Lowes never responded. Their in store customer service sucks and they can't even respond via email.
*** poor service and management, besides being the highest price in the area. Lowes needs to change their name to BLOWES

Went to lowes in delavan wi to purchase a gas fire pit, online it says they have 6. Upon arrival AT 9:30 AM, no clerk anywhere around , found one she called another, she didn't know anything asks a male clerk he knows nothing, they looked from one end of store to the other asking other clerks, nobody knows anything. After an hour I said to one clerk home depot has the same thing, she says she would go to home depot. Then the assistant manager wonders by and she was no help either. So 15 minutes later I'm at home depot online it says Aisle 47, Bay 017 , and that is exactly where it is, same price as lowes. check out and done in less than 10 minutes. WAY TO GO HOME DEPOT!!!!! YOUR THE BEST WAY TO GO BLOWES YOU HAVE PROVED TO BE THE HIGHEST PRICED WITH THE POOREST SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DON'T BUY HUSQVARNA Riding Lawn Mowers from Lowes
I went to Lowes and explained my mowing needs and other work I needed to complete around my property. I spoke to several different sales associates during several differeent trips. It was suggested I get the Husqvarna TS354D Garden Tractor. I wanted to be able to use a scoop bucket, garden plow, cultivator, dethatcher, snow plow ect. on the new garden tractor. I was told I could order all of these different accessories for this GT at Lowes and they would arrive in a week 2 at most. So I ordered the GT on line and the order information said it would be in 2 weeks from that date. THE time came and went and no GT. Another 2 weeks went by and I received an email saying the GT had arrived and would be getting a call from Lowes to set up dellivery date. When I finally got the call I was informed the GT had not arrived and it could be another two weeks. I went into the store to find out what was going on with the order. Turned out the GT was actually there and then told they could not deliver it for another week... not acceptible considering the already frustraighting time frame. After speaking to several different managers they decided to give me a discount on the GT. Next I ordered the scoop bucket. That was supposed to come in 7 to 10 days. The order keep getting delayed to the tune of 6 weeks with no end in sight for actual arrival to store. I cancel the order. Figure I may find a different place to get a scoop bucket. Meanwhile I order an electric sleeve hitch from a different company. During the ordering process from that co. I found out that Husqvarna put a cheaper frame on this newer GT and that the frame may bend with ground engaging equipment and the use of the scoop bucket. I call lowes and ask about the return policy they said 30 days no exceptions. So I email customer solutions and they respond with it is a 30 day return policy even though their sales associates suggested this GT would be caple of meeting my needs and I could get the accessories there. Apparently Husqvarna has gone back and forth with using adequate and inadequate frames for its GT. Husqvarna does a really awful job of getting their accesories to their vendors, such as Lowes. On top of all this the cruise control stopped working at the 15 hour point. Basically no matter how you look at it Husqvarna and Lowes both have handeld this situation poorly. Due to this I strongly urge you to save yourself the headache and buy a GT that is not made with defective parts at a store who will value your business. I would also suggest you aviod purchasing anything from Lowes as they don't care about customers and doing what is right by them. Shame on both of these big companies for taking advantage of thier customers and not doing what is right by them.... especially since I needed to be able to stop the severe flooding on my property with the use of this GT and the accessories I was told I could get that would work well with this machine. Summer of 2018 waisted due to thier poor business practices and lots of personal property destroyed due to rain and flooding that could not be controlled without the GT I paid for and wanted to use for intended purpose.

Return of storage item
Lowe’s considered my storage item a Christmas item and would not let me return it. It wasn’t large enough and I have no use for it.

Siding installation
Ordered siding through Lowe’s installation in June of 2016. Also ordered gutters and a deck to be installed. Deck was finally installed beginning of September 2016 because the installer for that was tired of waiting for the siding to get done. Mind you, we’ve been calling every week or so starting in August to find out when we were going to get our siding that was supposed to be installed in July. Every time we called they would tell us the siding installer should be there on such-in-such date. Every time the installer didn’t show. No siding was ever even delivered to our home until December of 2016, and it wasn’t installed until January of 2017. 7 months of a siding install and they do it in the middle of winter. Needless to say, the job was horrendous. When spring came, it was obvious just how bad it was—crooked and not level siding, warped siding, siding falling off when it rained (not a huge storm, just rain), and damage to our chimney which led to water damage in one room of our home. We contacted Lowe’s immediately. This was spring on 2017. It wasn’t fixed until March of 2018. Almost 2 years after the initial order and we are still dealing with this! They offered us $1000 in compensation, that’s it, for a $20000 job it took them 2 years to complete to our “satisfaction “. The exact words from the supposed head of the complaint department, Sayquan, were “You said yourself you were satisfied with the work”. We see our lawyer next week.

