On October 1, 2015 I went to Lowes at the Marketplace in Menifee, California. To my surprise I encountered Margaret in your décor. department which was very knowledgeable and helpful. Then proceeded to the checkout counter and I encountered Melissa which also was very helpful. She then asked Trace to help me to my car which he was a very nice and helpful young man he then went to the plant department and grabbed some plastic to cover my auto before putting my plants in. All in all I had a very pleasant trip to your store. I purchased around $135.00 in Blinds and plants. Thank you for hiring such great people. Margaret, Melissa & Trace. Yes, I have paid off my bill but I will still do business with you. I want this to go to the store manager.

Lowes review in Cary, North Carolina: Terrible experience using Lowe's for our kitchen remodel

I strongly recommend never using Lowe's for your kitchen remodel based on our experience: - We used their in store cabinet and kitchen designer and ordered custom cabinets, granite counters, and flooring. The Shenandoah cabinets arrived 3 weeks ago and we were just now able to get in touch with them to get the cabinet installation scheduled next week. - This means our cabinets have been sitting in our downstairs for a month before they are finally installed. - We had our design appointment scheduled, took time off work to attend the meeting, then get to the store to find out the meeting was cancelled (both design consultants were off that day) and nobody called to tell us. We even had to pay a babysitter to watch our kids. - We also ordered cabinet knobs online for in store pickup - order confirmation said order would be ready last Tuesday and the store would call us when ready. Cabinet installers are coming Monday and they will install knobs for us, but just found out the store cancelled our order due to not having any in stock (although website says they had them) and nobody called to tell us. Luckily, Home Depot bailed us out by having knobs we like in stock. If you are thinking about doing a kitchen or bath remodel, I STRONGLY recommend going anywhere but Lowe's!!!!!

Just curious.

Lowe's was in the news last year for violating lead safe practices with their customers. Were you informed about lead safety when you contracted with Lowe's to do your kitchen remodel?

Lowes review in Shelby County, Tennessee: People with Merchandise Carts in any Parking Lot

This has happened in Kroger and Lowe's parking lots. Lowe's DOES NOT CARE if your car is damaged. The managers (Michael and George) at the Lowe's in Cordova, TN on Germantown Parkway showed no real concern for the customer and his car (ME). They said I had to contact corporate to get a copy of the surveillance tape. WRONG! Corporate said I needed to call the police and file a report to get access to the tape and the police have to ask for it. Who ever is right....you should know all of this so when it happens to you, you understand you are screwed and so is your car. The non-caring idiots of the USA who take their merchandise out of the cart and allow the cart to roll across the lot and hit someone's car. Whoever you are, may you have a wreck that will make you look at the other person and say....***, non caring, ***. You deserve what you dish! Some people....just SUCK!

All retail parking lots in the US are "use at your own risk". Unless you paid a few to use it the business and/or owner has absolutely no liability for damage to your car.

These cases get thrown out of small claims court every time. Unless you can prove that the store operator or property owner damaged your car with malicious intent, you are in the wrong complaining about them.

I see carts left in parking lots right next to a cart corral. Apparently, the people are much too lazy to walk five feet.

Happens all the time.

But, I expect they know all about some sports team or TV star. We are doomed.

Lowes review in Albuquerque, New Mexico: Surly cashier

For the second time in just a few weeks I recieved absolutely horrible customer service from the store at 3500 Nm 528 NW, in Albuquerque, NM. The cashier would not even speak to me as I checked out my purchases and would merely give me a dirty look and point. I did confirm finally that this person was capable of actual speech, when she barked at me to turn a product around so she could scan it. It took me a few moments to realize that the cause of this person's animosity was racism. Absolutley despicable. I won't be back.

Black people often have the habit of playing the race card when things don't go their way. This one is no different. Sometime they want special treatment or break the rules and accuse the cop, teacher of being racist for taking action.

Lowes review in Norcross, Georgia: Not Very Honest

On September 21, 2015, I contacted Lowe's San Bruno store in order to purchase an interior door for rental property that I own in San Mateo, California. My first call was with Lorisa who told me that she was in a meeting, but would call me back in one hour. After three hours I called her back. I provided her with specifications on the door. She was going to research the available products and call me back. Needless to say, that did not happen. I called Lorisa a total of four times that day and was finally able to arrange for an installer to go to the house and measure the door opening. Lorisa did find me a door that met my specifications and she sent me a quote via e-mail. Because she did not have the measurements she used random dimensions for the size of the door. The price of the door was to be $228.67. I was to pay $199.00 for installation and $45.00 to have the door measured. The $45.00 charge was to be credited back to me if I purchased a door from Lowe’s. William went out to measure the door on September 23rd. He told me that the measurements would be downloaded to Lowe’s that afternoon. I called Lowe’s the next day; because I have tenants living in the house who do not have a bathroom door. I was told that it took 3 days for the measurements to download (they really should look into updating their computer system). I waited until September 29th and when I did not hear from Lowe’s I called them. At this point Lowe’s had not made a single call too me, all calls originated with me. Ruben confirmed that Lowe’s had received the measurements from William. Ruben was going to put together a contract and send it to me by e-mail. After at least six alleged attempts, I finally received the contract at 5:00 p.m. on September 30th. The contract reflected a material price that was 30% higher than the price I was given and reflected a labor cost that was 57% higher than what I was told. I called Lowe’s and spoke to a male who identified himself as the manager of the mill works department. I told him that I wanted an explanation for the substantial increase in the price of the door and installation. He explained that the actual door was 80 inches tall and that this was not a standard dimension. I told him that I would be checking this with the manufacturer, at which point he hung up on me. I called the store back and asked to speak to the manager. It turns out that the male who identified himself as the manager was not really the manager. It also turns out that 80 inches is a standard height for an interior door. At this point Lowe’s has wasted over three hours of my time. It has taken over ten days to do a task that should have taken two days. It is obvious to me that their staff has been intentionally wasting my time. I’m sure that they will not find the situation as amusing when I send Lowe’s a bill for my time. Needless to say, I will be calling Home Depot the next time I need an appliance replaced.

