I am SSOOOOO sick and tired of my Lowes Credit Card account!!!!!! There is NO grace period!!!! I spend loads of money there and like to pay my bill when I'm there because I'm there all the time. Didn't get there last night like I planned, so I go online to pay the bill today (ONE day late!!!!!) and they charged a $25 late fee (if I had to add up how many times they have done this to me it would be hundreds of dollars!!!). I understand that they need people to pay their bills on time and should be accountable for their accounts........ but we're not talking MONTHS late!!!!!! If I was a customer that spent $100 every 2 years I would understand...... I guess it's just me...... so I closed ALL my Lowes accounts and will NEVER step foot in their door again!!!!!

Your complaint isn't with Lowe's, it's with ge synchronicity bank because they handle the credit cards, not Lowes.

Your complaint is invalid anyway, you've admitted to paying it late but complain about a late charge. Pay your bill on time, it's not hard.

I made a purchase at Lowes on Commerce Palms Drive, Tampa, Florida 5/20/16. I purchased a stacking rocking chair from the back of the gardening section. It was dirty but was the cleanest of the others. I brought it to the cashier, and she said its a lovely chair but its filthy. I told her all of the chairs back there was in that condition. She gave my daughter windex and a paper towel and told her to get started cleaning while I was getting the money for her. I gave her $43 and joined in helping my daughter clean the chair. The cashier said I will put the change here on your phone for you ($0.22), I took my receipt and change from her and put it into my purse. I pulled the cart to the front of the cashier to not block the other customers behind me. After about 5 minutes i was finished cleaning the chair and gave the cashier back her garbage can, windex, and paper towel. I said thank you and proceeded to walk out of the door with my purchase when the same cashier abandons her customers and asks me did you pay for that? I dont think you paid for it. I said yes I did. She asked for my receipt, after looking at my receipt she says no this is not it, embarassing me in front of the other customers. Meanwhile I've got all of her customers eyeballing me as if I stole a big chair from the store. Then she says oh yes it is, ok you did pay for it. Then tells the other customers its a lovely chair but it was so filthy while I walked away. I was so upset I regret I didn't return it and buy the chair at walmart instead. I should have been offered a discount for the dirty chair I paid full price for, or at least the cashier could have gotten someone to come and clean it for us. Instead, I cleaned it myself with my daughter and was still racially profiled and accused of not paying for it by the cashier who I just paid.

Lowes in Smithfield, North Carolina - Worst refrigerators in the series

I purchased a whirlpool French door bottom freezer may 31,2015. Six months,freezer stopped defrosting and ice build up. Repairman came out and it lasted for a couple of months. Lowes sent a new refrigerator same model and cubic foot, and it did the same. I asked for another model with top freezer and if it craps up,I will be returning for a refund. I think they sold Lowes a bad batch of whirlpool French door refrigerators. The one on loan now has ice at top of freezer door and it is not a French door. What has happened to Whirlpool?

Thanks for this feedback. I've purchased a Samsung fridge and have simular issues.

I have gotten no where from customer service reps nor supervisors.

Poor service. Waited about 30 minutes to talk to someone in Building Projects. Just one guy at the desk where people do all sorts of time consuming special orders. I ran into Allen, a Lowes associate by the glass cutting station and asked him for help. Allen advised he works in the gardening department and did not know how to cut glass. He pointed me back to Building Projects. I told him that there was a line there and I'd already waited 30 minutes. Allen stated, "sorry I can't help you" and walked off. Lowes, the correct answer is, "Let me find someone that can help you." Or at least find someone to help the poor guy by himself at Building Projects.

Consumers keep demanding lower prices and about the only way for stores to lower their prices is to lower their cost of doing business. They can't cut the rent, taxes, electrical, heating and cooling costs, etc, etc.

One of the few things they can control is the cost of payroll and to do that they cut staff. Just as you wouldn't expect the employee in the produce department of a grocery store to go back and cut meat for you you shouldn't expect everyone at Lowes to know how to do everything. If you are looking for service a big box store is not the place to be shopping.

Go to a glass shop or Ace Hardware for your glass. Just be prepared to pay a little more foe the service you will get.

IT HOWEVER WAS INSTALLED ANYWAY & NOW LOWES WILL NOT WORK WITH ME, AS IT WAS NOT IN THE CONTRACT & KEVIN IS NOT COMING FORTH WITH THE TRUTH!!

Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson. Unless you have it in writing you don't have a leg to stand on. Anytime you are ordering a product or having work done get the details on a written sales contract.

Lowes - Maytag Washing Machine Review from Spartanburg, South Carolina

I just want to say I hate, hate, hate the Maytag Centennial MCT washer and dryer bought at Lowe's in Spartanburg, SC, several months ago. Thought I would try it out before complaining, but not anymore. People need to know how horrible these machines are. I paid cash for the units and wad told I would love them. Not true. They are poorly designed, and should be taken off the market. First, clothes do not come clean, not enough water to wash a handful of clothes, no place to add softener, I have to wash one load several times and the dryer is beyond words. A small load takes 2 hrs to dry and a heavier load is impossible. My power bill has more than doubled because of this. I have now limited my laundry to once a week. I am recently widowed and cannot afford higher electric bills, nor do I like the way my laundry looks. I know I am stuck with them, but if I could find one like my old set, I would give it away or have it hauled to the dump. I'm really surprised at Maytag for carrying this type product. Their reputation is better than that. Consumers BEWARE! Do not purchase this set--you will be greatly disappointed. A rub-board and clothes line works better. SHAME on Maytag and Lowe's for carrying this product!

Went to Lowe's to get two boards. They didn't have but they said we could cut on in two for you. I said "IK". Then the guy said, "But, we don't have a saw. Ours is broke down." I said, "When can you cut the board in half?" The guy said, "You never know. It could be a day or two ir if they have to order parts it could be a month." I said, "Do you have another saw you could use?" His answer, "Nope." I said "Guess I'll have to go to Home Depot." The Lowes guy said, "Be my guest." And here I was thinking they sold lumber and tools. Silly me!

Same thing happened to us at Home Depot, same scenario. So we said "but don't you sell saws?" "Doesn't work that way." "Can we buy a saw from you, cut the board, and then return the saw?" (Ok maybe that was sarcastic.).

I just kept complaining and asking for their superior.

I eventually it got to head manager. He found a saw that worked in the back!!

If the saw is broken, it's broken. It's not like you are paying for the service of having a board cut.

You're so cheap that you don't have your own saw to cut the board but expect them to have extras sitting around to provide a service that you don't pay for and costs them money (cost of the saw and upkeep as well as labor to cut the board).

It's amazing that consumers don't appreciate the things retail stores do for them. I'm sure they won't miss a customer as ungrateful as you.

I spent more than an hour, a dozen phone calls, and talked to a couple of very dumb girls, trying to reach someone in "customer service" with a clue. I can't count how many times I was put on terminal hold, disconnected, sent to a line that only rang and rang and rang. I was told by one of the *** girls that Lowe's doesn't have more than one refrigerator and it is backordered, another *** girl said there's nothing she can do to refund an order because of some *** internal reason that is of no concern to me. I will never spend one more penny with Lowes.

Here's another clueless person that thinks retail stores run into the back room and build products when they order them. If they don't have any more and can't get more from the manufacturer in a reasonable time or the product is no longer made most reasonable people would want a refund so they can buy something else. I expect most stores would be happy to have a person with your attitude shop elsewhere.
