I will never buy from Lowes again because you give in to racist customers -- you are a low life company when you give in to some racist ***--this is one of the sickest things I have heard of a company doing ----anyone involved in this tragedy should be hung in public so that this kind of low life *** is stopped for good -- shame on you Lowes for such low character----what are going to do ab out the manager involved -- give him a raise or fire him --probably you will do nothing since you have a very low rating on the fairness to your black employees.. You had better turn this around as soon as possible or loose everything!

No win situation. If the original driver goes anyway and it gets ugly at delivery then mgmt.

would be disciplined for sending him when customer requested not to.

Every member of management at the store that had anything to do with replacing the driver was fired.

You are correct that this is despicable. Just an fyi three employees were fired from Lowe's for doing this.

The BIG problem is the piece of *** that made the request in the first place. That's the person that should be bearing the brunt of your anger.

I'm a disabled vet. I was denied the ten percent discount at check out. I left after paying full price for the items I called customer service and they got me the discount.. however.. when I went back into the store the lady who originally denied me the discount stormed over sayingi checked your Id your not disabled what's wrong with you anyway.. I felt like I was in war all over again pinned down receiving fire and just exhausted out of ammo and not want I g to go through it.. the nice lady at the customer service did her best to explain what had happened and why I receive the discount but what was the front end manager continued to attack me as she pounded the refund into the computer. When she was done double tapping me in the skull she simply stepped passed my beaten corps and continued on the war path... can Lowes please educate the employees on the discount policy.. vets get ten percent during holidays disabled vets get ten percent always. Now once I was done getting attacked I looked at the customer service rep smiled and said wow she's a real nice lady. She smiled back and apologised for what I had just gone through. I told her it wasn't her that should be apologising . I left called the customer service line again filed a complaint and haven't heard back from anyone thanks Lowes for caring about our vets ( sarcasticly) please help your staff to know that not all disabled people are visibly disabled

Everything you have said is so true. Customers screaming at you blaming you for bad product policies are always changed depending on managers I.think there are some stores that have Dept. Managers as MODs and store managers as service managers who gets yelled at and degraded DMs no extra pay for extra responsibility. Back stabbing cut throat coworkers ,good workers abused and thrown out as long as you are kissing managers xxx your golden. Lowes doesnt care about customer service or employees warrenties are rhe stores bottom line I will never buy one once you do you're SOL. I really enjoyed working there in the beginning now I dread it So customers sometimes when employees are short its because the are pushed to work hard multi task and are not trIamed. It's all about lining management's pockets they dont care about you or their employees.

I pulled into the rear loading area for contractors and as usual, there is a Lowes semi truck flatbed parked right in the middle of the entrance to the driveway. Making it impossible to enter the loading area. I entered the store and talked to the cashier, who was not helpful. I then walked over to the contractors desk and asked why the driver had to block the entrance to the loading area. He said that they were in the process of loading the flatbed. Which they were not, because all 6 of them were over by the large garage door, inside BSing. I was in the store for over 25 minutes and when I left they were still blocking the entrance. Why does Lowes not hire some employees that actually care about their work ethics and the company they work for. Not one employee cares anymore at Lowes. You could tell them the building was burning down and its like "not my problem", whenever I have problems at Lowes, I go right across the street to the next non customer service store Home Depot. Get your act together Lowes, hire managers that bust some heads. Your employees need better training and be respectful.

As a cashier, we do not know everything about the store or the departments or what the people in those departments do, whereas we are trained on the REGISTER, which is OUR JOB is to be a CASHIER. It is not OUR JOB to babysit the *** managers that we have.

I do not suggest shopping at lowes. they are a *** company and do not care about the good employees that they do have.

And they do DISCRIMINATE, They are discriminating against me right now because i am pregnant and I am being let go. *** this company.

