Lowes in San Jose, California - Lowe's GE Dishwasher - Received Damaged

I ordered a new GE Dishwasher and it was received damaged. I called Lowe's about it and they told me they would get a new replacement one out to me and pickup the damaged one the next day. Lowe's never showed the next day. I called and they didn't know what I was talking about because the pickup and replacement was never put into their system. Now I've got to wait another week minimum for the replacement, and another day for them to pick up the damaged unit. I also had to pay a second time for their lack of responsibility for their duty to get it to me right on the first time. It's not over yet. My suggestion is, Don't buy from Lowe's.

Lowes in Nashville, Tennessee - Inept service for order on website

email we received said hurry and order for last day of sale price. we ordered on website, paid, got confirmation email of order. Then got a call from local store where we were to pick it up saying they canceled order, didn't have product. after several phone calls to cust. serv. # and repeating my visa # over and over they said they actually had the product instore but I would have to order again. That took more phone calls and now have two charges at bank untill one is refunded. we will pick up tomorrow (hope they can find it). of course after this we will shop somewhere else. they made no offer of discount for the hours lost and aggravation. that would get expensive if they handle many orders as poorly as ours.

Lowes in Budd Lake, New Jersey - Terrible Customer Service and Online Shopping NIGHTMARE

I went to Lowes and got a nail in my tire 2x in 2 weeks. I went back and saw nails in the parking lot. I reported it and they refused to submit it to their insurance company. In the meanwhile I had ordered something from them online and it qualified for FREE shipping according to all of their criteria but they said I had to pick it up. Then the wrong item was put aside. They luckily had another but it took time to find. Then I went to order another item online which also qualified technically but it would not allow it. I called and they tried to charge me $65.00 for shipping for a $30.00 item! OMG! Even though they said it was an IT issue (the item should qualify!) When I call they always tell me someone will get back to me in 24 hours and they do not! Hours lost.... it is a comedy of errors there.
