Seems they have lost their customer service when it comes to cashiers. I did not get a discount when I checked myself out. Nor do I remember getting hired as a cashier. Lots of employees in the store but no cashiers?

Lowes poor project management service

My wife and I moved to Kennewick in July 2015 and bought a newly constructed house. We needed some additional projects and went to Lowes to get some help with them. EVERY project the undertook were LATE (was not completed on promised date), or no communication was made to the contractor (project delayed for over 3 months), or material orders were incorrect, incompletem or poor quality. Some contractors failed to even get the information they were assigned to the project. I will never ask Lowes to manage a home improvement project again! If you choose Lowes as a project manager.....good luck! Be sure to check up on them regularly....

Lowes in Escondido, California - Recognizing veteran statis

I have purchased items totaling thousands of dollars without any discounts, since I was a military veteran from Vietnam era without an ID. Most states have given us veterans the ability to go the their local DMV with necessary documents to have VETERAN PLACED ON THE DRIVER LICENSE and use it to show merchants for offered and used for everyday discounts and have been turned away and refused to be recognized as a veteran. I have called Corp. and they will not change. So..I will purchase elsewhere and tell other veterans this story. They can go to *** and I hope they feel that place since I have been there myself.

Yes, Lowes has Military discounts. Have you research it and find out when it's valid?

Canvas Drop cloth. I love Lowes. I have been buying from them cor 25 yrs at least. Recently they stopped carring Blue Hawk can as drop cloth and started carring a super cheap made brand. The cloth is thin with an open weave. Full of lint and pulls everywhere in the fabric. And it smells. i bleach and soak my dropcloth because i use it for making household items like dog beds,pillows, curtains. After. BLeaching and washing it has a petroleum horrible smell. I have thrown it away. It was useless. Most everyone i know buys the drop cloth for the same purpose i do. Now everyone hates it. The quality is horrrrrrible. But it cost the same ????

on january 7, 2016 lowes all of a sudden decided to stop accepting egift cards purchased at reputable gift card repurchase sites like raise, cardpool, gift card rescue etc etc leaving thousands of customers with 100's of dollars worth of gift cards that cannot be used and are worthless. Come on lowes, you couldn't let your most dedicated customers at least finish off the gift cards that were already purchased. Pathetic for a multi billion dollar company, back to home depot for me forever.

I got hit with this along with many other victims of Lowes. Lowes still shows a correct amount balance on my "paper" merchandise card but won't let me spend it or convert to a "real" card.

They claim the third party that sold me the (at the time legitimate) paper card is a fault. Lowes claims they did this because of "fraud". I call total BS. Their system would not show this as a legitimate balance if it was "fake".

Maybe they issued merchandise credit for items that were stolen and returned, whatever - NOT MY FAULT.

To me this is clearly fraud - by LOWES! I'm going to the orange store from now on.

They stopped taking them due to a extremely high level of fraud. So many of those ecards are fake.

We have been in to this store 3x to try to get a special order window. We had been told by Richard, that they don't make them that way. Never even bothering to look it up to be sure. We came back the 4th time and asked for the manager, Mike. He was dumber then Richard. After leaving the store, we called Pella windows directly and they said of course we can make what you want. It pretty much seems that lowes doesn't really want to help the customer. They have lost all of our business from now on.

If you want to waste $1200, on 3 lawn mowers, in 7 years, Lowes Mesquite, Texas, is the place for you! They have a assistant manager there, Luke or Lucas, of which likes to talk over you, berate your intelligence, and then hang up while you are trying to get a word in edgewise! Thats a great example for underlings to learn to be just as nasty and uncaring, about their customer base. I have spent well over $40,000 with Lowe's during the remodel of my home, and after 3 mows of a small yard this year, they want me to spend another 130 on rebuilding the carburetor on a 9 month old lawnmower, with less than an hours use on it? I have done some dumb stuff in my life, but they can keep it as a trophy of bad customer service, and *** for products! Th8s was a replacement for the last one with the same problem within months as well. I instructed them to mark my profile: CUSTOMER WILL NEVER RETURN! I despise home depot, but looks like that's where my money will be going from now on.

Why are you complaining about Lowes rather than the manufacturer of the mower? Lowes didn't make the mower and is not responsible for the warranty on the mower, the manufacturer is.

If you have only used it 3 times in 9 months for less than an hour total it is very possible that the problem is due to your letting gas sit in it for that long. If you use gas with ethanol in it it will attract water which can damage your fuel system including the carb.

Owner neglect is not covered by the warranty and you would have to pay for repairs. If you took as much time to read your manuals as you spend complaining on the internet you wouldn't have the problems you are complaining about.

I placed an order online and received all the items via UPS except for one item which it said had to be picked up in the store. After waiting a few days I checked the order online and it said that it was "Ready for Pickup". I went to the store and they did not have the item and indicated it was special order and they would contact me when it arrived at the store. I told them the website said it was ready for pickup and they couldn't have cared less. They said special order items trigger that on the website when the order is placed with the vendor and I should have known they would call me when it was in. I have attached a screenshot of "Ready for Pickup" - is there something I a missing???? I even called Lowes customer service and they said the same thing????? How am I supposed to know that the store will call me and to ignore the instructions given on the online order?????????????????????????????????? There is no customer service - no one tried at all to make sure I didn't have to return to the store and get it shipped directly to me as that is what I originally wanted and then had to go to the store to pick up something that was not there. The feeling that they didn't care was just so strong. Incidentally, I have purchased 22k in kitchen cabinets and 8k in appliances from that store over the last 2.5 months and they couldn't have cared less. I told the manager I wouldn't shop there anymore and told the customer service rep on the phone that as well and they just said "ok". There are so many complaints about Lowes on the internet and I completely understand why - there is a real service ethic that is non existent.

Lowes in Milledgeville, Georgia - Washer Warranty worthless

OMG, so they give me Jan 22 as the day they will NOW come and get my machine fixed...remember it has been since Thanksgiving(Nov 2015 that is has been broken) They call my home and cell phone to say they are coming. THEN I get a call in the evening that they are rescheduling AGAIN until Feb 10th!!

WTF!!! This is not acceptable.

My washer started to leak thanksgiving 2015, Called lowes they scheduled service with A & E. 3 weeks later, Service Man went to wrong, house, never called to verify. Weeks later, service man came and had to order parts, another 3 weeks later, another service man came and said NO didn't need those parts, ordered another part, today he was to come and install but NEvER SHOWED UP AND NO CALL FROM A &E. Now I have to wait another week for someone to maybe show up?!?! WHAT? 2 months without washer that is only 2 years old! REALLY!! A & E has the worst service and Lowes is no better as they have NO BACK UP service company for us to use. This is just ***!