I wanted to purchase a shed listed for $800. I was told by Lowes manager that because I lived in Brooklyn New York that I could not get it for that price. They wanted to charge me $400 more. I decided to ho out of state, bought it for $800 and had it shipped for $100. Your zip code determines how much you pay. The price is same at all home depot stores. Lowes can go to ***. Lowes in Hastings, New York - A Comedy of Errors

I've been meaning to put this out here for almost a year now, I guess I was hoping that I would get some long awaited apology or maybe even a gift card, but no such luck..... I placed my online order for a $1709 Husqvarna riding lawn mower without issue on Sunday, 8/31/14. From 8/27 to 9/3 a rebate is available for $100 Lowes gift card on this purchase. I received an order confirmation email stating someone would call about delivery within 24 hours. Nobody called. Monday was the Labor Day holiday, so I am thinking that might be why. Still no call by Tuesday (9/2) evening, so I call in and am told my delivery would be Sunday, September 7th between 7-9 AM. I say that is fine. The next day I get an email telling me delivery is on Saturday, September 6th (no time given, will receive call night before). I then get an email the next morning saying the status of my order has changed, and I need to call customer service. They could not process my credit card for some reason. After 45 minutes on the phone with customer service, being put on hold multiple times, I am told they were able to get the card to process. I then ask to be put in touch with delivery dept. I explain to delivery that I can't take delivery on the 6th unless it is after 2pm. They say no problem, they can put me in for after 2. Friday night I get the automated call which says my delivery window is between 1 and 3. Last time I checked 1 is not after 2. OK, fine, I can be there an hour sooner. The morning of delivery (September 6th),I get a phone call from the local store's delivery manager, saying they can't process my credit card! He offers to bill it out at the store, I just need to give him the card info again. I say that is fine, as long as I will be charged the same amount as originally paid. I told him I had a discount code for 10% off. He says no problem, So I give him the same EXACT card, same info, he is able to process no problem. I then get a phone call at 10:45 asking if they can deliver then (in 30 minutes) instead of between 1 and 3. I make arrangements to accommodate, and meet them to there at 11:15 to take delivery early, as they would have had to backtrack to deliver later. On delivery I am shown my receipt, and I am being charged the wrong amount. No 10% discount included. Delivery manager says he will fix when he returns to store after deliveries, and will call me that evening with the amount that was credited. He never calls. In the meantime, I am looking over the mower, raise the hood, and see the mower has a Briggs and Stratton engine in it. The one I ordered was to have a Kohler engine in it. So after all of this, I have been delivered the wrong product. I go to the store the next day (September 7th), delivery manager not in, talk with assistant manager. Explain the situation to him. I let him know that I am willing to keep the mower if he will discount it enough to offset getting the wrong one, and all of the problems I have had. Apparently even though Lowes advertises (and sometimes has a different sell price) on their website for these as 2 different items, they are a single item number in their system. He issues a credit of $292 to offset the discount code that was not applied $171, and rest $100 for accepting the wrong item, and all the trouble, including the 3% I would not receive cash back from the credit card company. At no time was the rebate discussed. I find the amount to being credited to be low (considering the 3% is almost half of what is being given) but I was told that was all he could do. However I was expecting to still be able to submit for the $100 rebate that was available at the time of my original online purchase. I cannot do this now because they cancelled my original order which was during the valid rebate period, rebill done outside rebate period. I call back customer service (who can't help me), sends me back to the store. Assistant manager calls back and tells me he ALREADY INCLUDED THE REBATE AMOUNT in the $292 he refunded me, which as I said, was never discussed. I explain this is not acceptable. Again, there was also 3% cash back I would have received for using the credit card's online shopping portal that I am sure I won't get because the online order was cancelled. I had to call executive customer service to get help. The rep was helpful, and told me that she would work on seeing what she could, and would call me the next morning (September 8th). On the evening of September 8th I went to use the mower for the first time. Upon going through the process to purge the transmission, the mower started to smoke profusely, and would not move. This was the final straw. When the rep called the next morning I told her what happened and asked to return the mower. She accommodated my request, and contacted the store about pickup. Pickup was to be between 6 and 8 pm the following day. I received a call that next morning from delivery saying they couldn't pick it up that late, as they were almost done with deliveries for the day, so I again rearranged my schedule to accommodate the delivery department on the 9th picking up the defective mower at 1:30. I was issued a credit for the balance. So I realize this is a long story, but the bottom line is Lowes couldn't process my payment correctly, couldn't deliver the correct item at the correct time, overcharged me for all of this, and on top of it delivered a defective product. I could have refused to accept the early delivery, returned the incorrect item, and required re-delivery of the correct item all at Lowes expense. This is in my opinion, horrible customer service.

