Lowes - Cabinet Manufacturer

We shopped around a lot for cabinets to upgrade our kitchen. Kitchen not too big or complicated so we decided to give the job to Lowes. We did our own demolition of the kitchen and it was all set for the new install. First off- the Lowes employees in Derby, CT are genuinely great. They try to help and in the end came through for us. Try to make a long story short.... We had our kitchen redone with cabinets from Lowes. Good cabinets, great deal/price. Ok that was in beginning of August 2014. The cabinet manufacturer (Diamond Cabinets) finally delivered out cabinets in mid-October 2014. Some were damaged or the finish was not correct. 5 weeks later the replacements were delivered. Same thing; some were damaged or the finish was not correct............Just note- the cabinet installer from Lowes was spot on and he really did look out for us and told us that we should not accept any damaged- or patched/flawed cabinets from the manufacturer. The installer could not start the job until all the components were there to install, and so we did not have a working kitchen for months! We did not have any patience left and feel that we have been taken. The store manager was very nice to us and got us a 10% discount and some free cabinet inserts. Well not much could have made us feel any better at this time. With the Holidays over I was feeling that I was never going to have my kitchen back. Finally in January 2015 the installers were able install the cabinets and on January 20, 2015 I had my countertop/sink installed which was the final piece of the puzzle. I can now use my kitchen and it looks really nice! BUT...It is now May 17, 2015 and we are still waiting on one cabinet door exchange that the finish was not correct and needed replacing!!!!!! Ok Lowes.... who dropped the ball!!!!!!!! The point of me sharing this is that Lowes was not really at fault here, it was the manufacturer who shipped out product that should not have been. If you have A LOT of patience - I feel that Lowes is still better than the other BIG BOX store, by far (through experience)..........scary isn't it!

Lowes - Bait and switch in Kansas City

I purchased online a 20 oz bottle of Goof Off and a couple of other items. When I made the purchase the website said there were 5 in stock at "my" sore on Boardwalk in KCN. They called me 30 minutes later to tell me my order was ready. When I got there, it was a 16 oz bottle. I went back to look for the 20 oz bottle but they only had 15 or so 16 oz. They certainly didn't sell 5 20 oz bottles in 30 min. Manager was rude to me so I refunded all items. My next letter is Missouri Attorney General to file complaint.

Lowes in San Bernardino, California - Worst experience ever

I went to the East Highland store to purchase appliances. Prior to going to the store, I wrote everything about the ones I wanted. When I got there I went straight to the department to place my order. What follows was the worse experience I've ever had in many years. The appliance delivery was horrific. The excuses, the delays and the worst thing, the dangerous and faulty stove connection. Even to this day, I still have not been contacted by the personnel to apologize and asked what can be done to make e forget what danger they put us through. I will never go back to this store.

Lowes - Garden Stone Review from Mountain View, California

Trying to find out about the garden stone. The one young lady acted as if i were bothering her. Two you gentleman standing right where we were at, never offered any assistance because they were busy on their cell phones! If we asked them a question it was short answered, if answered, then back to their cell phone! Thought about buying a pallet of the stone's. But due to their comments, lack of knowledge, and being busy with their cell phones, i just bought 50 i will go somewhere else for future needs.

Lowes in Mears, Michigan - A customer service nightmare

We used Lowes in Muskegon, Michigan, to supply us for a major remodeling of our home. With the mistakes they've made and the snotty customer service, even after we spent tens of thousands with them, I can't help but wonder how this company remains in business. Inattentive sales staff, combative customer service and outright lies are their hallmark. How about countertops ordered in January, finally shipped in May ... and they were wrong? How about a store manager who blamed a back order on a dock strike on the west coast that she couldn't say even affected our delivery? How about the kitchen and bath "designer" who hides and refuses to return messages or pick up calls when things go south? How about a sales guy so nuts, he can't focus on the customer's needs and, instead, babbles on about his guns, his advanced college degrees and his wife, who he seems to loathe? If you need a box of nails or some lawn seed, go for it ... if it's anything much more complex than that, avoid Lowes and seek help elsewhere. Learn from our nightmare.

I am a card holder at lowes on 6920 state ave in Wyandotte, kS and I have had some good employees helping me when you finally fine help after walking around looking for somebody. And some are very rude employees. They'll tell you they're about to take there break. And the cashiers can be so rude. The young girl in returns and I had a yelling match at each other. She was still there the last time I was there. Do they know there are people who want a job. If they don't like there job they need to leave. who's over this store. They need a manager who's not going to take employees being rude. Something bad is going to happen at this store if they don't get it under control. I keep watching the news. I don't shop there any more. This store will go out of business, b/c people will stop coming. This is how we as customers in the Dot (Wyandotte) do businesses like these. We stop coming. We will shut them down. Just watch....

To All . This is to inform you that .. I am waiting my order from 21:15 to 23:00 and still waiting. . really bad service. I called 22:00 and they answer you have to wait and they will call you. And when I complained they said we will check and will call. . No respons .. and i call again and complain also no no action taken. Then I called again for my order and i asked for the manager contact they gave me 0097155 602 7506 then when i called the in charge feels bad but asked me if still i want the order .. my answer was my children already slept but i want my order And until now i am waiting. by the way cupple of month ago same happened to me and order new orderaand i took it from the branch . Lowes in Houston, Texas - Washer repair replacement

I bought a Samsung washer at Lowes that broke down in 4 months. Its been 80 days and Lowes has not been able to provide me with replacement even after it was determined that it was not repairable. Long story short they have very nice customer care people who can only deliver nice words but zero service. Too much red tape and no zero accountability. Even after two months of running around and calls every week there is no resolution. They claim to have reimbursement for laundry services... LOL. I have spent well over 100 USD on laundry and all they gave me was 50 USD. Next time Go to Costco and buy the stuff if it does not work just return it and get replacement the same day At least you don't have to go through a 80 day agonizing period.

Lowes in Zephyrhills, Florida - Lousy scheduling and poor communication

I ordered a $2000 gas stove from Lowe's. When it arrived, they called to schedule installation. A day prior to the scheduled date, a driver called to deliver the stove which I stored in the garage. On the scheduled date, the installer arrived and told me that there was no conversion kit so he could not do the installation. I had the stove returned to the store and the driver who came to pick it up borrowed our dolly to move the stove because he did not have one. Unable to find the stove at any other store, I returned to Lowe's and found my stove on the showroom floor. I purchased it and was told the charge included delivery, installation, and haul off of my old stove, as well as a conversion kit. A date/time range was scheduled and, true to form, the drive shows up 8 hours before time. I again accepted the stove and called the store to confirm the installation time and was told that no installation was scheduled. I later discovered that there is no conversion kit, as promised. I've been told that I have to return to the store to sign a contract for installation before it can be scheduled. I'm between a rock and a hard place. This is the only model of stove that I want and the only supplier. I don't understand why they cannot clearly communicate that the delivery is separate from the installation and provide accurate times for both. I'll not purchase any other appliances from Lowe's.
