Low’s extended warranty

Worst customer service in regard to warrantee ever in the retail industry I strongly strongly suggest anyone NOT to buy buy the extended warranty or shop at lows for that matter.I’ve had a claim open on my brand new dryer since end of September 2018 and I keep getting false promises on delivering parts , getting calls from lows customer service on a schedule service for my dryer and nothing has been done it’s all lies lies lies... I will not trust low’s nor recommend them

Lowe's has NO warranties on anything they sell. Never have, never will.

The days of retailers standing behind the products they sell have died along with Sears. But saving money is what it's all about.

You understand so little about warranties. Warranties are either provided by the MANUFACTURER of the product or extended service plans are purchased through independent companies.

If, as you claim you have a brand new appliance it would be covered by the manufacturers 1 year warranty.

It is the manufacturer you should be blaming for delays, not Lowes. My guess is that if you are having a considerable delay in getting parts it is because you purchased an appliance such as LG of Samsung that are made in Korea and they are waiting for parts to get here from the other side of the world..

It’s not my 1st Applience that I purchased from lows and the completely understand their warranty however you are responding.. and over the years lows always been the best in regard to giving the right information as they promised their consumer and that’s the reason I kept making them my primey place for my home Applience and improvement .

However, this time I had the worst experience and I should have listen to the views about lows getting a bad reputation and now I understand. It started in sep 2018 where they giving me false information saying: your part arrived and they will call you to schedule it yet nothing happen this happened more then 5times. I was told they will replace it because they can’t find the part then they change and say Oh we want to conf that the service company going to call you ....... This is all happened during the besiest time Christmas time spending hours over the phone and waiting for the service company to show up .

Lows made my holiday very stressful. I will definitely take my business to home depo where they care about their customer no matter how much they spend .

Sounds like your complaint should be about the service company, not Lowes. Lowes is not responsible for the Warranty, the manufacturer and the service companies they use are.

The contact is low’s and they have their own contract with few company which lows calls them to delicate the service claim NOT ME. A big company as low’s they are present by those contractor .

Low’s should be doing a better job assisting me . Again low’s promised me a call this week between wed and Friday to schedule my service and just I expected lows just preached me off to end my phone call.

I repeated they got my money for the extended warranty and they don’t care wither I have to go out of my way to do my loundry plus the cost plus the ageny with the irritation and bad customer service and The laying to me over and over and they still have not fixed it . I will be placing another call today to hear another lay for the 2ed time this week and over 16 times since oct 2018.

I hired Lowe's to replace the wooden door of my dry way with a new vinyl. They came to finish the work on the scheduled date 11/20/18 the work was half done and very bad to see after a month still the doors do not have a latch, the wind has done some damage, and had to move my dog My brother's house escaped twice. I have communicated with the customer service four times and they only tell me that I should keep waiting. for the price that I already paid them, they should provide much better service but it seems that they have no intention of finishing my work, in the end they charged in advance. It is really very worrying that large and established companies like Lowe's are also committing to scam their clients with many chances that their scams go unpunished. Be very careful with Lowe's they do not respect their customers

46 days, still in motel, still unable to return to my home and have access to any of my personal items. No refunds for any receipts I have turned in.

My credit card is max out. I am having to choose between eating or putting gas in my car so I can travel back and forth to check my mail, meet appraiser, going to the food bank, Dr. appointments... I feel I am being held hostage by Lowes/ Keller interriors(installers).

Several emails to Lowes insurance claims officer Suzett Grist asking for detailed plan, process, time frame for refund, any information has gone unanswered. Calls and emails to local Lowes manager Sharon Clark is answered with the phares " I have past it on". The stress is wearing on my health. I am in the process of seeking the help of a third party.

Year and a half to solve what started out to be a "fixable problem", only to be made worse every step because Lowes and Keller interiors would not step up and take responsibility.

My advise to anyone who has had flooring installed by Lowes who contracts out to Keller interiors, check what is under your flooring. Just because you paid for professional installation and moisture barrier is no guarantee that is what you will get.

First installation of laminate floor discovered moisture barrier still in garage after job completed. Took 3 weeks before Lowes came to the house to verify. Only " solution" (because contract I signed) to give them the opportunity to fix the problem. The fix was to tear up the floor, lay moisture barrier, then lay same flooring again. Not what I wanted but I did sign a contract. Within 6 months floor is "peaking". 6 more months of testing moisture levels 3 different times, Lowes insisting I must have a leak in my home. All home inspection none. I had time to read small print and all the manufacturer's warrinty. Warrinty is only good for FIRST installation only. Got $ back for installation and will get refund for flooring when I return the floor. Had the floor taken up. LESS then 100 sq ft of my 1200sq ft floor to be covered was covered with moisture barrier. Strips of barrier were cut 5in by 10 in place in doorways at transitional trim to make it appear the barrier had been laid through out. My Home is now condemned, do to mold. All my furniture, mattress, rugs, all pours surfaces will need to be disposed of. My house will have to be to totally emptied and inventoried,cleaned from top to bottom. There is also cross contamination in the garage, and my car. This is my third week in a motel waiting for Lowes insurance just to approve the clean up. After that if everything goes right will take at least 9 days. I have sent Lowes the bills from motel and food but have not received a refund yet. I have MS and liver disease,this has been really hard on me physically. I don't dare say it can't get worse!

