I ordered flooring for my kitchen, they completely missed my landing stairs that was suppose to be part of it. Ignored me when I called and sent a message and said I would have to pay for the flooring and service all over again, due to Lowes error, really! So I'm getting floors again, I will not be calling Lowes.

No customer service at Lowe’s in Riverpark, Fresno

We are looking at kitchen fixtures. And for two days this week, two Lowe’s employees (ladies) sat as they watched us looking. Today we finally approached them and said we had questions about kitchen sinks. They said they would contact plumbing associate who never showed up.

Total incompetence

Ordered a clothes washer from Lowes.com then contacted by email that it would arrive next day. Receive voicemail confirming delivery window of 12-2pm. No delivery. Called them and they said it never got on the truck. Contacted them indicated it couldn't be accepted on the next delivery date and proceeded to receive conflicting voicemails and emails between XPO and Lowes. Next email then confirmation came and this time, I called and had a supervisor from XPO send me an email confirming the delivery and yes, never got on the truck again. Each day it somehow was never loaded for delivery, I was never notified. I called into Lowes to cancel my order and the next evening, I receive a call from XPO indicating my delivery is scheduled. Utter incompetence - lacking complete and basic communication between Lowes and XPO.

FYI: If you need any home improvement work done buyer be warned do not use Lowe’s they play nice until they get you signed up then you automatically go to back burner so they can start other projects they over book jobs and never finish any promptly. They make all kind of excuses and nickel and dime you to death never return calls saying they are to busy in meetings with other victims. PLEASE PASS THIS WARNING TO ALL YOU KNOW to save them THANKS

Would NOT recommend

Paid for better roofing on a modular home; this was the original roof 1994. Was told any bad decking would be replaced and agreed. No decking was replaced. The finished roof was spongy as before and I was told by contractor that decking not rotted, just thin and poor quality. He never called and advised me of this when shingles removed, giving me the opportunity at that time to replace. When we supplied pictures of wood from garage that WAS visible he agreed to replace. Now the question, was the decking on roof, not visible for inspection, just poor thin poor quality or actually rotted? Why were we not given opportunity to replace once the condition of of decking was viewed by the contractor (after shingles removed) ? Why would we have installed a more expensive lifetime shingle over poor quality decking? Lowe's response was slow and not satisfactory.

I call bs, Lowes does not install anything in or on trailers except carpet. You probably used porch.com which is sponsored by lowes which does not make it a lowes install.

I've never understood why anyone would go thru a big box store to have something like roof repairs done instead of getting a couple of estimates from a local roofing company who does this for a living and usually will stand by their work. The contractors used by big box companies can be good, adequate or very poor---one never knows. You might have a local roofer come out and look at the roof to see what can be done, if anything to satisfy your suspicions as to the condition of the roof underlayment.

We purchased a range on 12/17/17 with the help of Pat. He was very helpful and courteous. He told us we had to pay for it at any cashier. When we went to check out there was a line of 20 people waiting at ONE (1) cashier open! Those lucky enough to check out themselves were fine but those who HAD to check out with a cashier were irritated. Where was all the help on a busy Sunday morning? Finally, another cashier came in but we were 2nd in lube by then and it didn't matter. The manager was no where to be found.

Lazy salesman assured me that the toilet I bought was the correct one on the front of the box . I told him to look in the box and make sure,"he said he could not do that."Well the man installed the toilet that was working for me I didn't think to look in the box; because he told me it was the right one. Guess what I come home to the wrong toilet in my house and I knew better shouldn't trust salesman they suck so Lowe's hire new people I'm so disappointed I think you need to come install the correct one and uninstall this one for me.

Yes, the Lowe's employee can open the box for you to look inside, and he/she should help you look inside. Uninstall it and take it back with your receipt.

Tell them the salesman told you the wrong thing. He was a lazy employee!

for selling you a toilet that had the wrong unit in the box, that comes directly from the manufacturer.

That's like taking your car back to the dealership to complain you picked up a nail in the tire.

If you think Lowes should inspect every piece of there some times 45 Million dollars a year worth of Inventory, you much be crazy.

