Lowes - Changing sales prices in the middle of sale
This company makes change in the middle of there sale just because they can and they want behind there customers i saved this in my cart and was going to buy from them after i made sure it was the best for me and i shopped around and everyone who had this frig was the same price as i looked. But they all changed there adds and price went up so lowes in the middle of there add changed there price and tried telling me i was looking at another frige and i told then no it was the same one that has been in cart for over 5 days. They try to make the customer look like there wrong while there really cheating us for there mistakes. Such bull buyers beware.

It says right on their website, WEEKLY ADS. So they change. and saving it in the cart does nothing but keep it for you so you don't have to search it again.

Just because you put an item in your cart doesn't mean any store will hold a price till you pull the trigger and make the purchase. The price was good the day you put it there.

After that the price may stay the same, go up or go down. I can pretty much guarantee you wouldn't have made a post complaining if the price had gone down and they wanted to charge you less than the price it was when you put it in the cart.

Like i said if you would have read everything. The sale said till the 9th and it’s not the 9th yet and me pulling the trigger shouldn’t Matter if the sale hasn’t ended.

I have never had a sale Change in the middle of it.

So your logic means *** about it dropping it shouldn’t go up until it ends. I’m just saying

That’s the way it works with all retailers on the internet. They have the right to change the price at any time. With Lowe’s, to lock in the price, you can go to the store and get a written estimate which is good for up to 30 days.

Prices continually change on the internet. If a competitor drops their prices you will see prices fall and move back up as the competitor raises their price back up.

Lets say Lowes sale price started at $999 and Best Buy dropped their price to $899 on the 3rd, Lowes would follow. If on the 5th, Best Buy went to $999 Lowes would take their price back to $999.

Putting the item in your cart on the 4th won't get you the $899 price on the 6th. If you see a price on the internet you like pull the trigger and make the purchase.

Worst Installation Ever

Lowes - Worst Installation Ever
Do not ever go with Lowe's for an Installation as they use Installers that are not certified. My Generator has not worked from the 1st day it was Installed. Lowe's wants us to allow the original Installer back to correct 2 things that they say are wrong with the Install. We hired a Generac Certified Lowe's Installer, that Generac suggested to us, to go over the entire Install and we have a list of things wrong that Lowe's will not correct. 1 being the Installer used the wrong grade of wiring, which is a fire issue and we are being told that is not a problem that needs to be fixed. Another thing being the Installer used the wrong transfer Switch, that we paid for and he did not order, which is theft and Lowe's finds this acceptable. We didn't get the product that we paid for and Lowe's finds nothing wrong with this. So you pay for a product and Lowe's can substitute for the wrong product. The list goes on and on of codes that the Installer violated and Lowe's is trying to say the list means nothing and there are only 2 things to correct. Lowe's said we could not get a refund on this poor Installation, even when it was within the 30 days. Here's a list of all the things wrong and we have pictures also, but Lowe's is saying there are only 2 things to correct. We have asked for the Generac Certified Installer to correct everything, since he knows what he is doing and was told no we have to use the original Installer and he is only to correct the 2 things that are wrong. This has been going on for 5 months now of being told I can not get my money back and I have to allow the original Installer back to correct 2 things. Lowe's also said they will not talk compensation until the job is done. They think people are stupid but I know exactly what they are going to give us and that's 10 - 15% back, which doesn't cover all our pain and suffering we have endured over this Install and not to mention, no Generator for 5 months now and an Installer that stole from us and put our family at risk with the wrong grade wiring and the generator not being so many feet from an opening, which can cause carbon monoxide poisoning to our families, but Lowe's is saying there are only 2 things that need to be corrected. I could go on and on with the list.

We recently moved from Hendersonville, TN to Prattville, AL. Both Hville and Pville have a Lowes and a Home Depot. The Lowes store in Hville was far superior to Home Depot. As a result of our move we needed all new appliances. We chose Lowes in Pville for our appliance purchases based on our experience in TN. After 14 months and a very unsatisfactory encounter with Lowes management today--Pville Home Depot is far superior [in every regard] to Lowes. The lack of concern for a service issue and the hostility exhibited at Pville Lowes today exceeds any [except for one with GM in 1980] I have experienced at any retail establishment in my 73 years.

They had a advertised 11% rebate on paint copied the receipt from the register filled out the information online and a response I got two months later was did not meet the rebate requirements , not sure if I still have the receipt now but either way it’s not worth screwing with for as little as they’re giving your back

I took the blind that I bought back and was told that he didn't have time to cut me another blind. He went to help another customer.

When I called about the blind. I was told I would be called right back and I waited 2 to 3 hours and had to goo back up to the store.

Every customer should be treated with respect, and when they tell anyone something it should be honored. Very unhappy about the way I was treated

I was told several times and by two people, that I would be called back, never got a call back at all, so I went back up there, and was told by an employee, that they didn't have time to fix my problem, They need to get employees that care about their customers and call back when they say they are going too, I have spent a lot of money in Lowes within the past year, and I deserve to be treated with respect

Installed fence 8 months ago,fence has 2 gates,gate post are lose in the ground,gates will not close without pushing post to the side.They used VERY LITTLE concrete to set the post.The job was to be done in 30 days, took 3 months.

Big lack of detail here. What process did you start?

Many people start shopping for and planning a large project months before ordering any materials. When was your order actually placed and what hasn't arrived?

Hate to tell you this but it isn't uncommon to have to re-order a few cabinets due to damage when the cabinets are shipped across the country and handled several times before getting to your home. Your are often better off having a local cabinet shop build and install your kitchen as there is less chance for damage and if it does happen they can quickly repair or replace the cabinet.

