Lowes - Freezer Review from Ashland, Pennsylvania

I purchased an upright freezer at the Dickson City PA Lowes on July 31 2016. The purchase was completed by 1:30. I told the salesperson that I had to do several other errands and would be back in an hour to pick up the freezer. This would give the store time to pick the item. I returned at 3:30. No freezer. The store had not even started to process the order. No problem until it was over an hour later and still no freezer. First it couldn't be found even though it was in stock. Then after over 30 minutes it was found in a pod at the back of the store behind 3 pallets. At 5 I cancelled the purchase and left. The freezer I bought at 1:30 wasn't available by 5:00 and no one could tell me when it would be ready. That is the worst customer service ever. I will never by an appliance from Lowes again. In stock means maybe we can find it. My time is more valuable than this. Who puts appliances behind 3 pallets during the appliance sale?

Delivery of Samsung refrigerator from Lowes

I will never buy another appliance from Lowes. Bought a refrigerator in June and the first one came in dented, second one dented but believe it or not, the 3rd one was ok. Hate their delivery. The head guy had an attitude. Took of the hinges of front door for clearance and also the door stop. Put the hinges on dining room chair and after then left, I noticed black grease on the upholstery. The door stop was never put back. Tried to start the ice maker but they had never turned on the water connection. Had to pull out the frig and turn the valve for the water on. I would rather pay more for an appliance and buy from a reputable store. Never again…..Lowes.

Lowes in Carson City, Nevada - Dishwasher

Ordered a Samsung dishwasher on line on 7/25/16. Website specifies "free local delivery" . OK. 2 days after I placed the order I fond out that my CC has already been charged for the amount. During this time I did not receive any calls or e-mails. I called the store 3 or 4 times until I was able to talk to a receptionist. I got transferred to Appliances and after 8 or 10 rings back to the receptionist. This went back and forth couple of times. Receptionist took my name and was told I will get a call back. Nope. I called next day and got a hold of customer service. Was told my appliance is scheduled to arrive on the 29th and I will be notified immediately. I inquired as to why my CC was already charged and was told this is the procedure when they order from the manufacturer. And I thought they are retail. No call on the 29th. I called and left a contact #. Got a call back in about 2 hours and was told the appliance arrived; but, if I want to get it quickly I should come and pick it up myself. Not funny. I opted for delivery and was told they'll not be able to deliver until 8/7/16. Again, not funny. This is the first and last time I will purchase anything form Carson City Lowe's. This is probably the worst customer service I ever encountered

You didn't purchase it from the store, you purchased it online. That is like buying it at one store and wanting it delivered by another. Things would have gone a lot smoother for you if you had actually gone to the store and made the purchase there.

Lowes Credit Card Review from Spanaway, Washington

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with Lowe's! You just lost two customers that frequently spend significant amounts of money at Lowe's. My boyfriend Dustin was sent a new credit card after his last one expired, and the new one somehow has his middle name listed as his last name. His previous card reflected his name correctly, so how did it get messed up?? His address, social security number, etc. is all still correct in Lowe's system, yet somehow his last name was changed?? After going down to our local Lowe's store, and making multiple phone calls to customer service, he's been told that Lowe's cannot fix THEIR mistake, and Dustin of course cannot use the new card because it does not match his ID. Lowe's can ironically give Dustin authorization to close the account no problem though! but he would have to get court documents to fix Lowe's error!? That makes zero sense and after all of our wasted time this morning, we would prefer to just take our business elsewhere. I will be closing my credit card account with Lowe's as well. It is unbelievable that we are being inconvenienced when Lowe's is at complete fault for this mistake. Home Depot, here we come! Hope they know how to type names in correctly, or at least own their mistakes. Unbelievable!

Just close out the card and move on. This is really not a big deal because if Lowe's doesn't wish to fix their mistake, they lose your business.

1 review 1.0 star rating 7/29/2016 I purchased a refrigerator on June 30th from Fairview Heights Lowes. It was to be delivered on July 7th. July 7th they called and said it would be the 8th because one of their delivery people didn't show up for work. The 8th they called and said the refrigerator was dented, do we still want it? So, July 25th, called them again, asked when refrigerator would be delivered. They respond with, well we had one for you on July 8th and you didn't want it. No $*%&! It was dented! So they say, we will order another one for you. WHAT! You didn't order another one when the first one arrived damaged? They tell us there is one at the warehouse, we can deliver it on July 29th. We call Lowes July 29th and the lady in the appliance department says, I was just about to call you. We have a refrigerator for you but it is damaged. I talk to the manager, who says he can order us a new one. I ask him, when the first one arrived at your store damaged, why didn't you order another one then? No answer. Lowes just got a month interest free loan and I got the shaft. Thanks for absolutely NOTHING LOWES!!! Next time I will order my refrigerator directly from China. I bet it will get here quicker.

I won't go into all the details, just warn everyone to NOT NOT NOT trust it when Lowe's says they will deliver in 1-3 business days. It will not happen. Then, when you call customer service to try to resolve the problem, all they do is give you links to web pages and/or give you scripted messages. There is ABSOLUTELY NO effort to actually solve the problem. They don't get it that I don't want money back, I want the product I ordered delivered as promised. Especially with large products and personal physical limitations, if it's not as was promised, then it's more than worthless. Lowe's is off my purchase list forever.

Why won't you go into the details? Are the "details" going to make you look *** for complaining?

If the product you want isn't in stock and the have to wait for more to come in they don't have a magician working out back that can make one appears for you. Some people just don't understand reality.

Lowes in Grand Forks, North Dakota - No more with Lower's

I designed a deck with lower's software online, the materials cost is about $2000. I went to the local store asking for help. I was told that someone will come my house to check it next Monday. However, nobody showed up the whole next week, so I guess they will never come, I planed to build the deck by myself at that time. After three weeks I got one call, said he will come my house to check my deck design, if I still want. OK, I want to know how much I need to pay, and how good the designed deck will be. Guess what, the guy did not tell me about the deck strong or not, he asked me for $10,000 to build it!

I purchased a evaporative cooler control off the shelf as new and got a used item hat had been returned. The person that put it back on the shelf as new should be FIRED immediately. It's hard to believe this place is that devious and CORRUPT. I intend to visit the store tomorrow and make such a scene that they will never forget. I have to drive over 40 miles to return this product and all they can say is that they are sorry. This is evil big business preying on unsuspecting customers with no regard for the inconvenience and frustration caused by their callus disregard for their customers. Lowes should be extinct like Sears and Kmart.

believe it or not there are devious people out there. Customers that steal the new one and leave an old one to cover it up.

I am sure lowes does not physically inspect every package in the store every day. Looks like a deceitful customer got one over on you not lowes.
