Lowes - Installation Review

I purchased a frigidaire split door refrigerator and from the time they installed it it has been giving me problems it does not make ice like it should i called lowes to complain and they sent a tech out and i was told to change my water flow valve which i did and it still made only and lil ice its been 8 months and im still having the same problems ive been calling the corpoorate office to complain and all i get is run around they put you on hold forever and never come back to the phone then you ask for a supervisor and they tell u let me check on it give me a min why i put u on hold and they never come back i am so upset that i cant get my refrigerator repaired anyone not to ge t

Lowes sucks. Glad 2 take our $$$ - but both lowes & contracted installers/warranty co's are in on their crimes.

BUYER BEWARE.

LOWES CUSTOMER SERVICE /warranty dept.

lie, stall, put U on hold 4-ever when(rightfully calling 2 complain).

***-u, lowes. C u in civil court.

Lowes in Jacksonville, Arkansas - New Refrigerator

I bought a new refrigerator in May 2014 from the Jacksonville AR Store Ref went out fan motor...took over 3 weeks to get a part...my Ref set in my garage for 19 days ....they finally sent a man to put the part in....they just left the Ref in my garage...Jacksonville store said had to make another appointment to get the Ref set in the house....another couple of days...Jacksonville store sent one man to put the Ref in the house...he set it up...we ask him about the doors...he said they could not be fixed...we called the Jacksonville store...they said come in and pick out a new Ref...we did...we told the store Manager we needed a counter depth Ref several times...We got a side by side this time...they said we will pick the old one in the house up and bring the new one to us..I paid for the new Ref....this morning they brought the new Ref out....wrong one...not a counter depth ref...they did not care....Lows damaged my door frame when they took the Ref out the first time.... I talked to David a Manager at Customer Care Service I will never buy anything from Lows again....I ask for a refund back on both Refrigerators...Lows came to my house 5 times, and could not get it right...so this tells you how the operate....When will my door frame be fixed.... Lowes in Virginia - Recently had surgery, was using walker. Made mention to manager that they should have benches or chairs because of size.

Her response was that's why they have motorized wheel chairs. Well first of all how often do you see them sitting in the store with a dead battery, secondly I have no way of transporting my walker. I can't leave it in the parking lot. I don't believe they have curb side service. You usually see 4 or 5 or the chairs for the hundreds of daily shoppers. There are millions of Lowe's customers and no one ever knows when something will take away their freedom of movement. How much would it inconvenience a retailer of that magnitude to place a few random benches. If this complaint was asking consumers in my situation (53, never over weight and perfectly healthy until a few months ago) to boycott Lowe's for a month to see the impact that we have on there bottom line, maybe they would consider our comfort.

In all the stores I've ever been in, 90% of the departments have chairs available by the desks. I rarely see them used.

Not to be rude, but you know where you're going before you get there. If you don't feel up to walking around that big store then A)use the provided cart or B) don't go in there.

With that said, I wish you a speedy recovery.

Mesh Metal Baskets Review

I orders 2 orders of mesh metal baskets for my laundry room, 12 all together. When both orders came in they were stack within each other with nothing to separate in between. We had to use a hammer to separate them and they became bent in the process. In addition it took hours. Very unhappy

Lowes in Hartford, Connecticut - Delivery nightmare

I bought both a dishwasher and a stove from Lowe's in Bloomfield this summer. They have a third party company do their delivery. The company is fine, it is Lowe's that does not give a drat about its customer nor their inept way of doing business. In both cases, the product did not make its way without me screaming or it was just the wrong product, as in the case of the stove. I had to work with the management and both times they treated me as if I had all of the time in the world at my disposal...like "making another " appointment was nothing. Maybe their customers do not work for a livng Go to Home Depot. These folks did not do enough to make sure that the products were given to the customer in a good fashion You know, we used to have a small hardware store in town and they would order things special for their customers, I miss them

Lowes - Olympic Rescue It Paint Review from Saratoga Springs, New York

I am really pissed regarding the color chips on chart. I purchased the color Gooseberry and painted sidewalk. It came out bubblegum pink. I brought back said Rescue It and was told it would be different on cement. REALLY!!! He, the paint guy darkened it twice. It is nowhere the color of Gooseberry and I was told that if he darkened it any more, it would not dry. So guess I threw away thirty five dollars and got a pink sidewalk. That will be the last time I purchase any paint at Lowes. I will ALWAYS go back to Sherwin Williams. My husband has painted at least an acre of walls, etc. and this is the first time this has happened. There was a customer looking at the Rescue It. I told him to very careful. He thanked me very much and said he would do research on product.

Lowes - Review about Riding Mower

I purchased a troy bilt riding mower last year and within 3-4 months the transmission went out. After dealing with the request for money as fees Lowes finally had it repaired. This week the mower is displaying the same issue.... haven't had the mower for one full season without issues. Guess Lowes does not stand behind their products. Buyer beware... go to another retailer.

Lowes in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Terrible Customer Service

Ordered paint online and tried to pick it up three times. The website said the paint was ready for immediate pick up. Waited in line for 20 minutes to be told that Internet orders aren't mixed until the customer shows up. What it the point of ordering online?!? They were busy as usual and only had one person working (as usual), so I told them I would return the next day to pick up the paint. Stood in line again for 20+ minutes, only to be told the paint wasn't mixed yet for the second time and that it would take at least another 30 minutes for it to be done again. The third time, I stood in line for 25 minutes because only one person was working again. This time they couldn't make the paint at all because one of their mixing machines was broken. (They could make gallon sizes only.) Talked to the manager who said that the paint count ALWAYS has THREE people working but that has NEVER been my experience shopping there for the past few years. It is only one person with visitations by a second person. Cancelled the online order and will get something similar at Home Depot. I am so sick and tired of dealing with this store. They used to have great customer service but the past two have been TERRIBLE. Don't waste your time at: Harrisburg, PA 4000 Union Deposit Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17109, Store #0522 Go to the Harrisburg East Lowes or Home Depot off Jonestown road instead so you don't waste your time. Similar experiences with ALL departments at this store.

You can thank the store manager Jamie stauffer who is no longer there for totally ruining that store. They lost 60 percent of their valuable staff.

Lowes in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Service

Have an extended warranty on my refrigerator. Called for service as refrig is not working. First appointment they could give me was two days later. Stayed home all day and no one came. Called back and was told the service tech wouldn't be there for 10 days. When i complained about going 10 days without the use of my frig was assured that that was not acceptable and that a supervisor would call me by the end of the next day. Still waiting for that call. Called back. After a 11 minute hold, was connected to a supervisor who could only say that they had an appointment for me and that there was no way to file a formal complaint. It was rather amazing that I called a service tech and he came out within a few hours and fixed my frig. at my expense. So call me *** for ever buying the extended warranty and call me a former Lowe's custormer
