Never Buy Again at Lowes

I put $250 in the review but when I look at my receipt, the lawn mower was $318

My experience with Lowes' warranty or lack thereof left me irate and frustrated. When I bought the warranty the MANAGER told me I get a free oil change on my lawn mower every year. NOT TRUE. When I bought the warranty the MANAGER told me if anything ever goes wrong they'd come pick it up. NOT TRUE. I bought a Troy Bilt TB280 ES 190-cc 21-in lawnmower less than a year ago. It stopped working. I spent about $250 on it. My previous lawn mower was a cheap battery powered mower I probably bought for $150 from Walmart which lasted me about three and a half years. Lowes calls me after holding my lawnmower for a week to tell me that the cost of the repairs would be $172! Almost what I paid for it! They said I needed a new carburetor and battery. I asked why in the world a carburetor and a battery wouldn't be covered when I have owned this thing less than a year. They said it wasn't and I'd have to pay. I asked that wouldn't a reasonable expectation be that these things would last a year? She was no help nor empathetic. At this point I told her to keep the lawn mower. I will NEVER buy another mower or expensive piece of equipment from LOWES. I will NEVER touch another Troy Bilt anything in my life. I have just never heard of such a thing.

I type 'paving stones' into the search engine on the web site and it shows me five tile saws. Really??? For that reason alone I won't GO to Lowes looking for paving stones. At least Home Depot, which kind of sucks also shows me paving stones when I type that. Really...you want 100 words to post the complaint. I'll complain about that than. How's that? lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalA Ok. Lowes sucks. The web site sucks. Enough? No? Your site sucks. How's that? Enough words for you, you picky ***?

We bought carpet at Lowe's and had them install it. We called the store because of issues with the installation and set up an appointment to have someone come to look at it. When nobody showed up we called the store and realized that they never even scheduled someone to come out. We sat at home waiting for someone that was never coming. Very unprofessional! They have lost a long time customer! Hello Home Depot!

I was in Lowe's Woodruff Rd today 8/2/16 around 530-6 to pick up replacement parts for a toilet. The sales person was very rude and condescending and acted like I should know what I want before I bothered him. This is not the first rude employee I have had to deal with in there. Maybe they should be reminded that the "do-it yourself people" is what keeps them a job and maybe they would respect their customers a little more! If you are not a professional you rely on a knowledgeable person to help you locate what you need. Lowe's is not the only place to buy home project supplies so maybe we should shop somewhere else if this continues.

Maybe you should stop going to a "self service" home improvement store, which Lowe's is, and start going to a full service plumbing supply if you want full service. I'm sure they get tired of people expecting them to hold their hands.

Ehh Im pretty sure the fact that Lowes has gone full on with installation services destroys your argument. Their justification for their higher prices is the fact that they 'hold customers hands' at the time of purchase all the way through installation.

My Husband and i bought Paint yesterday at Lowes (2 Gallons).He painted all the Edges with the first Gallon and then used the second Gallon on the Walls.It was obvious once the Paint dried that it was not the same Color.No Problem,Things happen-so he went back to the Store and showed them the Pics but they would not reimburse him.He asked for a Manager and he told my Husband that he just needs to put on another Coat,of course he wasn't happy with that Answer.So the Manager basically told my Husband to leave.Here is what really made me mad:It's not about the 27 Dollar we spent on one Gallon,it's about the Customer Service that it should be about.We have been going to this Store for 10 Years- since it first opened and spent a lot of Money there.We had our Kitchen done there, two Bathrooms,all our Flooring,lots of Paint over the Years,Two Decks,bought Appliances there,Carpet,Flowers,etc...i can go on and on .It was really upsetting how my Husband was treated there,he is a calm Guy who doesn't just start Things.That Manager in that Store needs to be thought how to give good Customer Service to their Customers.We have never been treated like that in any Store!! I guess we will be going to Home Depot for now.

I take it you have never bothered to read the instructions printed on the paint can. It will tell you when using multiple cans to mix them together.

If you have ever watched paint being mixed various amount of colorant are added to the can and may be a very small amount and a few drops can make a difference.

The machines used for adding colorant are pretty good but it's possible to see a slight variation from one can to the next. Mixing the cans will give you an even color.

Paid 1900$ for a conventional oven .after 3 weeks of wait and multiple phone calls ,we have the appointment scheduled.installers come 30 minutes after the given window time,bring the wrong oven .they couldn't fit it in.so when we asked to put the old one back in,they break the door on our old oven.so then they come back later,they put the wrong oven in ( does not match the rest of our appliances ) and broke the base board and then just put it up to look like it was fine.it just fell out few hours later.i will never shop at lowe's again

Lowes review: Freezer Review from Ashland, Pennsylvania

I purchased an upright freezer at the Dickson City PA Lowes on July 31 2016. The purchase was completed by 1:30. I told the salesperson that I had to do several other errands and would be back in an hour to pick up the freezer. This would give the store time to pick the item. I returned at 3:30. No freezer. The store had not even started to process the order. No problem until it was over an hour later and still no freezer. First it couldn't be found even though it was in stock. Then after over 30 minutes it was found in a pod at the back of the store behind 3 pallets. At 5 I cancelled the purchase and left. The freezer I bought at 1:30 wasn't available by 5:00 and no one could tell me when it would be ready. That is the worst customer service ever. I will never by an appliance from Lowes again. In stock means maybe we can find it. My time is more valuable than this. Who puts appliances behind 3 pallets during the appliance sale?

Delivery of Samsung refrigerator from Lowes

I will never buy another appliance from Lowes. Bought a refrigerator in June and the first one came in dented, second one dented but believe it or not, the 3rd one was ok. Hate their delivery. The head guy had an attitude. Took of the hinges of front door for clearance and also the door stop. Put the hinges on dining room chair and after then left, I noticed black grease on the upholstery. The door stop was never put back. Tried to start the ice maker but they had never turned on the water connection. Had to pull out the frig and turn the valve for the water on. I would rather pay more for an appliance and buy from a reputable store. Never again…..Lowes.

Ordered a Samsung dishwasher on line on 7/25/16. Website specifies "free local delivery" . OK. 2 days after I placed the order I fond out that my CC has already been charged for the amount. During this time I did not receive any calls or e-mails. I called the store 3 or 4 times until I was able to talk to a receptionist. I got transferred to Appliances and after 8 or 10 rings back to the receptionist. This went back and forth couple of times. Receptionist took my name and was told I will get a call back. Nope. I called next day and got a hold of customer service. Was told my appliance is scheduled to arrive on the 29th and I will be notified immediately. I inquired as to why my CC was already charged and was told this is the procedure when they order from the manufacturer. And I thought they are retail. No call on the 29th. I called and left a contact #. Got a call back in about 2 hours and was told the appliance arrived; but, if I want to get it quickly I should come and pick it up myself. Not funny. I opted for delivery and was told they'll not be able to deliver until 8/7/16. Again, not funny. This is the first and last time I will purchase anything form Carson City Lowe's. This is probably the worst customer service I ever encountered

You didn't purchase it from the store, you purchased it online. That is like buying it at one store and wanting it delivered by another. Things would have gone a lot smoother for you if you had actually gone to the store and made the purchase there.
