Lowes in Toronto, Ontario - Product not in stock.

Place an order for Grill and gas tank. Received only the tank and after 3 days later call for order status. and found item is not in stock. Why would system online display items are in stock but its incorrect. I had many other deal at the time when i picked this for an order . Now missed all great deal with lowe's and other stores. I was told by the store manager when we place an order we have to take this kind of risk, nothing they can do about this. Wish they would have compensate my lost and offer some other Grill with reasonable cost. horrible service, Retail store don't want to be accountable for online mistake.

Ordered a back yard wicker set and was sent an email telling me it was to be delivered on Saturday 6/4/16 and then got a call the day before to confirm stayed home all day and did not receive order ,spent hours on phone with customer care then trucking company who blames the store and store blames delivery company then store has no idea what to do then customer care is also unable to help and we still have no idea where or when we will get our set.the customer service at lowes is the worst,they have no people skills.

I ordered a lawn tractor on Monday May 30th, 2016 and had a scheduled delivery date for the following Saturday. Its now nearing 9:00 p.m. and my scheduled delivery time was between 2-4 p.m and still haven't received the tractor. With no phone call at all i had to track down the company myself whi delivers for lowes and see when they're coming! Without a doubt this is the most unprofessional company ive ever dealt with in my life im completely dissatisfied with they're delivery crew and they need to do something about it immediately! Sincerely pissed off customer Thomas Pelletier.

Lowes in San Jose, California - Refrigerator

On July 2012 I bought a samsung refrigerator at the Hammer lane store in Stockton. Since then I have called the warranty department four times to fix it. First it wasn't cooling. Second the ice cubes were not coming out. Third the ice cubes were not coming out. Forth time the refrigerator is not making ice cubes. They have replaced the thermostat, the ice dispenser twice, and now they will replace the ice cubes maker. I don't know what will be next. This refrigerator is a lemon. Why don't you replace this lemon? I am very upset at this situation. The refrigerator is in an empty house, I don't even live in this house, so the refrigerator is not been abused. The appliance is on 612 Burnham Ct. Stockton, CA. I wonder what it would be like if the refrigerator was been used a lot. Please do something to fix this problem. Thank you for your help. Your complaint is with Samsung, not Lowes.

I'm assuming you have the extended warranty which is doing exactly what it's there for, fixing your fridge.

Ice makers are the #1 issue with fridges.

They will not replace your fridge due to ice maker issues. Period.

Don't necessarily blame Lowe's. They didn't make the fridge. Your initial mistake was in buying anything with the "Samsung" name on it.

Lowes in Paso Robles, California - Online Ordering is a bad experience

I ordered 20 boxes of laminate flooring. After a couple of days, I went to the website to check the order status. The status was "Ready for Pickup" (at the store). When I went to customer service, I was informed that the product had not yet been shipped by the manufacturer. Lots of. "Oh. Sorry." from customer service. On a previous occasion, I ordered some vinyl siding. At first they couldn't find it, then they brought out this 8' piece of siding that was all bent up. No packaging at all. Most orders are supposedly stored in the customer service area. However, all my orders seem to be "in the back." Average time to pick up materials at customer service is somewhere around 30 - 45 minutes.

Lowes - Quite possibly the worst customer service

Its unfortunate that these large retail stores just do not buy into the fact that customer service is the key. I dont mind the price, I dont mind how the store looks, parking could be awful. But if you give me good customer service I will return. I bought lawn furniture to the tune of $2000+ and payed $75 for delivery up front. I received the message yesterday that my furniture was in the store but I had to call their delivery dept to make arrangements. I spend the better part of today, almost 8 hrs, trying to get hold of some one to get delivery arranged. I called the correct store, the right dept, only to listen to the phone ring umpteen times before I got bounced from one dept to another except the one I needed. Was finally told they would call me back. The person who called back told me that I had to call delivery to get my lawn furniture delivered. I guess the IQ dropped sharply at Lowes this particular day. I finally got a hold of a manager who after taking all my info, yet again, said she would call me back. Any way heres my point. Yes I am just one customer with a complaint, easy enough to brush off right. Ignore it long enough though and those complaints start to add up. Enough momentum builds up and it becomes impossible to stop the customers from leaving. Dont believe me. There are plenty of failed businesses in North America that I can point to. Plenty of businesses now that are failing that I can point to. Where I live Lowes is already in pretty tough competition against 2 other home improvement stores. I look at the parking lot and on any given day you can plainly see that Lowes does not have the biggest share of the buying public in this area. You would think they would figure out that the only thing they have in their back pocket to battle with is customer service. Got a call back. Not the manager I talked to. This was just another wage slave telling me that I would be contacted Saturday to arrange a time for delivery on Sunday. In my opinion this isnt customer service. I wont be buying from Lowes in the future. Its a further drive for me to go to Lowes. The prices arent great, customer service is questionable. I am also pretty sure this little rant wont go anywhere. I dont care though. It just makes me feel better to get it written out somewhere. Be interesting to see if Lowes survives but I doubt it. The last retailer I had issues with customer service wise went out of business.

Lowes in San Antonio, Texas - False advertising on appliance delivery dates

Lowe's lures consumers into buying major appliances and does the bait and switch on delivery dates. This has happened to me twice now, and I've detected a dangerous pattern. After paying and waiting a week or two until my delivery date, Lowe's calls and says there's been a delay in shipment. In fact, they called me this time to tell me the appliance I ordered was out of stock across the entire US. This was interesting, because that's not what they said when I paid or the day after I paid, when they called to confirm my order and delivery date. The delivery date slid by 3 - 4 weeks, before I cancelled the order and found the same model at Home Depot, with a delivery date in 3 days. This is false advertising because each time I selected Lowe's, I did it on price, brands and availability. It's part of the overall selection process. I'll be using Home Depot from here on.

Perhaps it's just that particular Lowe's location. I have never had a problem and in fact buy all our appliances at Lowe's.
