Lowes in San Diego, California - Stainless Steel water leak damage

We purchased a $3000 refrigerator with a valve leak wich caused a stain of in the door, we called for it to be repaired and it took a month to respond, we were told that they change the door but they came to only repair the valve now they stain on the door is cosmetic and they refuse to change the door. We were told we can not talk to the CEO because he does not take phone calls. Now we are stuck with a refrigerator that we just purchased a year ago with a warranty that is good for nothing. We will never buy from lowes again!

Can you please tell me what company is going to let you talk to the CEO?!? You must be a ***!

Also, Lowe's does not have their own repair service. So if you have a problem why don't you write a review on the contracted services' page, rather than Lowe's.

Lowes in Colonial Heights, Virginia - No help with Customer Service

I had the worst experience. I waited in customer service line, for over 30 minutes. I still wasn't able to return my item. I had my receipt, and orignal package. I had to go around the store to find an employee to help the customers, in customer service dept. I ask to see a Manager. Employee told me management was busy. The funny thing is, I just bought the item 1 hour before hand. There was no wait time to take my money, for item. After a 40 minute wait. I went home, and called the 1800 number to complain. They told me on the phone that a manager would call me about the problem. They Never called at all. Another example, of your great customer Service. I will never shop at your store again. For as my return. If I can't get someone else to return, my item for me. Then I will just have to, keep the defective Item. I bought from your Store, In Price George, VA 23875

Lowes in Hillsboro, Oregon - Quoting A/C install requires home visit

Tried requesting a ball park quote for central A/C install but it appears to be impossible without someone coming to my place. What...? Sales person claimed it's the corporate rule but failed to provide any meaningful explanation. This is particularly annoying because in the past I've had mostly good customer experience in Lowe's. Flooring department has no problem giving estimates... perhaps A/C crew needs to re-evaluate their stand. Dear Lowe's. Newsflash! I don't need a precise number. I need a rough estimate based on which I can decide which company to invite for further assessment. So far you are the only ones who declined me a quote. Great job turning loyal customers away.

You can't ask a retail employee what a "ballpark" estimate on an HVAC install would be. Lowe's does have a qualified person who could give you an exact estimate for FREE if you are willing to wait a few days.

I am sure you were speaking to a person that does not handle any of the exterior sales, because the person that does handle the exterior sales (like A/C units) is not normally in the store. The PSE (project specialist exterior) must come by your house to give even a ballpark estimate (there is no cost anyway?).

I personally would not talk to anyone except for the PSE regarding an A/C install, because they are the most knowledgable. There are a select few installs that require a home visit before a quote is given, but it is necessary.

Lowes in North Port, Florida - Refrigerator

Purchased a brand new refrigerator from the North Port store. The appliance manager was absolutely no help (Tom) Store manager was excellent (Tim). When we finally got the refrigerator it was defective. That Tom told me I had to call repair!!! Really!!! I said NO. I want a new refrigerator. I have not heard when that might be yet. I guess I will have to call TOM again to find that out as he doesn't seem to know what he's supposed to do!! Most of the service personnel are very helpful but this guy doesn't seem to want to be of any service at all. I am going to cancel my credit card with Lowes and go to Home Depot.

Lowes is a company that like to KEEP all their products.

If you go to Lowes, most of the time there are very few shoppers. There are lots of sales people, most of them looking like they were told to greet the shoppers. I see the managers working really hard to stimulate the workers with pep talks in the morning when NOBODY is willing to help the customers who need help. If you look at the shelves, no item is really a good deal. They put yellow stickers on 5-10% discounted items, like it is a good deal. There is very little turn over of items at Lowes. It is depressing to go shop there. I have walked out of Lowes many times not buying anything. There was no reason to buy it there. It is not a good buy! It is depressing that Lowes is not giving Home Depot the competition that it needs.

why do you bother going to Lowe's, then? quit complaining and go shop at Home Depot and save yourself the wasted energy on typing a review and add some years to your life by decreasing the so called "depression" that is caused by shopping at Lowe's.

Lowes - Counter Tops Review from Arlington, Texas

Anonymous mill.....just had lowes install counter tops..looks horrble.not a good layout have a huge glob of brown in center of my bar..many divits a crack on edge of bar and nickle size area on edge of bar they filled in with dark brown which isn't shinny like the rest of it and another chaulkie white area on edge of bar near wall...I don't think this is even the slab I picked .....it looks just like the first one I rejected picked out another one and they called and gave me a story my slab was cracked and they let the sister slab go and sold..of course I did not believe that...most likely a contracter wanted them...so made three trips to dallas to look at slabs now lowes will come look at my granite and I am sure the will have an excuse not to replace it....horrible service.....just wonder if these slabs are seconds?

Lowes Foods Viewmont, NC #245 I have been a loyal customer of Lowes Foods since their Grand Opening at this store. After the past several months I have decided to take my business elsewhere due to poor customer service at the service center. I've noticed many young kids put into customer service management postions within the last year. A young guy with serveral other young ones left in charge during very busy times in the mornings an days spend their time gathered behind the service desk, rather than helping cashiers who are not only running the registers but bagging themselves with no help while they stand gathered talking among themselves rather than helping. So much to te point that store managers themselves have to stop what they're doing an either get in a register or start bagging until these young folks realize it's time to come help. Not only that, when at the customer service desk hoping to get help with quesrions in a product needed, these kids in charge are extremely rude or act overly nice trying to be smart! This is unacceptable an so much unlike Lowes high standards. I have mentioned this to management many, many times yet nothing has even done. I have also discussed with friends I know that use to shop there an no longer do for the same reasons. I think it's sad such a fine store has lost customers for not taking actions an holding those accountable for the customer service provided by such young folks in a position far too serious for what they can handle.

I had a clogged sink. I went to Lowe's and bought a Cobra-power drive snake to assist with the clog. Less than one hour of using this product (didn't recoil, snake was flimsy and was ineffective) I began angry that this product was a piece of junk. Two hours after purchasing, I returned it to Lowe's. They would not allow a return of the product (hazardous waste), which I said I would take care of responsibility, but I wanted my money back. This is a bad product. After 10 minutes of people running around and leaving me standing there, Lowe's refused to make this situation right, I left the store, not to return….Additionally, the woman at customer service was very rude, not only to me, but also the man before me. This was the Aliso Viejo store.
