Lowes review in North Port, Florida: Refrigerator

Purchased a brand new refrigerator from the North Port store. The appliance manager was absolutely no help (Tom) Store manager was excellent (Tim). When we finally got the refrigerator it was defective. That Tom told me I had to call repair!!! Really!!! I said NO. I want a new refrigerator. I have not heard when that might be yet. I guess I will have to call TOM again to find that out as he doesn't seem to know what he's supposed to do!! Most of the service personnel are very helpful but this guy doesn't seem to want to be of any service at all. I am going to cancel my credit card with Lowes and go to Home Depot.

Lowes is a company that like to KEEP all their products.

If you go to Lowes, most of the time there are very few shoppers. There are lots of sales people, most of them looking like they were told to greet the shoppers. I see the managers working really hard to stimulate the workers with pep talks in the morning when NOBODY is willing to help the customers who need help. If you look at the shelves, no item is really a good deal. They put yellow stickers on 5-10% discounted items, like it is a good deal. There is very little turn over of items at Lowes. It is depressing to go shop there. I have walked out of Lowes many times not buying anything. There was no reason to buy it there. It is not a good buy! It is depressing that Lowes is not giving Home Depot the competition that it needs.

why do you bother going to Lowe's, then? quit complaining and go shop at Home Depot and save yourself the wasted energy on typing a review and add some years to your life by decreasing the so called "depression" that is caused by shopping at Lowe's.

Lowes - Counter Tops Review from Arlington, Texas

Anonymous mill.....just had lowes install counter tops..looks horrble.not a good layout have a huge glob of brown in center of my bar..many divits a crack on edge of bar and nickle size area on edge of bar they filled in with dark brown which isn't shinny like the rest of it and another chaulkie white area on edge of bar near wall...I don't think this is even the slab I picked .....it looks just like the first one I rejected picked out another one and they called and gave me a story my slab was cracked and they let the sister slab go and sold..of course I did not believe that...most likely a contracter wanted them...so made three trips to dallas to look at slabs now lowes will come look at my granite and I am sure the will have an excuse not to replace it....horrible service.....just wonder if these slabs are seconds?

Lowes Foods Viewmont, NC #245 I have been a loyal customer of Lowes Foods since their Grand Opening at this store. After the past several months I have decided to take my business elsewhere due to poor customer service at the service center. I've noticed many young kids put into customer service management postions within the last year. A young guy with serveral other young ones left in charge during very busy times in the mornings an days spend their time gathered behind the service desk, rather than helping cashiers who are not only running the registers but bagging themselves with no help while they stand gathered talking among themselves rather than helping. So much to te point that store managers themselves have to stop what they're doing an either get in a register or start bagging until these young folks realize it's time to come help. Not only that, when at the customer service desk hoping to get help with quesrions in a product needed, these kids in charge are extremely rude or act overly nice trying to be smart! This is unacceptable an so much unlike Lowes high standards. I have mentioned this to management many, many times yet nothing has even done. I have also discussed with friends I know that use to shop there an no longer do for the same reasons. I think it's sad such a fine store has lost customers for not taking actions an holding those accountable for the customer service provided by such young folks in a position far too serious for what they can handle.

I had a clogged sink. I went to Lowe's and bought a Cobra-power drive snake to assist with the clog. Less than one hour of using this product (didn't recoil, snake was flimsy and was ineffective) I began angry that this product was a piece of junk. Two hours after purchasing, I returned it to Lowe's. They would not allow a return of the product (hazardous waste), which I said I would take care of responsibility, but I wanted my money back. This is a bad product. After 10 minutes of people running around and leaving me standing there, Lowe's refused to make this situation right, I left the store, not to return….Additionally, the woman at customer service was very rude, not only to me, but also the man before me. This was the Aliso Viejo store.

Lowes - Warranty Review from Houston, Texas

I bought a washer in 2011 and it is still under warranty. And because of there *** policy, I even had 4 repair guys come out and not fix anything. They still will not replace unit because repair guys keep ordering parts that they "think" will fix it. This a horrible situation because no one wants to do anything. With all the parts they have order could have easily gave me a replacement. Lowes needs new policy and better customer service.

Lowe's has contracted repair companies that come out to repair appliances, which i am sure you have already figured out. So call them and find out why they cant fix it, not Lowe's. If you are so set on Lowe's doing something about it, call their Customer Care line and, trust me, the store will bend over to anything you ask.

Lowes review in Houston, Texas: Defective Carpet

We bought new carpet from Lowes in Tomball Tx. After a few weeks we realized the carpet was two different colors. We called Lowes to complain. They sent someone after a week and a half. They took pictures and told us we would be hearing from the install manager. Ten days later, the manager showed and checked the carpet and ran a few tests and determined that yes our carpet was two different colors. then we were told we would get a call from the carpet manufacturer rep. After two weeks, the rep came out and checked the carpet, took some pictures and said we would be hearing from Lowes in 7 - 10 days. We called today to find out what the delay and we were told it would be about another 25 days before we would hear from the installer or Lowes. This is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait for replacement carpet. We just keep getting the run-around. So all in all, it will take almost four months to get the new carpet maybe. We will never make another major purchase from Lowes again.

Lowes Cashier Review

I have been a loyal customer for Lowes and have bought items there many times. Today I was buying some supply and the cashier asked for an ID when I went to pay. I had told her that I didn't have an ID with me and she gave me an attitude and was just simply rude. I ended up not being able to buy anything. Im very dissapointed.

Lowes review in Shady Side, Maryland: Abysmal customer service and sales service at the Lowe's in Bowie, MD

Abysmal customer service and sales service at the Lowe's in Bowie, MD. We ordered a dishwasher through this Lowes store--what ensued following our order was arguably the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. The expected delivery date, some two weeks later, for the dishwasher came and went. So we contacted the sales representative named Roy in the appliances department regarding the order. We were told they had botched the order and received the wrong model--we were told they would reorder the correct model and were assured that they would expedite it. This was a bold faced lie. When trying to follow up on the new delivery date of correct dishwasher I got a song and dance from Roy that he was working to verify the date for us, but never actually indicated when we could expect the delivery. I had to repeatedly call the store to try and get an update on our order--they never bothered to call us back despite assurances they would. Roy suddenly became unavailable to talk--always out or on vacation. I talked to Charles and Martin, also in the appliance department, to try and get some information on our order, but they proved less than helpful in nailing down a date and failed to call me back as promised to confirm a delivery date. They routinely fell back to the fact that since they did not make the sale/order the appliance there was little the could do for me. After reaching a peak level of frustration, I contacted a random manager at this Lowe's location who was able to tell me that I could expect the delivery now at a month and a half after our order date. I was very clear in expressing my frustration with the fumbling of our order and the shell game the appliance associates appeared to to playing with us straightening out their error. The general sense I got from this manager was an apathetic "sucks-to-be-you" type of response. I was shocked by the manager's tone and utter lack of interest in the situation I encountered with his staff. ***-poor all around experience.

Lowes - Manager Review from Colleyville, Texas

I was in lowes granbury tx. Yesterday. I wanted to buy a drill press that was on display. The manager that was on duty wouldn't sale it to me cause she said all the parts may not be there. I own a machine shop and I told her I knew all the part was there. But she wouldn't do it. I felt like she was calling me ***. I but a lot form lowes and have for some time now. The reason I wanted that one was because there wasn't another in the box and I live 80 miles away. This took place on the 2-5-15. About 3:00 PM I don't remember her name but I know lowes will know. I really don't expect anything will be done about it. But I wanted voice my opinion. If nothing I will be going to homedepot form now on.
