I purchased a $60 Larson door handle April 20,2022 to fix my locked up door handle on a house built in 1995. Turns out the Larson handle I bought was not correct and in the disassembly of my current door handle, it released and is back to full functionality.
I put the door handle back in the package and attempted to return sometime thereafter, even though I had misplaced the receipt. I gave my drivers license and they still refused the return. Here I am 8/8/2022 and I just found the receipt and tried again at Lowes, they refused a second time saying that it is beyond the 90 days! They are correct, 8 days beyond the 90 days, really?!?
I left the handle with them and said okay just throw it away! However, upon reflection I returned to the store to ask to speak to a manager and they refused again, stating they cannot over ride. So, I asked to get my item out of the trash stating I would call Larson directly, they had put my item in the returns basket and were going to sell it a second time!!! Or maybe third, considering they did not throw it out.
I find it atrocious that they would not take it back the first time, store credit nothing, and then when I do find the receipt they still will not take the item back!!
I am going to call customer service with Lowes & Larson and make my complaint known. I am a single mother (my husband was unfaithful and we divorced due to his infidelity amount other things!) of two boys.
I live in a nice home and I tried several times to recoup my costs, I find it hard to believe that lowes cannot find a way to accept their item back even for store credit. From now on, I will not be shopping at lowes and I am certainly not giving anyone my drivers license from now on, no matter what, it didnt help so what was the point of that?

Carpet Installation company
Numerous order and installation problems with carpet. 2 small orders placed within days at same store and paid in full.
After numerous calls I was assured there was no problem. Installation company knew nothing about it but again, after numerous calls, said no problem. Just the beginning of issues- installation company had under a name I never heard of and misspelled street address. I corrected spelling with them but they still had wrong spelling in computer and called half hour before because couldnt find address.
So 3 men came to carpet one 11x11 room and left. Room was completely empty but they removed window air conditioner to carpet. Why? The screen fell out on roof and bent.
Unfortunately I couldnt communicate with them because they spoke very little English. Sloppy job on doorway end. One single man came later to do other room and stair. Again very small area, no help, but did a nice job.
Took him approximately 6 hours. Called supervisor twice. Made many excuses and Said could only send me $100 check. Never received.
Never complained in my life! Outrageous installation company!! And must have made at least 6 calls to Lowes. Lowes is where the problem began.
So frustrating and exhausting. Never ever use this installation company. Ultimate Home Services no address given. Supervisor- Scott - 724-462-****.

We purchased a microwave that was delivered. We are upgrading our kitchen.
Purchased everything from Lowe's 22,000 in cabinets 5,000. counter top and 1300. on stove and microwave. Cabinets are running late.
stove and microwave where delivered last Saturday. Since there is no kitchen at the moment nothing was opened when Delivered. I decided to look at the microwave to see how to install. Noticed a gash in the back of it.
Called the Lowe's we purchased at . He was going to call me back and never did. Called back on Sun. and was told to bring it back in and reorder.
So we lugged it to the store to have some clown of a manager give us a hassle about bringing it back. Telling me we had 48 hours after purchase to return it. I just wanted to order a new one and got read the Lowe's rights. All the employees couldn't understand why she was giving us a hassle.
The box was just opened and no kitchen to put it in the cabinets aren't here. You spend 30,000. dollars at this store and you get crap over a 400. microwave???
This lady is an *** clown...
She said she will make a one time exception...
Well, Lucky us... Told her I'll cancel the hold dam order if she is going to hassle me over a new microwave...

I learned earlier this week Lowes had taken back the initial payment from a new bank account I had opened. Another complaint has been sent to the attorney general's consumer division regarding this on 1/9/2023 asking how the bank let that happen and why Lowes took it...
The refrigerator was delivered on 8/24/2022 and when I moved into my new house on 9/10/2022 I found the appliance not working. I have asked for help from Lowes, the manufacturer (Samsung) and progressive leasing. Samsung deemed the appliance irreparable after looking at it and finding it has a sealed system issue. They sent me a message confirming there is no company here that can fix it.
After being given the run around, I asked for progressive leasing to cancel my lease as it clearly states in the agreement we can cancel at any time. They have made cancelling this lease a nightmare and on top of that added a random charge of $170 for no good reason. After submitting a complaint to the attorney general's office in Oklahoma consumer division, Lowes has someone from Assurant reach out to me on 10/21/2022. He stated he will refund me $1885 and I'll accept the check but I am honest and told him I am leasing to own through progressive leasing and he stated he did not know that.
I have not paid $1885. So far I'm owed $595 and that's not even including all the time these companies have wasted on this. The Assurant representative tells me he'll call back in about 15 min and he does not. I call him this morning and email with no response.
They say they're going to refund me what I've paid and when I tell him about the leasing agency he doesn't have a clue what's going on.
I just want the $595 back. And for Lowes to reach out to progressive leasing and find out why they aren't honoring their agreement to cancel.

Verified Buyer | Houston, TexasI purchased a top of the line shower door online because its not in stock at stores. It was delivered by Ceva Logistics and left the package and merchandise severely damaged on my porch.
I called customer service as directed. They created a case and said the local store, Alamo Ranch, would contact me within 24 hours to pick it up.
They wont give me a refund of $649 until they get the package back. Two days later, the Lowes store hasnt called me. I called customer service again and they said they would elevate it to Management at the store. I decided to go directly to the store to talk to management which told me they will not pick it up because i didnt buy it at their store.
I told them I need to get my refund. I have purchased another one because it is urgent, my contractor is waiting for the shower door.
I was told that if they picked it up they would charge me for it. I cant believe this customer service.
I am getting the run around from Lowes customer service at The 1-800 number and the local Lowes store.
I am inconvenienced and have paid for a damaged package over $1300 and still dont have it resolved.

on March 6th. I was informed by telephone that this product does not exist and that the delivery people had nothing to bring me.
There was no apology, no explanation, nothing except we cannot help you. How can a company as large as yours not only have a product available online but also have it take 6-7 days for your fulfillment people to realize the problem. I purchased a product online and took the time pay for delivery. As a frequent customer I am very disappointed that there was no recourse offer to me for the company's mistake.
I even ordered more fence after your mistake. I'm very disappointed in how all of this played out.

I am a very loyal Lowes customer and have been for years have family that has worked for you. I have placed an order 11/5 order # 76280****.
Lowes delivery has called me as of this morning 3 times to reschedule. It was supposed to be the 8th, moved it to the 14th and then this morning they wanted it move it again. They seem to be having issues with their flat bed delivery truck. I understand things happen but I also know that they could just as easily rent a truck to get their deliverys out instead of having to constantly reschedule them.
They have been pretty polite about the situation but I paid for this to be delivered bc I do not have the means to pick it up, being drywall, wall paneling and insulation.
And now I am going to be late getting this house ready for the new tenents which is costing me money. I feel like Lowes should have contingency plans in place for situations like this.

I will update my review with I called the Lowes (Bradley-Bourbonais) I purchased from and spoke to manager there, Frank. He has since refunded my item.
And I will be leaving this store specific manager a positive review with Lowes. I would not recommend the Lowes in New Lennox that refused my return on my second attempt.
