Lowes Appliances Department Review from Seattle, Washington

I just walked into a Lowes store for the last time. I went in to look at some appliances and couldn't find the one i wanted. A rep walked by me and i asked if she could point me in the right direction . She told me i have to wait while she clocks in for the day ....i stood there for 3 minutes waiting. When she came back to me she took off ahead of me and then pointed in the direction of the appliance and then she walked off. It was the wrong product so i went back to the register and asked her again and this time she simply pointed and said that way. At this point i get the feeling i should leave Lowes and not purchase anything, but my wife convinved me to keep looking. Eventually we found the right product and then moved on to refrigerators. As we were looking at them a store manager walked up to us and said "im the store manager and i wanted to just say something real quick". I thought he was going to apologize for the way his rep treated us but instead he began lecturing us about our miniature lhasa apso that was sitting in the cart doing nothing. His lecture included us not bringing our dog back. At this point i am thinking this is the worst experience i have ever had in Lowes and we left the store and headed to Home Depot to purchase the appliances we need for the home we are building.

Found swing. It was the last one. No packaging I had to collect the pieces from a filthy box. Bird *** on vinyl seat had been stored outdoor all year. I asked if there was a discount due to lack of package and dirt. Response I can clean it up for u. $34.99. I would have been satisfied with 6 dollars off. I left it and the $80 BBQ cover. Home Depot. Lowes in Clovis, California - Total lack of concern for customer satisfaction

Purchased a dryer from Fresno,s Lowes store. Delivered wrong dryer first time, did not fit the opening. went back, purchased a different dryer. Was delivered but this time wrong dryer cord was sent. Had to take that cord back to exchange for correct cord. Delivery company said they would call me with a new (third time) time to actually install dryer. Needless to say they did not call as they said they would. I finally contacted the Lowe's delivery. Said they would come today,however I will believe it when I see them. Bottom line, I will never ever set foot in a Lowe's store again. Mgr of Lowe,s appliance in Fresno named Dale was wonderful and fair to me, as far as my opinion on the mgr of the appliance dept of fresno Lowes, I feel that he should consider another line of employment, one that does not require people and communication skills!!!

Lowes in Southport, North Carolina - Poor customer service

I ordered a microwave with installation. We picked up the unit at the store but when the installer came he said he was sent to "detail" the unit but didn't quite understand why that needed to be done. Nonetheless he refused to install the unit since the store had incorrectly omitted that we needed installation. After this was resolved after another visit to the store we have been receiving nearly daily phone calls asking whether the unit had been installed. Each caller said that no one had indicated that someone had called previously & that they would make a note. None do date have.

Lowes in Naples, Florida - Forgong my husbands signure to a repair warrenty order.

I brought a generator in because I was told that starter cable was under warranty and covered. When I picked it up I was charged for a new carburetor that I didn't authorize. The generator only had 1.1 hrs. on it . I also discovered that someone had signed my husband's name to the repair order. I have the original order with no signature on it. After a long process with the service dept. I managed get a reduction on the parts, but was told that I would have had to pay for the labor any how. So I put the 58+ dollars on my Lowe's credit card, of which I will be returning to you and will no longer use Lowe's, I will drive the extra 12 miles to Home Dept. I bought a ventfree propane fire place from oneonta ny lowes and they nevr told me it was a display model that was damaged and broken(although he happened to tell me tht when I called to complain) so we return it cuz it was broken. They day after we bought the fire stove tho they called and said tht our special order was in even tho we never special order anything lol but aparently they said we did. So we figured ok since this one doesn't work we will just call and let them know we will take it anyway so I call and let them know we r returning it the next day and make sure the stove ordered is the same price. And the lady checked and said yup. So we return it and then the manager said tht we coukd ha e it for tht price tht its her mistake. So I get pissed and say thts not my prob and tht aren't staying true to their word and give goid costumer service and they proceed to say that is not their prob
