Lowes review in Macon, Georgia: Failure to receive 10% Discount.

Purchased a Ref 26-CU FT SXS REF FFHS2 on Feb 4, 2016. The ref cost $798.00, Did not receive the 10% discount since it was an appliance that qualified for the discount. In my opinion I should have been awarded the 10% and an additional 10% Military Discount. #153878. A nearby city awarded the 10% as well as the 10% Military Discount. I am requesting that an additional 10% be given, thus awarding a credit to me. Thanks for your consideration in this matter. I do await your reply. store # 1016. Transaction # 9698. Helloo A very upset customer. Treated very badly as a customer who just spent close to 3000.00 on appliances and went back to the store today after delivery Of appliances which were delivered today. As recommendation of delivery employees regarding gas dryer. Two different suggestions.. Today i have no working gas dryer. Thanks lowes. I will not at this time refer your company to anyone... I was disappointed with the way customer service is. If i would have known how lowes treats there customers i would have took my buisness elsewhere. Really was shook up today caught me by surprise i put lowes on a pedistal better than other hardware stores i was wrong. Feel so insecure on my purchase. Ready to pull out of my purchase and go elsewhere. Treated and talked to very badly...im so upset at this time. And employees notice me in the store and also indicated that the individual helping me was at wrong and suggested to,me to contact an upper official regarding the this issue. I will take it up with a higher individual regarding this issue.. sorry im a woman. And not a ding bat. And not a uneducated individual. To conclude my story i believe that this so called supervisor who attended me, Obviously has no education nor experience with customers...and should not be working with customers. If lowes wants to continue to strive to be courteous and helpful to customers so we will always return to purchase merchandise and feel secure about there purchase...

Lowes - Installation Review from Havelock, North Carolina

The latest, bought carpet for bedroom. Paid to have old carpet and padding removed. Waited 3 weeks and at 3:00pm the installer cancelled. Called installer office and was told they were booked up for the next day. Made no attempt to do my job that has been paid for for 3 weeks. The earliest they can do the job is the end of next week. I will be as uprised if they show up. Also they put that th e installer was removing the furniture. I did not want to pay for this but none the less they charged me for it anyway. Two years ago I bought a refrigerator from Lowes. I got delivered damaged, the side was dented in. It took another ten days to get the replacement. I highly reccomend to not make big purchases from this company. The lumber is expensive and poor quality. As most of this companies products are over priced.

Lowes review in Indialantic, Florida: Veteran's Discount

If Lowe's is going to offer a Military discount that's great. Why not offer it to all Veterans? I was in the military for 4 years, now I'm out, Therefore I am retired Veteran. I've shopped at Lowe's and Home Depot for years. I use my expired Military ID for the 10% discount and never had an issue until today. The *** cashier wanted to split hairs and tell me my ID was expired. Once again I am a veteran, but I don't take any VA benefits so I do not have a VA card. I get the active duty part, but Wouldn't it be easier to give the discount to all Veterans, not just Veterans with a current VA card?

I used to work there and there was an issue with a cashier not honoring military discounts and our store manager was pissed!! It was told to all employees that we are to honor ALL types of military identification.

If you ever have that issue again ask for a manager. Although this shouldn't be an issue anymore.

Lowes Install Sales - SAY NO

Kitchen Remodel was a total disaster. The Install took over 3 months to complete because project coordinator was so rude and did not care if installation was done or not. I called management and spoke to everyone it seems at Lowes and they all have the same attitude of not caring if customers are satisfied or not. I was lied to and even hung up on by rude Lowes management and install staff. This was the worse experience I have ever had, will never use Lowe's services again.

Lowe's has contacted me on this and I cannot say enough about the excellent service I received. They reviewed the facts of my complaint and honored their price match just has they promised.

Also, they contacted me often to be certain the item was delivered in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.

Thankfully, they do listen. Hopefully, training will be considered for those that did not.

So much for Lowe's "Price Match"...it isn't guaranteed at all. Per there own website they state: "We guarantee our everyday competitive prices. If you find a lower everyday price on an identical item at a local retail competitor, just bring us the competitor's current ad, and we'll beat their price by 10%. If a competitor is offering a percent off discount, we’ll match the final net price the competitor is offering. Our price guarantee does not apply to installation labor, to the competitor's closeout, special order, discontinued, clearance, liquidation or to damaged items. Limited to reasonable quantities." No where in this does it say they have the right to say that they can turn it down if they are going to lose money on it. So don't even try......and if you aren't happy, their Supervisor in Customer Support will ever so politely tell you there is no one above him to help you. End of story. Well...sadly, Lowe's not only lost a valuable customer and Lowe's Card holder...they lost our trust.

Lowes review: Rude Employees

The products that I have purchased from Lowe's are fine. However, the employees need a curse on "How to win friends and influence people." Lowe's employees are rude and unprofessional, they grunt replies when asked a question, or don't reply at all. Any product that Lowe's carries, I suggest that you try to purchase it from a company that will appreciate your business, Lowe's does not appreciate your business. Any local Lowe's store I have had dealings with and this includes their corporate office has been dismal. I guess it will take Home Depot or another like store moving into the area before they appreciate their customers and provide them the service they deserve.

Time after time - Lowes has Exceeded my expectations. Friendly and knowledgeable employees, caring Staff, clean surroundings. While they may not have everything for every home (tough to carry parts for 40 year old trailer sinks, windows and doors, 30 year old home bathtubs and sinks, etc.). Sale and Clearance items can be found throughout the store and during all seasons. They are active in many charitable community events from Habitat for Humanity, to Pinewood Derby cars for kids, to yearly campaigns for Cancer, and more. Thanks Lowes for being part of our community!

Went to lowes, got samples of laminate, brought them home and 'tested' them. We soaked, dipped, dripped water on them and scratched them with a fork to see how they would hold up to our busy household. This flooring did great in our tests and I loved the tavern oak...
