I called to check on my lawn mower, which was sent off to see if needs to be serviced/fixed or replaced. Which has 2 yr warranty on it. Jill then told me after awhile, that the woman who knows wasn't there, & she won't be able to help til Monday. Then HUNG phone up in my ear, while I was still talking!!! I called backed, told her that was very RUDE & unprofessional!!! Jill laughed in my ear! When I told her that wasn't funny at all, she then tried to say she thought I hung up. I'm very upset about this! Very Poor Customer Service! I spend a lot of $$ @ Lowe's to be treated in such a manner!! I can't believe this

I bought laminate floor , and thought I bought header boards that matched the floor , when they come to install they didn't have header boards with the order , so instead of keeping our old header boards they broke them , now magically we have to pay more in cash to get the header boards we wanted to begin with , when we could have used our old ones , then they didn't give our 12 month same as cash on our bill and tried to give us late fees to pay , I have been to the store 3 times to have this refunded and rebilled and they still don't have it right ,,,, 3 TIMES , THEY DONT EVEN MAKE IT EASY TO BUY FROM THESE HALF WITTS , THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE IS A COMPLETE JOKE , THEY LIE AND SAY THEY CANT DO THINGS LIKE CAL A STORE , WELL WHEN YOU ASK FOR A MANAGER ,, AGAIN MAGICALLY THEY CAN HELP YA ,, COMPLETE JOKE THE WHOLE COMPANY , I WILL TRY HOME DEPOT FROM NOW ON ,,

Lowes in Davidson, North Carolina - Dryer malfunction

Lowes installed the second dryer in four years in our Davidson, NC rental TH. The installation was done with hard piping not flexible venting. After a year the lint built up to dangerous levels. Eventually, the dryer heating element overheated and shut down the dryer entirely. Lowes would not warrant the repair nor the damaged dryer. The new dryer installer informed us we were quite fortunate the whole place didn't burn down. Our tenant also informed us that the Lowes installer was quite rude and broke the bi folding door tracks. No more shopping at Lowes, especially after numerous repairs to our 'John Deere' tractor-equipped with plastic gears and recycled battery-oh yes, purchased at Lowes!

Lint is much less likely to build up in rigid dryer vent than it is in a flexible vent. There are many more places for lint to catch on and build up in a flexible pipe.I would question whether or not your tenant was using or properly cleaning the lint trap in the dryer.

Lowes in Peebles, Ohio - Troy built *** wacker is junk

i WISH that i could say, you get what you pay for. i did not. troy built *** wacker. it lasted one season, and still looks like new. i used it non commercial, about 4 to 6 times a year. gas lines melted and obviously got sucked into the carb. after buying a 9 dollar original gas line kit, pulling the rope 300 times or so. not going to spend for a carb, because something else will probably break next. these things are rock bottom cheap made. and should be avoided. i will be sure to check brands and names ect. and not spend a another dime on troy built junk

Lowes in Port Charlotte, Florida - Service agreements are a joke

I have contacted Lowe's 5 times regarding the warranty I have on my fridge. They sent out a person who did not fix the problem. I called back and scheduled someone else for another day - they didn't show - called again to re-schedule - the person didn't show - called again - the person didn't show because the company they scheduled with did not service this area - called again - I was expecting someone today, the person didn't show and they didn't call me to reschedule. I called them to see where the tech was - they told me he was sick and not coming! If I didn't call them, I would be sitting here all day - again! I re-scheduled again - I've called service managers and all I hear is "I'm sorry" That doesn't fix the problem my fridge has!! Horrible service - will never buy there again.

Lowes in Chicago, Illinois - Getting the run around for weeks now

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher. It was missing the toe kick piece, which I didn't realize until I installed it. I've spoken with Lowes Customer Service for a total of at least 6hrs now trying to get the piece replaced. I Keep getting transferred from one department to another, then somewhere overseas, then back to the US. I even had the Lowes store manager call in and they refused to help him. They keep asking for me to email them a copy of the receipt, which I have 6 different times! Each time I am supposed to get a callback once its received, yet I have not received a callback once. I still cannot get this resolved and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I really don't understand how a customer service center can be so worthless. I have a claim number 511-235-134

I am gutting 2 bathrooms, 1 at a time, Just finished vanity and s setting stool Aquasource. fill valve would not fill, I live 100 miles from Lowes and we to Ace Hardware for new fill valve so I could have a working toilet. Saved receipt went to Sioux Falls Lowes and explained situation their response was you should have brought back entire product...I said refund me the money I paid Ace for working part...They said contact Aquasource *** If you sell the product then stand behind it, they lost a customer for life on a $8.00 item. Called the customer service today and same reponse..Never setting my foot in Lowes again . Home Depot customer for life!!