I do not know what is going on as of late with Lowes, but in the past, I have had no problems. But lately, the smallest things turns into a disaster.

Even calling the customer service department is bad. You get a totally different answer from each person you talk to about the same problem. So today I have spent 2 hours of my time trying to get answers about a refrigerator repair, that was supposed to happen two weeks ago. (Mind you it's not even a year old) The last rude representative told me that I needed to call the manufacturer even though I paid for a 5 year warranty through Lowes.

When I explained to him that Lowes needed to honor the warranty I purchased, regardless if it was still under the manufacturers. The rep. than hung up on me. Than another 20 min to get someone to help.

But thank God for the internet and Google. I found a different number for customer service (800)-445-6937 and finally got some satisfaction.

But I really do question why a new refrigerator needs a part. Going forward, I probably will go to Home Depot for appliances and I will never buy another Frigidaire if they break in less than a year.

DD214 no good at Lowes anymore

Lowes promised they would give 10% off and another 10% off using my DD214 when purchasing new replacement windows for our home.. the first 6 that we purchased (9-23,26 & 27th of 2015) they stood by their word and when we went back today (9-30th-2015)they would not, said that the DD214 was no longer recognized.. that was within a weeks time....said it was only use on Veterans Day only. what is wrong with this place.. a vet is a vet 365 days a year , are they saying that a vet doesn't matter except for that special day..... called Home Depot and they will except all you need is an official ID and your DD214 form, so I do know now were I will be spending my money.......

IM NOT SURE IF I JUST HAVE BAD LUCK OR WHAT BUT NOW I HAVE BOUGHT 3 BRAND NEW WASHERS FROM LOWES IN THE PAST 4 YEARS FIRST ONE WAS A WHIRLPOOL DID NOT GET A WARRANTY IT LASTED JUST THREE WEEKS OVER THE ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AND LOWES WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING FOR IT SO WE BOUGHT ANOTHER NEW ONE FROM THEM ALSO A DIFFERENT WHIRLPOOL BUT THIS TIME BOUGHT A 5 YEAR WARRANTY WITH IN THE FIRST YEAR WE HAD TO HAVE THE WARRANTY COMP. COME OUT TO OUR HOME AND FIX IT THREE TIMES. WELL ME AND MY WIFE SPLIT UP SHE TOOK THAT WASHER AND DRYER. NOW LIKE A *** WENT BACK TO LOWES AND BOUGHT A BRAND NEW MAYTAG WASHER AND DRYER HAVE HAD IT 6 MONTHS AND NOW THE WASHER ITS BROKE GOOD THING I DID BUY THE EXTRA WARRANTY THIS IS JUST CRAZY NOW KEEP IN MIND WE ARE NOT OVER LOADING WASHER IM 42 YEARS OLD AND I DO KNOW HOW TO WASH CLOTHES .NOW I HAVE NOT CALLED THE WARRANTY COMP. Lowe's doesn't build the washers and dryers. You get the same machine no matter where you purchase the item.

As for your repair issue, if you want just the manufacturer's warranty, why would you expect the retailer to pay for your repair after that warranty expires?

purchase a dry from lowes on 04-03-2015 for about 3 months it work good but then gets real hot and shut down call lowes had service two week later service company came out put new motor on dryer put in back together wrong still not fixed did the same thing again call again came out after about 2 weeks came with a cell phone to repair the dryer no tools call someone they toll him it was a limit waited two more week came out checked the dryer this time all limits check good but changed it anyway put it together again still not right still not woking lowes said they will have the service company come out again don't buy appliances from lowes service maybe or not. or service after the purchase lowes no.

Lowes Clinton Township Mi can't deliver major appliances

Last Saturday I bought a Maytag washer and dryer and a Whirlpool washer and dryer. They were to be delivered today. On Wednesday I received a call, saying that the Maytag washer and dryer were in, and the Whirlpool washer was in. But the dryer was delayed till this Sunday. I agreed to have the Maytags delivered today (Saturday). I received a call Friday night indicating that the delivery would be made between 3 and 5 on Saturday. Then this morning I received a call stating that they were having difficulty with loading, and that the delivery would occur between 4 and 6pm. Late this afternoon I got a call from the delivery service saying they only had the Maytag washer, and dryer would be here in 3 or 4 days? I called the store, and "Richard" told me that the Whirlpool washer were in, and the Maytag washer were in, but the washer was not. I told him I was totally confused as the store had confirmed the Maytags on Wednesday! He offered no explanation. I asked ifI could cancel the order, and his verbatim was "You can do whatever you want to!" So I drove down to the store to cancel the order, a 3000 dollar order. Come to find out "Richard" didn't tell me what really happened. Lowes sold my Maytag dryer to another customer.....so I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow.

Lowe's has been a pain in my side since May with special orders and now after a $3200 order we are being jerked around another 4 weeks for delivery. Won't buy from them again.

Did you have any luck I power washed my deck to get this off, it flakes in places and other parts cant even get it off tried floor sander took some of it off but just dug down to my deck screws and ate the 20 grit paper off . Just A *** product that should be pulled off shelves. I did notice when I fueled my power the gas that dripped on the side made this stuff come off with no problem but who wants to soak their deck in gas and have more problems than the stain it self. Lowes should get out of the paint business.
