My mother had her roof replaced. She is eighty The first contracter arrived at her house crawled on the roof said I need more money left without explanation. Lowes took a while to call her back. Added more money. A while later about a month she went on vacation. A new contractor showed up while she was gone. Did the work, did not do the flat roof. My husband called lowes he replied after talking to contractor we don't do flat roofs. Lowes guy asked him how did we get his number. We got it off lowes contract. he told him to call the lowes main number not his number( the guy that wrote up the contract). While doing the roof the contractor tore the yard up with the machines. mom called lowes main desk was told her roof is done no gutters were put up and yard is still tore up. Even tho she fell walking across the yard. They won't even go to her house to look at the damage.and don't informe her when anyone is showing up. That also won't return her calls. The guy said the roof is done. He is no longer the contact person. His lob is done.

Time for an attorney. Get a free consult with one and sue Lowe's and the contractor for damage, etc.

Check the contract to see exactly what "roof" or part of were to be done.

If the flat part is specifically excluded, then fine but if not, then your attorney can sue for unfinished work. You might also want to get the roof inspected by a certified roofer to see if the contractor did a good job or not.

Nothing but issues since day one...poor customer service, no communication what so ever from Lowes after they cashed my check. Poor delivery, the product that was brought from the store was damaged...all the pickets were faded in color. Poor contractors... two guys showed up in a mini-van with no tools...had to lend them tools until they could run up to the hardware to buy what was needed. I have $9000 into a vinyl fence. All the pickets that were delivered were bad.... complete redo......save yourself a lot of frustration and do not use this company. You will be sorry.....Anyhthing that you want to be handled call their corporate office in North Carolina.

Lowes in White Plains, New York - Never contract with Lowe's!!!

My close friend and neighbor ordered an entire kitchen (cabinets, counter & sink, new floor) from Lowe's in April 2016. They did not even deliver until June, then left all the unopened stuff until September. Now it is October; the cabinets have no handles, appliances are not installed, and they "lost" the custom counter top. She is not likely to have a usable kitchen before Christmas!!! Lowe's has either abused orignored her!! The first installer from Lowe's called in sick many times. Lowe's never supplied a different installer. Now they don't even make excuses, they just don't show up. Too bad she paid up front!

Same problem! Their follow up is horrible.

Booked a kitchen job on Memorial Day weekend, and it's now December and house is still a construction site.

Lowes in Camp Sherman, Oregon - Can Lowe's get any lower?

On 9/12, I ordered a $2300 Generac standby generator over the phone from Lowe's on-line with the caveat that it be delivered no later than 9/26. They promised curbside delivery to my home on or before 9/26. I was told the generator direct shipped from the vendor in Wisconsin. On 9/26 morning I call Lowe's to get an eta. I am advised the tracking shows item has been delivered and signed for on 9/21. I call FedEx to track shipment myself. FedEx delivered my generator to Lowe's on-line distribution warehouse in North Carolina on 9/21. I call Lowe's customer service back to let them know that Generac delivered the generator to THEM and ask for an update since it has not arrived. I am told someone will get back to me within 72 hours. So I demand some real-time information and am told that my "incident report" can be upgraded to priority if I wish and in that case, I will hear back from them within 24 hours. Next day, I get a call informing me that it left NC on 9/22 and was on its way to me. I'm given a new FedEx Freight tracking number. I call FedEx to track the shipment and am told it will be arriving to Petaluma (2 hours from me) on 9/30. I ask FedEx if there is some way to expedite this shipment and I'm told if Lowe's had shipped this item with FedEx Freight Priority, it would've arrived in Petaluma on Wed., 9/28 and delivered to me on Thurs., 9/29. But since Lowe's elected to trade time for savings and shipped it FedEx Freight ECONOMY, it was put on a train instead of a truck and will be getting to Petaluma sometime Fri., 9/30. However, FedEx only delivers to my remote coastal location once a week, on Thursdays. Therefore, the generator will be delivered on Thurs., 10/6, making it ten days late.

Louisville lowes refuses to honor the low price guarantee policy

On Sept. 30, 2016, i bought one bag CEMEX Cement Mix (item number 364001) from Lakewood Lowes (10555 West Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO) at $2.3/bag. Then i went to Louisville Lowes (1171 Dillon Rd, Louisville, CO) to buy the same product, they wanted to charge $9.5/bad, and refuse to honor the low price guarantee policy. Their excuse is that they bought that product at arougd $6/bag, so they can not sell that to me at $2.3/bag. However, I went to Westminster Lowes (5600 West 88th Ave, Westminster, CO), and they agreed to charge me $2.3/bag.

Recent I have a dryer from lowes for remodeling reason don't install the unit for couple of weeks, only worked for a week after installation, returned to store and they claim that their policy's is to send a manufacturer tech to repaired , awesome now I'm stock with this dryer that doesn't work less then two month of purchased 600 hundred dollars throughout the window really bad costumer service at this store Jose from costumer services a real pain the guy doesn't explains anything clear basically take the dryer walk way your problem now no money back no exchange , go to sears great costumer service and great warranty.Here is the proof of purchase so they at Lowes can save some words... Also

Did you even bother looking at the warranty that came with the dryer? It clearly states that they will REPAIR the dryer.

It doesn't say they will REPLACE it. Why are you complaining when they are offering to do exactly what the warranty calls for?

Lowes Gate Installation Unsatisfactory

November 2014 we moved into our new home in Norfolk VA and quickly had Lowes install fencing and a gate to enclose our back yard (also a new interior floor). On a rainy day Loews contractors installed 6x6 posts to anchor a gate between our home and detached garage. That was the problem. On a rainy day the contractors did not wait for the concrete to "set" so the 6x6 next to our brick home started to tilt making the gate inoperable. For five or six subsequent visits by the contractors they did superficial repairs so the gate would close, but because they did not reinstall the slanting 6x6 these "repairs" were only temporary. Now, on October 1 after much patience and disappointment on our part, Lowes tells us the gate installation is out of warranty. Yes, Lowes is apparently not concerned about delivering quality products and services or making good on warranties when they are responsible for delays outside the warranty time period. This is really happening...

Parking in the Loading Dock and then going shopping at Lowes

Customers parking in the loading dock area and then going shopping like they own the store or something. If it was just every now and then it wouldn't bother me so much but here lately I've had to wait for someone to pull out of the way so I can load my cart loads of lumber on to my trailer, every trip. I realize it is Kentucky and all which is full of lazy snail paced losers who lack the ambition to walk 20 or 30 more steps from the parking lot but Lowes should hire a greeter like wal-mart just to police this area and keep the slugs out of my way and costing me even more money. I've spent 2 hours in the last 2 weeks waiting on someone to move their vehicle so I can load my trailers. What a joke.

I want Lowes to hire a "loading area customer service rep" kind of like walmart has a greeter. He/She shall sit in a booth under an umbrella and coordinate all loading operations.

Lowes Veteran discount

I gave Lowes credit for helping veterans with a small discount on purchases (10%). However when I went to the store this week I was told they will no longer be honoring the discount. I went from being a veteran to being an embarrassed person. I don't know who made this discission. But I am sure he makes milloins of dollars a year. Is he or she a veteran? At one point they did the right thing. It wasn't much but it made me go to Lowes. I would like to continue to shop a Lowes. They need to reinstate the discount for veterans. The
