I was refused the right to purchase alcohol because a minor was present. I was not, nor have I ever, purchased alcohol for a minor. I was purchasing for my own personal consumption within the bounds of my private home. Based on an assumption I was discriminated against in the name of "store policy" which might I add is not on their websites list of store policies. I have been a regular customer due to the location but I no longer intend to shop here. I've never had a problem until this incident and the employee was extremely rude. I refuse to be patronized by a disrespectful employee when I'm a legal paying customer.

I'm getting tired of having to fix items purchased at Lowe's. Yes, they will take anything back, but when you carry a vanity upstairs and find out the drawers don't close correctly, it isn't a easy thing to carry it back downstairs when you are 72 years old. Prices are okay, but just because the vanity wasn't the most expensive, it should have been in better shape. The screws supplied were too short for the knobs. I fixed that but am considering trying Home Depot to see if they have better quality products.

It doesn't matter what home center you shop at if you purchase their lower priced products you will typically find the quality and workmanship isn't anywhere near what you would get with a higher priced product. If you pay a little more for a product you will have fewer problems and be more satisfied with your purchase.

Lowes in Farmington, Michigan - Junk lemon

We have one and less than 2 years all mechanical parts had to be replaced. They are now replaced and if is worse than before. Constantly goes out of balance makes a grinding noise when attempting spin cycle. first service call after seeing oil on floor over $500 in repairs complained to whirlpool they sold me a 1 year extended. We had it "fixed????" and started making grinding noise and out of balance which didn't happen before "repair???". Couple more service calls and all parts plus suspension replaced. Now it won't even go into spin cycle just makes grinding noise. So far we have had all mechanical parts replaced twice and still not right. Repair guy coming next week to replace gear box. When this doesn't work I am going to try to get pro rated refund to get another machine will have to wait on that.

It sounds like you have a complaint about some type of whirlpool product that you had problems with after the warranty expired. Why aren't you complaining about it on Whirlpool's site?

Lowes - Pella Windows Review from Oak Ridge, Tennessee

I ordered some double hung replacement Pella windows from Lowes on Clinton Highway in Knoxville, Tn on Oct 20, 2015. They were installed right before Thanksgiving. One of the sashes on the window had a crack in the glass. I brought this to the attention of their mill rep, Les. He told me he would order a replacement sash and put it in. He told me to give it a couple of weeks with the holidays. I called right after New Years and Les never returned my call. I talked to 2 different asst. managers who promised to look into it. They both called back and said the window was on order and i could expect it in a week or so. It is now almost February and still no window. In the meantime, i have been paying on these windows on my Lowes card. No interest, mind you, but I AM PAYING FOR SOMETHING THAT IS BROKEN!!!! Yesterday i called and talked to yet another asst manager and everyone who knew anything was in a meeting. Today, a girl from Lowes called and told my husband that it was being ordered and to give it a week or so and then the installer would put it in. They would call us to set up an appointment but the installer is real busy......REALLY???? The windows are double hung an an *** could put a sash in! Tonight i called and talked to yet another asst manager, Lowes must have more managers than Carter has little pills!! He said he would look into it. I told him that I wanted the number to corporate because i was tired of being told it was ordered. By now, i must have at least 4 sashes coming and they must be swimming from China!! I never have signed off that the job was completed but I bet the salesman has been paid!! Tomorrow i am calling corporate even though the asst manager told me it would do me no good because they would refer it back to the store level. DOES ANYONE AT LOWES KNOW WHO IS ON FIRST?????

Lowe's salesman are not on commission and have not been for quite some time now so you should learn to Google things before just spewing misinformation.

They may not be...I found out from him he got $125 for coming to my house..but the installers should not be paid until the kob is sigbef bu the consumer as completed. I cannot believe that an installer has waited almost 3 months eithour being paid.

North Spokane Lowes, every time I go there is not enough personnel to help customers. I have waited in various areas for help and there is no one in sight. Other times there is one person with a line in one department waiting to be helped. A trip there should not be time consuming; waiting for someone to help you. Furthermore, picking up supplies takes over half an hour for them to get and there is no one available to help you load. Home depot is the complete opposite in customer assistance.

