My husband and I were shopping for a refrigerator to replace the one we have in our garage. We went to Lowe's in Loveland, CO. We found one on clearance for $769.00. We then went to Home Depot compared and returned to Lowe's where a sales woman helped us. After searching the computer for 20 minutes she called "Dave" who informed us that it was incorrectly marked and would be $1,000. Boy, I wish we would have been told that the first time we visited the store and saved us 2 hours. Next time, we will drive right on passed your store and start with Home Depot. Sorry Dave.

3rd time lowes has been less than honest. Twice the advertised fence boards at a great price.

When I arrived at the store they stated it was incorrect and wanted another dollar a board. Today it was a fence panel. One price at one store and a different much higher price at a store 5 miles away. What a crock.

Lowe price guarantee my hinny. They can't even match their own stores.

I worked there around this time. There actually was an accident.

So not only did we really lose a truck around the holiday, we had 2 injured workers. People need to stop assuming.

You must live in an extremely small, boring town if every vehicle that is totaled in an accident makes the news. More often than not the accidents that make the news involve fatalities. Being a Holiday weekend makes it even more believable that they had to cancel your delivery as it would have been harder to find a replacement vehicle on short notice.

Horrible customer service in the garden department at the Plano Riad store in Ruchardson, TX. Waited for over 15 minutes for Jose to respond to page from checker then got a shrug and we may be out answer response for an item featured in the weekend flyer.

Perhaps had you ordered earlier in the season you might have had quicker installation. I am sure you are not the only person buying a deck for their summer enjoyment.

Do you think you are so important that they are going to tell the people that bought and schedule construction before you that they need to wait for installation because someone that thinks their s hit doesn't stink wants their deck NOW. Guess what...you are no better than anyone else and will just have to wait your turn.

I never said or thought I was any better than anyone else. Just upset Lowes originally told us they could start the project July 15th and now have pushed it back to August 2nd. I think they need to communicate better when selling a project and work with more independent contractors so nobody has to wait this long

BEWARE SHOPPING AT LOWES IN LEOMINSTER IF YOU'RE BLACK OR BROWN

I recently went to Lowes in Leominster to buy some stuff with my 2 kids (pre-schooler and 1st grade). I went to the paint department and as I was looking for some paint brush and stains to buy, I noticed a middle aged white staff member looking in my direction, not asking if I needed help, and when I looked in his direction, he would act all busy trying to fix stuff on the shelf. I went over to the next aisle and this man stopped "fixing stuff on the shelf and stood behind the paint desk. On the next aisle I experienced the same situation this time a middle aged white woman, not bothering to ask if I needed help but..."busy fixing stuff on the shelf with one eye in my direction. I picked out what I needed to headed for the counter, I looked back and saw the two convened together behind the paint counter. I've spent thousands of dollars at this store when I was building my house . To the two associates, I can't change how you look at people who don't look like you but I'll be praying for you.

Lowes in Midland, Texas - Paint Department lack of service

On the morning of 6-30-16/Thursday at approximately 10:30am I went to paint department in Waco, Texas to get 1 more gallon of Valspar paint mixed for me (the Valspar paint I purchased 2 days earlier was not enough). I was told by both employees working there they were out of the semi-gloss/interior base and their truck would not be in until Tuesday/July 4th (being 6 days later). I told them that I was on my 2nd coat, having 2 walls coated with 2nd coat before I ran out, ergo I needed 1 more, asking "what I was supposed to do"... the lady that was working in paint department at the time responded "I can make it in another Valspar base sheen" (dah, why in the *** would I want a different sheen when I had two of four walls in same room to paint a 2nd coat on). Since both paint center employees said they would not have more for 6 days, "I" asked them to call the Temple TX Lowes (40 miles away from me on I-35 that is a traffic nightmare under construction) to see if they/Temple had any. Temple did have the Valspar base that was needed ... they did so and learned Temple had 16 gallons on floor/shelf and an entire pallet in back). I them called Temple on my cell phone, told them that I was the person from Waco that needed the Valspar (they offered to hold a gallon of Base at the paint counter). I drove to Temple (took me 1-1/2 hours travel time plus gas). When I arrived at Lowes/Temple paint department (approximately 1:00/afternoon) I was welcomed by a very nice/professional guy that promptly mixed the color I needed; I told him what happened in Waco, his response was there was really no reason why Waco Lowes couldn't have called them and had some of the Valspar base sent over from Temple to Waco (or supply brought in from Dallas) either next day/Friday or Saturday which would have been fine with me (BUT WACO LOWES didn't tell me this or offer to do ANYTHING at all ... they just said "no more Base until Tuesday/6 days later). Upon getting the paint in Temple, I went back to Waco and "VOICED my outrage" for lack of customer service (they hadn't offer to have next day/Friday or Saturday, it was to be 6 days before more would be in stock, told me NOTHING about their being able to get more Valspar Signature Base from Temple by next day or Saturday instead only truck comes on Tuesday/6 days later ... I asked to speak to the Lowes store manager in person, what I got instead was some young lady (not the store manager, she might have been a sub-front in register manager); she offered me a discount on 1 gallon of paint I drove to Temple to get, I was still so mad about this I could have chewed nails and spit tacks, so she credited my card back for the cost of the paint. I am sure there will be many others who want/need Valspar Signature paint (going to Waco store to get it) between today/Thursday and next Tuesday when their truck is supposed to come only to be told "out of stock until next Tuesday, some of them will leave and not wait (buying something other than Valspar Signature since they are the only paint store in Waco that has it, True Value Hardware in Hewitt/Tx that is a suburb of Waco carries some Valspar but not the signature series), with the rest having to drive 40 miles (80 miles round trip) to get it. We have two Home Depots in Waco, they will be the ONLY place I go from now on when I need paint, they don't have Valspar but they do have Sherwin Williams and Behr that are excellent brands as well. The $24.88 was refunded by Waco/Lowes, they showed it as "return" 16359, transaction #21313893 on 6-30-16 from the paint I purchased at the Temple Tx Lowes; which is about the best that I was going to get, but the b.s. I went through today was a "total lack of customer service by Waco Tx Lowes paint department

The only poor customer service you received was from the guy who popped off that it could have been sent to the store closest to you. While it CAN be done, it is seldom worth it.