You did not create a house-condemning mold problem in barely a year. A fluctuating moisture reading indicates other problems as well.

Certainly an ill fitting floor doesn't help but there's no way that the presence or lack of the thin plastic "barrier" caused a system wide failure. I'm sorry about your health issues but it sounds like the real problem has been brewing for some time.

According to the moisture reading taken by keller interior and Lowes before the First installation, it was 2. well below acceptable reading in Florida.

There was a second reading before the 2nd reintallation.The floor was without moisture barrier on bare cement for total of 18 plus months. If at any time the problem had been addressed and taken care of correctly/professionally from the very beginning instead of purposely damaging the flooring when reinstalling and being deceptive in laying the moisture barrier the second time, not to mention stealing the other1200 sq ft of the barrier that was obviously not used in my house, it would have never been an issue. I also have been assured by the the mold cleaning professional that Lowes uses, and two other professional installers, that the lack of the barrier is the source of the problem allowing the moisture to be in direct contact with the flooring resulting in the black mold.

Why did you think it was an " ill fitted floor"? Have you had issues with Keller installation too?

You stated that the floor "is peaking" which indicates improper or damaged goods , not properly fitting the original tongue and groove cut. I have lived in Florida myself and found that the laws of physics are stretched to the limit there because of humidity (which we in the north very rarely see as an issue).

If each piece wasn't placed in the previous location, they won't fit right. It only takes an inch per foot before a 12 ft room is one foot off ; and can't be repaired. I wish I was your friend or neighbor ; I'd take your case for free just because I'm a bored old attorney who has sympathy for your post.

I hope you can get this straightened out , and I'm really sorry about the MS because I have seen how dreadful that can be. You don't need any more problems !

October/23/18 had asked for repairman for my side by side refrigerator for the second time. Was scheduled 12/22/18 between 8-12. This was the second time. At least the man did show up in my driveway, but I kept waiting for him to come to the door. He left. Later said he knocked but I didn't answer. I was standing in the front window, but he didn't call to see maybe I didn't hear the knock, just left. We were on the phone trying to get him back , but all I got was voicemail and no response. Called Lowes and was told I had to reschedule for next week. Same thing as before, he didn't show and wasn't sure when he could come. Was told I could get someone else to fix it which I did and paid the$75.00 and was told they would reimburse me. Made 3 phone calls asking for paperwork to file, had to be to an email address, will not mail. 3 different times never received the email to my box, asked Customer Service to mail it to me as I had confirmed my email address 3 times and never received. They refused to mail and cant get me the paperwork, so I had to lose $75.00 on a fixed income. I will never buy another extended warranty from Lowes. Sad

Kitchen remodel

Our “big buck” project began on January 4th. , 2018. Gutted kitchen. A month later the floor ( with radiant heat) was installed terribly. Cabinets installed before floor was grouted. Backsplash installed by same people who did floor ! A month later, Lowe’s sent someone to remove backsplash and install new Sheetrock. Different tile people redid the backsplash professionally. Complained to Lowe’s about uneven , shoddy floor . They sent a rep to inspect, said nothing could be done because of the radiant heat ! Lowe’s didn’t move on this at all until I filed a complaint with the BBB. Now they want to make things “right” ! Their idea of right is a refund of $500. It’s now October, 2018 and we’re still going back and forth. I think an attorney in the near future is called for.

Although it wasn’t what we had asked for, it was satisfactory. We learned a lesson the hard way, unfortunately.

Fake chance to win $300 guift card

Purchased ( on CC Card) lumber today, at checkout associate reminded me to enter to win $300. Went on www.lowes.com/survey. Took survey, answered a lot of questions about products (sure hope I don't get more spam by giving e-mail add.) Towards end given list to purchase something, multi. pages to purchase something, when I didn't lost chance to enter for Gift card. Home Depot is also close and I have card for them also.

Don't do it

Had a tile floor installed before Christmas by Lowe's. Long story short the tiler failed to install the transition from our kitchen to our family room so we had a big gap between the carpet and tile. He said the store didn't supply the transition piece so he couldn't install it. How do you not mention that you are missing supplies before you start a project??? How do you supposedly complete a project when it's actually not completed? Unfortunately you cannot install a transition piece after the fact when it involves tile because the transition piece must be installed before the tile is laid. So here it is weeks later and Lowe's has not come up with a solution nor has the contractor after several phone calls to both Lowes and the contractor.

The transition piece can be put in after the tile is put in. In fact, it is ALWAYS done last. You cant even grout the tile properly if transition piece is already in place.

