Avoid purchasing Allen & Roth Granite countertops from Lowe’s. We had ours for 2 years and 3montha and have a crack that keeps growing and Sage Surfaces (Allen & Roth) refuse to fix it.

Even the installer is not sure how to fix it since the opening is too small for resin. Thought I got my dream kitchen and Lowe’s made it a nightmare!

An electric dryer was promised for delivery on a Friday. I was even told it was on the truck for delivery by 8pm. Saturday I was told it was on the truck but an accident was delaying it. Saturday night I was called by the delivery company and told it would be here between 9:30 and 11:30 Sunday morning. Sunday, I was told that I cancelled the delivery until September. The people I have dealt with in the store were incredibly rude. They seemed bothered to talk to a customer. I cancelled work with my clients Friday and Saturday. That is almost double the cost of the dryer. All they do is lie. They are a fraud.

They sent a letter to The Estate of Cheryll Leone and cancelled my card. Called them to say, uh, I'm not dead and they apologized and said they would fix it but it may take 3 weeks??? Went to Lowes and checked my card at Cust Serv desk and sure enough, 0 credit balance. Clerk called and the cust serv dept told her I would have to reapply and, oh by the way, you may not get the same credit level because you would be a new customer. So not my fault but I have to be inconvenienced and they can't just reinstate the card? Long time customer gone because of poor service.

Problems with payment

Lowes misrepresents their extended warranty, not worth the paper it's written on !

I purchased a $400.00 Husqvarna self propelled 4 wheel drive lawn mower from Lowes. The salesman assured me that if I purchased the extended warranty for this purchase that no matter what happened it would repair it or replaced it for free. I paid the $52.00 for the 2 year extended warranty under this advice. This mower also had a 2 year limited warrant, right before the 2 year mark the blade stopped turning on the mower. On inspection the adapter the blade attaches to had spun and ate out the star shape that holds the blade to the mower. I took it back to Lowes and was treated like *** by the girl at customer service, she was full of advice on how what happened to the mower was probably my fault and probably not covered by the warranty. I was then told they would send the mower to the repair facility which is in California. After 3 weeks I called to see what was going on with my mower and was told the repair would cost upward of $150.00 and that it was not covered by either warranty because they determined I must have hit a rock with the mower and stripped the adapter. I have no rocks in my yard but my word apparently means nothing ! I told them to send the mower back and I would repair it myself and that I would not ever buy anything from their store again. I feel cheated and I was lied to. Lowes should be ashamed treating good customers in this manner and I would not recommend any buy anything from them.

They absolutely do. I have had my mower 2 years this is 3rd. EVERY year I have to take it in UNDER warranty and pay!!!!

Lowes in Saint Paul, Minnesota - Flooring Fun

This is the first review I have ever posted, anywhere. We had our floors done through Lowes Maple Grove. It has easily been the worst experience I have ever had with any retailer. I dont have the time or energy to write everything that has happened in this review. First off, oddly enough, the floors look great, we are happy with the final product that the folks Lowes sub contracted the work to. Everyone not working directly for Lowes has been great. A few things to note during our dealings. 1. Everything was finished nearly 4 months after we had expected. We hoped it would be ready for a graduation party, instead it was completed early September. 2. We had received multiple calls during this period of time telling us our product was in the store, every time we went to pick the product up the people couldnt find it, it wasnt actually there, then they only had half of it, then they forgot to order the finishing pieces. 3. Nobody in the store including the store managers can help you, they quickly pass you to someone else, I was amazed how a manager on duty places blame a certain department, then transfers me. 4. I still have 2 boxes of material that I was told to return, I went in and they told me I would have to come back while a manager was actually at the store. I am not sure if it is worth the hassle to even return them.... I could add about 5 more gripes but I will stop. I feel like I need to say at least one thing nice, the guy that sold us the floors initially was very friendly, unfortunately I was never able to find him again through this process. Plus as I mentioned, the guys that came to our house and did the work were great.

Details
We remodeled our kitchen and purchased all the appliances from Lowes. The refrigerator/freezer we purchased is a Kitchen Aid Architect II 21.9-cu ft bottom-Freezer monochromatic Stainless Steel model. When it was delivered there was no Ice maker installed. We ordered the ice maker Lowes told us to order and had Lowes through one of their service contractors install the ice maker in September of 2015. The ice maker has never worked properly and so I called to have it fixed. Lowes told me that they do not stand behind the ice maker or the installation of the ice maker even though it has been less than a year since purchase and installation.
