It took us over 3 months to order our carpet due to going ther several times and no one ever being able to assist us. The measured our home and didn't ask what carpet we wanted. When we picked a pattern they told us the needed to come again. Which delayed the install even more. Finally we went and paid for the carpet and they never called us for the install. I called several times until someone could tell me who to call to install the carpet. Everything seemed great until the came to install. We order the plush padding the installers left the old padding in the walk in closet when we asked them they said they put the plush padding which the clearly did not. We looked and it was the old carpet padding not cool. They lied to our faces after we were so nice to them. I called lowest right away and they have still failed to call me back. It's been 3 days now and no call back the entire experience has been bad to think lowes is a big company they would make this right but nothing. It feels like they didn't think that there employees lied to us and stole our padding is an issue.

Lowes in Scottsdale, Arizona - Bought a new washer was delivered a used washer

I bought a new washer and dryer from Lowes at the south Scottsdale store on McDowell and Hayden not long ago and was delivered a used washer. On delivery day, after the washer was installed the delivery person turned to me and said that it was a used washer and not a new one then handed me a sticker that had the washer’s model number on it and the words AS IS. He said Lowes does it all the time and the sticker he handed me is supposed to remove before delivering the items to the customer. The model number written on the AS IS sticker match the model number on the receipt for my new washer. He asked me not to tell anyone what he did and I didn’t until now. I believe they must have been doing this a while. They were pretty brazen about what they delivered to me. The used washer had numerous mars and dings along the top control panel, dirt at one bottom corner and it did not work. The instruction manual was in a ripped open clear plastic bag with a blue piece of tape hanging off it. I trusted Lowes and thought they were a cut above Home Depot, nope, I was so wrong I did return the used washer hooting and hollering (but very nicely) that I found an as is sticker on this dinged up, dirty and broken washer. I insisted that the store manager do an investigation into why this happened, results were they had a tent sale that previous weekend and there must have been a mix up. Nope, doesn’t cut it with me because I know better. Went higher to the regional manager and insisted on an investigation, results were a bit better but was there really anything done about it? If the scheme is to pocket money from selling shafted customers new appliances, are they going to want to stop? And how far up does the rip off go? I tried to go to the national manager but was treated poorly by corporate customer service and was told that I “accepted” the regional managers investigation and the matter is closed unless I want to hand write a letter and mail it in. I never accepted any investigating because I knew what they were doing and wanted to make sure I put a stop to it. The real reason it was closed was because the washer was no longer in my possession. But I had taken pic of the dings, dirt and opened manual package, blue tape hanging off and all. Plus I have that AS IS sticker. When all was said and done I remembered that on the day I purchased the washer I was standing behind the lady appliance manager as she was putting in my order and I saw As Is next to one of the line of washer order numbers on the computer screen but it quickly disappeared. I trusted Lowes and forgot about it until later. That was my NEW, AS IS washer being ordered by the lady appliance manager right under my nose. They must have been doing this for a long time to be that brazen to do it with me standing behind her. But, I truly trusted Lowes and my thought was she passed that one and ordered the one below it. Not so. My recommendation is that if you bought any type of appliance for the Lowes at McDowell and Hayden in the last couple of years, to demand a new one be delivered in the box, unopened, at your door (check the very bottom, they cut it open down there to check the appliance for damage, per regional manager). Print off my review and take it with you, shove it in their faces, they know who I am; they definitely do and demand you get your new appliance.

Lowes Power Pressure Water Washer Warranty Review from Denver, North Carolina

I bought a warranty for the power washer I bought. I had already had trouble with one, so I knew problems would probably come on this one too. Sure enough, Beginning of season 2, would not start. I took it in, called the warranty co. Yesterday, they informed me it would be a $120.00 charge. There was dirt in the carb. and apparently, that is not covered. It seems the warranty only covers defects of the product by normal wear and tear. Imagine equipment that is used outdoors could get dirt into the carb. I'm done with warranties. Next time the clerk asks if I want the warranty, I'll have plenty to say.

What kind of service is that leaving a pregnant lady with hot water in the summer time without a fridge!!! Had i known how bad their service was I would have gone elsewhere!

