Lowes customer service is horrible in my opinion.

Just to let every one know Lowe's customer service is awful and their repair service is even worse in my opinion! They were supposed to complete my service request 2 weeks ago. The repair guy came out and looked at my washer and said he had to order parts and would return to complete the repair the following Tuesday. Tuesday comes around and after taking the day off I receive a call stating that the tech called off and they had no one to complete my repair and would come out on Friday. I take another day off from work and low and behold I receive a phone call mid morning to cancel again stating that Lowe's is going to do a "buyout" due to the repairs being too costly. Lowe's states they have to wait until they find my receipt and every time I call it is tomorrow, 2 days, Monday, etc. If you need appliances DO NOT go to Lowe's and DO NOT count on their warranty!!!‬ (Everything contained in this comment is my opinion based on my experience)

LOWES does not due repairs, you are dealing with the manufactures repair person, has NOTHING to do with LOWES. You are actually lucky that they will be replacing your appliance, Be patient, it will come.

I've purchased two items today. Receipt I received says Register to Win.... There is NO website to respond to www.lowes.com/survey. There is at least 20 pages offering how to reach this website but NO website leading to www.lowes.com/survey. This has happened before with the same result. I called the store and NOBODY could answer how to get on this website, but gave me an 800-445-6937 to call. They said to get on Yahoo or other search engines and it would come right up. Wrong AGAIN! Is this survey a scam or what? Loews is an excellent place to purchase material BUT this come-on smells.

Online says they install attic ladders, but says you need to go to store. Store says they don't; but when told the online service says they do they say then they do. It takes 7 employees to figure out how to do an install order. 30 minutes later we get to the cashier who says they didn't do it right and failed to push it through to finish it. 10 minutes later he comes back and shows us the paperwork. The names are misspelled and more importantly the address is wrong. He apologizes and says he will have to start over from the beginning, because he can't just fix the misspellings. Unbelievable that no one there knew what they were doing including the managers.

Lowes review: Just a Front

Customer service boasted by this box store and for the most part it's just a front. How can a large store like Lowe's provide the customer service it boast if they staff a store that requires 220 employees with half that. They staff with part-timers mostly. Most of the employees don't know anything about the products Lowe's sells, some do, but most don't, they just tell the customer the same thing they can read from the product labeling. For Delivery, well, customers need to understand that some Store Managers don't know anything about delivery, they open up the board on a high volume store and over work the drivers they have and then gripe about the Overtime. They advertise Next Day Delivery, but the high volume stores do not have the resources or manpower to keep up with it. Only a fool will open a delivery board to full status and not have the resources or personnel to provide the service they advertise. So don't take your frustrations on the Department manager of Delivery, he or she is doing what they can to get the deliveries out especially since the CDL drivers can only drive 12 hours a day, by DOT regulations. The Dept. Mgrs are overloaded with work that ASM's should be doing plus answering phones from people who think the world revolves around them, like they are the only ones Lowe's delivers to. So next time you have a delivery scheduled, be patient and be home, sometimes they won't come back if you're not home when they call and come to your place.

On April 18th 2015 My husband and I went into Lowes in Wytheville Va to purchase stuff to fix a tub drain. We walked by an employee in the plumbing isle and he never even asked us if we needed help. After about 15 minutes he finally came back to his isle (he was not with another customer he was just sitting on a stool) my husband had to ask him for help. Because he sure wasn't going to volunteer to help us. He listened to my husband then took all of 3 min to look and said oh we don't have any of what you want. He then walked away from us and went to the stool again after we looked and found what we needed I went to find him to get his name he was sitting and playing a game one the computer flappy bird or something like it. I got his name Jimmy and when we checked out after spending almost $100 dollars in the store asked to speck to the. manager Steve was his name I explained what happened and was told he would speak with him. Which he probably didn't We was going to purchase a standup shower About $500 more but with employees like this I don't think I want to purchase it from Wytheville Lowes if even a Lowes. Home depot has the same one just like to support our home town businesses usually. This was a very poor excuse for an employee.

Don't agree with the sales person's actions and demeanor. However, why did you walk past the employee and not ask for help if you needed it?

Was he supposed to read your mind? You needed your tub fixed and wanted to buy a product to do it. Not the responsibility of a sales person to explain to you how to do it. It's a warehouse environment for gosh sakes, not Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

You say you spent almost $100 in the store and were going to spend another $500? OOOOHHHHH big deal.

Lowe's is looking for customers that spend $10,000+ on a regular basis like apartment complex businesses. Lowe's and retail wants you to stay at home and buy on the internet.

Isle means an island or peninsula, especially a small one. Aisle is the correct word for this application.

Now let's break down your bogus complaint and possible troll post. There is no way he was playing any video game on the stores computer, it simply would not be tolerated. Perhaps he walked by you without saying a word the first time, but did you say anything to him to get his attention? I didn't think so!

Thus you are also to blame. I highly doubt Jimmy is a mind reader. Home Depot has just as many complaints similar to this one.... I love when people toss out another store as if they're any better.

