harassment or there's a lot of racist going on and they just let it pass! I worked in many retails these is the only one that I was treated bad! Hated working there and dragged going to work !!

Lowes hidden (un)warranty

Lowes location: S. Durham Lowe's 4402 Fayetteville Rd Durham, NC 27713, Store #2778 In 2014 Lowes replaced the shingles on my roof. I immediately had problems with the install. 1. They were supposed to remove an old exhaust pipe on the side of the house. It is still there. 2. Shortly after that a ceiling light quit working. Lowes sent out an electrician and they found a wire had been crimped and shorted. I am still not sure how they fixed it. The light had 3 switches that controlled it. After the repair, only 1 switch would turn the light on or off. Lowes refused to fix, because the Lowes electrician said it was bad switches and I would have to fix them myself. I brought in a licensed electrician who found that some "travelers" (electrical term for wiring legs with 3-way switches) had been switched and that all the switches worked. Now after 2 years and 6 months, the roof has begun to leak. Lowes tells me their responsibility ended at 2 years and I would have to get a licensed roofer to determine the problem. If it turns out to be an installation problem, then Lowes MIGHT repair it. If it turns out to be material failure I would have to work with manufacturer. Either way, I will have to pay even more for what I believed to be a simple roofing job. They have good salesmen. They made me feel comfortable that they would stand behind their work. I am tremendously disappointed with their service and do not recommend them for any work done on homes.

I have to tell everyone with my experience with Lowes. I bought a Halloween decoration that was 119.99 for 19.99 and ordered 3 of this item. I received a confirmation for the items to be picked up. 3 hours later I received another email cancelling my order. When I called Lowes to find out what was up, they told me they cancelled the order due to advertising at the incorrect price. After discussing that it isn't my problem that their web guy screwed up the pricing and they SHOULD do the right thing and give me the items at what I ordered them at, they refused. GUESS WHAT LOWES, When we renovate our house this spring we wont even be purchasing a screw from you.

State laws in every state say any retailer has the right to correct ANY price at the point of purchase. Why?

Because scam artists like you have been switching prices for years. They have every right to correct an incorrect advertised price at any time.

Can you actually say you have never made a mistake in your life? Someone made a mistake and they corrected it. You have no right to profit from another human beings error.

I'd be willing to bet that if the price was listed at $119 and they canceled your order and said the price was wrong, you can re-order at $19 you wouldn't be demanding they charge you $119. Perhaps you SHOULD do the right thing and realize that most humans are not as perfect as you are and not try and make a buck of someones error.

My mother had her roof replaced. She is eighty The first contracter arrived at her house crawled on the roof said I need more money left without explanation. Lowes took a while to call her back. Added more money. A while later about a month she went on vacation. A new contractor showed up while she was gone. Did the work, did not do the flat roof. My husband called lowes he replied after talking to contractor we don't do flat roofs. Lowes guy asked him how did we get his number. We got it off lowes contract. he told him to call the lowes main number not his number( the guy that wrote up the contract). While doing the roof the contractor tore the yard up with the machines. mom called lowes main desk was told her roof is done no gutters were put up and yard is still tore up. Even tho she fell walking across the yard. They won't even go to her house to look at the damage.and don't informe her when anyone is showing up. That also won't return her calls. The guy said the roof is done. He is no longer the contact person. His lob is done.

Time for an attorney. Get a free consult with one and sue Lowe's and the contractor for damage, etc.

Check the contract to see exactly what "roof" or part of were to be done.

If the flat part is specifically excluded, then fine but if not, then your attorney can sue for unfinished work. You might also want to get the roof inspected by a certified roofer to see if the contractor did a good job or not.
