Lowes in Shelbyville, Kentucky - Delivery Issues - No more purchases from Lowe's.

I purchased a range, along with the whole kitchen package (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), from the Shelbyville, Kentucky location and was promised delivery of the range and refrigerator on Friday. I stresses to the sales associate, Daniel, that I was hesitant to buy from Lowes due to their delivery reputation but he assured me that I would be taken care of. When Friday rolled around, the delivery guys showed up with the refrigerator only. No range... When I called and talked to Pat in appliances, I asked why my range was not on the truck. He explained that is was an error and that all humans make mistakes. No apologies. I then talked to Chris who explained that the manufacturer was at fault because the range arrived to them marked incorrectly. No apologies. He felt that getting it delivered sometime today was apology enough. I had a full day planned and had to rearrange everything to accommodate Lowes delivery and, you guessed it, "No Apologies!" I will never purchase anything from Lowes due to their customer service. Never have I been made to feel like my time is so valueless.

Lowes in Chesterfield, South Carolina - Works called but never showed up

we have a fence to put up and it has been a night mare. no one will call me back and will not answer phone calls. they have called and promised the they will have it up several times but then no one will show up 3 weeks of promising to come finally showed up and put up 4 post and have not returned. i have been very patient but this is getting out of hand need some answers. i am getting pissed off when they tell me when i call and no one shows up and we have stayed home another day from work.

Did you ever think they might be busy helping customers that are actually in the store making purchases? I bet that if you were in the store working with a salesperson you would rather have them help you than talking to someone on the phone. As the old saying goes--A bird in the hand (a customer in the store) is worth 2 in the bush (people calling on the phone).

Lowes in Mississauga, Ontario - Poor Experience

- The reps made me wait an hour to place an order for a patio set, because they could not find the proper item and then promise me that there are 5 coming in the store and i will be getting one of them - promised ETA and call to confirm in 3 weeks, yet got none. - promised delivery will happen once items come in the store ( already told them since my first visit to the store that i am from another town ) - 3 weeks pass, i get no call, when i follow up, i am told that i will get a call that day, but 2 days pass and i still get no call - i follow up again by calling, i am told that my patio set has arrived in the store but i was not charged delivery on my first visit, hence i am made to drive from my town to the store because they cannot take charges on the phone or online. - I am told of final delivery date while i pay for my item. - One day before delivery date i receive a phone call claiming that they have oversold the item i had ordered. No one even bothered reconciling in their computer system to see i will not get the item in the 3 weeks since. - I got the bill for the patio set with interest charges, yet no one ever reconciled that the item will not even be given to me. - I conducted all followups, even from my order standpoint down to my complaint process, despite being promised call backs on multiple occassions. - Staff introduce himself as CSA and turns around to become the Store Manager when i voice my displeasure and ask to speak to senior management. - Store manager called to resolve, but i withdrew all business/orders i had placed as any compensation is not worth the negative experience and still having nothing to speak for. - Please learn from my frustrations and choose to go elsewhere.

Lowes in Woodbridge, Virginia - Siding on my house

I got an estimate for siding to be done,signed on the 28th of may the contract, took over a month for the materials to be delivered. 5 boxes of siding and 3 boxes of soffit, the installer ,said he was instructed to install the siding not the soffit.3 boxes of soffit for 2 -16ft openings. i called the store to find out what is going on ,only to be told that the soffit was delivered by mistake. we spoke to the agent about what we wanted. was that a trick by lowes to extract more money from us? since the 28th of may ,we still have not got the job completed and with all our calls. no one can really give us a date when the job will be completed, poor service and would not recommend them to anyone.

Lowes has the worst subcontractors for building decks/fences. This company shows up with one or two workers to completed full decks/fences. They are untimely, unprofessional and has no integrity for getting the job done. They return to the job site whenever they feel like it and continue to fabricate what was or needed to be done. If anyone go through Lowes, please be sure to ask what subcontractors are working the job and if you hear or see decknthings,llc. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN; however, I would recommend you go with a fully licensed company who will get the job done timely and works with a fully professional staff.

