Lowes in Deltona, Florida - Installation of wood flooring

Two white men installed the actual wood flooring in well, no problem with the actual floor boards. The problem was with everything else, starting with the trim. The trim along the floor was not mitred well so all the corners do not meet neatly. They also did not take the time to shave the other end that is supposed to butt up against the wall so there is an half inch gap and it looks ***. I had to fill it in with alot of puddy. In the closet they left holes where they for whatever reason did not bother to lay trim down. I had to stuff the holes with paper towels and I will puddy over that. The trim on one side does not really touch the wall or floor. It's like floating yet nailed into the wall. There is a small gap there. They work with this pink puddy (why pink I have no idea as it is very visible on white trim) and it looked like a kid that went finger painting. I talking really messy. I have yet to scrap up all the puddy that should not be there. They got that pink puddy all over my bathroom floor and fixtures. It comes off with a bit of scrubbing but common. They took the doors off their hinges and I believe were in such a hurry to leave forgot to replace them. My husband had to put them back up. Basically I did not feel like they cared, they were just in a hurry and did a half *** job so they could get in and get out as fast as they could. I know they would not have done their own homes in this fashion. what a mess. Oh and they broke a leg off a table we had with our tv on it when they pushed it out of the way. I noticed it after they left one of the legs was bent inward. Thank God the tv didn't fall off. I will not use Lowe's in the future. We had used them once before this and the men (these were different men then this time) Two black gentleman did a nice job installing our living room floor, they did leave a gap in front of the door to the bedroom but we didn't complain because these guys tried to do a good job. But this new guys should be fired. Disgraceful!

Preferred solution
To train their installers better. I don't want my money back and I don't want the problem fixed if they could not get it correct the first time I will rather fix it myself. But it's important Lowes knows how their installers are working badly.

Lowes in Fort Worth, Texas - A little dishonest?

Has this happened to you? I bought a basket full of items and upon checking my receipt at home, found a charge for a large quantity of items I did not get. The error was at the top of the ticket, so I didn't notice it when I used my credit card. I caught the mistake at home. I am a senior citizen, if that has anything to do with it and the checker didn't think I would notice? It also happened at another major building supply store, so be warned, double check the ticket before leaving the store. On Guard

Quit playing the age card, that takes credibility from your actual complaint. IF you pay attention as you are being checked out you will know what is going on.

I have been a loyal Costumer of Lowe's for years. It has been the first place I have shopped whenever I needed ANYTHING for me home. Am having so much trouble with my most resent order . I will NEVER set foot in a Lowe's again. They have lost me as a customer.

i bought a bosch drilldriver and added the one year protection plan. bosch has a 3 year already and thought it would kick in after that.but it does not.

lowe's is ripping people off with these plans. i have talked to the bosch's people and in fact the tool was covered for 3 years and that lowe's 1 year should have made it 4.lowe's is making a killing off of these plans

Lowes in New Kensington, Pennsylvania - Worst customer service, worst online store, worst in store service and clueless employees.

Couldn't agree more. Incompetent and poor service. Home Depot for us going forward. We went to the store to get a washer. They were unable to order the one we wanted FROM THE STORE COMPUTER! Told us to go home and order online which was a HUGE hassle and an hour on the phone. Then on delivery day which took forever and a day, they called to tell us the washer was damaged and did we still want it? DUH!!!! They told us they would call in a couple of days. This was Saturday. On Monday after several calls and no answers, we cancelled the order. Now we will have to fight for our money back. NEVER will purchase ANYTHING from Lowes again.

We are going through terrible service as well. There goal, get your money and NO service.

WE have called Lowes cares (right), we have gotten nowhere. Managers don't care. LG drying of 7 months stopped working. Service techs been here twice.

Still not fixed. So on 3 weeks without dryer.

It will be 4-5 weeks. POOR service

Lowes in Beckley, West Virginia - I feel this is the biggest rip-off that has come down the pike!

We purchased several containers of the product, first in the 5 gallon size and when we went back a couple .of weeks later to purchase some more, we were told that it was no longer available in the 5 gallon size. We bought the 2.67 gal. size (79703) to finish the job. It is the biggest rip-off I have ever seen in my life and although I cannot find my receipts, I still want compensation for the (3) 5 gallon cans we bought plus the 2.67 gal. can. I never dreamed we would need to keep receipts. I intend to spread the news about this lousy product and join in the lawsuit you have pending. I have piles of it rhat peeled off.