My aunt order doors they came in but one of them was wrong so they order another one and yet again it was wrong again, theyorder the door again yet it wrong again the door they put in was supossed to have a window which matched the other door but guess what it does so dont order stuff from lowes almost 3 month and they still messed *** up

I see today Lowes is closing 51 stores maybe this is the reason. The store in St. George Ut had a table/mag rack on display , which the wife wanted after talking to the sales person thru his manager, none on stock and could not sell the display item. Closing stores. Once upon a time I was trying to send this message as a pissed consumer and it came back as under 100 words, so I will just babble until I get there and get more pissed. Maybe Home Depo I looking better for my money. Still short how is your day going am I talking to India. Still to short how is the weather in India I see you are 12 hours later than here in the states

I ordered, and paid for a door at the Pico Rivera California store. A young man named Jorge was very helpful and knowledgeable. I decided that i wanted bronze hinges and door *** instead of satin nickel. When i tried to call, the operator answered giggling and transferred my call to millworks. Someone hung up the phone. I tried again and each time a young girl answers and told me when Jorge would be in. When i went in, a young girl comes out and tells me he's off. I try again the next day and a young girl tells me he opens in the morning. I called and a young girl tells me he is not scheduled for today. Lowes, please get rid of the young girls, they don't know anything and must think its time to visit with one another. And if the phone rings in one department why dosen't an employee who happens to be walking by answer it instead of letting it ring forever. It appears that the young girls are sabotaging the men's jobs. The men have families to support. The young girls have parents and boyfriends to support them. I will need to talk to the manager about the young girls rudeness. They talk in an authoritative manner and dont know nothing.

Horrible Experience
I ordered all kitchen appliances, Lowe's only delivered dishwasher and a damaged refrigerator which I returned and for which they did not have a replacement. It has been three weeks and they have not refunded my money yet. I have spent at least 20 hours on the phone with Lowe's. You could not find any business that cares less and is so negligent. They always say someone will call in 24 hours, which they do not. They keep creating new case numbers, because they need to be answered in 24 hours so they bypass that. I am not sure what else I can do, they have not refunded my money, and refuse to show any sings of effort to correct the situation.

Terrible terrible terrible! Shop somewhere else.
I purchased a washer and dryer set plus protection plan at a Lowes location in West Virgina in Feb 2017. It is now October 2018 and my deter went put in September and it was a fight to use the protection plan on the dryer now my washer is out and im fighting with them to honor the protection plan. Somehow an item ive paid full price for is now showing returned to store. Its been a run arpund at every turn. The exact definition of poor business practices!

They have done nothing to resolve my complaint and did not even question why I was cancelling MyLowes account. I have not returnded to any Lowes since the problem and now use Menards, Home Depot or Handyman Hardware.

