Lowes review in Baltimore, Maryland: Defective appliance
I bought a dryer 4 months ago. I called Oct 19 to get a repair person because it had stopped working. He showed up Oct 22 without the necessary part but did tell me he had a lot of defective dryers from Lowes recently. He ordered the part which did not arrive in time for the rescheduled visit on October 28. I took off another half day of work today to meet the repair guy between 1 and 5 but at 6 I was told he would be there at about 7 pm. At this point I rescheduled with zero confidence these clowns will actually ever repair this dryer that I have had for FOUR MONTHS. I have several rental properties and have spent at least 10K a year with these guys for the last several years. and actually had planned on another 7 K in early next year. Looks like Home depot is the next stop on my list.

Lowes review in Houston, Texas: Online Pumpkins for Halloween 2014
Well, I was online browsing to see how much pumpkins were going for and Lowe's had medium pumpkins for $1.00 so I ordered 3 and a variety pack of some smaller pumpkins.. Well, when I went in store to pick them up after receiving NO e-mails from them; I learned they had canceled my order. No e-mail was sent out that they were canceling my order, that there was a mistake or anything; Just an "oh I'm sorry and your money should be refunded back to your account.." Yeah well I don't care if they ever have any deals or sales or anything again - I refuse to buy anything from them ever after this *** experience.

Lowes - Water Based Paint Review from Bellevue, Washington
I just switched to home depot from Lowes watered down paint .I had a problem there brought it to the paint station s attention and guess what .ur screwed the assistant manager Tim Swanson is a little mouthy *** that works there that has absolutely no people skills .and martin the drug attict in paints .they need to find people that help you not there to argue at u or wrongly match paint .just a warning !!go to home depot much better .I don't need a response back I'm just done dealing with that store bye bye to all the paint I buy there in that store.a holes
Lowes - Washer Review
I bought a washer from lowes 2 years ago, and paid to get the five year contract. My washer broke they have been out five times already and currently my washer is still not working after four months! I wouldn't recomend anyone to buy from them! They have not held up there policy at all! They Have been rude and exctemely unhelpful! Currently I'm trying to get a lawyer and believe me I'll win! Lowes beware! And btw I'm a mother with seven children if anyone needs a washer it would be me!

I have contracted with Lowes in Cincinnati, OH to remodel my first floor, including total kitchen remodel. At first the design group was very helpful. Then I paid for my cabinents and they sat in my house for 5 months before the work started. The day my work was to start I was told the date would be 2 weeks later. Even after scheduling 2 months out. There has only been 1-2 men working in my home at a time. I had to move out. They did not have work order for bathroom that I understood to be paid for. Lowes never paid for my granite so I lost what I picked out and had to spend time choosing again. The design person said "good news, lowes is picking up the extra granite cost, but you have to pay for the work in your bathroom" I already paid for everything. At least that wad what she said as she collected the final payment of over 40k. I have not received any appliances and the workers couldn't find them, but I paid for them back in April/May. The product is nice, but the contractor and design person are trying to rob me blind for work that was to be included in the job. They won't even start your job until it is paid in full. I have remodelled before. This is an awful experience. Please don't use Lowes for your job.

Went to LOWES late Oct. 2014 in Tucson, AZ on Ina Rd & had OVER THE TOP HELP from Ms Brittany who took me from one end of the store to the other. I said I was done but then got GREAT additional help from Kevin & Scott. I needed 1 more piece and stopped at Home Depot on Thorneydale Rd. but the same piece *** plug) was amazingly more than triple in price !!! !!!! !!!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! ! !!!!! !!! !!!! !!!! !!! !!! !!! !!!
Once again A wasted trip to Lowes. I will never set foot in that store again even though Home Depot is twice as far away. Their employees are rude and unhelpful. Many of them do not know whether or what items are. And have the time I end up driving to Home Depot anyways so why bother.
Poor Treatment of subcontractors, SHAME ON LOWES
We have sub for them for 15 years. They are not loyal to their constrictors, they will give you work and without notice take you off rotation so that you no longer receive work. Its feast or famine with them. They have no consideration that people have families and business obligations to pay for. When you call to inquire why no work is sent to you they offer nothing or 'don’t take it personally,' well I’m telling you it is personal when you have to keep income going. They want you to devote unconditional time to the chronic calls, emails phone calls for updates and questions. At the end of the day I'm lucky to be making a dollar a day. I also make a lot less than I did when I first came on board. They have taken my services and reduced them to a cheap one size sits all solution, so I get paid the same regardless if it is a specialized job or a standard one. Dont get me started on the sales dept. Either, they make no effort to get to know what they are selling instead placing all the responsibiliity on the installer to sell the job. I have made the decision to let them go after 15 years and end the cycle of feast or famine.
Lowes review in Calgary, Alberta: USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE - CLERKS IN DEPARTMENT LEAF BLOWERS DID NOT KNOW CORRECTING PRICING
I WENT TO PURCHASE A LEAF BLOWER. THE ONE I WANTED WAS OUT OF STOCK. THE CLERKS INSISTED IT WAS 15% off. When I called the other store they said no. ARE LOWES NOT ALL THE SAME? THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT ERROR IF THERE ARE SIGNS ALL OVER THE STORE. THEY WERE RUDE AND THEY WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR BAD DAY. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH LOWES, THEIR ORDERING AND PRICING. THEY COMMENTED THERE WERE 12 LEAF BLOWERS ARRIVING ON THE NEXT TRUCK AND IN THE NEXT BREATH SWAID THEY WERE NOT ORDERED. HOW CAN YOU MAKE AN ERROR THAT SIGNIFICANT. I AM NOT IMPRESSED WITH LOWES AND WILL BE SHOPPING THE COMPETITIORS ACROSS THE STREET.

Lowes review in Goldsboro, North Carolina: Lack of loading assistance for customer with broken wrist in a cast
Long term Lowe's customer. I have a broken left wrist in a cast. Today I shopped at the Lowe's in Raleigh at 4831 Grove Barton Road.I needed a specific sized microwave today for entertaining this afternoon. An associated named Dwight was very helpful, he measured the microwave to confirm the dimensions. and loaded it into my cart. After making my purchase I asked for loading assistance as I can't lift with my left arm. I was told no loaders were working today, Sunday October 26. I had to rely on the kindness of others and find someone in the parking lot to load the box in my car. I called the 800 customer service number and the operator brought the store manager, Michelle on the line. She told me as I had already left the store there was nothing she could do. Her overall tone expressed her lack of interest in my problem. End result, after years as a customer doing major renovations I am voting with my feet and will NOT return to a Lowe's.