If you have a defective product you need to bring the entire thing back! It is just that simple!

How does Lowes know you're not trying to scam them? How does Lowes know what is exactly going on with out seeing exactly what you're talking about? Anywhere retail store you shop at you will always need the product and the receipt not just a story. Please become an educated consumer and treat customer service representatives better!

Your worked up over $8, you really need to reconsider your life values.

Better understanding retailer policies before you make a purchase will help you be a better consumer in the future. This is all on you.

I don't understand why people think the retail store is responsible for defective products. The manufacturer is responsible to make good on a defective product.

You should be upset with the manufacturer of the toilet, not Lowes. If you want someone to reimburse your for the cost of the valve, contact the manufacturer.

Lowes - Sprinkler System Parts Review from Dallas, Texas

Details
I came to purchase parts for my sprinkler system. Asked an associate about help he pointed out to the isle where i suppose to find the item. He called for somebody for that seccion ( isle 30) on the speaker, nobody ever came. I asked another associate for help, he said he knew nothing about sprinkler systems that he would find somebody. Nothing after a while waiting, i found the guy that went to find help teo isles where i was waiting having a good time laughing with another associate. I am done with this place.

How hard would you work for 8 dollars an hour? My guess you wouldn't even bother.

Here's the best part, would you really want assistant from some college freshman who knows nothing about the product and would just BS until you either get angry or end up buying the incorrect things? Or how about that retired grandma who again is just looking for some fun money?

You are wasting your time going to any big box store thinking your going to get expert advice. The experts are out doing their craft for triple the rate.

I have worked with Lowe's for several years and I pride myself at being

very educated about in the areas I work.

I'm 25, and have worked for other company's as a "professional blue collar" individual, where I went to customers homes, and the truth is I make more $$$ here.

Lowe's is a great company and they pay the employee's very very well.

So I'm sorry you feel that the personnel at your local Lowe's are not professional's in the area they are assigned, but please don't make wide net assumptions about everyone. ohh, and 98% of all associates start at over 12$ an hour. If you look down on someone in a retail store, you wont get very good service.

We can tell when people think we are just "hourly retail" workers. But I am 25, making well over 50K with great benefits, a fantastic 401K, and stability. I know that I have a paycheck coming.

Most "professionals" who work for themselves can not say the same. So look in a mirror before you turn your nose up at the next college kid working for "scraps"

Lowes - Customer service and estimate breakdown

I pay $35.00 to have an estimate done on my floor for laminate wood floor. While the the Installer was at my home I explain to him that I will be doing only two areas first. Therefore, I need for him to give me a breakdown of rooms. First of all it took me calling Lowes and and five days later after the visit to measure my floors that I received the estimate which was for the entire house instead of a breakdown. I made numerous trips to the store with employers including the person in charge of assigning the installer lying to me about the estimate being there and that someone would call me back. One week later today and I still have no estimate for the rooms I requested. I called back and spoke with a flooring rep who told me he just received the estimate about 5mins ago and will call me back in 30 mins. I find that strange since the installer assignor rep told me the estimate was there and that she is sending it to the flooring department. Lowes needs to better train its employees to stop giving customer the run around. Moving on over to HomeDepot. Lowes don't want my money plus I want my $35 refund to me if this is not taken care of today. Pissed customer

Big talk, wonder how well you would be able to handle, keeping a well stocked and clean department. While also managing 30-50 active clients, who are usually pretty needy.

but from time to time that happens, and they best course of action is to be polite and patient.

a small store flooring specialist sells around 53K a month.

In reference to the 35$ Lowe's makes exactly 0.00$ on the measurement.

That goes straight to the installer who came out. By what it sounds like, the installer did come out and did measure, that job you paid for has been done.