I placed a $2500 order for material in late April 2018, with delivery scheduled the first weekend of May. The delivery was confirmed in store, over the phone and by e-mail. I waited all day for the delivery on the scheduled day but heard nothing from the store about my delivery. I called 2 hours before the end of their delivery schedule to find out where my delivery was and they said all the deliveries for the day had gone out. They did not have answer as to why mine had not gone out. I called customer service and they said someone from the store would contact me the next day. No one from the store ever contacted me. They did try to deliver the order on Monday, when I was at work and not at my request. Since they tried to deliver the material, even though I had not approved a Monday delivery, they took the money out of my account anyway. I went to the store on Tuesday to find out why they had not delivered on Saturday, why no one had called me about not delivering the material, why they tried to deliver the material when I would not be at home and did not want it delivered then and why they had taken the money out of my account. After asking for the store manager, I was sent an assistant manager to take care of me. He had no answers for me and only offered to reschedule the delivery or give me my money back. I said I wanted my money back since they should not of taken it out of my account. I wanted to talk with the store manager about all the problems I had had and left him a letter with my concerns and questions. One of my new concerns was the fact that after they took the money out of my account without delivering the material, they were just going to wait for me to contact them. In other words they had my money and were fine with not delivering the material. After getting fed up with the local stores lack of concern and customer service I contacted their corporate offices through a direct e-mail to the president. This got me an executive customer service rep and I thought everything would be great from there. She got me set up with a meeting with the store manager, which after his apolgizing for the problems I had incurred, we got the delivery rescheduled with no fee and some discounts. Great I thought, although at this point it is 2 months later. On the delivery day this time I get a call, nevere got onbefore like I was suppose to, saying they didn't have part of the delivery and had to find another store to get it from. They had 2 weeks to get my delivery ready with everything there and still couldn't do it right. They delivered half the material that day but never contacted me about the rest of the delivery, which again I had already paid for. Eleven days later I finally contacted them, and they still had to find another store with the product. Again they had my money and were not concerened about if I got everything I ordered. If I had not called I believe they would have never delivered the rest of my material. And in the end I took the delivery for the rest of the material on a day I did not want, just because who knows what would of happened if I did not. NEVER going back to Lowes again.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! AT LOWE'S -DAVIE, FL - Store #3315.
Purchased a washer and dryer at LOWE'S OF DAVIE, FL - Store #3315. Scheduled delivery for Saturday. Spent the whole day wainting, they never showed up, didn’t even called. I called in middle of day and was told it would be delivered by end of day, which never happened. I called back on Monday and was told one of the machines had a dent and is why they didn’t delivered. Reschedule for Tuesday. I was told by Frank I would receive a called on the night before to confirm and another call one two hours before delivery, which AGAIN never happened. STILL WAITING!! This has been a big waist of time and a huge aggravation. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! A very dissatisfied customer,

Contracted for kitchen remodel. Lowes abandoned the contract and remodel when mistakes were discovered and repairs needed. Contacted Lowes President, Lowes Executive Customer Service, Local Building Inspector, BBB, and Ohio State Attorney General. VERBALLY, Lowes admitted mistakes. In writing, Lowes Central Production Dept is closing the case with no repairs to unsafe electrical. They have defaulted on contract by refusing to complete remodel, fix fire hazard, did not deliver one cabinet or install, etc.

Lowes sucks. Just pick any department and I can give you 100 ways lowes will screw it up. Go to Home Depot or pick a local guy to help you. You will be happy you did.

Damaged refrigerator and door
Lowe’s has delivered 3 damaged refrigerators to us and today a damaged front door which we refused. We have paid around $8000 for appliances and a front door and storm door recently. The LG French door refrigerator was delivered 3 or 4 times, ( I’ve lost times) and each was damaged. We finally accepted one which was slightly damaged in order to have a refrigerator. Months ago we special ordered a main front door and storm door. Today it was sent out damaged. We refused it. Corporate office first refused to replace it even though we paid cash for both doors and installation. Finally, he (whatever his name is) supposedly said he would reorder the door. It was essentially like pulling hen’s teeth to get to this point with him and remind you this is an expensive door that we have already paid for plus installation. He knew how to use the B.S. they are taught to use to appease the public but we weren’t buying into it. These corporations should know by now that the public is sick and tired of all their corporate lingo to the consumer. Here winter is coming on and we still have no doors and a brand new refrigerator with minor damage to the back plate. Every time we deal with Lowe’s it is another nightmare, yet, the other competitor is almost as bad. Where does this leave you in 2018? Gone is the day when man put pride in his work and products. It’s very disheartening to say the least. Be prepared when you shop for major articles in particular and stand your ground with these big companies. After all, it’s your hard earned money, not their’s.

right. Home Depot is better....
It's not surprising employees don't know what's in their store ad or where something actually is in the store given the size of these stores. However, in your situation, someone should have known what department the product should be in or at least how to find it's location.
Apparently not. Most of the employees are really there to help stock the shelves, not know much of anything about the products they sell---ever try to get some good advice about a product?
you are seriously underestimating the skill set of the Lowe's employees! They have to put signs up too you know!
