Lowes - Samsung Refrigerator

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, Model #RFJBEDBSG/AA, in Oct 2016, with the extended warranty. The refrigerator ice maker was serviced several times and found to be defective by the tech and was suppose to be a full replacement per Lowe's warranty. I was told by Lowe's full replacement would not be authorized. I paid $3000 for this refrigerator with the extended warranty thinking the company would keep their word about replacement. This is just plain poor customer service. I have purchased numerous Samsung products over the years and it is apparent I should probably move on to another company in the future.

you have an issue with Samsung here and not Lowe's. They didn't manufacture the refrigerator so how are they responsible for the quality of it?

And the extended warranty is from a third party, so if you have a complaint about that you'll need to contact them. Lowe's really doesn't have anything to do with you issue and that is why they aren't doing anything to help you.

All they do is SELL the refrigerator. This is how they can be "cheaper" than the locally owned appliance stores that have been put out of business by people like you!

I think that everyone should take their crap, non-working right refrigerators from Sears and clandestinely drop them off in front of the Goodwill and Salvation Army thrift stores under cover of darkness.

Lowes in Brooklyn, New York - Refrigerator not delivered on due date

Ordered a refrigerator on 7/25- delivery was scheduled for 8/5/2019 only to be called on a Sunday 8/4 that it was damaged, (which as not) because I went to the store directly and was told that it was out of stock completely. They also hung the phone up. Their customer care stinks.

Do not waste your time with Lowe’s. Everything about them is a waste of time & money.

Worst consumer experience ever ... in every aspect.

This company is doomed. I get the impression that management has no control & the employees & delivery are running a racket.

Lowes in Belleville, Michigan - Exorbitent shipping charges

Angry I was told by local customer service that I would have to go online to order my water heater Online. When I went online, I could not pick up this water heater at my local store. Shipping was $114.00.When the installer opened the carton, the top was badly dented. He told me it would leak if he installed it. I called the local manager, who told me they had one in stock. Why can I not get a refund of the shipping charges?

It always *** me off when something is advertised as being absolutely free and then they want you to pay shipping and handling charges that are as much as you could buy the item for in any store.

Why did you even order it if you felt the shipping charges were so high? Was the price with shipping lower than you could have purchased it for elsewhere? Seem like that would be the only valid reason for not purchasing it at another store.

What is your complaint? Are you trying to return items without a receipt, special order items, discontinued items?

All stores including Home Depot have return policies. If you can't follow their polices you can expect problems with your returns anywhere you shop.

actually the employee WAS following the procedures. They are instructed to not let anyone leave the store if there is a clear danger to them if they leave the store.

If the storm was bad enough that the electricity was off then it was bad enough that it was dangerous to be outside ate the particular time. High winds, downed power lines, TORNADOES. Stop being an a55 and think about it.

If they let you walk outside and you catch a power line to the face and get killed than your family would sue the living *** out of them. They are protecting YOU and themselves.

Last month I went to a store 20 miles away to buy fertilizer. Lowes web site claimed it was available. It was not. An employee told me there is none. Another told me Lowes updates it records once a week. Now I want to buy Compost as shown on line. There is none available in my state.

It has more than likely been discontinued and replaced with a different model. Stores don't have places to restock discontinued items and if they had taken it back it would have been moved to a discounted clearance area.

Why do you expect stores to take a loss on something you have had sitting around your house for 3 years? Why did you purchase it in the first place if you didn't use it? Sell it on Craigs list for whatever you can get for it.

If there is a loss, it should be yours for not being able to make a wise purchasing decision. I wonder where you are going to shop that has a return policy that will let you return items you have had sitting around your house for 3 years...good luck with that.

You really expect a retailer to return something you bought 3 years ago? Read any return policy at any retailer in the country.

90 days is usually the max.

And yes, this is 100% legal. These retailers aren't stupid.

Lowes in Jeffersonville, Indiana - Buying carpet

My husband and I bought new carpet, padding and a piece of trim for the step down back in May. To avoid a seam I had to purchase the 15' roll. Total carpet and padding purchased was 300 sq ft. They only used about 265 sq ft. I had to purchase an 8' piece of trim but they only used 38" of it. The remainder of materials were NOT left for my use elsewhere. I have went in twice to ask for the rest and have had no luck. They need to either give me the rest of the materials I purchased or give me a refund of what they stole from me!!!! NOT HAPPY!!!! Will never purchase from Lowe's again!!!!

when you go to a discount home improvement center, which Lowe's is, this is what you get. It's how they can be cheaper than the locally owned (and almost extinct) window companies. Think for a minute why that is.
