Lowes - Maax Shipping Service Review from Columbus, Ohio

We found a shower advertised on the website. Were required to order through our local Lowe's. Lowe's was advised of the delivery date of 9/27. We were updated with a later date of 9/30, when inquiring with the worker at checkout, while making other purchases. Today is 30th, I call lowe's to see if it is in, lowe's calls MAAX and they have advised the lowe's representative that the 30th was their "ship from Canada" date. Time off work has been wasted and the shower will not arrive for an additional 5-7 days. 1 month to receive a shower? I do not recommend dealing with a company with this degree, of margin in error. The rep asked for expedite on shipping and was given an education in crossing the border with goods. Poor customer service. No apologies and no attempts to rectify.

Lowes - Mad in Ohio

I am so pissed at Lowe's our company I am a purchasing agent for a non-profit and I placed an order for some playground items back in June 2016 for some reason (still unknown why they didn't call me prior to cancelling) Lowe's cancelled the order I called to inquire about it and was told the order was never picked up, the order was supposed to be delivered!! So I had to reorder this order on 8/8/16 as of today this order still hasn't been delivered, i have called several times and their excuse is they can't reach anyone to schedule a delivery even though I already told them they could delivery any day M-F from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. so I talked with a manager again today and was told the order will be delivered on 10/4/16. Now this order better be delivered as promised or I'm going to go straight to the store and go OFF!! Their customer service is TERRIBLE I plan on writing the corporate office

Called Lowes on McLeod Blvd in FlorenceSC several times about the availability of an item. Never got an answer and customer service never offered to help just continued to transfer to department about 5 times. On the other hand the Lowes in Hartsville sc answered in the same department on first try and told me where it could be found in store. This has happened before and we have always end up going to Hartsville store instead of Florence stores.

Please correct dates of scheduled installation and last call from Lowe's to September 23, not September 24.

We ordered carpet tile at Lowe's of East Evansville (#630) on August 27, 2016. Delivery date was pushed back twice (three delivery dates). Installation was scheduled for September 24. When they didn't show up, I called installation only to be told that they didn't know which glue to use, the glue recommended by the manufacturer or Lowe's brand glue. This should have been resolved by telephone on August 27. Lowe's did not give me an update after September 24. Apparently, a telephone call and overnight delivery are not part of customer service. This is the last purchase that I will make at Lowe's.

ordered a fridge with the stipulation it needed to be delivered the next weekend or no sale! I booked out of my job that weekend to accept the delivery called to confirm all was set to deliver the Friday before to find out the delivery two weeks later would be Oct 1st. A date no one cleared through me - not acceptable! After waiting for 40 minutes on hold the delivery team re-arranged things to have it delivered to me on the agreed weekend. The Sunday of the delivery the original time of 12-4 was no longer it moved to 4-6 inconvenient but not horrible. After not having the delivery by 5:30 I called to confirm the time they would be there - was told "they were on their way" 6PM get a call saying they would arrive within the hour 7PM no delivery! I call again to get additional information on why there was a delay- i was on hold for 40 minutes (again). Then after much waiting the dispatcher let’s me know there is confusion with the delivery Delivery person calls at 7:45 to let me know they will be to me in an hour. Delivery arrives at 9PM. Sale was to include an ice maker installed it was not. Delivery guys could not install the ice maker as was the promise at the sale (they never had done it before- no experience) Now I have to pay to have it installed myself. Then finally when all the drama was at a close we see the door has a dent on it. Delivery guy offers 10% off- thanks, Appreciate the offer but I need to talk to a manager to explain the new level of unacceptable we have now hit.

We spoke to the installer and someone at lowes who said we had to be there for window install. My bf *** work and loses sick time and pay. Then it rains and last minute while he is on the way there and stuck in traffic, they call and say cant put in window. It is an hour away to our home. The manager and marketing director then tell us that we didnt have to *** of work to be there. The installation people were nasty, the manager brit was nasty. They shouldve called the day before knowing it was going to rain to tell us they may not go so he shouldnt have had to drive all the way up there in traffic and lose a days pay and a sick day. All lowes offered was 100 off. My bf makes 4 times that. We didnt want murray installers to put in our window when we were not there because they were nasty. So we got stuck with no window or installation. Never go there again in lehighton

Lowes in Casselberry, Florida - Appliances

I bought all new appliances for my kitchen. Three months until delivery. I chose 5% off rather then the interst free for so many months. I got my statement and I owe 5,000 dollars. I called the lowes credit card and told them that I don't think I should be charged until the appliances are delivered. Too bad that's the way we do it. I can get it from Home Depot or Best Buy sooner. Wanted to save the 5% on such a large order. This thing won't let me post until I use one hundred words. So her we go>.... Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You will pay at the time of order at Home Depot or Best Buy as well. If your appliances are taking 3 months at Lowes I expect you will find the same at the other stores as well.

Why don't you just cancel the Lowe's order, demand a credit and go elsewhere? I agree, charging your card before delivery is wrong and I wouldn't stand for it.

Details
Lowes says it has a discount for veterans but when my wife to use her state issued VA card ( which is a emblem of a flag on her drivers license ) she was denied the discount. Lowes said it only takes VA issued cards. Funny most states, like Georgia now link the VA card with your DL so Lowes can say it offers a discount but doesn't have to hornor it.