After 2 months the contractor tells me he's not making any money so he won't fix and wanted to take any extra material so I cant get it fixed this is the obvious stuff the corners are not even close to lining up I've never been so embarrassed

Ordered french doors for our sunroom and was disappointed that I couldn't have the full glass because we needed a dog door installed. The gentleman in the store was nice and showed us the dog doors available and helped us pick out the right size. (This required my daughter sending me pictures and me talking to the gentleman via phone because I am handicapped) When the french doors showed up, there was no dog door to be installed and the man who originally helped us was no longer there. Now I have no dog door and I can't even see out into my backyard from my chair. They insist that we need to pay for the dog door and having it installed even though we went to all of the trouble of coordinating it. We were having them put in a 6 ft vinyl fence in the back yard, but we told them to forget it We want someone dependable. I can now see why there are so many reviews about good sales people and poor management teams at Lowes. They lost a $7500 fence budget over the principle of a $130 dog door. Very Poor customer service and planning.

Most millwork companies hanging doors do not install dog doors. The dog doors are usually something you purchase and install yourself of have a contractor install.

I could see where they may have check the sizes of dog door available to determine what size of panels you needed to order on your door. Does the sales order for the door say anything about the dog door being installed in the door. If not, you were just assuming it would be and need to pay for the installation. If in fact the order called for an installed dog door there should be no charge.

When ordering a product it is important that the details are correct on the written order.

If it wasn't spelled out in the written order it won't be in the door. I also wonder how you would expect them to install a dog door in a full glass door?

To start off I have to say that Lowes has the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced! I bought a dishwasher, fridge, stove and microwave on July 22nd (Thursday) was told the delivery date of the following Tuesday so I took off work to be there for them to deliver they never showed up never called or nothing. So called the delivery number to sit on hold for and hour for them to tell me they have to reschedule because they didn't have my stove in the warehouse so they rescheduled for that Wednesday, then got an automated call that night after talking with them saying it was rescheduled again. This has happened 6 or 7 times two of them me missing a days work! For two weeks I called the delivery hub, had to sit on hold EACH time for 30 mins to an hour, then got transferred to managers that would give me the run around and say they would call me back and never did! This matter got escalated to corporate as an emergency and everyday was told within 24 hrs I would be called back by Corporate, for them to never call! Then finally Ashley(Manager over delivery hub) left a voicemail saying they have all of my items and it would be delivered on Thursday again took off work to be there and they bring everything but the stove. But they send me an email saying all items were delivered so Once again called and sit on the phone for another hour for Joe to tell me that the warehouse didn't put the item on the truck so rescheduled for Saturday at 8 am. They never showed up, never called nothing. So call back that day sit on hold once again for over an hour to be told they never put the delivery in the system all the way and that he would find out what was going on and call me back and,once again esculated it to Corp to be contacted. I waited 2 days he never called and neither did Corp! So this past Sunday I go into the store and Dan the associate that helped me the day I bought the items called them to find out what was going on and I had to stand there for your and half for them to tell them they don't have my stove, that they would have to order it and it would be another WEEK before my stove would be in the warehouse. So Dan(sales associate) goes above and beyond and starts calling stores to find out that a store less than 20 miles has one. So he calls them ask them to hold it and calls a manager over to help get me my stove. So then Jeff and Eli(Store Managers) come over and schedule my stove to be delivered on Tuesday(today) so again I leave work early they never showed up never called!! Call the store talk to Eli and he said it didn't get put on the truck and so I would have to wait yet another day and *** early again for them to probably not show up once again. I ask where the responsibility falls on all of these Employees from Managers at the store, to delivery drivers to delivery managers all the way up to Corporate and no one can answer me to who this falls on all I get is excuses and lies and these people still have a job!! To me Corp is supposed to be the one that you go to when you can't get things done the way they are supposed to, but its sad when you can't even rely on Corp to even return a phone call!!! That's ok cause if my stove isn't here at 10 in the morning Channel 9 news will be called!! I will never buy another thing from Lowes! I would rather pay a thousand dollars more and go to Home Depot or Best buy!!!! LOWES SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Lowe's GE appliance rebate scan

I purchased over $3000 worth of GE appliances and was supposed to get a measly $50 Lowe's gift card as a rebate. I ordered online so I submitted the paperwork the delivery people gave me as my receipt since I didn't actually get a regular receipt. A month later I was told I didn't qualify for the rebate because I didn't submit a qualifying receipt. I resubmitted with the original paperwork along with copy's of my online order from the my Lowes web sight where I ordered. I never heard anything else and when I called to check they said I still had not submitted a qualifying receipt and the deadline had passed so I cannot submit anything else and I don't get the rebate. I looked and found I spent over $5000 at Lowes personally this year and much more thru my company.