Ordered a refrigerator online from Lowes and delivery services emailed me a delivery date of 12/20/18. After that delivery date passed w/o a frig., they now say the delivery won't happen until 1/30/19. Can you imagine waiting 2 months for a new frig. OMG. I won't be ordering online from Lowes ever again.

It doesn't matter what retailer you buy from, if it isn't stocked in the store and they are depending on delivery from a manufacturers warehouse you may encounter delays. My guess is that you ordered either a Samsung or LG appliance.

If their warehouses are out of stock the have to wait for replenishment from the factory in Korea. Ships don't move very fast.

Bad roofing job, damage to my house

We have siding on our house, when they roofed our house they took down strips of siding on the overhang. Did not put anything back now we have exposed wood and rain is getting in under the sideing and in the attic im sure. Very dissapointed in the whole experience! Want to charge us 825.00 to have a sideing installer come out and fix it. How can you take parts off someones house and just leave it off!

You don't have an account with Lowes. You have an account with an independent credit company that issues a card for use at Lowes.

Look at your bill for information on where to send your payment. If you have lost your bill, call the customer service number on your.

credit card. They will be able to assist you in sending them a payment.

Do not choose Lowe's for your fence

We moved into our home which already had a partial vinyl privacy fence installed, therefore we only had to install additional 74 feet of fence to make it fully enclosed. First, the crew consisted of 2 men whoe acted like this was their first day of doing any type of labor. The one guy wore basketball shots and sneakers. Also, we could not communicate with each other since they spoke no English. They then used a small shovel that looked like a kids toy to dig out the holes for the fence post. It took them almost 11 hours to finish, it was dark when they finished so I couldn't fully see the finished product until the next day. The next day I noticed how poor of a job they did: 1. The fence and the gate was crooked. 2. They ovepoured cement at one of the posts. 3. There were at least 2 posts in which they did not pour at the back of the posts so it was flimsy, and could make the fence fall over. 4. They poorly cut the fence panel that was inserted between the new and old fence. When I called the contractor, he came out, looked and basically thought nothing was wrong. The two men who did the fence did come out and tried to fix what they needed to. But in the end the entire fence needs to be redone. It was poorly done. I definitely would not recommend doing any type of fencing with Lowe's, do not waste your money, because in the end you are going to end up redoing everything!

We bought a $2,500 + shed from Lowes and had them deliver and install. 1st, i understand there is a LONG wait for installation due to its summer, so popular time to get one. But we had to wait about 6 weeks to have it installed. Then a contractor hired from Lowes to install. He put it up wayyy too high, it was not really leveled that well, and there are SOOO many gaps and places that the wood isn't even nailed to the rest of the floor/sides/roof. We will NEVER buy a shed from Lowes again!! Way too overpriced for the cheap materials used and terrible installation!

Sheds aren't made to be completely weather proof. If you want that then you can grab some spray foam and seal up the cracks yourself.

The sales guy told me I would be covered 24/7. I bought the plan on his word and could not read the agreement in the store. My refrigerator broke. Was on phone for almost 1 hour with bad English. They told me they would expedite and call back that day. No one called. I had a tech fix the next day that I payed for. I called to place a complaint and nobody contacted me back. Called again and Lowes said someone tried to contact me over 1 week later. Why so long? They had pre-written responses to my questions. They would not reimburse me for the repair parts or labor. Wasted about 3 hours total on the phone. What did I pay for? Very dishonest.

My bet is that if you were to take some time and read the service plan you purchased you would find out exactly what you paid for. They may have someone that answers the phone 24/7 but that doesn't mean you will get immediate service. You aren't going to be put at the front of the line for service calls, you will be scheduled when the next technician is available.

I ordered kitchen cabinets and granite counters on May 30th. I picked out the granite around the 2nd week in June. They came to make the template the week after. Lowe's called me the next day to say the price would be over $700 more than I paid. I asked why and he said the template came out different than what we ordered. The Lowe’s associate did all of the design and measurements so there was no reason for it to be off, I purchased the entire kitchen plus cabinets at the same time. I got everything through Lowe's and I had nothing to do with measuring or set up. I even brought my contractor in to talk to the designer. I told them it wasn't my fault they made a mistake, it went on what you designed and if she measured wrong that didn't have anything to do with me. I ordered them because they were affordable and now he was saying they were going to cost 33% MORE than I was told!! That's a HUGE mistake and difference in price. So he said he would talk to a manager and get back to me. I heard nothing for a week so I call back. They decide to have a new template done. Fine but I'm not paying. Then I heard nothing else for a week. I call again last Friday and the manager was familiar with the problem and said she would call the fabricators and have us rushed because I have no kitchen and I've been doing dishes in my BATHTUB. The fabricators call today and said she can't get us in til the end of NEXT WEEK!! this has been the most horrible experience I've had during my renovation. I have two kids home, we eat out almost every night because we can't wash dishes and have no running water except in the bathroom and it's going to be a MONTH living like this. It's costing me a fortune not to mention the stress two months after I paid all I keep hearing is next week, next week. I have called & texted SO MANY TIMES. This is INSANE!!!!!! Someone DO SOMETHING