let me first say i used to always buy from lowes in paris,tn and never had to many problems,here in last couple years we moved to dickson,tn and first i bought brand new side by side refridgerator for over 1000.00 dollars,which was biggest piece of *** from day 1,always made noises from day 1 and store would just say there is nothing wrong,it still makes weird noises n icemaker has a mind of its own,then *** me bought lowes air conditioner 18000 btu window unit,installed it and it worked like *** so i returned it and still to this day havent got all my money back for it,ive had trouble from *** paint that peels of wall to ceiling fans that something brakes on them in like months,please if your smart go somewhere else especially dont go to dickson tenn one,i started useing home depot in clarksville,tn and alot better quality,cause lowes is junk and there warranty is junk,i bought ext warranty for a/c unit n returned it in a week and still lost my 100.00 something money i spent for ext warranty,lowes used to sell good stuff or at least paris,tn did,stay clear of dickson,tn unless you want ***,i called n ask about a tree few months back they said sure we have them,drove 30 minutes one way n surprise they are out till next year,what a joke

Lowes in Beaverton, Oregon - Lied to about availability

Went to Lowe's for an air conditioner. All out of stock, but was told an order was on the way and would be delivered possibly that night, but surely by Saturday which is the pickup date on my receipt (yes I paid in advance). Promised me a phone call as soon as it arrived. No phone call, Saturday comes, can't get the service desk on the phone due to poor automated phone system. Drive there and ask about it. After three different people looked into it I was told they weren't going to get anymore of that model this season. Get a credit to my credit card I hope actually goes through. I will never shop there again. Hillsboro Oregon Lowe's.

Sorry this happened to you. No comment on your situation, but I have found with other businesses that if you want to talk to a person, keep pushing zero over and over until it transfers your call. It usually works for me.

I signed my business up for a commercial LAR account. I was told that I would get 5% off of all purchases and sometimes more depending on what promotions they have at the time. 3 days later I used this account to buy 80 dollars worth of stuff and everything went fine! then I go back that weekend to buy a water heater, trim, lumber, and a bunch of other stuff probably over 1000 dollars worth of stuff for working on a rental house. When I told them at the register that I had an LAR account she looked it up and asked for my card. I told her that I did not have the card yet as its a new account and it had not come in the mail yet. She sent me to the customer service desk to ask manager to push the discount through for me. The manager informed me that without my card I could not have the discount? I told the manager that I had just gotten the account and the card had not come in the mail yet and that the last time I was in the store they had no problem giving me the discount. The manager said he could not violate store policy and that I would have to pay full price. Now don't get me wrong 5% is not much, but its the principal of the matter that was bothering me. I told the manager that if I could not have the discount I would take my business to home depot. His exact words were "good, see ya". Please also keep in mind that I had not lost my temper, gotten angry, or said anything inappropriate to deserve this. All I had said was, I don't understand why I cant have a discount when I have an account that is showing up in your computer, they just have not mailed the card. Then out of frustration I did say I would take my business elsewhere in what I felt was a polite manor. Did that justify the managers response? I dont think so. So when I left the store I called Lowe's LAR customer service. Told them to cancel my account. The card came in the mail that following Monday so I ran it through the paper shredder! The funny thing is that I left all the stuff I had shopped for at the checkout counter where i'm sure some lowe's employee spent 45 min putting back on the shelf and drove to Home depot. The water heater and many other items I purchased were a little cheaper and I ended up saving 11% buy paying full price at home depot! This happened at the lowe's in Clayton NC cleavland crossings. highway 42 and interstate 40 intersection.
