Was satisfied with 1st generation version bought barely a year ago. I DID NOT receive notice of the gen 2 "free hub" upgrade, then came across online discussion one day after the deadline. It took 3 calls before i was promised the upgrade hub, but it never came! There were numerous calls, numerous occasions of being put on hold and numerous frustrating interchanges - but no real support with my request! Even when THEY discovered it was their mistake by having a completely wrong, confabulated email they "had attempted" to notify me with, they were not forthcoming with the upgrade hub! I am living on VA disability income - don't have money to spare - but had no choice because of prowlings and break-ins in my area. Now, they have shut down my still-new system and we have no security for our house! Further, every review I have read on the "upgrade" hub reveals it is anything but that and i have learned that some of my present sensors will either not work - or work intermittantly! I plan to take my entire system back for a refund! Further, we consider this a breach of contract and plan to inquire about litigation on this issue.

Lowes - Deck Rebuilding Estimate Review from Chicago, Illinois

All I've been trying to get is an estimate. I want to get my deck rebuild and screened. When the sales guy came out, he said they've never screened a deck and was going to check with a carpenter to see if there's anything he can do. So after 3 days he said he would work on the quote and would get back to me. He then said he couldn't have the deck built because they couldnt find the see thru roof panel sheets I wanted to use for a roof. He's full of ***, they sell that at their stores! Then I asked for a second quote just to build the deck. He said he'd put some numbers together the following week. Mid week he didnt call and someone from Lowes called to confirm that he gave me a quote, then said she'd check on it. Well nothing. so 1 month later after we met, I still havent gotten it. I wanted composite and I was honestly willing to spend over $20,000 to get it done. Sounds like Lowes didnt want my business. Home Depot is the best. Sorry Lowes. you messed up and I'm letting everyone who's been asking about this project not to go thru you. He didnt want to give me a quote. I'm taking my money elsewhere. Lowes your salesmen are costing you money.

It's obviously a project that is beyond the capabilities of their construction crews. Building a deck is one thing, adding a roof and enclosure is another.

You are obviously better off getting quotes from someone that does this kind of work rather than a deck builder. I sure wouldn't want someone with no experience working on my house.

You should be glad they didn't give you an estimate for work they aren't qualified to do. You wouldn't take your car to Jiffy Lube and expect them to do an engine overhaul.

A new person at the store sure pass the quote to someone more qualified but to stump the entire company? That's a joke.

Lowes in Perris, California - Insurance Claim

I called in a claim on 8/20 at 1:48 to report leaking from my freezer. I was told J&M Appliance would send someone out on Monday. On Tues I spoke to J&M Appliance and was scheduled for the next available service call ( 8/26) I said I was concerned about the possibility of smell, was told once more not to open the freezer. Since our calls are recorded for training purposes and customer services you should be able to hear our conversations. I had previous slaughtered lamb meat and 3 recently slaughter lambs. We raise our own lambs and this freezer was purchased strictly for our slaughtered meat. On Friday, 26th, I called to reschedule because my husband had sudden medical problem and I did not know how long we would be held at hospital and Edwin rescheduled for 8/31. Today, 8/31, Miguel from J&M Appliance informed us the compressor is not working. He ordered parts and said they would call when the parts come in but we would have to clean out the freezer before he would touch it. After the service call I spoke to Marcus and Emily, his supervisor, and was told by both I would be reimbursed $150 for our meat( worth about $600) I was also informed I will would have to clean out the freezer myself. I am afraid to clean out meat that has been without refrigeration for God knows how long. The meat spoiled due to the malfunction of freezer compressor. Price of lamb is ridiculously high. In all actuality this freezer is not repairable, not to my satisfaction, as the bio hazardous material may be embedded into vents, seams, tubes etc, especially if I was to clean it out myself. I would never be comfortable putting food into this freezer for fear my family might get ill or worse. I would prefer Lowes/Service Advantage replace my freezer .

Lowes in East Point, Georgia - Ms. Latrell is Repeat rude cashier in garden center in Camp Creek store

There is a cashier in the Garden center at Camp Creek store in East point, called " Latrell". I'm a very loyal, repeat customer and she is the only employee in the garden shop that is ughhh... Irritating. She doesn't greet you initially, looks at you when walk in like you've got 3 heads. Ask her a question, she gives you an attitude in half. When she checks you out always acts like she's doing you a favor and looks mean, unwelcoming, no smile. How she got the job, I don't know. She always be talking to other employee gossiping in front of customers, ignoring you while she checks you out. She need some customer service training badly. They need relocate or retrain her because even the vendors smile answer questions and most importantly thank you for your hard earn purchases. My neighbor shops there and mentioned they had to report her to management before. Obiviously, nothing was done because she is still there in garden shop, messing up your garden shopping experience! If she continues to be there, myself and others say they will stay away and go elsewhere. Cause it's too much to deal with!

Avoid purchasing Allen & Roth Granite countertops from Lowe’s. We had ours for 2 years and 3montha and have a crack that keeps growing and Sage Surfaces (Allen & Roth) refuse to fix it.

Even the installer is not sure how to fix it since the opening is too small for resin. Thought I got my dream kitchen and Lowe’s made it a nightmare!

Details
An electric dryer was promised for delivery on a Friday. I was even told it was on the truck for delivery by 8pm. Saturday I was told it was on the truck but an accident was delaying it. Saturday night I was called by the delivery company and told it would be here between 9:30 and 11:30 Sunday morning. Sunday, I was told that I cancelled the delivery until September. The people I have dealt with in the store were incredibly rude. They seemed bothered to talk to a customer. I cancelled work with my clients Friday and Saturday. That is almost double the cost of the dryer. All they do is lie. They are a fraud.

They sent a letter to The Estate of Cheryll Leone and cancelled my card. Called them to say, uh, I'm not dead and they apologized and said they would fix it but it may take 3 weeks??? Went to Lowes and checked my card at Cust Serv desk and sure enough, 0 credit balance. Clerk called and the cust serv dept told her I would have to reapply and, oh by the way, you may not get the same credit level because you would be a new customer. So not my fault but I have to be inconvenienced and they can't just reinstate the card? Long time customer gone because of poor service.