Lowes - Lg Electric Double Wall Oven Review from Brick Township, New Jersey

On December 27, 2015, I ordered an LG double wall oven from the Lowes.*** website. I received an email on January 14, 2016 saying it would be delivered on Sunday, January 17th. On Saturday evening, I received an automated call saying it would be delivered between 10:30 & 12:30. At 7:30 on morning of the delivery, I received another automated call with a new delivery time of 9:30-11:30. A little before 8AM, I got a call from my local Lowes saying it wasn't going to be delivered because it never arrived at their store. They said they would find out when it would be coming in & I received an email saying it was changed to January 23rd. On Friday, January 22nd, they called & said that due to the blizzard expected, they would not be delivering. I figured, okay, at least it's there & will be delivered on our new rescheduled date of Tuesday, January 26th. Again, I received my automated call with a delivery time between 11 & 1. Tuesday morning, I got a call from someone from my Lowes store about the delivery. I told him my street was plowed & the truck would fit & my driveway way clear. They hung up & I waited. 11:00, 12:00, 1:00. Figuring deliveries would be tougher & might take a little longer, I waited until 1:45 & called the store only to find out the oven hasn't come in to their store. I was floored!! Pissed off & floored!!! I called the corporate office but of course you can only get their customer service dept. I filed a complaint with them & he said he submitted it & I will hear from the store manager within 24 hours. Well about 22 hours have passed & I haven't heard from him. I did speak with the receiving dept at my local Lowes & she said it looks like they should get it by the 28th & if all goes well, I should have it by the 29th. Then I get an email from them with a delivery date of January 30th. They keep blaming it on the fact that I ordered it online & also on the vendor. I just blame them. I will NEVER ORDER FROM LOWES AGAIN. This was the only thing I ordered from then. With redoing our kitchen, I ordered my cooktop & sink online from Home Depot the same day we ordered the ove & everything from Home Depot came in when it was scheduled. And my microwave was ordered in Home Depot & it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow & they already called & gave my delivery window time. Please don't order from Lowes unless you're not in a rush to get your things!!

First no call the day before I called at 730 am on 1/25 2016 spoke to Lowes operator said that they called and my # was disconnected which was not true I was calling on the supposed disconnected # He forwarded me to delivery who said that the driver that was supposed to deliver my stove was out sick and wanted to reschedule me for another day I informed him that that was not an option I needed the stove delivered today he told me that it would be delivered the afternoon.. The truck arrives and has a washer that was not supposed to be delivered until the following week. because it was not supposed to be in stock until then. at this point I called the delivery mgr who said my stove was scheduled rescheduled for the next day. I said no I need it today she said that's the best she could do because the delivery employees were already working to many hours today. at this point I called to speak to store manager who apologized and checked the delivery order and said he was not sure how they screwed it up and probably could not do anything today but would try. Now I have to take a second day off work at $45.00 per hour = $720.00 which is pretty close to the cost of the stove. I have never had such poor service from any company and I am going to make sure my 300 employees become aware of the shabby treatment and will ask them to boycott any Lowes purchases for the company and if they can their personal purchases too!

second delivery date 0n 1/25/2016 for delivery at about 8am on 1/26/2016

I was told by delivery manager and confirmed by store manager that the truck would leave at 730 am and I was to be first delivery which should be about 8 am

at 830 on 1/26 i called to confirm that i was on the list and was told by the person that answered for delivery that they would not know until 930 because the paperwork for that days deliveries was not yet received.

The stove finaly arrived at 10am

again they do not have a clue of what they are promising or tell you whatever to get you off their back at the time you call

worst service ever.

Lowes in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Carpet Bought and Installed by Lowe's

I had the original builder's carpet (23 years old) replaced in my house. Living room dining room, stairs, hallway and 3 bedrooms. This house is occupied by myself and my husband (in our 50s). The only thing wrong with the old carpet is it was worn in some spots. Lowe's has contractors install their carpet. The carpet I bought has a 25 year warranty. In two years it looked like *** (way worse than the original builder's carpet). It started to buckle all over the house (even in the hallway where there is no furniture). Horrible. I would never, ever, ever, buy carpet at lowe's. The quality of the carpet and especially the installation was terrible. A waste of a lot of money. No excuse for this!!!!! And, someone needs to tell me why carpet with a 25 year warranty only comes with a one year installation warranty - oh, yeah, that's right - the installers do a *** job and Lowe's knows it. I will never step foot inside a lowe's for any reason and neither will any of my siblings, in-laws, cousins and everyone we tell about it on facebook.

Seems they have lost their customer service when it comes to cashiers. I did not get a discount when I checked myself out. Nor do I remember getting hired as a cashier. Lots of employees in the store but no cashiers?

Lowes poor project management service

My wife and I moved to Kennewick in July 2015 and bought a newly constructed house. We needed some additional projects and went to Lowes to get some help with them. EVERY project the undertook were LATE (was not completed on promised date), or no communication was made to the contractor (project delayed for over 3 months), or material orders were incorrect, incompletem or poor quality. Some contractors failed to even get the information they were assigned to the project. I will never ask Lowes to manage a home improvement project again! If you choose Lowes as a project manager.....good luck! Be sure to check up on them regularly....
