My washing machine broke down and we bought one from Lowes, Bluffton, SC that they said was "in stock" and scheduled a Monday morning installation. No show at noon and called for nearly an hour with no answer or hangups. Finally got some *** who had a problem with English saying "person at lunch!" Called back about 14:00 and was told that the item was damaged and no delivery today. Wasted a whole day waiting for them when they knew early on there would be no delivery and never had the courtesy to call, Finally called in the evening to say it was re-ordered and would take a week or so! SCREW THEM! Ordered from AJ Madison at lower price and sooner delivery!

Lowes in Houston, Texas - Trim you can't buy 3ft you buy 12ft only

was at lowes store on hwy 249 and got gal paint & tape and i wanted a 3ft piece of trim the saleman told me you got to buy the whole 12ft i ask for a manger they told me hes in a meeting ..so talked to man said he floor manger he give me same anwser i would have to buy the whole 12 or 16ft . on the trim it had a sticker a bar code that said $1.49 a ft. so if they cut 3ft off i would pay that price lowes would not lose no money . thats ok just went to home depot got what i wanted . BUT i made a trip to lowes an got paint tape while i was in the store i should have got a refund . kenneth thomas

Lowes in Birmingham, Alabama - Impossible to speak to a human!!!

I opened a lowes credit account and I never got a card. I called them back in October and they told me that my card would ship Dec 22. Yes, two months after I called! I still haven't gotten my card!. I've tried to call them but it's impossible to speak to a human at lowes customer service or lowes consumer credit. The only time I got through to lowes consumer credit it sounded like the agent put me on mute and then hung up two min later. Having been completely unable to speak to anyone at Lowes consumer credit I tried calling lowes customer service. Held for 15 min and never spoke to a human!

Lowes in Mooresville, North Carolina - Employees are treated poorly!

I think Lowe's employees are treated poorly unless u kiss *** or u are a favorite they treat them like dirt! I think it should be investigated and have people see how they are treated! It is a shame that they work so hard and treated so bad!!! This an issue I saw a manager yell at an employee on the floor with imbarrissment to the employee!!! This employee was in tears and wanted to quit working at at the company! Lowe's of Palm Desert is famous for this! I want this taken care of or I will report this to the labor board!

That happens at every Lowes I work at one and we are treated like ***!!! I was told today by my boss on the sales for not hello how are you but do you like working here cause you get on my nerves and are lazy and I wish you would quit !!! I love my job, and have always took pride in my work !!!

Lowes was once a decent place,wall street cut all benefits and is fine as a pass through job,never a career.Take the job,you will find something better,it is like fast food jobs.

Go ahead and contact the labor board. Ask them if embarrassing an employee is actionable.

Ignored by lowes bath dept when trying to order glass shower doors.

sat 2/27/2016 lowes/cortex rd bradenton fl. when to bath remodeling desk..no one there..found cataloque. found the dreamline shower doors we wanted and also a display. waited 15 minutes..asked a lowes person in another dept for help. did not know anything..actually found one guy from the dept who said he was busy and the other "guys" went to lunch..it was 3 pm. we wait 15 minutes .we left..the irony is in 2002 we tried to order stuff at home depot for an entire house.ignored we went to lowes and got superb service and spent over 79k there..today we went back to home depot and special ordered the doors in 15 minutes. what a turn of events in home depot service versus lowes going down hill.

What can one say about my local Lowes store. When it opened a few years back I was excited that I no longer have to shop at Home Depot. I now have a choice. The last three visit included employees ignoring customers, employees uninterested in their job, employees using inappropriate language amongst themselves when in ear shot of the public. Cashier lack of friendliness or enthusiasm in performing their duties. Also lack of response from store management. Kudos to management if their goal is to emulate Home Depot or Walmart (no service at the highest profit). If management is serious about customer feedback then look at Costco, OSH and yes Taco Bell. I have noticed Taco Bell employees to be friendly and knowledgeable. For pete sake they are a fast food joint. How very sad how lowe's has fallen short of just basic customer service. To employees- if you don't enjoy working their than quit. Stop abusing the customer with poor service. I've been an advocate of supporting my local business. But with these recent experience at this location I am now forced to take my business to Amazon.

Do not use Lowes for contracting services. They use horrible subs, do Not respect personal property, charge you upfront, and have a forced arbitration clause to avoid accountability. Please beware and use others.

I have been waiting a year to get a storm door replaced.... after blasting Lowe's on Facebook a representative called me. Immediately he set up a time for an installer to come out. Although the installer canceled twice....he finally arrive Saturday morning three weeks later without my door...... with only instructions to repair my door not....replace my door. It really isn't this installers fault...he was only following information he was given by a very inefficient customer service. I am so disillusioned with Lowe's...... Everyone is now passing the buck. Come on Lowes....all I want is what I paid for!!!!

We purchased an upright freezer. The handle was slightly bent, but they offer us a few bucks off so we agreed to purchase it anyway. The next day the freezer arrived and was clearly damaged far more than what it was in the store. The delivery driver explains that the freezer took a tumble while in the truck. He then offered us an additional discount in order to accept it as is. We refused. We contacted the store manager and was told we would receive a new freezer the following Friday. To our surprise (our dad waited for the delivery) we came home to the very same freezer that had clearly been patched up and painted over, the same damage to the handle was there and the same dents (that they could get out) were there. Of course when we contacted the store in complete disgust no one knew what we were talking about. They're willing to offer us an additional discount (we told them no on Sunday so why would we change our minds on Friday?) and a warranty ($70) to just keep the damaged freezer and forget they tried to pull a fast one on us. We are sickened at the way this company handles business. We destroying our credit card and will never do business with Lowes again.
