Lowes cheat subcontractors

lowes uses the excuse customer complained and doesn't want you back on the job to fix issue, then the say the had to have another contractor to fix it at the entire labor cost, the always seem to larger pay jobs, lowes are crooks, this is a common practice, wage and labor need to step in and fix this issue. or contact your attorney general in the state u work. we've been cheat out of jobs, and other contractor have quit lowes for the same reason.

Lowes in Yucca Valley, California - Customer Service really came through

I had a technician come bye last Wed to service my Samsung dryer that wasn't drying, it needed a thermostat, when he left the house he said the dryer was fixed, however he forgot to put the thermostat in and replaced another small part. I called the next morning hoping he would come back quickly. After several calls everyone said it would be another ten days for another repair. That was unacceptable, I knew the supervisors were only patronizing me......I googled corporate and although it was a Fri afternoon out of state I received a quick response that evening. The next morning the manager from Palm Desert Lowes called me and offered a dryer on loan the next day, although it was Sun at this point it was still better than waiting the six more days.....I received a call that afternoon from the gal who sold me the dryer to make sure I was taken care of and that evening I received a call about 8 pm from the executive associate from North Carolina and that evening another call recorder to give me a time of delivery. This associate also offered to call me the day of service on the 15th to make sure my dryer was fixed. MY ADVICE...............GO TO THE TOP...........I think about six calls later I certainly had VIP treatment..............THANK YOU LOWES FOR YOUR SERVICE

Reno, NV Lowes - Incorrect windows
I am 100 percent dissatisfied with the results of the project and the Reno, NV Lowes is refusing to correct the job. I reside in a community governed by a homeowner’s association (HOA) and the new windows were to match pre-existing windows throughout our community. However, the windows that Lowes installed do not match the pre-existing windows and as such Lowes has created a liability for me (see photo). I am seeking replacement of the windows such that they match pre-existing windows throughout our community but Lowes is stonewalling me, arguing that they installed the windows that I ordered. Lowes customer satisfaction policy states: “Customer satisfaction is our goal. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the merchandise to any Lowe's store in the U.S. within 90* days. We, in our discretion, will repair it, replace it, or, based on your method of payment with a valid receipt, refund your money.” (http://www.lowes.com/cd_Returns+and+Refunds+Policy_33243642_) Additionally, the “Installation Proposal – Windows”, attached under item #4 states Lowes will: “Ensure your complete satisfaction with all aspects of the job.” This is my first and last time working with Lowes in any way, shape or form. This is a huge mess that is going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix ($6,000 job - 8 windows).

Do not use Lowes for fencing

Overpriced, no commitment to customer's scheduling, drug job out over nearly two months, snotty attitude from contractor. Left all the materials in front, killing grass, no way to protect them from theft for all that time. Put pea gravel on list of materials and enter $36 for pea gravel and never delivered, then they said they never charged us for the pea gravel. When contractor or subcontractor were supposed to show, but didn't would never call to say they weren't coming that day. Awful.

Love store but i just had the most sarcastic,unprofessional guy help me.He gave me with laughter a lesson on sex 101 than putting 2 pipes together for my new faucet.both him and another guy in tile,carpet dept know their stuff but lack in customer care.

I went to Lowes of Egg Harbor Township NJ this morning to pay the balance for my carpet install. I was excited about getting my room done until I arrived at Lowes. After patiently waiting, the salesman finally got to me and began to process the order. Another customer came to the desk and didn't say excuse me or anything just started asking questions about carpet to the sales person. He stopped waiting on me to answer her question which I didn't mind, she then asked another question and he stopped waiting on me a second time and then left the desk to help her and told me he would be right back. I waited for ten minutes and he had not returned. I looked for him and said to him you need to finish waiting on me, I am 76 years old and on medication that I have to be home to take. He said I will be right back again. I was so mad after waiting for him to wait on me and he just ignored me place in line and my two requests to finish waiting on me. I got so disgusted and I left and went to customer service and asked for a manager and told them what happen and that I wanted my money back and to cancel the order. I felt it was necessary to file this complaint so that you could rectify this problem with this sales person so it never happens again. Plus to let you know an order was lost due to the sales persons bad customer service. In closing, I really wanted this carpet and feel that I should be able to get proper service when I am paying in cash, in full. So upset and disappointed. I have been purchasing all of my home needs from Lowes for years, in fact I never go to Home Depot for anything, but today I guess I am forced to do so. Please advise???

Lowes - Front Door Review from Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania

Ordered a front entry door from Stroudsburg PA location. Spent hours in the store on what kind of door, dimensions, etc. When the door came in about a month later, it wasn't even the door we ordered, not even close. My wife and I both took multiple days off to be there for the install. Had to go back to the store and someone else assisted us. To make a long story short. It took more than three attempts to get the door specs right and 4 months for it to finally get installed. All I want to say is the Stroudsburg PA store SUCKS!!! No Clue on how customer service works. ***, lazy, non-confrontation al managers. Home Depot is a dream compared this place. Never, will we do any future business at the STROUDSBURG PA LOWE'S. You should all be fired. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

Pergo moneta mahoghany installed a year ago. Within several months bubbling delamination and board separation occurred. Lowes took months of nagging to get three inspectors to admit what they knew all along. It wasnt the old moisture game, it was defective product. Then Lowe's insisted on trading for another inferior Pergo product. To match the original product with a like product was too expensive for this highly profitable company. Lesson learned...deal with the locals. Dont let Lowe's, their installers or Pergo in your house. You are welcome!

I bought laminate flooring# 170656 from Lowes ,while we were putting the boards down we had 4 boards that the laminate was messed up. we finished the floor and took the bad boards back ,i was told they could not refund them because they don't sell them individually , I felt I should not have to pay for defective boards,after I argued that, they gave me $2.12 back and called it even. This is the 4th bad customer service experience i have had at this store #2365,I have had it with giving them chances.

Lowes in Tulsa, Oklahoma - $1,415 installation for $419 Purchase!

I needed a new hot water heater, and had tentatively picked out a 40 gal gas unit with a cost of $419. I paid $50 to have Lowe's contracted plumber come out and determine exactly what would need to be done. The plumber said various things need to be done to bring everything up code, but they would provide Lowe's with the information, and Lowe's would provide me with the final quote. The total cost of water heater and installation was going to be $1,835! When I said I wanted to see in writing exactly what I was paying for, they said they couldn't do that! They expected me to pay $1,415 for installation and misc. parts, without any supporting detail. Needless to say, I didn't do it, but obviously there are fools out there that would. No more business from me. I expect to see what I'm paying for!!

$1800.00 for a water heater installation? That's insane!

They could re-plumb the whole water heater system and more for that!

Good call. Stay away from them.