Filled out rebate online, nothing happens when click "submit"

Been trying for days to submit the 11 percent stuff, have 5 receipts. Nothing happens when I click submit. Double checked today on to see status, nothing, so the ones ive been trying to submit aren't being received. purchase date 4-22-19, today is 4-28-19, so ive tried like 6 times now. Lowes in general seems to be going downhill, at least my store is. Very dirty store anymore & staff like a rotating door last few months. BTW im a long time customer who flips houses, only use lowes mostly for the 5% off credit card. Got to admit we are becoming pretty tired of the un-knowing staff these days, store is run-down, and now this rebate submission hassle particularly after reading other dis heartening stories.

Submit using CHROME search engine and it should work. I was having the same issue and when I used CHROME it worked.

I have indeed called. The rather uncaring /casual about it customer service guy says lots of people have been having this problem, just keep trying.

I asked for how to send it in, he gave me a link to a form, and then said don't send it till the deadline is getting close. the link will work eventually.

So I have tried about 40 times since. Im thinking there must be a purposeful delay, so they don't get swamped with these, I don't know.

If you would read their FAQs section you would see that it says it could take up to two weeks from the time you submit a rebate online for it to appear under Rebate Status. It took about two weeks for mine to appear and they did yesterday.

Yesterday it said it was processing and today it says rebate sent. That's a *** of a lot quicker than rebates I've submitted to other companies!

In lowes search entered "stockade fence + dogeared+8' x 6' " and not one result was of fence.tried to find fence available to no avail.

It's as easy as typing in dog eared fence panel. Quite a few pop up. Try simple requests rather than adding a bunch of qualifiers as they might not match an exact description.

Screwed out of rebate

Purchased two storm doors from Lowes on 3/20/19 during the 11% rebate program. Submitted the 11% rebate request online that same day. Total eligible receipt after discounts was $759.92. Just got our "rebate" back in the amount of $.75. We spend way too much money at Lowes for this kind of BS.

Were the doors in stock? Did you have them installed? If you look at the fine print on their rebate form you will find that special ordered products and installations are items not included in their rebate.

Cabinets and Granite issues

JUST SAY NO, DONT BUY CABINETS OR GRANITE FROM LOWES. DONT BE ENTISED BY THE SALE. NOT WORTH IT. If Lowes continues their modus operandi, they will go the way of K-Mart and eventually out of business. I ordered cabinets and granite from Lowes, a disaster by all involved. The store manager split excess costs with me, (all caused by Lowes) I paid the costs just to get this over. The mental expense and time invested is worth paying more with a small reputable company. CLASS ACTION is necessary to for Lowes to hear us. I dealt with Corporate office; they did nothing but waste my time.

No counter tops

Lowes had to refund my money...They should pay interest..They did nothing to keep me as a customer...Everytime I buy something for my home remodel at Home Depot I feel great..Lowes is missing out on about $30000 for my remodel.....Hope they go out of business!!!

Shorted fencing that I paid for

Lowes charged me for 42 lf of fencing, a 10ft drive gate, and a 4ft walk gate. When installed I received 28 lf of fencing, an 8ft drive gate, and a 4ft walk gate. I was clearly shorted the drive gate I paid for, but more importantly the 14 feet of fencing that was never delivered or installed. I have been back and forth with the sales department and they refuse to make it right. I have a clear contract that outlines this and physical proof that I did not receive what I initially paid for. If I could give them a 0 in ratings I would. They have no concern with customer satisfaction and therefore I will not be returning as a customer for any of my home improvement needs.

ordered a bath counter top in Jan 2019...It is now April 2019...Never did get the counter top...All they did was credit my account, so now I have to get my money back from the bank and find a new counter top.... no one really cared, now its home depot from now on. If you do any business with lowes, do it at your own risk....

Why does it take 4 months for them to realize that they cannot get it. You will be much better off going to a company that can tell you how long it will take to get.

Lowe’s shipped 4 cracked ,chipped sinks to our customer before she got one in decent shape.

It’s been my experience not to buy anything you want to last from Lowe’s or Home Depot the quality isn’t there. Spend a little extra and go to a Plumbing supplier.

Why would a customer wait 4 months to request a refund? As you say the sinks were "shipped" it doesn't sound like they were delivered from the store.

Were they shipped via UPS or other carrier from the manufacturer? In any case they normally come in a box that encloses the sink.

Most stores aren't going to open boxes as all too many customers would make a stink about the product being in open box and want a discount claiming it was a returned or used product. These problems can happen at any retail store you buy from.

Lowes doesn't manufacture the countertop. Unfortunately their manufacturer didn't follow through and ship your top.

What did you expect Lowes to do? Did you think they should keep you money and say "tough luck"? Sounds like they did the right thing and issued a refund. Refunding you purchase in the form it was paid is pretty standard at any retail store.

If you look at Home Depot's complaints (or any other retailer) you will find that things go wrong at other stores as well. Good luck with your next order.

Where is my washer

My son-in-law purchased a washer for me on 3/30/2019. He put a wrong telephone# on the order when he purchased it. I spent almost 2 hours on the telephone yesterday (4/1/2019) trying to change that telephone # and find out when my washer was going to be delivered. When I called 800-810-****, I was told that I needed to call the local delivery company and talk to them. When I called them, I was told that I needed to call the store where I purchased the washer. When I called them, I was told that I needed to call the delivery service at the 800#. I lost it, at that point, and the sales person was finally agreeable to help me. He called the 800# twice, with me on hold, and was hung up on. I still don't know where my washer is and when it will be delivered. My husband and I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's, several years ago, and had a bad experience with the delivery service then. They broke a shelf inside the fridge, when delivering it and would not take responsibility for it and fix it. We ended up having to purchase a fridge elsewhere. Their delivery service is horrible!