Lowes will not honor or replace a defective dishwasher with warranty

Bought a dishwasher from Lowes in Mooresville Indiana with warranty. they will not answer questions, send a repair person in a timely manner, talk politely, or do anything to help a 59 year old professional. I have talked to all and they just make excuses while being evasive and rude. I have spent close to 10000 dollars with these people who think people like me owe them a living. They keep asking for irrelevant info to stall. They ask over and over again for our information that they have and we have supplied numerous times. I spent 125 dollars each time their defective equipment has been installed. Their equipment is defective and the factory confirmed it and yet they let this go on. We have spoken politely to the mgr. asst. mgr. the head of appliance dept. a spokesperson etc.

Your not alone. New dryer broken.

After 3 weeks and 2 visits from their incompetant repair company, need to order another part. So it will be 4-5 weeks without dryer. No biggie to them. They just say nothing meaningful on the phone.Once they hang up, you are no longer remembered.

That is customer service today.

Hey, Home Depot!! If you want to take over Lowes, offer REAL customer service.

You don't say if this is the one year manufacturer warranty or service plan (kicks in after the 1st year). If you are talking about the manufacturer warranty the manufacturer is responsible for REPAIRS under the warranty.

The warranty calls for repair, not replacement. If the manufacturer isn't getting the repairs done you should be complaining about them, not Lowes.

Lowes, Brantford has the WORST customer service!!!! After waiting at Customer service for an hour, I was informed that my item wasn't assembled. I travelled from Brampton (1 hour) and borrowed a truck for this item, received confirmation from Lowes that it was ready and it wasn't. It took them an hour to tell me that and then they were annoyed that I was annoyed. They ignored me and serviced another customer! OUTRAGEOUS! Its always a minimum 45minute wait when picking something up at this location. Ainsley has NO business working at a customer service desk ANYWHERE! She has a horrible juvenile attitude with no clue about customer service! She was rude and disrespectful and made the situation WORSE!

Lowes - Incompetence from Lowe's Fence Purchase and Installation

Here is my review of Lowe's, Tarentum, PA. If I could click on ZERO stars, I would. I have never been treated so poorly by a company and its contractors ever before and I have been dealing with companies and contractors for over 40 years! I had ordered a vinyl fence to be installed on April 17, 2015 and it was to be installed in 3 days the following week. Here it is June 26, 2015 and the fence is still not completed yet. The Lowe's store manager, Scott is now saying that they are not going to return and repair and complete the fence! This has caused me tremendous stress and frustration! Family holiday celebrations had to be canceled and my family is furious with me over it because it was my to have the Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day pool/picnic celebrations. The contractors messed what little bit the did install and it has to be taken back out and redone. This is a pool surround fence and after the previous wooden fence was taken down April 23, 2015, I have been very concerned for months about the exposed pool which legally requires a fence around it and Lowe's constantly making up excuses for not getting the fence installed properly. The stress is overwhelming! I couldn't even get the cover taken off my pool it yet, the contractors put *** in the cover and it has to be sent back to the manufacturer for repairs, but Neither Lowe's managers Scott and Scherry nor the contractors Blades N' Spades, Jim Barkley, won't provide an insurance policy number and they are required to have insurance to work for Lowe's but the phone number that Lowe's manager gave me does not return my calls (I feel that the contractor didn't have insurance because of this). My little dogs still can't even go out in their own yard with the fence not done properly to contain them in the yard. The Lowe's installation manager, Scherry and the both contractors ,Jim Barkley and Tom Linderman, were incredibly rude. Materials had to be delivered over and over because of contractor incompetence. I could go on and on about the horrendous problems with Lowe's and it's contractors, but it would be an entire book if I did. Bottom line is: DON"T TRUST LOWES AND ITS MANAGERS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMERS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!!!!!

Went to Lowes to buy splitter and barrels, then adked if they had separators for area between carpet and glooring, one guy adked a girl named Vicki and she said she was unable to asdist him because she was helping someone else. So we walked around the store and ran into a few customers looking for help. We went to check out and when asked if we found everything we needed i replied No, that thete is no k e around yo assist you at all. The cashierbthen replies, we are doing inventory right now, so I say to her, just because you are doing inventory dies not mean you cannot have associates on the floor to assist people, unlike you and the other cashier who were just standing around talking. She just smiled and said nothing more. ReLly inventory at 11:00 in the morning? What the whole staff was foing inventory? Worst customer service ever, will drive a few extra miles to Ace Hardware next time.
