last week I was looking for help with floor tile for my bathroom I seen this young woman named trish . new hire from home depot . she was very helpful and was very kind took time to show m where things were in the store store is in Leominster mass. ps u did a good thing hireing her in the past I have neede help also and got it. to dy was no exception I think the young man name was Nathen no one was around to cut window shades for me he took the time and did a great job . no wonder I keep coming back to this store

Lowes in Orlando, Florida - Unhappy long time customer

On 12/9/15 went to lowe's on South Semoran blvd. Orlando, fl. Just needed a few things, went to the register to pay and asked for four bags of sacrete concrete mix. I asked the sales associate if I could pull in the loading zone to load, she said yes. I went and moved my truck into the loading load, loaded my concrete which I had to carry twenty feet, with three sales associates standing watching. no help was offered.( I,m 74 years old ). When I was leaving a lowe's pick up truck pulled in front of me , blowing his horn and telling me I shouldn't be parked up here. Trying to drive around him, I knocked over one of the little A frame signs that says loading zone. He continued to verbally abuse me over the sign being knocked over. I will never shop in a Lowe's store again as long as I live.

Horrible customer service! If your a woman just forget about anyone helping you. I stood in line and watch 3 cashiers chat and look at there phones, not one person even looked up and the line had at least 8 people in it. Also, don't bother trying to use the 10% off coupon that comes in the adds. By far the WORST LOWRS STORE IS IN POCATELLO IDAHO!!!!!

Went to Lowes 1930 keystone dr in Erie,PA on Friday December 2, 2015. I got a few items and went to check out. When time to pay I swiped my debit card and entered my pin for $63.84 and the touch pad machine went black. Usually it's and instant process. Well it wasn't this time and the nice associate said "sorry it didn't go through please swipe again. So I swiped my same debit card again and entered my pin again and it went through like normal. Soooooo I get home same day and check my account and Lowes has debit me TWICE for same amount as if I made 2 different purchases of the same thing at the same time!!!! I call Lowes on keystone drive to bring to attention 2 hours after leaving their store. They say call back tomorrow (Saturday) and talk to management. I call Saturday morning at 8:00 and talk to Management (Beth). She says I talked to corporate and they flaged it so it will be back in account.she also gave me a paper email from Lowes corporate (Bobby) that I still have that was faxed to my credit union stating the reversal was going through. Seven days Later Wednesday December 9th still nothing. I call my credit union and Lowes on keystone drive. Lowes is now saying they only see one payment taken and my credit union says no you took 2 payments here is the proof! Now my credit union is involved and contacting corporate!! LOWES YOU HAVE SCREWED UP MY automatic DEBITS FOR LIFE INSURANCE- CABLE- HOUSE TAXES!!!! my account is mess and instead of you refunding my cash money You stole the same day you give the run around and wait days to deny... My credit union will get you but in the meantime my bank account is JACKED!!

I won't bother to mention the product as it really has little to do with my experience. I purchased, on line an appliance, November 6 2015. The ad said it would be avail by 11/10, it would be delivered Free or I could pick it up. I called the 9th to see if all was ok and was informed it would be 11/20 before I would get the product, I called the 11/19 to be informed it would be 12/10, which went to 12/20 to 12/29 to 01/06/2016 to 01/15/2016. You may be wondering why I haven't told Lowes to shove it. I got a very good deal on this product and it was one I wanted. To try to find this product somewhere else at this time, would cost 200 plus more and would not substantially get me the product much sooner due to Christmas. I realize that stores don't have much control over manufactures. Which is why I am not writing this in a foreign language such as @#$%^%T*&(. You would think that Lowes would have some idea that the product was back ordered way back in November. Which then I could have made a decision to make a different purchase, apparently this is just a bit out of the intelligence level of the sales person. btw I did go into the store on a Saturday and talked to a Women, by the way she acted, I assumed she was a Supervisor, who told me she would make a check on the following Monday and phone me with the information, this is now Wednesday, she must have overslept, or just said that to get rid of me. I am not a hard individual to get along with, until you exceed my tolerance level which takes some doing, but when that level has been reached, you will know it is a hurry. Kelsey S

This is my fourth experience with a bait and switch scam at the Lowe's in Hattiesburg, MS. I have reported two of them to corporate, but they actually facilitate the practice at the local store. This fourth experience on 12/7/2015 involved a sink that was advertised on sale for 45% off. ("$109.45. Was $199.00. Save 45% thru 12/31/2015") I made my purchase online for pickup at my local store that same evening. (There were 3 in stock.) After paying for the item online and receiving email confirmation, I began disconnecting my old sink and preparing the site. While in the process of doing that, the store called and said they could not find any of the 3 in-stock sinks and they suggested I look at a different sink. (The only comparable sink was $120 more expensive.) When I refused to consider a more expensive sink, they said I would have to go to another store to buy a sink at that price. So, I contacted online support to get one sent from another store to pick up locally; but, they simply sent me a link to purchase the newer model sink for $229 ($120 more than the sink I purchased). Even though my local store has 3 in stock (let's face it, shoplifters don't walk out with 3 sinks tucked under their jacket ... the sinks are there, somewhere), they are insisting that I purchase a different sink that is more than double the price of their advertised sale. I also located the same sink at a similar sale price at 4 different Lowe's locations within a day's drive. Despite doing the leg work and finding other stores with the sink, online customer support refuses to simply do an in-store transfer to have one of those sinks sent to my local store in order to fulfill the order. In the meantime, Lowe's has placed a 10-day hold on my credit card for the amount of the original purchase. Despite being informed that they were selling an allegedly non-existent item, the Lowes.com website still lists the item for sale at that price in my local store with three of them still in stock.

Lowes - Valspar Paint Review from Houston, Texas

I painted my entire remodeled house with brand new sheetrock in 2010. The paint was runny and the painter was shocked. He recommended we return the paint so we took it back to Lowes. We were told it was a bad patch so they gave us a second patch of gallons of paint. With much trouble and after painting the house, we noticed it was not drying. As recommended by the Valspar representative at Lowes, we turned on the heat for two days to help the walls and ceiling dry. It did not work. He said to turn it in blast a few more days. It did not work. We were offered a refund for only the paint as long as we signed a paper stating we would not hold Lowes or Valspar liable at a later date for damages. Well it's December 2015 and the paint still sticks to everything. Everytime a picture is moved to clean the mantel there are new lines added to the mantel. During a visit, my mom asked me to place a new battery in wall clock. I told her I couldn't because the clock was glued to the wall because of the paint. She then shared she too had used Valspar in her living room and the paint comes off everytime the sofa is moved away from the wall or something is placed against the paint. In addition her kitchen ceiling bubbled like plastic. So I will reconnect with the Valspar representative who told me they knew there is a problem with Valspar in the Texas region. Do not buy the paint if you love your home or even if you don't... It's a terrible product. I have been told the only way a new coat will stick is to manually peel the paint off the walls!

Valspar sucks. Everyone should know that by now. You bought paint from a "discount builders supply warehouse" and you actually thought it was a good idea?

It's been 6 weeks since I placed my order for curtain rods online. We planned our move-in date around the delivery of this order. It's been three weeks since the estimated date of delivery and I still haven't received the rods. NO communication from lowes (email or calls with status update or tracking info). The only communication I've had with lowes is that which I have initiated and I've spent HOURS on the phone trying to get any information. It's been absurd. I would be damned if I ever order from lowes online again.