I just saw a Father's Day ad where them selling you a BBQ is much more important than a son's imperfect gift. Where are the family values? Perhaps next they'll follow Target's lead and let you choose your bathroom. Gone are family values. I will switch back to Home Depot (and hope they don't decide political correctness is more important than our roots). This site requires there be at least 100 words. Why? I am just typing now to meet that requirement. They must think that rambling is much more important that stating you comment succinctly. Horible customer service ever in San Angelo Tx. Bought plants and they marked them down 4 days later and would not give me difference in a refund. Will never go back!!! It's Home Depot from now on!!!

It what is known as seasonal closeouts. Christmas decorations get marked down after Christmas and stores don't refund the difference either.

You are foolish if you think the policies will be different at other stores.

At then end of the season stores mark things down to get rid of them. If you want the closeout price, wait till then end of the season to make your purchase.

Kingwood, TX Lowes. Washing machine scheduled for next day delivery between 5:30. -6:30 pm. I called xpo their delivery service who could not reach the driver. Calked the store and Tim delivery manager said running behind because a refrig they delivered did not work.!! So I was told they were on delivery 10 and I was 13. This was at 4:50 pm. Delivery company xpo was supposed to call to tell me running behind and did not. Called Lowes again spoje to assistant manager after xpo told me delivery between 6-9 pm!! I figure even a 2 hr delay should put them here by 7:30 pm. The assistant manager said that xpo is not supposed to scedule after 8 pm! He is supposed to call Raoul the supervisor at xpo. Waiting for a call back. Told him if they show up at 9 pm i will refuse delivery. 3-1/2 hours setback because if delay delivering tge frig that did not work is ***!!

Why were you calling at 4:50 when your delivery window was 5:30-6:30?

And two hours later would be 7:30-8:30.

If the washer they delivered to you didn't work would you want them to leave it?

Take it back? Or go back and get you one that did? I imagine that's also what the person getting the fridge wanted too, and a fridge is a much bigger priority than a washing machine.

Please take your business elsewhere. We'd rather not have customers like you.

I recently bought a new refrigerator at Lowes and they promised to deliver it within a week . They initially told me it would be delivered from 1-3 which didnt happen ... As soon as they got here the delivery guys did not install the refrigerator and since they had promised to deliver it from 1-3 and were late I was not at home, I was at work. A $1600+ refrigerator that doesnt work is useless. I called the service department and told them what happened and they told me that I would get a call back from them in 24 hours. That was their final response after being on hold all morning and part of the afternoon. from 9-3. I never received a call from them and I finally had to reach out to them again and they finally scheduled me to get service. In less than 24 hours I got a call saying that they had to cancel my service appointment because they technician had a bad back and couldnt come out to see me.... (like if he was the only technician that was employed) I rescheduled and they told me that they have to get it approved through the company to see if that was going to work for them.. i thought this was about getting someone out here to make sure the customer is satisfied with our appliance.. apparently not... They also told me that I had to pay for any repairs that had to be done on this refrigerator even though when I received it, it wasnt working ( ***).....long story short.... I have a month to return this refrigerator and by the looks of it the are going to keep stalling the service until i no longer have the 30 day money back guarantee... *** LOWES

I never understood why people order and pay for things, and then on delivery day want to act like they have plans that will save human kind and ***...come on..take a whole day off and figure stuff out if it's that important

Lowes Bath Remodel - Never Again

Average size bath remodel - should be fairly simple. Nope - Nothing short of a fiasco and a nightmare. You're fed a bill of goods about how Lowe's stands behind their products and customers. They really do not. They are trained to say "I fully understand how you feel" and "I apologize for any inconvenience". But if they never cure the problems, these are empty words spoken by robots. They trip over themselves trying to manage a project. Their subcontractors have no time management skills; supposed General Contractor, no where to be found. No oversight at project. Problems arise that they refuse to address in an email. If it's not in writing - it doesn't have to happen. Bullied into rushing to finish the job, rather than fixing the mistakes they caused. It is just plain awful the way these people conduct themselves. Do yourself a favor - so a lot of research, find a professional contractor, and steer clear of these very unprofessional and disingenuous people.

Lowe's refuses to install a particular flooring in my home. I asked if they had an installer I could call. "Sorry against policy". Feel like they just left me hanging. Called Home Depot. No problem. Guess who I'm buying my flooring from. I don't understand why Lowe's has a policy that prohibits customers' from participating in promotional. Have to hit a hundred words but I've written everything pertinent.