They have to put your item on a delivery truck, staffed with a minimum if 2 people each paid well over $12 an hour and then spend the 5 hours round trip YOU are so outraged about not delivering appliances etc. AND thete is no guarantee all this would have happened any sooner than the 6 days you were originally quoted.

Worst of all you would have likely THEN believed that the delivery trucks were at your beck and call to bring any item from any store at any time you wanted it. I feel your pain and HATE that the 2nd employee so poorly managed your expectations...

Lowes in Colorado Springs, Colorado - Avoid like the plague!

Ordered a door with two side lights from Lowes. A month later, installer comes out, takes out my old door, puts in new one. When he finished, he asked me to have a look and sign off on his paperwork. One sidelight is missing the screen and both sidelights have damages knobs making them not close properly. Installer never said a thing and acted surprised when I pointed this out. Installation paperwork noted for the missing/damaged items and I'm assured Lowes will contact me. Fast forward 6 weeks later. Four trips into the store to talk to someone in person, multiple calls back and forth and still Lowes is unresponsive. Manager assured me after 1st week that they would refund me, but also assured me that it would never come to that. Opened a dispute, had Lowes out to take back their broken and incomplete door. Still fighting to get my funds returned. They are now trying to charge me for putting in a damaged door without my knowledge or consent.

My Name is Louise Thompson, May of 2016 I purchased flooring with Lowes for my Kitchen, Dining and living area. On May 31st My wood floor was installed I was not happy with the flooring and expressed my concern that I did not like all of the black going through the flooring and knots that is not what I was shone at the store. Walt says to me well there is nothing I can do about it now I call Lowes and when I got off the phone Walt says I am sure I will be back. One of the gentlemen working with Walt came back in the house and told me he agreed and he wouldn’t be happy either. Once the crew left I went in and there are boards that are higher than other ones so when you walk across the floor you can feel the difference on your feet I had many different colors in the flooring nicks & big knots in the flooring it was awful. I had quarter round for the kitchen and the other 2 rooms all was supposed to be oak but only enough was sent for the ceramic kitchen floor and a darker color for the other rooms they used the oak and of course didn’t have enough so they piece too different colors together. I have nicks in the walls I get that but they could of said something they used my refrigerator without asking and my garage was full instead of asking me to move something they plugged there saw in and I had sawdust in all of my totes of belongings. I have been in contact with Lowes in Kalamazoo on West Main and had many conversations between Chris, Laura, Gary, Carlos and Rueben all I get is the run around. They did sent a guy out to take pictures and I mentioned the different in the height of the wood he says that is normal I have been on several wood floors that is not normal he brought a level in with him but never used it basically took some pictures and left. I can’t tell you how many times I have been told we will get back with you one way or another with what we have found out and I don’t hear anything at all. I had never dealt with a company that is trying to figure out who is responsible and paying for it to be corrected before making sure the customer is taken care of I work in a business and if we worried about payment for damage before getting the product out to the customer first we wouldn’t have a business. I feel I should not of been place on hold this long and that my flooring should of all been taken care of first then deal with contractors for payment. Also I would like you to know that the crew was contracted for 3 days to complete the wood flooring and they completed it in one it was very rush and now I am paying for it. I feel that Lowes needs to comes and get my floor tore up and a new one put down and get new quarter round put down in the kitchen due to it is the wrong color. Since all of this I am going on 5 weeks with no furniture as it is in other rooms, in the garage at the neighbors, I have been paying a cable bill for two months and can’t watch TV, I am stressed to the max from all the running around from Lowes making excuses, doctors appointment from stress and breaking out in rashes and many tears. I also feel that when your employees are showing flooring to the customers that they show the whole picture and explain the difference in grains of the wood and colors not a small piece of wood that doesn’t show all the details. Throughout the day I would hear the crew mention the next job must have been something big in it for them so I paid the price on the job they did with my flooring. Frustrated, Louise Thompson

I visited Lowe's today 6/29/16 in Mccomb Ms.I just don't understand how your business has over 40 to 50 workers on dayshift working and every worker you have is lazy and just walks around doing Nothing!!!! My husband and I asked 3 different workers for assistance and none of them were helpful at all!!! U asked them where something is and the response is either I don't know or check aisle 9,10,or 11.Really??? Why can't they be helpful enough to walk the customer to the item you are looking for.Alot of the workers brag about making 12 to 15/hr and just ride t g e clock.this is ashame!!!!!! On another visit several months back ,I purchased a toilet for lowes.I am a young lady, the worker in that section knew that I was purchasing it but still didn't help to load on my buggy or help me transfer to my truck!!! Easily my back could have been broken...They need to be more helpful to customers instead of doing wasted labor.