Lowe's doesn't care about their Customers

In 2014 I purchased a Washer, Dryer, and Refrigerator. From day #1 there were issues because no one could figure out how to reverse the doors on the refrigerator. I finally ended up with a Whirlpool (my second) which I did not want but after three tries at delivery I was over it. In March of 2017 this unit just quit, leaking water from the freezer and running constantly. I swore I wouldn't go back to Lowes but I was assured by one of the Ladies that they would take care of me. From day #1 the ice maker sounded like a machine gun going off when it filled with water. They changed it, it still sounds like a machine gun and it leaks. I purchased an extended warranty, what a JOKE! They are called "Class Appliance" what a Joke that is, Class Not! I took a Friday off from work and what a waste of time. Bottom line, nothing was resolved, the ice maker still has not been repaired and the unit runs almost 24/7 (which I was told was normal and confirmed by Fridgedare.) I also purchased five solid bi-fold doors, when I went to pick them up the Gentleman who brought them to the delivery door was not Happy. I am 64 years old women, not that I am in bad shape but when I asked him if he who was going to help me, he Barked "Find someone outside." I had three of the five in my car when an employee walked by looked at me and kept walking. After asking him if there was no one to help a women at Lowes, he ended up helping me with the last two. I am so over LOWES, I will shout it from the highest mountain that no one should shop there, especially a women. Oh, be very concerned if you live in the Clearwater/Tampa, Florida area and buy an extended warranty with Class Appliance (what a joke).

Lowe's has done much much worse then just not standing behind their products that they sell, and honestly they will just take the money and run. There is a big story right now brewing with how Lowe's Destroyed A West Virginia Man's home leaving him homeless!

The man's mom hired Lowe's to put a new roof on his childhood home and leaked many times throughout the first year until the Warranty ended. Over the years the home has become much worse to the point in which now there is black mold in the home, Lowe's is not playing nice at all.

Ordered something drove 1/2 hour to get

Today I ordered a spiral Christmas tree online to be picked up at Bloomfield, CT Lowes. I clocked out of work and drove 1/2 hour to pick it up only for them to tell me they did not have it. After coming back to the office I tried to order it again and YES it would let me. When I asked at the desk how this could happen she told me it does sometimes. What kind of an answer is that??? I AM SO ANGRY and proceeded to contact the Customer Service Department, who called the store it even indicated online where the item was located. I do not understand how this could happen. Every time I've placed an order online for store pickup, I either get an email saying the order is ready OR the store will call me to say they do not have the item in stock at that location.Don't rely on what the inventory says is available as it is not "real time inventory" so is rarely if ever correct. The only way to be sure items are available is to see them with your own eyes.

Misleading Battery Rebate

1.) I purchased Energizer batteries for $15.14 since there was a five dollar rebate displayed in the packaging. Coupon reads as follows: "Get a $5 Lowes gift card by mail with your $15 Energizer battery purchase". That is all you can see from the packaging view. Once you buy the batteries and open the packaging, they tell you that this offer is before taxes. Had I known this purchase did not qualify, I would not have made it. Slippery come-on rebate advertising! 2.) Even if the purchase was $15 dollars before taxes, there is no department number on the register receipt which means a wait for customer service to issue one for you. They make a rebate hard to process on line for batteries. I noticed a lot of unhappy customer reviews for Lowes. I will not purchase an item just for a Lowes rebate again.

Bad experience!!!

I bought a lot of appliances from Lowe's like a Riding Lawn mower, stainless steel stove and refrigerator, top load washer and a weedeater, bought like 3 years warranty on all and when I have an issue with my stuff and call to report something wrong they can't find me in the system or they can't find my warranty, I'm having so much issues with my washer machine it got me sick. I paid CASH for everything almost $5000 and now I can't get no relief for one the receipt wore out to fast and I feel if I spent all my money there and I was suppose to be in your system why???? when I come or call in no one can find me. I'm hurt about all the business I did with you all and I can't get no satisfaction!