Lowes in Sunrise Beach, Missouri - Terrible service

I purchased a toilet from them. It already needs a part to make it stop running. I ordered and paid for it three weeks ago. We checked on it at least 6 times. They just kept saying it wasn't in yet. On Friday, my husband asked to speak to a manager. There was no manager on duty at 4:00 p.m. On Friday! Yesterday they said they forgot to order it. I contacted corporate twice. They refuse to respond. Every time I go in there I have a very difficult time getting anyone to help me. Last time it was in the carpet department. I own my own home and five rental units. I will not purchase anything else from Lowe's. I will tell everyone I know about my experience and I hope other people stop shopping at Lowe's too.

Lowes in Brooklyn, New York - Lowe's late delivery

Again, Lowe's cannot make the delivery on time. It's 3 hours late. Do they value their customer's time? The original schedule was 9-12 on Monday morning and it was confirmed several times. I called off a half day work and wait for the delivery at home. But I didn't see truck before 12 so I called the store, and their manager told me the delivery will be at least 2 hours late and they still cannot guarantee a firm time. They wasted my half day of my PTO and I have to call my manager again for more absence time. Lowe's messed up my whole day schedule and they don't offer any kind of compensation for that.

Having worked in a store that delivers and having made purchases I've had delivered to my home I have learned that if you want something at a certain time, rent a truck and pick it up. Any number of things can delay a delivery schedule.

The driver might get there late (for any number of reasons), the truck won't start or have a flat tire, traffic delays, problems with deliveries ahead of yours including products that won't fit through doors and waiting for people to remove doors or trim to get it in and the list goes on and on.

And yes, a human may have made a mistake in loading the truck or misplaced paperwork. I only wish I was as perfect as you are and could guarantee that I would always be on time for everything I do.

Lowes Mississauga Messed up on Patio Set

My ordeal began as I was visiting Mississauga ( I reside in Guelph ) with my wife. On our way we stopped by the Lowes in Mississauga to get ideas for Patio furniture. While on location, we were given good customer service in advising us on prices/looks of various patio conversation sets. We were very pleased and chose to place the order for an umbrella and an Allen +Routh Westmount patio set. At the time of ordering, I was advised that this is a clearance piece, and was assured that 5 more are inbound to the store and that I can easily be the recipient of this set. After an hour’s worth of back/ forth and me waiting in line for various customer service reps coming and discussing details on the patio set, I was finally able to place the order and go home. The items were supposed to arrive in the store after which I would get a call from the store to arrange for delivery. Estimated date of store arrival was given as July 31. I did not receive any call and I followed up on August 2, with a customer service rep in the store. I was told that I should be receiving a call later that day as sometimes there is a delay. I did not receive any call again and I again called the store on August 4th, with a rep telling me that yes the item is in the store and that I just have to pay for delivery charges. As I live in Guelph, I asked the rep if I can pay over the phone, which I was refused for , thus forcing me to make a Mississauga trip on August 5th. After paying for delivery I was told that the next call I will be getting is a delivery finalization call and that I will be getting the items on August 9th Today is August 8th and the only call I get is that the patio set is sold out and I will not be getting it. My questions to Lowes management were as follows: -That when I asked of the availability , why was I assured by 3 reps that there are 5 coming and that I will get one. ( otherwise I would have been happy to order anything else ) -Why did I have to wait in line for an hour while in store customer service desk made me wait to finalize the order details. -Why was I told that I would be receiving phone calls to arrange for delivery, and got no call, and I had to do any/all follow ups. - I mentioned even in our first interaction with the store that I am from Guelph, yet I was made to drive from Guelph to Mississauga to pay a delivery charge, are they so backwards that they cannot take phone payments? - Why was I told upon paying for delivery that the item is arrived and sitting in the stores warehouse, only for me to receive a call later saying they oversold the item. - Why do I have to be the victim of their ineptitude, when the reps can’t even make a proper commitment of availability or to give me a call or making me drive back/forth from Guelph - To make matters worse, the person that called me from the store telling me that they are oversold, introduces himself as a Customer service rep, I remember his name from my store interaction, and then when I ask to voice my displeasure to a manager, turns around and claims that he is the manager. - irony is that I have gotten a bill to start paying for the item with interest on it, only for me to be refused the item in question.