Guess what they're not! They pay their employees the same low wages and have similar hiring process!

1. They dont honor their price match. 2. Their phone customer service lies. 3. Their phone survey is rigged. 1. Have spent thousands at Lowes remodeling houses. Asked for them to price match HD because I did not want to go there. Had a spiff with HD and preferred lowes for a long time. I wasnt even asking for the 10% extra, just price match. They refused. 2. Called customer service. They said they would have someone call me back.. No call. I got an email and said they were sorry they would call me the next day. No call. Even by the first call missed I was ready to go back to HD but juat wanted to let them know how I felt. 3. Had gotten an 800 customer survey response called it and on the first negative answer, they disconnected the survey, sais you need to call this customet service #, goodbye.

My Partner and I we're going to get a hot water heater from a Lowe's in Nashville,th. A guy came to our home Monday,and checked out old water heater out, and we didn't hear anything from Lowe's all week. We are very disappointed in them.

Lowes attitude and incomptnent insuslting customer service

Cottonwood Mall Lowes, Albuquerque. Employee cut 4 sheets of 1/4" maple hardwood veneer plywood for me. It was placed the wrong way in the saw - face up, not face down which prevents the cheap blade from chipping the good veneer. Done while I was shopping for paint and of course it chipped out on the good side of the veneer. Other side, tha back side, just fine clean cut as has always been for 35 or so sheets before. I told the employee for future reference to observe the way to place it in the saw. Then I was told by a nearby employee that there is no "good" side of this plywood. I told him that he was wrong. I took the cut pieces to cash out where the cashier asked did I find everthing I needed. I mentioned what had happened but that I needed the the pw now anyway and would spend some time fixing it. Cashier agreed with me that it was a mistake and took my cart over to the "pro" desk to show what happened. One of the so-called "pros" insisted that I was not seeing what I was seeing and that I did not know what I actually know about hardwood veeneer plywood having a good side and a not-so-good side. Also insisted that the way it was cut was the only way to cut it with the blade at hand - while standing right there and looking at the clean cut one side and chipped out other side. I told this "pro expert" that if this was the mediochre standard that they insist represents their management, skill and customer service then I would not return to the store. I said to him that he was making excuses for mediocrity. I paid and took the 4 sheets because I do not want to waste natural resources and also had a deadline. I probably would not have said anything at all to these "pros" except that this one expert provoked me in saying that I did not know what I know and did not see what I was seeing right in front of his eyes. I will not return and fortunately there is a Home Depot about 2 blocks away that I have since checked out. The Home Depot nearby appears to have capable help without attitude and everything I need.

I called to check on my lawn mower, which was sent off to see if needs to be serviced/fixed or replaced. Which has 2 yr warranty on it. Jill then told me after awhile, that the woman who knows wasn't there, & she won't be able to help til Monday. Then HUNG phone up in my ear, while I was still talking!!! I called backed, told her that was very RUDE & unprofessional!!! Jill laughed in my ear! When I told her that wasn't funny at all, she then tried to say she thought I hung up. I'm very upset about this! Very Poor Customer Service! I spend a lot of $$ @ Lowe's to be treated in such a manner!! I can't believe this

I bought laminate floor , and thought I bought header boards that matched the floor , when they come to install they didn't have header boards with the order , so instead of keeping our old header boards they broke them , now magically we have to pay more in cash to get the header boards we wanted to begin with , when we could have used our old ones , then they didn't give our 12 month same as cash on our bill and tried to give us late fees to pay , I have been to the store 3 times to have this refunded and rebilled and they still don't have it right ,,,, 3 TIMES , THEY DONT EVEN MAKE IT EASY TO BUY FROM THESE HALF WITTS , THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE IS A COMPLETE JOKE , THEY LIE AND SAY THEY CANT DO THINGS LIKE CAL A STORE , WELL WHEN YOU ASK FOR A MANAGER ,, AGAIN MAGICALLY THEY CAN HELP YA ,, COMPLETE JOKE THE WHOLE COMPANY , I WILL TRY HOME DEPOT FROM NOW ON ,,

Lowes review in Davidson, North Carolina: Dryer malfunction

Lowes installed the second dryer in four years in our Davidson, NC rental TH. The installation was done with hard piping not flexible venting. After a year the lint built up to dangerous levels. Eventually, the dryer heating element overheated and shut down the dryer entirely. Lowes would not warrant the repair nor the damaged dryer. The new dryer installer informed us we were quite fortunate the whole place didn't burn down. Our tenant also informed us that the Lowes installer was quite rude and broke the bi folding door tracks. No more shopping at Lowes, especially after numerous repairs to our 'John Deere' tractor-equipped with plastic gears and recycled battery-oh yes, purchased at Lowes!

Lint is much less likely to build up in rigid dryer vent than it is in a flexible vent. There are many more places for lint to catch on and build up in a flexible pipe.I would question whether or not your tenant was using or properly cleaning the lint trap in the dryer.
